Chapter 14 Asgard
It's been about a month since Sean went back to his home in Sparta and collected his family fortune to Republic City. And now Sean was finally fully recovered much to Korra's relief. The two had also gotten even closer since his last fight as she spent a couple days close to him as he recovered before he was allowed off the island for them to go into the city.
Now however they decided to bring everyone for a vacation to Asgard since Sean was close with the Norse Gods...Save one for a certain reason.
"I know much about the Greek Gods after it was once more revealed they created these lands but Asgard I'm afraid I know very little." Tenzin said rubbing his beard.
"Oh Asgard is pretty impressive. Most of the warriors can get out of hand but other than that they make good company." Sean said.
"Though you will find Midgard is very different to the rest of the world." Reznov said. (In this story Midgard is the part of Earth where the Norse Gods control)
"Now then." Sean said pulling out the travel stone.
"Please don't let us fall on our backs again." Bolin begged making him chuckle before it glowed.
"OW!" Reznov yelled as he landed upside down on his head making Sean chuckle.
"I couldn't resist." Sean said as they appeared by the shores with a few boats.
"This is Asgard?" Tonraq asked as he and his wife were present.
"No this is Midgard. We need to head to the Bifrost." Reznov said before Sean summoned the blade of Artemis.
"Uh just a bit of warning your about to see something that makes all the enemies of every past Avatar combined look like child's play." Sean said making Korra scoff.
"Yeah right." Korra said.
"Oh no he's serious this makes Amon look like a speck of dust." Reznov said before Sean tossed his blade into the lake.
"What'd you do that for?" Mako asked.
"Wait for it." Sean said as something big started coming out the lake.
"Uh Sean?" Korra asked concerned.
"Just relax." Sean said before a large pair of eyes was seen coming out.
"What...Is...This?" Tenzin asked in shock seeing an extremely large serpent like creature before Sean's blade came out of his mouth before landing in front of him as he picked it up.
"WHAT IS THAT!" Asami yelled in shock hiding behind Mako.
"Relax. He's no threat." Sean said as it began to speak in an unknown language.
"It talks!" Korra asked.
"In an obscure language older than These mountains." Sean said before it laid on the land.
"WHAT WAS THAT!" Bolin asked trembling making Sean, Reznov, Julia and Turok burst out laughing.
"That was the world Serpent and believe me he is that large." Reznov said.
"You mean that thing is wrapped around the entire world?" Korra asked in shock.
"Yup." Sean said grinning.
"Why would you wake that thing up?" Mako asked.
"To get to that." Turok said showing a temple that was revealed when the water level dropped when it rose.
"Oh I get it. The temple was hidden because of the serpent." Jinora said.
"Yeah. And now that it's uncovered we can get to the Bifrost in the temple and head to Asgard." Sean said as they got in the boats before heading to the temple.
"So how do you know the Gods of Asgard anyway?" Korra asked.
"I told you I traveled the world to help heal the wounds of my past. Midgard was the first part of the world I came to when I took a break from my training from the gods of Olympus. Thats when I met Reznov. He actually started a fight with me trying to prove himself better than his brothers. But I spared him and we became friends before he invited me to Asgard where they learned my story. Most respected me for turning away from that dark path especially Odin since not many are capable of that." Sean said.
"And what's Odin like?" Korra asked.
"Well, he's wise but he could be pretty cruel before I met him. You see he's always had a thing out against the Giants in Midgard. You see they have wisdom that surpasses his own and the gift of prophecy. But after telling him my story he began to see the errors of his ways and began to change along with most in Asgard. Save for two certain idiots you should know." Sean said.
"Magni and Modi?" Korra asked remembering them.
"Ay. I very much doubt Thor cares those two are dead. Disappointed sure but he always had more faith in Reznov since his powers surpassed them combined." Sean said as they docked with the temple before walking up the stairs.
"What is this temple?" Tenzin asked.
"Ah this is my uncle Tyr's temple. The God of War." Reznov said.
"Wait theres more than one God of War?" Korra asked concerned.
"Unlike with Ares though Tyr is a god of war who brings peace instead of war. Believed in the power of the mind not brute strength. Regretfully he died from a vengeful Vanir god. Normally the Vanir are peaceful and don't believe in violence but because of the long war between the two well..." Sean trailed off.
"Shit happens." Reznov finished.
"Ouch. I would have liked the to meet him." Korra said.
"So would I. But can't dwell on what could have been. The only thing that matters is here and now." Sean said opening the temple before they heard what sounded like tools.
"Oh no." Reznov said annoyed seeing two dwarfs. One being blue and the other white.
"What the? Kruger?" The Blue one asked.
"Hey Brok, Sindri." Sean said seeing the famous brothers who crafted Thor's hammer.
"Can we not talk to the Huldra brothers?" Reznov asked as he wanted to get as far away from the dwarfs as possible.
"Nice to see you too, asshole. Anyway Kid I we got something for ya." Brok said before tossing him an axe.
"Ooh." Sean said inspecting it. "Whats it called?"
"It's called the Leviathan Axe. It's an Ice axe that rivals Thor's hammer. Treat her well." Sindri said. (The Axe Kratos had with all the upgrades)
"Thank you." Sean said placing it on his back before they resumed their walk inside.
"Who were they?" Korra asked.
"Dwarves. They crafted my father's hammer. Their rather famous for that." Reznov said.
"But didn't you call them the Huldra brothers?" Jinora asked.
"Ay." Reznov said.
"Aren't those supposed to be sprites?" Jinora asked.
"Ay. Beautiful, seductive sprites of the forest." Reznov said.
"So why did you call them that?" Jinora asked making him stop seeing his fuck up making Sean, Julia and Turok snort in laughter.
"What?" Korra asked before Sean whispered in her ear before she started snickering.
"Oh...Well...I now realize this would be a wholly inappropriate story for young and innocent ears and your mother would kill me if I told you." Reznov said making Sean and Korra burst out laughing. (BAHAHAHAHA! laughed my ass off when Mimir nearly told the story in the game)
"You fucking idiot! I thought only Aphrodite would be stupid enough to tell a story like that to kids." Sean said laughing.
"Whatever." Reznov said before walking to the center.
"Whats with all the doors?" Asami asked.
"The nine realms that exist with Midgard. You'll find that most of these realms are similar or different to Midgard in many ways." Reznov said before slamming something glowing in the center before a light hit a red crystal.
When it stopped Sean and his group went the way they came in.
"Where are you going? I thought we were going to Asgard." Mako said.
"We're here." Sean said shocking them.
"But we just came that way." Tenzin said.
"Did we?" Sean asked amused before they walked out and most gasped seeing the realm of Asgard in front of them.
"Oh wow." Asami said in awe seeing the golden palace.
"Welcome to Asgard." Sean said holding Korra close making her smile.
"It's beautiful. Best vacation spot you ever picked." Korra said grinning.
"Well I could think of one better. A little private island." Sean said making her giggle before they walked the roads to the palace.
However they found their path blocked by a man with white skin brown hair with a beard in dreads and had strange Tattoos on his body before Sean approached him.
"You guys are a long way from home. I'm gonna have to ask you to leave."
"I think we're going that way." Sean said pointing to the palace.
"Is that so?"
"Best get out the way." Sean said.
"Make me."
Everyone started to tense up a little before the two started laughing before getting into an arm lock.
"Nice to see you again Kid."
"Long time no see Baldur." Sean said.
"Hey Uncle." Reznov said approaching him.
"Finally come back home Reznov? I almost thought my favorite Nephew would stay away for good." Baldur said.
"Oh please I'm your only nephew now." Reznov said.
"Even then you still were. Who are your friends?" Baldur asked.
"From the lands my father created. Lets just say things have been getting hectic and I needed a vacation. So I decided to show them Asgard...Please tell me she isn't here?" Sean almost begged making Korra raise an eyebrow making him chuckle.
"I think she's gone for now so your safe. Come on. Knowing the old man he'll be happy to see you again." Baldur said leading them to the palace before Korra dashed to Sean with a grin.
"Is there something you wanna tell me?" Korra asked.
"It's not like that. I'm referring to someone who hates my guts." Sean said making her frown.
"Because of your past?" Korra asked.
"Uh no. It has nothing to do with that but she uses that against me and mocks me every chance she gets." Sean said.
"Oh so she's a bully. I'll take care of her." Korra said cracking her knuckles with a grin.
"Uh no she's not that either...Well actually I guess she is. But it's complicated." Sean said.
"Then uncomplicate it. Whats the deal?" Korra asked before they entered the palace.
"I'll tell you later." Sean said as they entered the halls of the palace where every Asgard warrior was drinking and eating.
"Ah home sweet home." Reznov said before his hammer flew out of his belt. "HEY!" Reznov yelled before it landed in his father's hand who chuckled.
"Hello son." Thor said.
"Hey dad." Reznov said walking to him.
"It is good to see you again Kruger." Thor said.
"Likewise. I'm mostly here because I needed a vacation away from nonsense thats been happening since Amon was killed." Sean said.
"We've heard. Killing your grandfather Cronos. Your making a bigger legend for yourself than you did during in the past 300 years." Thor said.
"Oh really? What kind of legends were those?" Korra asked grinning.
"This your girlfriend?" Baldur asked making her nod with a smirk. "Nice pick." Baldur whispered.
"Shut up!" Sean yelled pushing him away making her giggle.
Soon enough everyone was seated at a table.
"So Thor I can understand being on good terms with since he's Reznov's father. But what about Baldur? You two seem real close." Korra asked.
"Oh thats easy to explain. You see Baldur had this Curse on him that made him not feel or smell nothing." Sean said.
"Wait like nothing at all?" Mako asked.
"Ay. He couldn't taste, Feel or anything when it came to the body. Or feel pain or die because of this curse. It virtually drove him mad. He's had it for thousands of years. Than I came about 50 years after the day at the temple. Told me the story and I looked into the spell. It was Vanir in nature so I studied it for a couple weeks until I found the cure." Sean said making Korra smile.
"Oh yeah? What was it some counter spell?" Korra asked.
"Nothing of the sort. It was mistletoe." Sean said shocking them.
"Thats it!" Bolin asked dumbfounded.
"Vanir magic is slippery and elusive. It makes sense if your a witch or sorcerer. Fortunately I'm a good study when it comes to magic in general." Sean said.
"And thats why you two are close." Tenzin said.
"Exactly. Though...The only person who's not happy is the one who put the curse on him in the first place who called it a gift." Sean said scratching his head.
"Who calls a curse like that a gift?" Asami asked.
"Well..." Sean tried to say before vines wrapped around him before slamming him into the wall making him grunt in surprise. "Oh fuck." Sean said.
"YOU!"
Everyone turned and saw a woman glaring at him in clear hatred.
"Hello Freya." Sean said sighing. "Let me down already." Sean said.
"Oh no. I'm going to kill you plain and simple for what you have done!" Freya yelled before the vines were blasted by Odin letting Sean go who landed on his feet.
"ENOUGH!" Odin roared making them stop. "Freya that is enough. Kruger and his friends are guests here in Asgard. And you will stay away from them!" Odin ordered.
"NO! This bastard needs to pay!" Freya yelled.
"Why don't you just go suck Thamur's cock! Probably would fit in that big mouth of yours!" Sean yelled making most in Asgard laugh while she growled. (Incase some don't know who that is thats the huge dead giant you she uses in the final boss fight)
"ENOUGH!" Odin roared stopping them. "Freya this is an order. Leave them be." Odin said making her glare.
"This isn't over." Freya said.
"Oh I'm shaking in the chains around my wrests. Piss off." Sean said as she left. "Fucking bitch." Sean said sitting back down.
"I'm gonna assume thats the woman you were talking about." Korra said.
"Yup. That was Freya. Needless to say she hates my guts. But thats a story for another time." Sean said.
Next morning
Sean woke up with a groan as he looked around his room of Asgard before seeing Korra next to him in her underwear with a content smile on her face making him smile back before kissing her forehead making her giggle as she woke up before laying on his chest.
"Good morning." Korra said before kissing him.
"Oh this is a good way to wake up every day." Sean said making her giggle before placing her hand on the shoulder strap of her bra.
"I could always make it even better." Korra teased making him chuckle before pulling her into another kiss making her moan.
Suddenly someone knocked on the door loudly.
"You two aren't doing anything inappropriate in there are you?" Tonraq asked making Korra freeze while Sean sighed.
"Uh...No dad...We're just..." Korra trailed off.
"Go away Loki." Sean said confusing her before they heard the chuckles of someone else as Sean got dressed before heading to the door before opening it seeing a man grinning at him. (The only good version I can think of is his marvel version since I ain't using his God of war version since I have plans for him)
"Am I that obvious?" Loki asked.
"No shit. Begone." Sean said slamming the door and locked it making him chuckle before walking away.
"Who the hell was that? And why did he sound like my father?" Korra asked confused.
"Thats Loki. The God Of Mischief and Thor's brother. He's a royal pain in the ass." Sean said.
"Like your brother?" Korra asked amused.
"Who do you think he got it from? First time I brought him here 75 years ago Loki corrupted his mind. Now he sees himself as a comedian. Fucking asshole." Sean said making her giggle before she got dressed.
"So? Whats our big plans for today? I assume our vacation isn't just spending the whole time is Asgard." Korra said.
"Actually theres something else I need to do before that can actually get started." Sean said confusing her before he opened up a cabinet before pulling out some bag with Norse runes on it.
"Whats that?" Korra asked.
"The ashes of my family." Sean said surprising her. "I swore if I was ever ready to let go of my past I would scatter them in Jötunheim the Realm of the Giants. Doing it there is said to bring anyone at peace." Sean said making her smile before holding him.
"I'm coming with then." Korra said.
"Well, duh. Of course I can't use the Bifrost. Theres no travel crystal since while relations with the Giants and Asgard have improved theres still bad blood between the two. Fortunately there are loopholes in which I can use to get there." Sean said before they left the room.
Walking to the courts Sean saw Odin talking to his advisor Mimir.
"Odin." Sean said approaching him.
"Ah Kruger. Something you need?" Odin asked.
"Yeah I need to borrow Mimir's head." Sean said taking out his new axe.
"Oh no. Not again." Mimir said before Sean sliced it off before it fell off. "Bullocks." Mimir said making most laugh.
"Wait...He can live without his body?" Korra asked amused.
"A little gift incase me or Reznov need him and can't afford to have his body slow us down." Sean said attaching his head to his waist.
"Whats this even about?" Mimir asked before spotting the bag. "Oh. Your finally doing it aren't you. You lass have a great impact on him." Mimir said to Korra who smirked.
"Tell me something I don't know." Korra said making Sean chuckle before getting serious.
"Keep Freya away from me while I'm in Midgard. She has to obey you while in Asgard but down there is another story." Sean said making him sigh.
"I can only try. You know how she is since you removed Baldur's curse." Odin said as the three left.
Entering the temple again Sean activated the Bifrost to Midgard.
"So why does Freya hate you so much?" Korra asked.
"You remember that curse that Baldur had? Who do you think gave it to him?" Sean asked.
"Her? Why?" Korra asked.
"It's...Complicated. On one hand I understand why she did it on the other she shouldn't have forced it on him. She even knew how to break it but refused to do so despite how much Baldur begged her." Sean said. (Which is true)
"But if she knew why didn't she end it?" Korra asked.
"Like the lad said it's complicated." Mimir said.
Heading outside they saw a mist covering the temple before they got into a boat.
"So where exactly are we going?" Korra asked.
"Well, we need two things in order to get to the realm of the Giants. First is the Travel rune which I already know. Second we need a magic chisel to carve it into a special gateway. Thankfully I know where one is." Sean said rowing to their destination.
"You seem to know a lot about this place. How long did you stay here?" Korra asked.
"About a decade when I first arrived. I spent some time learning Norse Magic and fighting skills from Thor and Odin. Baldur helped me learn to be a good sensor and tracker. How do you think I always found you in the snow when you were a little girl." Sean asked making her grin.
"Wait how long have you two known each other?" Mimir asked.
"Since I was four years old 13 years ago." Korra said.
"Talk about a long wait for a legal relationship." Mimir said making them chuckle before they arrived at a dead giant that clearly outsized Sean's Grandfather Cronos. (I think we can all agree Thamur outsized Every Titan completely)
"WHOA! What is that?" Korra asked in shock.
"Thats Thamur." Sean said before Korra remembered what he said to Freya about sucking his cock before she burst out laughing. "What?" Sean asked amused.
"I remember what you said to Freya." Korra laughed.
"Oh right." Sean said chuckling. "Truthfully I just wanted to shut her up." Sean said as they docked before getting off.
"So what happened here?" Korra asked.
"Well as he no doubt told you the gods and Giants had some bad history with one another. This was Thor's doing. His hammer killed a lot of giants before they began to change. Unfortunately Thamur was killed before hand. And regretfully crushed a small village that was known for worshiping a Vanir God. Thor took credit for that but the real fact is the sweaty blowbag just got lucky." Mimir said making Sean snort at that name.
"Sounds like they were no better than Ares." Korra said.
"In a sense thats true but at least they changed and admitted their mistakes. He on the other hand will never change." Sean said before they came to some ice. "Theres the Chisel." Sean said seeing it in the ice.
"I can get through that no problem." Korra said cracking her knuckles.
"I have a more...Unique idea." Sean said looking at the Giant hammer.
"Uh-oh." Mimir said.
"What are you up to?" Korra asked.
"Uh you might wanna get out the way." Sean said before jumping up to the hammer making her narrow her eyes before widening them.
"Oh no you can't be..." Korra tried to say before Sean loosened it. "YOUR INSANE!" Korra yelled running away.
"YUP!" Sean yelled before the hammer began to fall. "LOOK OUT BELOW!" Sean yelled as the hammer crashed into the ice shattering it before Sean jumped to Korra with a grin as she looked at him in shock.
"Your cracked you know that?" Mimir said.
"Oh come on. Wheres the fun in just using water bending?" Sean asked making her sigh before grinning at him before looking down.
"Well, theres the tip." Korra said.
"Give the man credit. He has a talent for destroying things." Mimir said.
"Remember that, Head." Sean teased making Korra giggle.
"Never leaves my mind." Mimir said as the two jumped down before Sean got the piece he needed.
"Ok so we have the piece nows where's the gateway?" Korra asked.
"At the peak of Midgard. It's actually very beautiful." Sean said before they went back to the temple.
"So there are other giants that size?" Korra asked making him laugh. "Whats so funny?" Korra asked.
"Oh your serious. Not all giants are huge like that. Some are sure but not all. Some are our size and some twice our size and so on. It's mostly just a name." Sean said rowing back to the temple.
"So have you actually met any giants?" Korra asked.
"Sure. Loki is one believe it or not. A frost giant. Odin took pity on him and raised him as his own son. But of all the giants in the Norse lands you want to stay clear to Surtr. He's the first Fire Giant hell bent on destroying Asgard." Sean said.
"And where is he?" Korra asked.
"In the realm of Fire of course." Mimir said before they made it back into the temple before Sean went to a pile of rocks before a door was formed.
"Whoa." Korra said impressed.
"Norse Magic. It never ceases to amaze." Sean said as they went in.
"Okay so why did Freya give that curse to Baldur? Out of love?" Korra asked.
"Ay but not the kind your clearly thinking." Mimir said.
"Like I said it's complicated and not my business to say why. If you want an explanation you'll have to ask Baldur." Sean said before another door appeared before they went through.
Coming out on the other side they were at the peak of Midgard.
"It's beautiful up here." Korra said in awe seeing the lands.
"Yeah. Part of the reason I stayed for over a decade. But eventually I moved on and found you." Sean said making her smile before kissing him.
"Oh get a room." Mimir said.
"Oh we will when we get back." Korra said making Sean chuckle before walking to the gateway before carving the rune for Jötunheim before it glowed before the realm was seen for them.
"Beautiful isn't it? Why I remember once...BROTHER LOOK OUT!" Mimir yelled as Freya charged at Sean forcing him into the gateway stone before grabbing a rock and stabbed him in the side making him growl.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Sean roared.
"Making you suffer!" Freya yelled using her vines on Korra who yelled as she fell forward.
"Freya this is nonsense! Odin won't stand..." Mimir tried to say but she kicked him.
"SHUT UP!" Freya yelled before punching Sean in the face several times making him growl. "I am going to make you suffer for meddling in affairs that don't concern you." Freya said before Sean grabbed her before slamming her into the gateway making it crumble apart.
"So much for that way." Sean said holding his side before Freya got up and used her vines to grab Korra.
"LET ME GO!" Korra yelled.
"If I can't kill you I'll just take the one thing you care about most." Freya said jumping off with her.
"KORRA!" Sean yelled jumping after them before landing on Freya's dragon as she strapped Korra down.
"DON'T YOU KNOW WHEN TO GIVE UP!" Freya yelled before they charged at each other before Sean punched her in the face several times.
"I should have let Baldur kill you when I had the chance!" Sean yelled slamming her down hard making her grunt in pain.
"YOU CORRUPTED HIM!" Freya yelled stabbing him in the leg making him growl before kicking her away before rushing to Korra only for Freya to jump on him and tried stabbing him but his armor held before roaring punching her down hard before slamming both his fists on her stomach making her gasp as the air in her lungs was forced out before rushing back to Korra only for Freya to once more attack him.
Korra tried to get free before she fire bent with her foot into Freya's face making her yell before throwing Sean at the wing of her dragon who used his blades to cut the wing making it roar in pain before Sean fell off before landing outside Tyr's temple and groaned before seeing the dragon lose control but saw Freya jump in the temple with Korra making him growl before rushing in with intense speed before knocking down the first door.
"HEY! Whats the rush!" Brok asked.
"SHIELD!" Sean yelled making him throw a shield gauntlet. (Basically the shield Kratos uses in the 2018 game incase some forget)
Bursting through the next room Sean saw Freya trying to stab Korra but he rammed into her hard before slamming her face into the bifrost control and saw it moving.
"Your too late! Any minute now the full weight of the Vanir army will come crashing down on you. It's over!" Freya roared.
"Is it!" Sean yelled throwing her off before looking at the controls. "FUCK IT!" Sean yelled slamming his key down before the bridge activated.
"WHAT DID YOU DO!" Freya yelled before a gate pulled them through before Sean grabbed Korra and shielded her as they crashed hard using the shield Brok gave him.
"Ugh." Sean groaned as he stood before pulling Korra up.
"Ok...I seriously want to go back to having a nice vacation in Asgard even if it's just in the bedroom sleeping." Korra said rubbing her head.
"That makes two of us." Sean said before looking around feeling the deathly cold. "Oh fuck. We're in hel." Sean said shocking her.
"HELL!" Korra yelled in fear.
"Not hell...Hel. One of the nine Realms in the norse territory where dead souls come to." Sean said.
"Oh. Still creepy." Korra said shivering before he held her close to keep her warm.
"Thankfully we're not far from the Bifrost. Lets get out of here." Sean said.
"And with that I cannot argue. Not even Odin would come here willingly." Mimir said before they heard voices.
"Shh." Sean said as they snuck around a wall seeing Freya looking at a memory from 250 years ago with Sean and Baldur and herself.
"You had no right to do this." Freya said.
"And you had the right to do that to your own son? Your more disgusting than Ares." Sean said.
"I'm free now. I can feel, Taste and smell. And you knew how to end it." Baldur said.
"Death can claim you at any time!" Freya yelled.
"I don't care. I would rather die like this than feel nothing Mother!" Baldur said before approaching her. "I wonder how it would feel to kill you after the life you stole from me." Baldur said.
"Don't do it." Sean said.
"She deserves it for what she took from me." Baldur said.
"I'm asking as a friend not to repeat what I did. Be the better man." Sean said.
"Fine." Baldur said.
"Your gonna pay for this." Freya said.
"I already paid for my sins with my family's lives. Now you pay for yours." Sean said as he and Baldur left as she collapsed crying.
"What you took from me! AHHHH!" Freya screamed attacking his ghost before the real Sean and Korra rushed past her without being seen.
"Wait...Freya is his mother?" Korra asked in shock.
"Yup. I understood why she did it since no mother wants to see their child die a pointless death." Sean said as they made it into the Bifrost.
"But you disapprove because he didn't want it after seeing the more negative side effects." Korra said.
"Yeah. And when she found out I ended the spell she was livid. Vowed to kill me but Odin kept her in line. Most of the time anyway." Sean said before they were back in Midgard.
"So now what? Without that gate we can't get into the Giant realm." Korra said.
"I said there was loopholes not a loophole. That was just the easy way. The next one just requires Mimir." Sean said.
"Huh?" Korra asked.
"You see lass my eyes are travel crystals the Bifrost can use. However we need a special rune in order for it to work. Theres one in the...Oh dear." Mimir said as they looked and saw the World serpent eating a statue of Thor.
"NO, NO, NOOOO!" Sean yelled annoyed. "Fucking giant asshole. Thats where the rune was." Sean said annoyed.
"What the hell is he doing?" Korra asked confused.
"He and Thor have some issues during the less honorable days." Sean said before going up to a platform before grabbing Mimir. "Just to let you know Mimir can speak his language but we won't be able to understand it." Sean said placing Mimir to a horn before he blew into it making the Serpent face them before Mimir started speaking in his ancient tongue before he replied. "Well?" Sean asked.
"Uh he said he can't throw it up but he's open to letting you row inside and get what you need." Mimir said.
"WHAT!" Korra yelled in shock.
"Oh god. I'm not ending this now." Sean said.
"Wait so we're really gonna do this?" Korra asked in shock.
"You don't have to come." Sean said making her scoff.
"Oh like I'm gonna skip out on this." Korra said as they got into a boat.
"Oh this brings back bad memories of Cronos." Sean said rowing inside the mouth.
"Ugh. Worst first day of a good vacation." Korra said in disgust.
"Blame Freya." Sean said as the mouth closed.
"So...Where exactly did this thing come from?" Korra asked.
"Don't know. Odin said he just appeared one day and Thor tried to kill him. He always slayed Giants at every turn." Sean said before they came to the statue before Sean jumped up and found the Rune.
"So why do we need the rune if we have the eyes?" Korra asked.
"A safety precaution. Remember I said the Giants were extremely wise. Without the Rune the door won't open for anyone. The gateway will be repaired in a couple weeks at best." Sean said before they rowed to the mouth.
Only for the Serpent to shake violently.
"What was that!" Korra asked before it stopped.
"Well that was mildly terrifying." Mimir said before Sean resumed rowing.
"Think it's us?" Korra asked.
"No...I got a bad feeling." Sean said. (URGH! I hate saying that cause bad things always happen)
Then the beast shook once more.
"Whats happening?" Korra asked.
"Nothing good!" Mimir said before it stopped. "Glad thats over." Mimir said.
"I very much doubt it." Sean said before it shook again. "Hold tight and watch your balance." Sean said.
"NOT GOOD!" Mimir said before the mouth opened up before the two flew out and landed.
Sean growled as he stood up seeing the world serpent collapse.
"Korra?" Sean called out not seeing her. "Korra!" Sean yelled before she appeared out of the snow.
"I'm good. Think I'm getting used to this." Korra said walking to him seeing the serpent. "What happened to him? Something we did?" Korra asked.
"No. Something else did that. Back at the dead giant." Sean said seeing the corpse of Thamur. "Why would the Serpent put us here." Sean asked.
"Uh Sean?" Korra said alarmed making him look before seeing Freya come out of the water.
"You think you can escape me? Nothing can save you from me while in Midgard. You need to pay for what you did!" Freya yelled.
"Oh for the love of. This is ridiculous. So you would rather your son be miserable his whole life than be happy like he is now?" Sean asked.
"I don't need a lecture from a man who willingly killed his entire family." Freya said making him glare harshly for that remark.

"It was not willingly. Ares tricked me. I was a lot of things in those days. But I would never lay a finger on them." Sean said before she vanished and the ground began to shake.
"Uh brother?" Mimir said gaining their attention seeing Thamur standing.
"Oh fuck!" Sean moaned before she tried to crush them but they dodged.
"Has she lost her mind!" Korra yelled.
"Yup." Sean said before Freya appeared again.
"I'll kill you then her and everyone else you brought." Freya said before Sean charged at her before wrapping his chains around her before slamming her into the walls before throwing her into the air as Korra used earth bending to slam into her making her grunt in pain.
"That was a mistake!" Sean yelled before pulling out the Nemean cestus before delivering a barrage of hits to her before she summoned hell walkers on them but Korra used her fire bending to hold them off.
"I'LL KILL YOU!" Freya yelled before flying.
"Better than you have tried!" Sean yelled before jumping into the air and gave her an uppercut before throwing her into a wall making her grunt in pain.
Korra roared as she used water bending to hold most of the Hellwalkers up before slamming them into one another.
Freya roared as she used Thamur to try and crush Sean but he held the hand up before slicing the palm with the Blade of Artemis.
"WHY WON'T YOU DIE!" Freya roared before Sean punched her hard before grabbing her by the neck.
"Because I have someone worth living for." Sean said slamming her down hard.
Korra grunted as her back hit a wall as more and more hellwalkers appeared.
"Hang on!" Sean yelled swinging to her before picking her up.
"What are these things?" Korra asked.
"Hellwalkers. Undead souls that were denied judgment. Freya's fault as well since she's supposed to oversee the Valkyries but slacked off after Baldur's curse was broken." Sean said before they landed on a platform before Thamur looked at them.
"You two can die together!" Freya yelled as Thamur tried to smash them but they jumped out the way.
"I've had enough of this." Sean said using his chains to swing to the head before delivering a deadly blow.
"ARGH!" Freye roared before she pulled out the Chisel and tried to smash them with it.
"DIE!" Freya screamed before they jumped towards a platform in a corner.
"Any last words?" Freya asked.
"I got some! Moooog-Taaaay-Ooooom." Sean said.
"Huh?" Korra asked confused before the world serpent got up. "Nice!" Korra said impressed as it attacked Thamur before the two jumped of the platform as he collapsed and Freya ended up on the ground.

Sean growled before dashing to Freya before strangling her.
"DO IT! Show her the Demon inside you!" Freya yelled making him growl.
"Thats enough." Odin said appearing as did the others.
Sean glared before growling at Freya.
"You come after me or anyone I know again...And I'll fucking kill you!" Sean yelled before punching her in the face making her groan in pain before he walked to Korra.
"You okay?" Korra asked holding his face.
"Yeah...You did good out there." Sean said making her smile before kissing him before she approached Freya.
"I don't know what possessed you to put an inhuman curse on your own son but your no different than Ares." Korra said making her glare.
"You think your happy being with a monster? You have no idea the price you pay being with him." Freya said.
"Thats enough." Tonraq said approaching his daughter along with his wife.
"I am going to make you suffer in ways you would not believe." Freya said making her scoff.
"Like what? Putting the same curse on me. He knows how to break it." Korra said.
"Oh no. I got something much worse in mind. The one thing you want most is a family. Children. I'll make sure they die the second any are born." Freya said making her gasp in shock as her mother held her.
"Freya thats enough!" Thor yelled.
"Every time you have a child I'll make sure..." Freya tried to say but Sean grabbed her in a headlock making her gasp for air.
"That...Was...YOUR...LAST...MISTAKE!" Sean seethed before his Blades pierced her chest in the heart making her gasp in shock as she fell to the ground to bleed out.
Odin sighed shaking his head.
"You are just an animal." Freya sobbed coughing up blood.
"Look who's talking. You can threaten me all you want but THAT! Was over the fucking line!" Sean said pissed off as he held Korra.
"All you do is pass on your cruelty and rage...YOU WILL NEVER CHANGE!" Freya yelled.
"Those days are behind me. I changed. I may have been a monster back then but the last thing Ares made me do. I would never do willingly. Even people like me have limits." Sean said as she tried to say something but coughed up a blob of blood before she died on the ground making him sigh. "I'm sorry Baldur. She didn't give me a choice." Sean said.
"Ah. We all knew this was gonna happen someday. She ran her big mouth and paid the price." Baldur said.
"We should finish this while I still have enough strength." Sean said to Korra.
"Where were you two even going?" Jinora asked.
"To Jötunheim. The realm of the Giants to scatter my family's ashes. To put the past behind me." Sean said.
"Oh! Can we come? Please? Please? Please?" Ikki asked making him raise an eyebrow before looking at Korra who shrugged with a grin.
"Oh what the hell? Fine." Sean said making the kids cheer. "I suppose it only makes more sense for my new family to watch me scatter the remains of the old one." Sean said as Korra held him.
"Yeah." Korra said before they left while Odin saw to Freya's corpse.
Soon enough everyone was back at the Bifrost.
"Ok." Sean said placing the rune on Mimir's head. "Jinora when the Bifrost activates place Mimir's head in the beam." Sean said tossing his head.
"Ok." Jinora said rushing to the door before Sean activated the Bifrost before it hit Mimir's head.
"Ooh! Thats still unpleasant." Mimir said.
"Now!" Sean said before she hit the door before it began to open.
"Jötunheim." Sean said before they walked to the door.
"A word please, before we continue." Mimir said before Sean held his head. "Listen the last thing you need is a decapitated head ruining the moment. This is between you and your new family lad." Mimir said.
"True. But I..." Sean tried to say.
"About damn time." Brok said as he and his brother appeared.
"Oh no." Reznov said.
"Sorry. We had to see this." Sindri said crying silently.
Sean looked at Mimir and grinned who frowned.
"Oh-no, no, no, no, no, no. ARGH! Fine, Damnit, FINE!" Mimir said in defeat.
"Watch the head until we return." Sean said tossing it to Sindri who gasped.
"I can do this...No I can't." Sindri said tossing it to Brok.
"Ok." Brok said before Sean and the others went through the gates. "Boy do I have plans for you." Brok said laughing as the doors closed.
"Do hurry back. Please!" Mimir pleaded.
"Oh that was cruel." Reznov said making Sean chuckle.
"I couldn't help it." Sean said

"Whoa!" Mako said looking down making Sean chuckle.
"They don't call it the realm of the giants for nothing. Everything is big." Sean said before looking at the finger tips he planned to scatter his family's ashes before they went inside some shrine.
"Whats all this?" Korra asked.
"Remember when I said Odin had issues with Giants? This is a shrine to honor those who escaped Midgard during Thor's rampage of every giant he could find. Technically actually he's half giant himself." Sean said.
"He is?" Asami asked.
"Why do you think he's so huge?" Sean joked getting some laughs.
"Oh ha ha ha." Reznov said.
As Jinora walked to a wall she felt something off.
"Jinora don't touch anything." Pema said but she did anyway and the walls started to change.
"Uh guys?" Jinora said surprised before the walls started showing various paintings.
"These are all...Me?" Sean said surprised seeing every event in his life.
"Whoa." Bolin said seeing him fighting the Kraken in one painting while Meelo saw him fighting the Barbarian King when he was young. (Again the Kraken is from Clash of the Titans 2010)
"Wow." Meelo said in awe.
"It's like a history book of everything I ever did." Sean said Looking around.
"How would the Giants know about you when your not Norse?" Asami asked.
"They know almost everything." Reznov said looking at the painting of how they met making him grin.
Korra smiled of the one when she and Sean first met before seeing the one of them becoming lovers.
"Hmm." Sean said.
"Theres more good ones than bad." Korra said seeing all the good things he did after he changed.
"Yeah. I guess so." Sean said.
Tonraq however frowned seeing one hidden behind a tarp showing Sean fighting who was clearly Ares. One of the future no doubt.
'Cronos lied.' Tonraq thought seeing this.
"Come on. Lets get this done." Korra said dragging him outside.

Sean and Korra went to the edge of the mountain before they looked down seeing several Giants before they sat down.
"Ready?" Korra asked making him smile as he held the bag in hand.
"Yes." Sean said before reaching in before he pulled a handful out before letting the wind carry it away before Korra grabbed her own handful.
For the first time in 300 years Sean felt his soul heal as the ashes of his family scattered through out the realm of the Giants to be at peace from the horrors Ares put them in so many years ago.
"Goodbye Mom, Calliope." Sean said saying his final goodbyes as Korra held him enjoying the moment.
"Feel better?" Korra asked making him nod.
"Very. This was well worth the wait. Thank you for helping me." Sean said making her smile before kissing him.
"Come on." Korra said as they walked back to the others.
"You know theres one thing I don't get." Jinora said.
"Oh? And whats that?" Sean asked curious.
"Your name on the wall. It was the same as the family tree but not your name." Jinora said.
"Since when do you read Greek and Norse?" Sean asked making her grin making him scoff in amusement while the others laughed. "What is it?" Sean asked.
"They called you...Achilles?" Jinora asked making him freeze before a smile appeared on his face.
"I have not heard that name in 200 years." Sean said. "That was the name my father picked out for me for when I was born. But my mother named me after someone else." Sean said.
"Why?" Asami asked.
"Hmm. I can tell the story on the way down." Sean said.

"So...why did your mom name you Sean? It doesn't sound like the name for a god...Or Greek for that matter." Jinora said.
"HAH! Hell no. Sean Ashburn was a wandering traveler from a distant land. One who brought joy and dreams to everyone he met. The people of Sparta welcomed him with open arms for this seeing him as a worthy resident. Then one day one of our buildings burned that held children inside. One of which was my mother. He was the first to charge in to save them. With his dying breath he saved my mother at the cost of his own. He was buried with all the honors of Sparta. 10 years later my mother gave birth to me and gave me his name. She wanted to honor his sacrifice." Sean said.
"Thats the most amazing story I have ever heard." Korra said smiling.
"I didn't exactly live up to his image though...Not until after the incident at the temple. After that I changed the lives around me without realizing it until now. His memory was a comfort in dark times for my people." Sean said as Jinora cried making him raise an eyebrow.
"That is so beautiful." Jinora said making most laugh at this.
"Oh lord." Reznov said before Julia hit him upside the head.
"Let her enjoy it." Julia said before they came to the door and found Mimir on the ground.
"Lads am I glad to see you." Mimir said.
"Mimir? What happened to you?" Korra asked.
"I think I've reached my limit for Dwarven charm." Mimir said.
"I think we've reached all our limits for today." Sean said before activating the Bifrost to Asgard. "Now we can actually have a vacation for a change." Sean said.
"Finally." Korra said smiling as she held him close.
"A well deserved one I might add." Mimir said.
Later
Sean and Korra were back in his bedroom with her back in her underwear as he held her close in the moon light.
"I love you." Sean said kissing her forehead making her smile.
"I love you too." Korra said before sleep claimed them both after everything they went through today.
It was well worth it all in their eyes.
Authors Note: And with that Sean's family is at peace and a more probably prediction in his future was seen. And of course Freya is dead thankfully. I always hated her guts when I found out what she did to Baldur. And she knew how to cure him but refused to out of fear. Dumbass. Anyway I have some Sad news.
