Chapter 10: After Math

Rose pov

After leaving the bathroom, Scorpius and I went down to the room of requirement as it would be hopeless to go into the great hall again. We stayed in there until we were sure dinner was over. We walked through the halls up to the common room. As soon as re entered the portrait hole I knew something bad was about to happen.

"She's pregnant" I heard Molly say. I saw everyone's shocked expressions. Roxanne saw us. "It's true? Are you really pregnant?" She asked, my family turned round to look at us. I nodded. James and Fred stood up. "What the hell" they both shouted in unison. "It was an accident." I told them. "To right it was" James spat. My eyes filled with tears and I turned and ran up the stairs. Leaving Scorpius with my cousin.

I ran into my dorm and threw my self on my bed, sobbing hysterically. The door clicked open and 7 pairs of feet crept towards my bed. Someone stroked my hair, "Rose" Sophie whispered, "we just want to talk to you" she told me gently. I sat up, wiped the tears off my face and hugged my knees. They were all looking at me sympathetically.

"When did it happen?" Roxanne asked me. "The day before we came back" I told her miserably. "Hey, its ok. It happened but we'll all support you" Emma said. Although she wasn't technically family her and Fred had been together for 4 years so she was as good as family. "I'm going to be an Aunt" Lily squealed excitedly. We all laughed, I was feeling so much better now. "Me to!" Molly and Alice said.

The only one who hadn't said anything was Lucy. "Lucy? What's the matter?" Molly asked her sister. "How could you do something so stupid? You are 15!" She demanded. I stood up shakily and walked over to the chair she was sat and leant down so we were face to face. "I know Luc. Its all I can think about. But I love Scorpius and he loves me. We are going to get through this together." She looked up at me her big brown glistening. "I'm so sorry for what I said!" She cried flinging herself at me. I laughed and hugged her.

Scorpius pov

I watched Rose run up the stairs helplessly, knowing that I couldn't follow her. The girls went after her. Knowing that someone was going to help her comforted me, I just wish it was me. I heard the boys stand up and turned to face them.

James, Fred, Hugo and Louis were slowly walking towards me. Al was sat with his head in his arms and Noah and Frank were sat looking awkward, not knowing what to do. "So, you got our cousin pregnant? Fred said quietly. I nodded "Guys, please" I protested, knowing I was going to get beaten up. "No Scorpius YOU KNOCKED UP MY SISTER!" Hugo shouted, surprising me.

I saw James's fits come at me before it collided with my nose. I slumped down the wall, blood gushing down my face. "No you dont" I heard Albus say. I looked up to see his stood in front of me, stopping any further attacks.

"Al what are you doing" James commanded through gritted teeth. "Looking out for my friend" Al told him bravely. My heart swelled then. My best friend was putting me over his family.

"Al get out the way" Fred said pushing him aside. I put my arms over my face but Fred kicked me instead. Hugo bent down so he was level with me and slapped me hard across the face. I gasped and clutched my face. This meant that only Louis's attack was coming, but his was by far the worse. He kicked my in my area. My eyes screwed up with pain, I pulled the knee's up to my chest. Al bent down next to me, "you ok?" He whispered. I shook my head, unable to talk.

Rose pov

We stayed in the dorm for a while eating honey dukes chocolate and giggling just like we always used to do. "I think we should check on the boys" I told the girls, "I'm worried they might beat up Scorp. Lily and Emma nodded, knowing James and Fred best. I stood up and headed for the door.

When we got down the stairs, what I saw shocked me. Scorp was crumpled by the wall in the foetal position, blood covering his face and shirt. Al was sat next to him, James, Fred, Louis and Hugo were sat ok the sofa heads in hands. Noah and Frank were in the same place they were when we left. "What on earth happened?" I shouted, running over to Scorpius and stroking the hair out if his eyes. "They beat him up" Al told me. "I can see that! Why?!" I asked them, my voice still loud. "Because he got you pregnant" Hugo shouted back.

"You didn't need to beat him up" I told him angrily. "Yes it is" Fred said, "he has to know that what he's done is wrong" he finished. "Excuse me! What does he get all the blame! I was just as much a part of it as Scorpius was! He loves me and I love him! He will be there all the way! We are going to get through this together! Do you understand?" I said, looking each one of them in the eyes. All 4 of them nodded sheepishly. "Come on Scorpius, lets get you cleaned up" I walked over to him. He shook his head, "why?" I asked. "Louis kicked me" He looked in a lot of pain. "Louis!" I shrieked. "He deserved it" he told me.

After I'd managed to get Scorpius of the floor, we walk to the toilets. In the toilets a conjured a flannel and run it under the tap. I gently washed away the blood. His nose was badly bruised. "Wow James really didn't hold back" I told him. He shrugged "it doesn't matter, I probably deserved it" I was shocked. "Don't say that" I scolded.

After getting Scorpius cleaned up we went our separate ways. I headed up to my dorm as it was quite late now. I fell asleep very quickly and slept all the way till morning.

The next morning, I actually felt happy. That was until I remembered what happened last night. My cousins found out and about the pregnancy and the boys beat up Scorpius. I got out of bed and went for a shower, attempting to wash the memories away. I actually made an effort with clothes today, I wasn't having any morning sickness for the first time in ages.

I left the dorm and went down to breakfast with Alice. On the way down down I kept my Fred, James, Louis or Hugo. I didn't see anyone until mid-morning. I walked onto the grounds when Alice left to go to the library, usually I'd go to but I know I wouldn't find the boys there. I saw Hugo and Louis sitting on the banks of the black lake and went to join them. I clear my throat as I approached them and they both looked up. "Hi Rose" Louis said quietly, Hugo said nothing. "Hugo?" I asked, he looked up at me weakly. "I'm sorry Rose" he said, I could tell he was trying not to cry. I opened my arms and he practically fell into them. "Hey, it's going to be ok" I told him gently. "Dad's going to be be so mad" He said, his voice was so small I nearly cried. "I know. But we'll deal with that when it happens" I assured him.

I stayed with them for a while and then walked back up to the castle to find James or Fred. I walked around the castle for an hour until I found them. They were slumped on a bench in a corridor. I approached them gingerly, not knowing how they would react to seeing me. "Hey" I said. They completely ignored me. "Are you ignoring me?" I ran off, tears already streaming down my face.
