Fairy Tale is actually on tour. They're going from one sight to the next and performing great songs and such. They're traveling around the country and it's been a lot of fun. Gajeel beat his drumsticks around the bus as they were on the road.
"Do you have to do that now?" Lucy asked as she read a book. "I'm trying to concentrate and it's a little hard to do."
"I've got to keep it fresh." Gajeel said.
"You actually should keep it down. Levy and Natsu are in the back." Erza said. "I think Natsu is doing some sort of interview over the phone."
"Just Dragneel?" Gajeel said. "Why aren't the rest of us getting interviewed? Aren't we a band? It's not just him."
"Don't tell me you're still jealous that Natsu gets all the attention." Gray said.
"I'm not jealous." Gajeel said, but they all knew it was just denial. Gajeel does seem to get annoyed that all the eyes seem to be on Natsu. "I just think it's stupid that it seems to be all about him. If we're a band, shouldn't we be equals or something?"
"You have a point there, but most people believe that Natsu is the leader." Erza said.
"That moron a leader? Maybe he could lead people to disaster." Gray said.
"You know what, I'm going to change that." Gajeel said as he moved to the back.
"Shouldn't we stop him?" Lucy said.
"Pointless. He's going to do it either way." Gray said. Gajeel went in the back and saw Natsu and Levy over the phone.
"Thank you, Natsu. All of this has been great to hear." The lady over the phone says.
"I'm just being an honest guy." Natsu said.
"We also like to thank you for giving us this interview." Levy said. Gajeel got annoyed with all of this. He beat his sticks on the wall and got their attention. "What are you doing?"
"Letting you know I'm here." Gajeel said.
"Not cool. You're interrupting something here." Natsu said.
"What's going on? Is everything okay?" The lady asked.
"Sorry. It's just our drummer: Gajeel. He just walked in." Natsu said.
"Why is it you're getting the interview?" Gajeel asked. "I'm in the band too. So are the others. Should we at least get asked a question?"
"That does sound fair." The lady said. "Okay, Gajeel. Where do you think the most beautiful girls come from?" Gajeel wasn't expecting that to actually happen. He looked around for something that might help him and saw a small poster of space that Lucy has.
"Uh... Saturn because the girls from there are out of this world." Gajeel said.
"Thank you. I've got to go. Natsu, your fans are going to love this." The lady said and ended the call. She didn't even mention Gajeel in the end. Natsu seems to get all the attention and Gajeel just thinks it isn't fair when he works just as hard as Natsu.

Fairy Tale's Concert
The band made it to their next performance location. They gave off a great performance and the fans were going crazy from hearing their music. Once the concert ended, they made their way to their bus and there was a bunch of crazy fans waiting for them. Gajeel stepped out and said hello to the girls, but the girls screamed when they saw Natsu and Gajeel got annoyed with all of it. As Natsu walked by, One girl grabbed him and actually kissed his cheek. Natsu got free and now Lucy appears to be annoyed.
"Oh man." Natsu said as they got back on the bus and he seemed to be in pain. "I need an ice pack. I think that girl pulled a piece of my hair out when she kissed me." Natsu went in the freezer and grabbed him a pack that he placed on his head.
"Yeah. Boo-hoo." Lucy said, but she didn't seem to really care.
"What's with you?" Natsu asked.
"Nothing." Lucy said.
"So where's our next stop, Levy?" Gray asked.
"Portland. After that, we're heading for Seattle." Levy said.
"Well, let's get going." Natsu said.
"Why? Don't want to keep YOUR adoring fans, waiting?" Gajeel said. Natsu thought Gajeel and Lucy were acting weird, but he didn't get it.
"Did I miss something? Why do those two seem mad?" Natsu said. No one gave him a real answer.
...
Portland
"Let's go, guys." Levy said as they all got off the bus. "We've got some time before the concert. So we're actually going to hold a conference and it will give fans a chance to meet us."
"You mean meet, Natsu?" Gajeel said. "What's the point in doing this? All the attention is going to go to Dragneel?" Gajeel just kept walking and didn't wait for the others.
"What is with him? He's been acting weird lately." Natsu said.
"I think he might be jealous." Levy said. "I guess he just wants some recognition from our fans, but it seems like it's all about you."
"Oh man." Natsu said as he was now starting to get it. "It's not my fault. It's not really a picnic when it feels like your fans want to tear you apart."
"I'm sure it isn't." Levy said. "Still, I'm betting Gajeel would like some of it to come his way. Something that establishes equality or something like that." They want to help Gajeel, but how do you diverge love and attention to him. "Hang on. I think I have an idea." Natsu liked the sound of that. Natsu spotted Lucy getting off the bus, but she still seemed upset. When she looked at him, she just turned her head and went "Hmm" and just kept walking.
"What's with Lucy?" Natsu asked.
"No clue, but let's focus on Gajeel." Levy said. "This might actually hurt." Natsu didn't like the sound of that.

The Conference
The band was going to give their fans a chance to meet and greet them. Before it started, Natsu and Levy snuck off somewhere in private.
"Ow! Ow! That hurts!" Natsu said.
"Sorry, but I don't have any scissors." Levy said. As they were doing whatever it was they were doing, Gajeel came walking by and he heard them. "Got it!"
"Ow..." Natsu said. They both stepped out, but they saw Gajeel and things got a little awkward.
"What were you two just doing?" Gajeel questioned.
"Nothing." Both of them said and just walked away with Gajeel thinking that was very weird. So the conference began with photographers and fans eagerly waiting to meet the band.
"Okay. We're going to start the meet-n-greet. Fans are going to get to meet the band. Let the first three in." They let three girls in and they all seemed happy with Gajeel expecting them to go straight to Gajeel.
"Hi, Gajeel."
"We love you."
"We're so happy to meet you."
"Really?" Gajeel said as he wasn't expecting that.
"Yeah. You're our favorite." Gajeel was liking all this.
"Hear that, Dragneel? They love me." Gajeel said.
"Sure did. Great." Natsu said.
"Yeah. They love me. They think I'm better than you." Gajeel said as he thought he was rubbing it in.
"Whatever you say." Natsu said.
"I can't take this lie anymore!"
"Me either!"
"No. No!" Natsu said.
"We love you, Natsu."
"You're the best."
"You're our real favorite."
"That wasn't part of the deal. I gave you some of my hair so you say all that to Gajeel." Natsu said.
"But it wasn't enough."
"Hold up." Gajeel said as he pulled Natsu to him. "You gave them some of your hair so they do that?! You're giving me pity?! I hate pity!"
"We're really sorry, Gajeel. You are great, but we love Natsu." That put him over the edge.
"I'm going to kill you!" Gajeel said as he attacked Natsu and things just spiraled out of control from there.

The Next Day
Things got out of hand back at Portland. So the band hit the road first thing in the morning and was nearing Seattle. Things with Gajeel have not gotten better. He hasn't even come out from the back of the bus.
"Well that didn't go well." Natsu said.
"Why would people go crazy about having some of your hair?" Gray questioned. "That just seems stupid."
"Fans go crazy over anything if a celebrity owns it or even used it like a used tissue for example." Erza said.
"And Gajeel wants that?" Gray said.
"It is a little crazy." Lucy said.
"I thought that would work, but those girls were just too devoted to Natsu." Levy said.
"It's not like I'm trying for this to happen. Why's Gajeel getting so mad?" Natsu said.
"Why?" Lucy said. "Probably because it's annoying how all these girls reach out to grab you, pull your hair, try to kiss you, and saying they love you. It's just annoying." Lucy said all that with some attitude and it caused the others to stare at her. "For Gajeel, it's what I'm saying."
"Well, he better get his act together." Levy said. "You're suppose to perform in Seattle and we're heading straight for there now."
"Here we are." Erza said as they entered Seattle and they noticed something. "Looks like our fans are greeting us." They all looked and saw their fans out there, but Gray noticed something about the signs.
"Wait. Most of those signs say Gajeel." Gray said. They all took a closer look and saw he was right. "Gajeel! Come here and look at this!" Gajeel stepped out and took a look at what the others were looking at.
"Nice, Dragneel. Once wasn't enough?" Gajeel said.
"You think I did this?" Natsu said. "You think I have enough hair to make this many people do this?" Thsi did seem rather strange. The bus pulled over and they all got off. That was when some fans showed up.
"There he is!" One girl said.
"Here we go." Gajeel said as he was expecting them to go at Natsu.
"It's Gajeel!" The girls went crazy as they all went at him. Gajeel and the others were surprised and Gajeel actually felt the urge to run. Those girls completely ignored Natsu and he got trampled by them. He almost became as flat as a board from that.
"Okay. I feel slightly better." Lucy said.
"I have had my hair pulled, got in a fight, and now stepped on. This just isn't my week." Natsu said.
"What is going on? How come Gajeel has so many fans in Seattle?" Erza questioned.
"Hang on." Lucy said as she got back on the bus and went for her computer with the others following. "Maybe there's something in our fan websites that can tell us something."
"While you're at it, can you get a chiropractor?" Natsu said in his pain.
"Here's something." Lucy said. "A reporter wrote an article where Gajeel claimed that the most beautiful girls come from Seattle because they are out of this world."
"Hey! I was being interviewed by that reporter on the phone!" Natsu said. "But Gjaeel didn't say Seattle, did he?"
"No. He said Saturn." Levy said. "Seattle... Saturn..." She was trying to figure this out and got it from the sound. "She must have thought Gajeel said Seattle instead of Saturn."
"Should we tell him?" Lucy said.
"Not yet. Let's have him enjoy this." Gray said. That is what he's been waiting for. So they Gajeel have his moment in the spotlight. Gajeel has been running around Seattle all day, running from girls and much more. Now he was getting a taste of what Natsu gets and he loved it. It was nice change of pace for him.

The Concert
Gajeel came running in the dressing room and he was all sweaty and out of breath. He leaned against the wall and the others looked at him with amusement.
"There you are!" Levy said. "Where have you been? We go on soon."
"Did you enjoy your day?" Gray taunted.
"Where do they get the energy?" Gajeel said. "I've been running around all day. No wonder celebrities look like they're in great shape. They get their exercise by running from their crazy fans."
"They say love comes in many forms and love knows no bounds or limits." Erza said.
"You going to be able to perform?" Natsu asked.
"Just get me an energy drink and I'll be fine." Gajeel said. Natsu came over with one and Gajeel took it as he had some of it.
"So does this mean you and I are good?" Natsu said.
"Yeah, man." Gajeel said. "It was a nice change of pace. It's just annoying how everyone seems to have their eyes on you."
"Don't worry. You've got some fans out there and now it looks like you've got plenty here in town." Natsu said. "I get you want to be me, but I think the song we're going to perform will have you think otherwise."
"I didn't say that exactly." Gajeel said. Now that Gajeel and Natsu are on good terms again, the band went on stage for the performance. This new song of theirs sounds rocking and is about how you don't need to be someone else to be special.

They went out with a big finish and the crowd was going wild. Gajeel got a taste of the sweet life and the band is back on track. Let's just hope their next set of fans doesn't try to tear them apart.
