Booth walked into the living room to see Christine at the window, "What-cha doing monkey?"
"Watching it snow. I wanna play in it, but it's not sticking…"
"Yeah, we're not going to get enough snow to play in like you want to."
"It's not fair! I wanna build a snowman!"
"We're supposed to get a big snow next week that you can play in. They might even cancel school because of it…"
"I hope so…"
"Get your shoes and coat on you can go ride your bike in the snow."
"Cool."
"Yeah, uncle Jarred and I did it all the time in the winter when we were kids." Christine got her coat and shoes on and went into the kitchen.
"Christine, where are you going?"
"I'm going to ride my bike in the snow. Daddy said I could…"
"Enjoy."
"I wanna ride my bike in the snow too."
"Finish your apple and peanut butter then ask daddy to help you."
"Okay."
"Gracie girl, I'll get your bike out of the garage while you finish your snack."
"Okay daddy."
A half hour later Brennan stood in the driveway taking pictures of Christine riding down the sidewalk while Booth tried to convince Gracie she'd be fine if he let go of her bike.
"Gracie, you'll be fine…"
"No if you let go I'll fall…"
"You won't but I'll hold on. Follow Christine."
"Okay." Gracie started pedaling down the sidewalk after a few minutes Booth let go of Gracie's bike and watched her start catching up to Christine."
"She's doing it, Bones. Nobody needs training wheels anymore…"
"I'm so proud of her. You better catch up to them both before they reach the end of the sidewalk…" Booth grinned at Brennan and started jogging to Gracie.
