Chapter 13- 10 hottest things about you-
The week had gone by quickly Ray had backed off stalking Elizabeth he still stared at her like she was prey while in her class. Her and Blake were getting along wonderful and he was turning out to be her favorite TA. It was already Friday she just had a morning class and then a department meeting. Tonight, though was spy reunion and for that she was excited. She just needed to get thru this meeting first. We have all been in these meetings were lots of words are spoken but nothing is ever really said. This was that kind of meeting. She sat in the back of the room with Mike B listening to him make snide and sarcastic comments every time someone spoke. She found him hilarious but would never tell him that. She was trying to hide her smirk when the department head brought up Ray. That made her look up and Mike B shut up. Ray had been admitted to the phyc ward that morning and they didn't have much more information than that at this time. Elizabeth cocked her head and looked at Mike. After the meeting they walked back to there offices talking about what could have happened and thankful that it didn't involve Elizabeth. Elizabeth packed up her bag and headed to find Henry so they could go home.
Elizabeth found him in the library talking with a large group of students. Female students who were drooling over her husband. He was talking about religion and they were all entranced. She understood she was still entranced by him even after all these years later. She asked if she could steal him away and they walked away together with his arm around her shoulder and her arm around her waist. He really had no idea how attractive he really was. Spy reunion was in DC, so they decided to go as a family. Henry would hang out with Aiden and his kids while Elizabeth was at the spy reunion and then they would spend the night in a hotel and hang out in DC on Saturday for a while.
When they got to DC they checked into the hotel. Henry and Elizabeth took the kids swimming for a while until Elizabeth needed to get out and go get ready. They went up to the room, Elizabeth jumping into the shower and the kids getting changed to go hang out at Uncle Aiden's house. Juliet was in Bagdad only have had come home for Christmas they Uncle Aiden was more fun and cooler anyways. When they were already Henry dropped Elizabeth off at the restaurant and drove over to Aiden's.
When Elizabeth got to the restaurant, she was excited to see George first, he was the sweetest guy ever and so funny but so bad at magic tricks, but they would never tell him that. She gave him a big hug and they sat down and ordered a drink. Isabel showed up next and Elizabeth jumped up to pull her into a hug. Muncie showed up next followed by Conrad. Elizabeth and George were already on there 3rd drink by then. "We probably outta get some food into you" Conrad teased Elizabeth. They ordered supper and more drinks. Conrad texted Henry that Elizabeth was going to be drunk when she was done. Henry laughed and shook his head. He and Aiden had been having a good time and his niece and nephew where spending the night their who were Stevie and Ali's age. Aiden offered to keep the kids overnight because everyone knew tipsy Elizabeth was an affectionate Elizabeth. Conrad and Muncie left first needing to get home to their families. George, Isabel an Elizabeth stayed and talked and had a few more drinks. Isobel and George were also pretty drunk. Elizabeth was very drunk. Elizabeth decided to text Henry.

Henry got in his car and headed for the bar letting the kids stay with Aiden for the night. They packed up their bag and decided they would just drive back to the farm tonight as it was probably going to be a long weekend and week because when one kid got sick everyone got sick.
They picked up the Kids from Aiden's, Elizabeth apologized profusely. Aiden told them it wasn't a big deal at all. They got the kids loaded up and drove the 2 hours back to the farm while the kids slept. When they got to the farm, Henry carried Stevie inside and came back out for Ali, as soon as he picked up Ali, she threw up all over him. Elizabeth tried to hide her smirkle. Elizabeth carried Jason up to his room before coming back downstairs to help Henry. Henry caried Ali to the laundry room and stripped her down while Elizabeth ran a bath for her in the downstairs guest bath. He pulled his shirt off and threw it in the washer to before carrying Ali to the bath. "Babe why don't you go shower and I will give her a bath. "Elizabeth told Henry giving him a small smile. Henry went up to shower. Elizabeth got Ali all washed up and gave her some Tylenol to help with her fever. It was 5:30 in the morning when she finally got Ali laid down.
It was 6 o'clock in the morning when she woke up to the sound of someone puking next to her bed. Her eyes shot open intime to see little Jason puking all over the side of her bed. She jumped out of bed and walked him to the bathroom. Henry jumped out of bed and went and got him a clean pair of Jammies and handed them to Elizabeth who was running a bath. He then went and cleaned up his puke thankfully it all landed on the sheets and blankets and not on their actual bed. He was downstairs putting their sheets in the washer when he heard Elizabeth yell his name. He ran upstairs and heard Ali puking he ran into her room and she was sitting up in bed puking on herself. He rubbed her back while she continued to puke. When she was done, he helped her strip out of her jammies and put her robe on and took her into the kids' bathroom and ran her a bath. When the water was ran, she got in and he went into strip her bed and took the dirty sheets and jammies downstairs to the washing machine. Thankfully, it didn't get on her comforter. Elizabeth got Jason out of the bath and got him in Jammies. She carried him to his room to make sure that his bedding was clean and thankfully it was. She heard Stevie running down the hallway to the kid's bathroom. She reached the toilet just in time. She left Jason in her room for a moment to check on Stevie, she got her a glass of cold water. She sent Stevie downstairs. She carried Jason downstairs to the living room and asked Henry to put a big blanket on the couch so they could hang out altogether. Henry found a big blanket and covered the couch he grabbed a trashcan from each bathroom and brought them down to the living room. He went and got Ali out of the bath and got her redressed in jammies and carried her downstairs. Elizabeth was sitting on the couch with Jason curled up in her Arms and Stevie on the edge of the couch. Henry sat next to Elizabeth with Ali on his lap and grabbed another blanket and covered them all up and turned-on cartoons.
Elizabeth had fell asleep at some point because when she woke up again it was to the sound of Stevie puking next to her thankfully in the trashcan. Elizabeth rubbed her back and handed her a glass of water. She looked at her watch it was 8:15. Ali and Henry were cuddled up sleeping when Ali woke up out of her sleep and started crying, Elizabeth grabbed the trashcan just in time as Ali started puking making Henry jump a little. Henry rubbed her back while she puked when Jason coughed, and Elizabeth grabbed the last trashcan just in time for Jason to puke. "It's going to be a long day babe" Henry looked at Elizabeth exhausted. When all three were done puking. Henry stood up putting Ali down next to Elizabeth and bagged up each of the trashcans and taking the bags outside. He put new bags in gave each of the kids a little Tylenol to help with their fever and picked Ali back up to cuddle back into the couch. They all cuddled back up and fell back asleep
Henry was awoken out of his sleep by Ali crying, he grabbed a trash can and held it up for her. She puked it was only water as everything else had been emptied out of her tummy. He gave her another drink of water and checked the clock it was 11:30. Henry got up and set Ali down on the couch to take the trash out when Jason started coughing, he grabbed the trashcan and held it for Jason. Elizabeth jumped up out of her sleep. Stevie woke up next and whined that she was hungry which started a chain reaction of all the kids being hungry. Elizabeth put Jason down on the couch and went and made some toast while Henry took out the trash an changed the bags again. They sat down with toast and sprite hoping it would calm the kid's tummies. They all ate slowly and curled back up on the couch it didn't take long for the kids to fall asleep. "Babe" Henry looked at Elizabeth worried he got up and laid Ali down on the couch and ran to the bathroom to puke. "Aww shit seriously" Elizabeth whined mostly to herself. He rinsed out his mouth and went and back to the couch. He picked Ali back up and curled up and fell back asleep. When Elizabeth woke up again it was so she could puke. She didn't have time to make it to the bathroom. She grabbed a trash can and puked making Henry jump outta his sleep. It was 4:30 the good news is the kids had slept for quite a while and hadn't puked. She got up and rinsed out her mouth and changed the trashcan. She heated up some chicken noodle soup and toast for everyone and they ate supper. They curled back up and went to sleep. Elizabeth woke back up at 9 she needed to puke again. She grabbed the trashcan and emptied her tummy again. She noticed that Henry and the kids were gone.
She changed the trashcan and headed up stairs. All the kids were in their beds and Henry was working to make their bed. "Hey babe how ya feeling" Henry asked her while walking over to hug her. "well, I just puked again so there is that" Elizabeth whined. "Well get into bed and I will get you some medicine and some sprite. I am feeling better so I will take care of you" Henry kissed the top of her head. That's one of the Top 10 hottest things about you Henry McCord you take such good care of me. The rest of the night was peaceful everyone slept through the night with no puking.
Sunday morning Ali woke her parents up first "Dad I am starving" she whined. He picked her up and took her downstairs, careful not to wake Elizabeth up. "want to help me make pancakes" Henry ask her "ya Daddy" Ali exclaimed excitedly. They got all the ingredients out when Jason came down the stairs and went and curled up on the couch. "How ya feeling buddy" Henry asked kissing the top of Jason's head. "I am starving dad!" Jason exclaimed. "Ok buddy I am working on it." Henry rubbed Jason's head before heading back into the kitchen. Stevie came down next complaining she was starving also. Henry and Ali worked to make pancakes. Elizabeth came downstairs and kissed Henry. "You in an apron one of the hottest 10 things about you babe"
They sat together and ate breakfast before curling up on the couch afterwards just having another relaxing day. They spent the whole day doing nothing but reading, watching tv and relaxing. Henry and Elizabeth graded some papers, but no one did anything that took much energy. For lunch and supper, they had leftovers. Henry and Elizabeth did bedtime routine together, before crashing into bed themselves. It took a lot of energy not to do anything all day.
It was the beginning of another week and Elizabeth was not looking forward to it. Elizabeth was curious of Ray would still be in the phyc hospital. Henry took the kids to school as Elizabeth had a morning class and an evening class so they wouldn't be able to drive in together.
Elizabeth stopped by her office to drop off her bag and grab some stuff she needed before class. There was a young girl standing by her door waiting for her. "Dr. McCord can I talk to you for a moment?" the young girl asks. Elizabeth was trying to wrack her brain wondering if this young lady was in one of her classes. "you don't know me Ma'am my name is Kelsey I am friends with some of your students who have told me about you" Kelsey responded. "OK what can I do for you Kelsey?" Elizabeth asked, "can we talk in your office?" Kelsey asked Elizabeth. Elizabeth had about 20 minutes before her class started so she invited the young girl in.
Kelsey told her she was a freshman this year and that she had not declared a major, yet she was just taking random classes trying to figure out what she liked, Kelsey sat with her hands in her lap trying to figure out if this was a good idea or not. Kelsey felt the room start to get smaller and started panicking and ran out of her office. Elizabeth tried to stop her, but she was already gone. Elizabeth had to get to class but would investigate more after class.
Elizabeth got to her first class and noticed that Ray was back. He stopped her on her way down making sure to keep his space between them. "Ma'am I just wanted to apologize to you my behavior has been inappropriate" Elizabeth was taken back and surprised. "Thank you for apologizing Ray" Elizabeth told him as she walked to the front of the room. She taught her class and collected their assignments. "Blake can you stay for a second?" Elizabeth asked.
Blake stayed in his seat till everyone was gone. "Is everything ok Ma'am?" Blake asked curious why he was asked to stay. "Do you know a young girl named Kasey she about 5 feet, bright blonde hair, blue eyes?" Elizabeth asked. Blake got incredibly quiet and avoided her eye contact. "why are you asking Ma'am?" Blake questioned. "Well, she came to my office this morning to talk to me but ran out before she told me anything. Blake do you know what she wanted to talk to me about?" Elizabeth eyed Blake he knew better than try to lie to her, but he really didn't want to a part of this. Ma'am I do know what she wants to talk to you about and its exceptionally important, but it is her story to tell. I can try again to get her to talk to you but its her story to tell." Elizabeth sighed she was now even more worried than she was before, but she understood were Blake was coming from.
She had a few hours before her next class, so she walked over to Henry's office and wanted to talk to him about Kasey and about Ray. When she got to his office, she could see Erin Blackshaw in her husband's office the door was slightly cracked and could hear the conversation.
"Henry your wife never has to know" Erin told him
"I am not interested, and you do know I am an Ethics professor, right?" Henry questioned
"you have been married over 15 years things have got to be getting boring we can spice things up, I can do amazing things with tongue" Erin was getting closer to Henry as she was talking.
"you really need to leave; I am not interested at all. I love my wife and we have an amazing sex life even 15 years later thank you" Henry tried moving away from her and ended up in the corner of his office.
"Elizabeth had seen and heard enough. She stormed in his office. "I suggest you listen to what my husband said and leave this office immediately." Elizabeth warned her. Erin jumped back not realizing that Elizabeth had been standing there. Erin went to leave the office when Elizabeth grabbed her arm and whispered to Erin, "If you ever come near my husband again, I will make your life a living hell and make sure you never teach in this state again do you understand me" Erin didn't say anything and walked briskly out of the office. Elizabeth walked over to Henry "are you ok babe" Elizabeth asked him wrapping her arms around his waist. Henry was still in shock but wrapped his arms around Elizabeth and pulled her in closer. Henry checked his watch and pulled away he had to get to class. "babe do you want to meet for lunch?" Henry asks as he was packing up his bag. "ya I will grab us lunch do you want to eat here or in my office" Elizabeth ask "how about we eat out in the Garden" Henry suggested giving her a kiss on her cheek on his way out the door.
Elizabeth grabbed lunch and went to sit out in the Garden waiting for Henry. Kasey came and sat across from her at the picnic table. "Ma'am I need some advice and I know you don't know me, but Blake says I can trust you" What's going on Kasey? I will help how ever I can. Elizabeth used a soft voice tone trying not to scare her away. "If I tell you something can it stay between us until I figure out what to do?" Kasey asks. "yes absolutely" Elizabeth responded she completely believed in a woman's choice no matter what. "Let me text my husband and cancel our lunch and you and I can talk" Elizabeth told her. "I don't want to intrude I can just go Kasey said as she was getting up. "No please I promise its not a big deal at all please sit down he won't mind at all I promise." Elizabeth reassured her. "ok if your sure" Kasey replied back meekly. "I am 100% sure" Elizabeth told her getting out her cell phone to text Henry.

Elizabeth handed Kasey the lunch she got for Henry "here dear eat this and we can talk he didn't mind at all, what's going on" Kasey took a deep breath and told Elizabeth her story. Elizabeth took a deep breath as Kasey finished up her story. She got up and ask Kasey if she could give her a hug. Kasey shook her head yes. "Kasey what happened to you is absolutely not ok and not your fault." Elizabeth tried to reassure her. What ever you decided to do it's your choice. Do you want to talk about different options, or do you know your options?" Elizabeth asks
"Kasey took a deep breath I do know my options, but I am not sure what is the right thing to do. I don't want to cause problems and I don't want rumors spread about me, but I also know if it happened to me then it could be happening to other girls" Kasey started crying "I just don't know what to do I never thought this would happen to me I have always been so careful. Something like this happened to my sister when she was in college, but it was a frat party not at a professor's residence during a student get together"
Elizabeth asked if she could give her another hug and Kasey shook her head yes. "Do you want to tell me who it was?" Kasey shook her head no "not yet, I need to do some more thinking.
"please keep coming to talk to me, do you have a counselor you can talk to? I know a good therapist who can keep her mouth shut if your interested you just let me know but remember what ever you decide it's your choice." Elizabeth hugged Kasey a little tighter before letting her go
"Do you have a card for the therapist? I don't know if I am interested yet but just like to keep my options open. I need to go I have class, but I will come talk to you again thank you for listening" Kasey gave a small smile to Elizabeth as she walked away
Elizabeth had class also it was going to be hard to concentrate her heart was breaking for this young girl. She couldn't believe what had happened and wanted to know who this professor was. She wanted to call her CIA friends and make him disappear. She wanted Henry to hold her and tell her everything would be ok but first she needed to get thru this class. She took a second to text Henry

Elizabeth knew she needed to make sure henry knew she was ok, or he would probably show up at her class. Elizabeth made it thru her class and started to walk back to her office when Blake caught up with her. "did she come talk to you?" Blake asked with a sadness in his eyes. "ya, she promised to keep talking to me. Blake are you really close friends with her? Elizabeth asked. "Yes, Ma'am we have been friends since grade school we came to college together. She is the strongest person I have ever met. She will come out of this on the other side and hopefully take Professor Crisp down in the process." Blake vented not realizing that Kasey hadn't told Elizabeth the name of the professor.
Elizabeth's eyes got super wide as she was trying to figure out where she had heard that name before, she stopped and just stood there looking blankly at Blake with all these thoughts going through her head. Professor Crisp as in Jack Crisp the religion professor that can't be who there talking about. He has been to our house he and Henry go out for beers together. For God's sake he is a religion professor. What a fucking creep maybe I will call one of my CIA buddies this guy needs to disappear. No, this guy needs Justice. Oh god his wife. She had been to there house before to. She was very sweet and was a teacher at one of the local high schools. What would this do to her to their children? Yes, they have 4 children there youngest about Stevie's age there oldest in high school what would it do to them. Would anyone believe her that she was raped by the religion professor. If it were Henry Kasey was accusing, she would never believe her. They are religion professors. Could this really be. She was never a huge fan of Jack, but she didn't know why maybe it was her instincts. She had to help this girl. What could she do though she wasn't supposed to know who it was? Would this cause problems between her and henry would Henry take Jacks side and believe him? They have been friends for quite a few years. "Dr. McCord!... Dr. McCord…." Elizabeth shook her head coming realizing she had been out of it for a minute. "you didn't know who it was did you?" Blake asked meekly sorry he had spilled the beans as it should have been Kasey's choice to relieve who it was.
"Don't worry Blake I will not say anything until she tells me" Elizabeth tried to reassure Blake. Ma'am do you think it changes anything because of who he is?" Blake asks, "Walk with me Blake, I am supposed to be meeting Henry in my office." Elizabeth deflected trying to give herself time to answer his question. They started walking "Ma'am do you think it changes everything? If you do than you need to be upfront with Kasey about it" Blake was frank with her. "Blake here is the thing, it complicates things, but it doesn't change how I feel about the situation at all and I will still help her anyway I can. It might take a little trade craft, but I want to see him face justice. Especially as he is a religion professor, and it gives them a bad name. Elizabeth told Blake her voice was sad this was going to be hard for Kasey and wouldn't be an easy feat, but Elizabeth would stand by her. Blake told her thank you and then headed off to meet up with some of his friends.
When she got into her office Henry was leaning up against the wall outside of her office, "professor mode one of the 10 hottest things about you Professor" Elizabeth teased as she walked up and kissed his cheek. Elizabeth unlocked her door, and they went inside. She shut the door behind them and pushed Henry up against the door pressing her lips against his running her tongue along his lips asking for entrance. He happily obliged kissing her back passionately dueling their tongues he wrapped one hand in her hair and the other on her waist pulling her closer. She put one hand on the nape of his neck and the other on his cheek. She pulled away for air before diving back in. when she pulled back again for air Henry took that moment to speak. There was a knock on the door. Elizabeth pulled away and took a deep breath.
Henry sat down and Elizabeth opened the door. It was Kasey "can we talk for a few minutes Blake told me he accidently told you about professor Crisp and I wanted to talk to you" Kasey spit out before Elizabeth could stop her. Elizabeth stepped out of her office shutting the door behind her. Kasey gave Elizabeth a strange look. "I have someone in my office, and I am assuming this is private." Elizabeth explained. "I am sorry I didn't mean to interrupt" Kasey apologized "its fine it's just my husband its no big deal let me send him away and we can talk ok?" I promise he will be ok with it" Elizabeth explained. "does he know did you tell him?" Kasey asked worried. Elizabeth looked into Kasey's eyes so she knew she was telling the truth; I will not tell anyone anything unless I have your permission. I trust my husband and he might be able to help but everything is your choice do you understand?" Kasey shook her head yes. "I don't really need to take up any more of your time today I just wanted to make sure that you wouldn't be telling anyone about professor crisp until I was ready. I would like to talk to you tomorrow, but I need some time to think. At that moment Henry opened the door and Kasey saw him and her eyes went big. "Kasey is everything ok" henry asked. Kasey ran down the hallway and was gone.
"Babe what was that?" Henry asked confused "How do you know her?" Elizabeth asked Henry. I only met her once at Professor Crisp house when he was having a new student orientation. She was one about 20 students that I met that night. I talked with her and a group of students about Aquinas she seemed really interested. She asked lots of questions she seems super smart. "you were at that party?" Elizabeth questioned him. "ya, I left early but I was there his wife and kids were outta town, so he asks me to help host." Henry was looking at her confused. Elizabeth just shook her head and went back into her office. "Babe what's wrong, what's going on?" Henry asked worried. "I can't tell you yet, I promised but I will tell you eventually" Elizabeth kissed him on his cheek and sat down behind her desk
"So, want to hear about Ray?" Elizabeth asked Henry changing the subject. "What about him?" Henry questioned. So, he stopped me in class today and apologized. He kept his distance though and didn't look at me like I was prey. I think he is on some different medication he seemed more normal today." Elizabeth explained. "that's great babe but please stay visual still ok" Henry pleaded. "I will now come with me I am starving" Elizabeth begged with a coy smile.
They drove to there favorite Diner and enjoyed a nice early supper together. Sitting next to him giving him delicate kisses "you are feeding me Dr. McCord one of the 10 hottest things about you" She told him in between kisses. They finished their supper and Henry dropped her off at the college. "I will see you tonight Mrs. McCord Henry teased kissing her goodbye.
Elizabeth got to her office and Blake was standing there. "Ma'am Kasey is freaked out about Dr. McCord she didn't realize he was your husband, and he was at that party. He didn't do anything of course he left before anything happened, but she is nervous because she knows their friends." "Blake sees if she will come talk to me again tonight after class, I haven't told Henry anything and I won't unless she gives me permission, but I promise when henry finds out what happened he will no longer be friends with him he would never condone this type of behavior." Elizabeth explained to Blake. "I agree ma'am and I will text her maybe we could go out for coffee after class if the other Dr. McCord wouldn't mind." Blake suggested "see if she is interested and I will make it work he won't mind at all" Elizabeth told Blake as they walked to class. She took her phone out to text Henry.

Elizabeth made it through class and Blake informed her that Kasey had agreed to meet so they got in Elizabeth's jeep and drove to the same diner she had visited for supper. Kasey walked in a few minutes later clutching her jacket around her she looked scared and small. She l?" Elizabeth asked her concerned. "He threatened me today, but I can't let him win I just can't" Kasey said as she sat down next to Blake crying. He put her arm around her to comfort her.
"I have a plan if you would like to hear it?" Elizabeth asks Kasey. Kasey just nodded. "so, I used to work for the CIA, and I might still have some contacts there. Elizabeth went on to explain her plan and ask if she could bring Henry in on it as he would be able to be helpful and protect her if anything went wrong. Kasey was nervous but agreed to Elizabeth's plan. She was not going to let him win. They finished their coffee and went through different scenarios to make sure they had all the sides figured out. Elizabeth waited for Kasey to get back in her car and she followed her back to campus and dropped Blake off having him walk her into her dorm.
When Elizabeth got home it was already 11pm and she was exhausted and just wanted to get to sleep. She told him she needed to talk to him but tonight she just wanted to be with him. They made love and fell asleep tangled up together.
The rest of the week went by quickly and they spent the weekend in Pittsburgh with Mary and Patrick. The following week went by with out much incident also.
