Chapter 11
Katie POV
Today was our first council meeting and I was extreamly excited. I was actually the first one to get to the council hall (I was an hour early).
Finally everyone was seated, and the meeting was about to begin!
"Alright let's get this thing started!" Suddenly a lightning bolt appeared in Thalia's hand. "Whoa! Where did that come from!" Everyone laughed.
"Now, role call... "Dakota." Everyone waited for second. "Dakota?" We all turned to his throne. Oh, dear gods, it was empty. Where was that idiot!?
The council doors openned, and a slightly dazed Dakota walked in, anx sat down on his throne. "Sorry I'm late..."
Thalia rolled her eyes. "It's fine Dakota, now that everyone's here we can get started. Katie you wanted to start."
"We should get a message out to the demigods in California." I stated.
"Yes, that is a great idea Katie."
I smiled. "Thank you Ethan."
"I think we should have Chiron tell the Camp Halfblood campers about this too. Now that Mr. D's gone they'll almost deffintley throw a party!" Luke suggested, placing his elbowes on his knee's. Wow... I mean he's right, but too soon after your betrayal, buddy!
"I concure Luke." Ethan smirked. Okay, seriously these guys state of mind hasn't changed in the time they've been dead, I mean seriously, come on!
Thalia sighed. "Very good ideas, everyone."
"I like Charizard." Wait, what? Everyone turned to Leo. "What? He's cool!"
"Aye, yai, yai..." Jason face palmed. "We need to stop him from playing anymore Pokémon games." Jason shook his head.
Thalia actually laughed! Really? That's all it took to get her to laugh? Some oddly placed Pokémon humor? Really?
"Alright everyone that concludes today's meeting." She said still laughing, as she stood up. "And Dakota fell asleep. Great. I wonder how much of that he actually heard." She shook her head. "No matter, he really didn't have anything important to do today... I don't think..." And with that she flashed out.
I smirked to myself. I had to go see an old friend. Logan Summers. I had a funny idea, and it was going to be awsome.
A few minutes later I was standing in a therapy office, a forged letter in my hand.
Logan came in and screamed, immedietly pulling a dagger out of his coat.
"Oh, Katie, it's just you, sorry."
"It's alright, Logan. This world isn't safe for demigods, always good to be cautious." He nodded, and slipped his dagger back into his jacket.
"Why-why are you here again." He asked sitting down.
"Letter from Hestia." He nodded and made an 'oh' sign with his mouth.
"So it's true? I've only heard rumors..."
"Yup." I handed him the letter.
He opened it warily. "Uh-huh, yup, okay, ShE WAntS Me To bE tHeIr WhAt?!"
I nodded. "I have to leave now, but good luck with that."
I smiled to myself as I flashed out of the room. This was going to be great fun to watch.
