Wishing you a very merry Christmas

Chapter 11th

Once the flyer had landed into the out cropping some 1000 feet from the compound for where the hostages were being held. There job was to scout the area and how many terrorists were holding the doctors inside.

Captain Lee Crane on his stomach with the special glasses was watching Colonel Reeves with his small team of marines heading in to get a closer look of the area.

Captain Lee Crane ordered Kowalski to move in closer as well with his rifle ready to be used. He watched Colonel Reeves sneak inside with the marines to search for the hostages and saw them into the courtyard exercising. One of the marines told the Colonel that he's able to see at least 15 of the hostages with only Doctor Ben Wilson and Doctor Aurial Huri no doubt inside their hut.

They needed to move back to report back to Captain Lee Crane watching...Moments later he seen the Colonel, Kowalski and the marines head back out slowly with out having been seen.

"Did you see anything Colonel?" Lee asked Reeves with the question...

"There were at least eight to ten of the soldiers watching the hostages. I had counted 15 hostages while noticing that two of the doctors were elsewhere. Captain this is not a good situation while the rest of the marines are moving in closer."

"I understand that Colonel. It was our job at first to scope it out and find out where the hostages were located. Your marines needs to be doing there job with moving in and with getting the hostages out. We will wait it out here now until we know for sure to help with transporting the doctors back to the Seaview."

Meanwhile the marines with the other Seaview crewmembers moved in coming from the beach. They were speaking with the radioman with orders to hold position from Captain Lee Crane and Colonel Reeves. However it was five minutes later that the orders came down to head on in to try and surprise them with the smoke bombs and other essentials.

Captain Lee Crane, Kowalski, Reeves and the four marines moved in...There was a whirlwind of activity inside the compound. Hussah Beirut and Samuels BaCook heard the guards firing inside the compound wondering what was going on...

All of the marines ran in firing their weapons at the two terrorists telling them to stand down with their movements. While others didn't bother to stop firing their weapons with the hostages heading for the deck to protect themselves from the fire fight and the smoke making them choke. Meanwhile Doctors Wilson and Huri heard the commotion when Crane and Reeves found the two main doctors breaking inside asking on whether they were alright.

"Are you kidding? We're fine. We have been figuring how we were going to get out of here before those terrorists were going to kill us." Doctor Wilson had to say...

"Were they able to get any type of Intel out of you nor the other hostages?" Lee had to asked with needing to know in regard to their knowledge about nuclear medicine and other atomic formulas.

"Neither Captain. They didn't have the equipment to do it here. Since they were awaiting word on when we will be getting moved to another location." Doctor Wilson will make mention with Colonel Reeves helping them move out of the hut with his rifle as with Kowalski. When all of a sudden a shot is fired from another location for where Kowalski was hit in his shoulder with Colonel Reeves running out with his marines to search for the sniper...

However the sniper was long range when Colonel Reeves as well was hit in the right leg falling to the ground. However the firing had stopped and with Captain Crane helping with Kowalski and Reeves to get them the medical treatment with getting them back to the Seaview.

Lee turned to Patterson ordering him to fly back the flyer with Reeves, Kowalski and the two doctors to head back to the submarine and with dropping them off. While the rest of the hostages will be going into the three flying subs with taking a trip down to the beach and the rowboats to the flying subs.

Meanwhile Captain Lee Crane and two other Seaview crewmembers will stay on the island to comb the area for the sniper. Colonel James Reeves didn't wish to go onto the flyer and back to the submarine. He wanted to stay behind with his leg.

"You're going back to the Seaview now Colonel Reeves and have that leg taken care off. However I am going to try and locate that sniper on whether this is going to be the last thing I do." He said with his strange cryptic tone of voice as if he was going to die to prove to his wife Rosemarie that he still does love her...

"You're crazy Captain. However I will head back and I will be back when this is taken care of by your doctors. I don't think that Admiral Nelson isn't going to like the idea of you searching for the sniper."

"Patterson get moving already with these two and the doctors. I don't wish to hear anything further from Colonel Reeves." Lee said harshly with his demeanor.

"Aye sir." Patterson said with moving off towards the flyer with the two wounded and the two doctors with crewmember Ron Hanson to help with the co piloting next to him.

Meanwhile Crane drinking some water from the water bottle. He was angry that this situation came to this point and with him to search for the sniper. After resting for a few moments and his protein bar. He was now ready as with the other three. Neither of these three were all that long with the Seaview and the Institute.

It was there job to make sure that the Captain comes back alive on whether or not they are able to find the sniper.

After a few moments searching the exact area. It would seem that the sniper was leaving breadcrumbs as a trail to look for him.

Captain Lee Crane didn't like this idea of the sniper being smart enough to leave the trail. Even the other crewmembers had a feeling that this was some sort of a trap...
