Chapter 13: Say What?

Hiro was going to tell Aunt Cass about what he was about to do, but he couldn't find it in his heart to put that kind of strain on her. He left the café without saying goodbye, which, by the end of the day, was an extremely bad idea, especially after what was fixing to happen. Little did any of them know, he wouldn't be home again for over a year after that day…

Hiro ran into Karmi at the entrance of the base, she was now able to go back and forth from it without having someone bring her there. They walked into it together, but they ran into an argument between Fred and GoGo.

"I don't care if it's convenient, you don't go and do that!" GoGo shouted at Fred.

"Well excuse me for trying to think outside the box!" Fred yelled back at her.

"What is going on?" Hiro and Karmi asked at the same time.

"Fred decided to—" GoGo got cut off by Basemax.

"There is a new alert for a police chase," the computer stated.

"Never mind, we'll continue this later," Hiro said before he motioned for everyone to suit up. Karmi did too.

"Let's see how well you can do things now that you've had some proper training," Wasabi said to Karmi before they headed out.

"I can't wait to test out this new gear!" Karmi said as she left the building with Hiro. She was wearing a green and red dress that had a short skirt and gloves and had an augmented reality mask to help her with combat strategy and routes. Hiro had altered the design from the one he had made for Sora, but he thought that Karmi looked pretty cool in her new outfit.

At least it's better than that replica of my suit that she had. I wonder who made it though… Hiro thought to himself as he helped Baymax navigate the skies above the city.

I didn't want to get rid of scarlet's suit, but the one has made me is much better than hers. Oh dear, I hope she doesn't get mad at me for thinking that… Karmi thought to herself as joined in the police chase.

1 hour later…

"Whew! I'm glad that's over!" Fred said as they entered the base. Honey Lemon had joined in later on in the car chase.

The group then got a message from Chief Cruz on the big screen, asking for Hiro to come to the precinct and help him with something. He was very specific to not come in his hero suit though, which confused the group.

After Hiro got to the precinct (having changed of course), he was shocked to see the person sitting next to Chief Cruz in his office.

"Scarlet?" Hiro said in shock. He hadn't seen her since Tadashi's funeral.

"What are you doing here? I thought that you had left San Fransokyo," He spoke in complete confusion.

"No, I did leave, I just came back to see you. How's Miss Cass doing now days?" the woman dressed in red, which Hiro identified as Scarlet, spoke.

"Oh, she's fine, but why would you want to see me?"

"I know what you've been doing. Seriously, how on earth do you think you've gotten so far with this gig," she said as she held up a picture of his alter ego, Captain Cutie.

"Oh, and you need a better name than that stupid one Karmi gave you. I chewed her out on that one for you."

"Wait, you've been.."

"Promoting you guys since the start. I just can't stand seeing you the way you were when Tadashi died, and I thought that since you were happy when you started this gig, I might as well help you out a bit. I owe that to Tadashi at least."

"Oh, wow. Anyway, what did you want to see me about?"

"Oh, I want to help you with finding that flash drive of yours. Someone that I used to work with stole it. She goes by the name of Skull in the villain world, but we know her by Titania."

"Wait, say what? Why would Titania of all people steal my flash drive?"

"You know her, she's all about having power. I guess she just wants it so bad that she's now willing to innocent people to get it."

"Okay, so what do we do now?"

"Well, first of all, we're going to get you guys' some new names."
