The next chapter is up! Enjoy :)
The last month seemed to blur by. Frieza was ready to make his move. Hanna's been ordered to bedrest now for the last several weeks. Which has driven her up the walls. But she knew it was for the health and safety of her baby and herself. She was due to go in for a C-Section in a little under a week. He tried not to leave her alone for long periods of time. That's why he had greatly shortened his last minute training sessions.
Now here he was, standing over her sleeping form. He had just gotten up so he can prepare them to head to Earth. They weren't very far and would be there in about two hours. Hanna's been having a hard time sleeping, due to the extra weight and pressure. So he tries not to wake her. She finally fell asleep a few hours ago. As petite as she was, Hanna carried all in her stomach.
Frieza brushed a few stray hairs off her forehead. He never thought about such decisions in the past. Because he never believed himself to feel for someone other than himself. How ironic it happened to be towards some weak human woman. But if there is anything he has learned about Hanna, is that she wasn't weak at all. She's probably one of the most resilient beings he's ever known. How many other innocent people out there have witnessed even half of what she has and not gone completely insane from it all? That alone proves how strong and capable she really is.
His crimson eyes left her face and trailed down to her swollen stomach. Right there is the other part of his irony, a child with a human...of all beings. Frieza was hesitant at first. For the very first time in during her pregnancy, he slowly but cautiously placed his hand on her protruding belly. It was quite firm but that was about it. Until he felt what seemed like a tiny hand or a fist right beneath his palm. Which made his eyes widen in surprise and astonishment.
It wasn't just feeling the outline of the hand that had him reeling. But the power that came from the tiny being. Sure, he sensed a growing power for sometime now coming from Hanna. But actually feeling it through his touch made the energy signature feel even stronger. Of course this child was his. But it is still a half breed, so he didn't expect it to be this strong. Just another one of the many things he's been wrong about for the last year and a half now.
Frieza held his hand there a little longer, to see if he could feel it move again. The child did move and he felt the outline of two tiny hands in the middle of his palm. 'It must be aware of my presence.' He thought. If he could stay longer he would. But he had to get the ship going to his destination. Before he left, he leaned in and placed a light kiss on the side of Hanna's temple.
Then he left for the Main Room. His mind made up on what he needed to do. His force maybe shocked about his next actions once he rids the Earth of his foes. But they could up and go to hell if they don't like it. It's not like they were doing much better than before anyway. Either that or Frieza finally came to term that his force will never be as good as it was Pre-Namek. But either way, it will still not change the fact that he'd still choose Hanna and their baby.
As he walked in, he saw his two subordinates already there awaiting his instructions. Berryblue and Kikono bowed in greeting.
"Have you set the course yet?" Frieza asks.
"Yes, My Lord. We shall be there in just under two hours." Berryblue replied.
"Good, try not wake Hanna. And please bring her breakfast when she does wake. Most of all, I don't need to remind you that she is on strict orders for bedrest." Frieza informed them, with a hint of warning in his voice.
"Yes, My Lord." The subordinates said simultaneously.
"And you two recall Plan B if such instances occur, Yes?" He asked.
"Yes, but after all the training you've put yourself through. You really believe that that is a possibility at this point?" Berryblue asks.
"It was set, just in case. Nothing more. Besides, I've always liked having a back up plan if the first happens to go up in smoke. Though I intend to come up victorious this time." The tyrant stated.
Frieza occupied his chair in the center of the room, set his sights straight ahead, and started calculating outcomes in his head. He made sure that no matter the outcome, Hanna and their child will have a new life on Earth. Once the baby is safely delivered and both of them are out of danger, he informed Berryblue and Kikono to let them off down on Earth afterwards. Which they agreed to do. They were the only two so far that knew no matter what; he was leaving his empire for good. Even so, they still wouldn't dare go against his orders.
Soon, the familiar bright blue and green hue of Earth came into his view. It was time, he told them to prepare to land. While at the same time, Hanna had just awakened, and Berryblue was on her way to give the human woman breakfast. At this time, she was unaware of the events that were about to occur. Frieza did tell her he was going to let her and their child go back to Earth, once they were born. But he withheld the fact that he was going there for another chaotic round of One on One with Goku and Vegeta.
The doors to Frieza's quarters slid open, allowing Berryblue in. Hanna was leaning up against the pillows with a hand on her protruding stomach. The small blue alien woman came over with the tray and placed it on the bed beside her. She looked from the alien to the doors.
"Where's Frieza?" She asks.
"He currently has business to attend to. He will be by a little later." Berryblue replied.
Hanna would've believed that. But she also had a feeling Berryblue was hiding something, and that something was anything but good. She arched a dark brow in question.
"What kind of business?" She pressed.
"None of your concern. Just focus on yourself right now." His subordinate quipped.
Hanna opened her mouth to say something. But Berryblue turned and was already halfway to the door. She gave the young pregnant woman one last knowing look, before leaving the room. 'He's up to something'. These last few months, Frieza has been like an open book to her. He informed her of a lot of things. Even the not so nice bits of his dealings. What would be the point of hiding this one from her?
She was startled from her thoughts, when she felt the ground make a rumbling sound. A sound she knew well enough to know they have landed somewhere. Hanna looked out the window by the bed and was surprised at what she saw. Snow. The ground was covered in it and there was a very light flurry outside. The kind you would have to squint to see a few small flakes here and there.
It almost looked like that one planet they landed on six months ago. Another one of the few oxygen based planets Frieza told her about. That was a pretty fun stop. There was snow everywhere there. It instantly reminded her of the Antarctic or even the snowy terrains of Russia. He took her there because the planet itself gave him a sense of nostalgia. Telling her it reminded him of his Home World; Arcose. Stating that it was quite cold there with ninety percent of it being covered in snow and ice. From there, he went on to tease her when she slipped and faceplanted in the snow. Which led into a snowball fight; in which he won.
Still, something seemed different this time. Hanna had a feeling that this wasn't that same planet. She got up and moved closer to the window to get a better look. It was a snowy tundra out there that's for sure. But the sky had hues of blue behind its white clouds. A bright sun was trying to peak through, which was a giveaway.
The icy planet they were on months ago; didn't get sunlight. It was always quite dark there with the only source of light coming from the white snow itself. This can only mean one thing; they were back on Earth! She didn't have time to think about what she was going to do. As she went to the closet to grab her heavy parka like jacket.
At the same time, Frieza was preparing to leave the ship. No doubt, Goku and Vegeta were on their way. They probably sensed his high battle power once he entered Earth's atmosphere. He smirked when he honed in on two distinguishable signatures suddenly appeared outside the ship. He opened the hatch on the side of the ship and made his way down onto the snowy surface. Where the two saiyans were waiting for him.
"Well, I must commend you two on impeccable timing. Always nice to see a welcoming committee whenever I come here." Frieza said.
"About time you manned up and showed your face here again. And here we thought you wouldn't heed our little message from the last time you sent two cronies here for the dragon balls." Vegeta retorted.
Frieza's smirk widened.
"Don't worry, as you can see; your patience was not in vain." The tyrant quipped.
"Frieza, you do realize if you keep coming here; eventually you will be back to where you were. In hell. You really want to keep taking that chance?" Goku asked, in warning.
The evil emperor looked over his shoulder back at the ship. With a brisk nod, the ramp retracted and the hatched closed. Moments later, the engines fired up and the ship took to the skies. Unaware that a certain human slipped out another back entrance minutes before.
Hanna ducked behind a snowdrift out of sight. Good thing the clothes she donned were insulated and very warm. The only coldness she felt was on her bare face. She watched as Frieza conversed with these two men who appeared to be human. Just another example that she was in fact back home on Earth. The question is, where the hell have they landed?
Snow seemed to stretch on for miles. Were they in the Arctic or Antarctic? Or possibly even Canada? Hanna didn't have time to ponder the question. When she felt some kind of weird energy radiate from the three of them. Her eyes widened when one of the men shouted and some strange glowing white light surrounded him.
Frieza just chuckled at what he was seeing.
"Honestly, your starting in base form? That's quite a slap to the face, Goku." Frieza stated.
"I thought we were going to work our way up. Clearly you have some power up that your hiding up your sleeve. And you have yet to reveal it. So I can only assume you want to start in slow at your base form as well." Goku countered.
Frieza's smirk never left his face as he replied.
"You are correct in your assumption. Only this time, I won't spend much time in base form like I did the last time. Before when I went 'Golden' for the first time against you in battle. I will go straight to my new form in due time." He promised.
The tyrant powered up and dropped down into a fighting stance. Goku done the same. Vegeta was still a bit pissed he couldn't start off the fight with Frieza. But Goku argued back that he started with Broly last time. So he gets to start this time. Something caught his attention though. He thought he felt another energy signature nearby. But that dissipated when Frieza powered up.
Hanna watched from behind the safety of the drift as Frieza and the other man charged each other. It blew her mind. She hardly saw them move. Before they were on each other, throwing hits that could've past for blurs at best. She already knew the tyrant was fast and strong. But apparently, this human like man had no trouble at all keeping up. The other man present was just standing off to the side with his arms crossed. He was watching the fight as if it were some ordinary street brawl between two normal guys.
Vegeta could only hope, that by the time his Wife gets here; the fight would be over. Why she feels the need to tag along each time, he may never know. They all already happened to be close by to this place when they sensed Frieza. The saiyans left her behind in her yellow flying craft, several miles away. Figures, the tyrant would pick the same area to fight at as they did when they fought against Broly.
At least the good thing about it was they were hundreds of miles away from the nearest civilization. So they wouldn't have to worry about civilian casualties. Though the saiyan prince gives it another hour; two tops. Before Bulma gets here.
Goku and Frieza were swapping combos at a rapid pace. With no outcome of anyone being hit; so far. This parrying back and forth must've lasted several minutes before one of them was able to land a single hit. Goku managed to drive a right hook into Frieza's side. A huff of air left the tyrant. Who retaliated with a back spin kick to the side of Goku's face. He didn't stop there. Frieza fazed in behind the saiyan and sent another kick into his back.
The saiyan flew forward a few yards before coming to a stop. The tyrant charged him and Goku met him halfway. They were trading blows again. Both trying to break through the other's defenses. This carried on for some time until they powered up again and switched to energy attacks. Goku went straight to Super Saiyan God Red Form. While Frieza transformed into his 'Golden' Form. That's when the fight started really heating up.
Goku shoots a ki blast at the arcosian warrior. While Frieza counters with his own ki blast. The blasts meet in the middle and collide. Both warriors pushed more into the blasts trying to force it back at their opponent. Only for it to explode. The shockwaves from the blast hardly fazed the fighters, and soon they were back to trading blows. Even though the two of them were now airborne, the ground still shook from the shockwaves that were coming from both their blows and blasts.
Hanna felt each tremor that shook the Earth beneath her feet. But she couldn't get herself to drag her eyes away from the fight in front of her. She felt a minute amount of discomfort in her lower abdomen but ignored it. She'd been feeling that every now and then for the last few weeks. So she didn't think anything of it. It amazed her how they didn't seem to be getting tired or slowing down, and they been at it now for quite sometime.
Goku builds up energy in his hands, then aims a super kamehamaha at the tyrant. Frieza quickly moves out of the way and fires a full power death bullet at the saiyan. The orange clad warrior fazes out of the way. Only to faze in behind Frieza and slams down a double ax handle to the back of his head. The force of the hit sent the tyrant face first into the snow below.
The snow explodes upwards like powdered clouds, hiding the arcosian warrior from view temporarily. A punishing blaster shoots out of that snowy cloud towards Goku and he barely has time to dodge it. Before Frieza shot out of the cloud towards his opponent. They trade a few more blows again, before the saiyan warrior comes in with a meteor smash attack.
"Enough playing, Frieza. Time to get serious. Show us this new power of yours." Goku said.
Frieza chuckles at his oldest enemy.
"Quite the impatient one aren't we? Fine by me, I can't wait to get started either." He admitted.
Frieza closed his eyes in concentration. After a moment, he starts shouting. His aura flickers and flares around him. It's switching rapidly back and forth between red and gold. This was nothing new. But it did start getting interesting when the aura started to shift to a bright white/blue hue. Another couple shouts later, a bright blinding light exploded from his being. Making Goku shield his eyes from the harsh light.
Even Hanna, who was still behind the drift and quite far away from the pair had to shield her eyes from the blinding light.
When it faded, Goku gasped. Frieza was no longer in his Golden Form. Something else entirely was present instead. A sleek, shiny whitish blue form was in it's place. A smug Frieza was hovering there strong and proud sporting his newest form. One that made the Gold Form pale in comparison.
"Now, shall we recommence with the fight?" The tyrant says, with a hint of arrogance and confidence.
Goku flares up into his Blue Form and squares off against this new powerful version of the evil emperor. They throw a fist at one another. Their knuckles met with force, sending more shockwaves throughout the sky. Now things were getting serious, and a certain someone down below could feel it too.
Hanna can tell the situation has truly escalated. And all she can think of, is finding a way to put a stop to this craziness before things really got out of hand. But how can she reach them when the two warriors were way up there? It was then she heard a rumbling sound from above. Only this rumbling sounded like an engine. She looks up to the source to see some yellow air craft touching down about twenty feet away from her. The hatch door opened and out stepped what appeared to be a woman a few years older than herself, and she seemed to be making her way over to the other man. Who was still watching the fight from the ground.
She felt another twinge in her lower abdomen. This one stronger than the last. It started to make her worry. She'd get these twinges here and there. But this is the fourth one within the last two hours since this fight began. It had Hanna thinking that now maybe the best time to reveal herself to the others nearby. If she were to find herself in trouble, she didn't want to be alone.
Five minutes later, another one hit her. Hanna clutched her stomach in her hands and nearly fell into the drift. It's when she righted herself, that she felt something wet and warm start running down her legs. She gasped, getting really scared now, and she had to reach out to the other people on the ground.
"Goddammit, Woman. It's not safe out here. Frieza is sporting some powerful new form. One that makes his Golden One seem fairly weak. Do us both a favor and get out of here." Vegeta snapped.
Bulma opened her mouth and was about to give him lip. When she caught movement a few yards behind her husband. She squinted her eyes from the glare of the sun and could make out a form stumbling towards them in the snow. Vegeta noticed her looking over his shoulder. He turned around to see what she was looking at. His eyes widened in surprise when he saw the petite form of a woman making her way towards them.
Bulma moved first, then Vegeta. He was quicker to make his way over. Still rearing from the surprise of finding some young woman out in the middle of nowhere. As he got closer he heard her calling out for help. She was clutching her lower stomach, a look of pain was on her face.
"Please, I need help." Hanna said, as they got closer.
She fell to her hands and knees. Only to feel a pair of strong arms haul her back up. Hanna looked up into a pair of coal colored eyes that were looking back at her in question.
"What are you doing out here? It's not safe." Vegeta told her.
Hanna ignored his question.
"Please, you need to stop the fight before things get out of hand." She pleaded.
At the same time, Bulma finally made her way over to the two. She looked the woman up and down, and gasped when she noticed she was pregnant. Bulma also noticed the young woman appeared to be in pain.
"Vegeta, we need to get her out of here. It looks like she may need medical attention. Only problem is, we are hundreds of miles away from the nearest help for her." Bulma said, with worry laced in her voice.
As they talked, the fight between Goku and Frieza was drawing closer to the three remaining people on the ground. With Goku looking a little worse for wear. This new form his enemy sported was definitely a lot tougher, faster, and stronger than his Golden Form could ever be. Which meant that last year of training really did the trick. They were so caught up in the fight, that both fighters hadn't realized how close they drifted towards Hanna, Bulma, and Vegeta. Who were almost directly below them now.
"I hope you have your heavy duty emergency kit on hand. Because it looks like your the one who's going to be delivering." Vegeta said, to his Wife.
"No, I can't I..."
Hanna couldn't finish before she let out a pained yelp. She would've fell had Vegeta not caught her. They didn't realize at the moment, that her painfilled cries had reached the ears of the fighters above. Frieza halted in his tracks when he heard it. Goku stopped too, shortly after. He looked down below and saw Vegeta, Bulma, and some unknown person with them.
Apparently, his foe knew something, because Frieza headed straight for the three down below. Goku tried to meet him half way to stop him. But Frieza was faster in this form. He made it to the group within a couple short minutes.
"No, what, what are you doing here? Your suppose to be on the ship!" Frieza said, to the young woman in question.
"You need to stop this. Your fight was getting out of hand." Hanna said, between pants.
Perspiration was building up on her face and she wasn't looking good. That's when Frieza noticed a blood stain on her crotch that was steadily getting bigger. By now, Hanna could hardly stand up without support. His 'New' Form disappeared and was now back in his true form. He turned to his enemies; who were ironically the only ones that can help him now.
"Please, we must get her to a specialist. She can't have this child naturally. We must go now!" Frieza says, in a slight panic.
The two saiyans looked at their foe like he grew another head, and they would've asked him what the hell was up. When Hanna let out another pained cry and clutched her stomach again. Frieza automatically went to her aide. Hanna took a shaky step towards him. He caught her as she collapsed and picked her up.
"We need to hurry, now!" The tyrant tells them.
They would've hesitated on helping Frieza. If not for the pregnant woman in his arms that clearly needed medical attention. So they gestured for him to follow them to Bulma's air craft. Where he will have some heavy duty explaining to do with Goku and Vegeta on the way. Of course, Frieza's mind was preoccupied with Hanna. More or less, he was scared shitless right now.
Until Next Time ;)
