As the demon stood before them, everyone grew more and more worried as he surveyed them.

"Why haven't they attacked yet?" asked a soldier.

"Maybe they can't go too far from the miasma, they do need it to live after all, right?" asked another soldier.

"The one with the goat legs is moving," said Yanagida as the new demon moved forward.

"I am the Demon Lord, I have come to this world to rule it!" said the demon in a loud voice that shook the very air itself.

"So he's the leader of all of the demons," said Itami.

"I shall give you two minutes to surrender to me before killing all of you, if you do surrender then you shall have quick and painless deaths," said the Demon Lord.

"Just how long is it going to take?" asked Itami as he looked at Hardy who was chanting.

"David, you had better hurry up and get rid of this miasma," said Itami.

"Damn it, my calculations were off, it's going to take longer than we have," thought David with a worried expression.

"Emroy, please hear me out, do you wish for everyone to die by the hands of these demons?" asked Rory as she looked at the sky. Suddenly, everything around her turned black as a voice echoed out to her.

"I am the God of Darkness, War, Death, Violence, and Insanity; what makes you think I wouldn't accept this, Rory?" asked the voice.

"But if all life dies at once then where will death come from anymore and who will be there to worship you?" asked Rory.

"And without worshipers you can't even call yourself a God," said Rory.

"Your argument has a point to it, but what would you suggest I do?" asked Emroy.

"There's only one way to win this," said Rory.

"Are you sure, you know what will happen to you if it goes wrong," said Emroy.

"I know, but I have no choice but to face my own death if it means there is a chance for everyone else to live," said Rory with a serious expression. Meanwhile, time had run out.

"Looks like you have run out of time," said the Demon Lord.

"Actually, it looks like I'm just in time," said Hardy as she held a bright golden light between her hands.
