At the office, the technician gives the papers to Captain Ham. He hears siren.
"Incoming traveller." said the technician.
"Looks like the survivors, sir." said Captain Ham. "Open the iris."
The billboard opens. Ferrel and his men except Jack exit from the previous mission.
"Where's Jack?" asked Captain Ham.
"I don't think he's with us." said Ferrel.
"Me neither." said Shoutmon.
"I think he's dead." said Alex.
Captain Ham reacts to a presumable death of Jack. At the infirmary, a woman is cold from a mission. Ferrel and Alex are doing blood work and tests. At the briefing room, Captain Ham and Alex are discussing about the loss of Jack.
"I think Jack was killed by a car during a mission." said Alex.
"I think so too." said Shoutmon.
"Listen, Jack might still be in Nagoya." said Captain Ham.
"Alex, what do you think?" asked Shoutmon.
"Jack might be trapped inside Nagoya." replied Alex.
Later at the embarkation room, Ferrel and his men except Jack who was presumably killed from a mission, say goodbye to him. They are presented with a flag. All of the Digimon were summoned and saluted to the loss of Jack, who was stranded inside Nagoya.
"Jack made this place happen. As a member of the survivor, I respect his honor that we lost our comrade." said Ferrel.
"You may rest in peace." said Captain Ham.
Meanwhile, Jack who was still in Nagoya regained consciousness by the purger.
"What are you doing here?" asked Jack.
"I'm here to save your life." replied the purger who is known as Takato, who is now an adult working for the purger.
At the house, Ferrel and his men attend a party. Meicoomon and Impmon are drinking soft drinks while Ferrel eats food. Back at Nagoya, Jack and Takato find a way out. Takato is revealed that he is brainwashed by Pennywise a long time ago.
"So, you must be… Takato, a former tamer." said Jack.
"Correct." said an adult Takato.
Back at the party, Ferrel plays basketball. Frustrated about Jack's loss, he uses the baseball bat to smash the windows.
"Ferrel, what's gotten into you?" asked Captain Ham in his civilian outfit.
"Jack is still in Nagoya." said Ferrel. "And he's with a purger."
"You called Jack?" asked Captain Ham.
"He's alive." said Ferrel. "We need to get him back. But how?"
Meanwhile, Jack and Takato learn the symbol. Jack summons Gaomon and Lalamon to examine the symbols.
"What does that mean?" asked Gaomon.
"I don't know." said Lalamon.
"Look, I can't tell which one is the symbol." said Jack.
At the library, Ferrel and his men are reading a book. Meicoomon and Impmon take turns reading a single book. One book that Meicoomon and Impmon are reading is from Hikaru, Jack's sister who was possessed by Pennywise and killed by the survivors. Alex and Shoutmon are playing Chinese checkers. Miss May examines the fish tank. As she finds the bubbles, she has a vision depicting deaths.
"Meicoomon, Impmon, Miss May is having an image." said Ferrel.
"Ferrel, Jack is still out there!" said Miss May.
At the lab, Ferrel and his men examine the X-ray only to discover the billboard has been activated. It turns out to be a group of soldiers. Ferrel has a migraine.
"You are not going anywhere, to the infirmary." said Captain Ham.
Meanwhile, Jack and Takato find a way out. Takato turns against him.
"You are not leaving here." said Takato.
"I'm afraid that you rescued me a purger." said Jack.
Jack continues the argument. At the briefing room, Ferrel and his men are using a MP3 file to determine Jack's fate. As Alex hears the file, he angrily gets up, but stopped by Shoutmon.
"Snap out of it, now!" said Shoutmon.
"I think Jack is with a purger several hours ago." said Ferrel.
"How do you know about a purger being befriended by Jack?" asked Captain Ham.
"How about going back to Nagoya and get Jack out of here?!" demanded Ferrel.
"I volunteer." said Miss May.
At the infirmary, a psychiatrist is comforting Miss May, taking her back to the scene of the disappearance of Jack. Ferrel and his men through flashbacks are at the beach. The purger who is wearing a scuba gear gets out of the water. His name was Takato, who is a former tamer and now a purger. Takato knocks Ferrel and his men unconscious, losing sight. Miss May was frantically screaming.
"We have to go back for Jack!" yelled Miss May.
"It's OK, man." said Shoutmon. "We are coming for you, Jack."
Meanwhile, Jack is being possessed by Takato. The possession stopped. Jack breaks free and found a window. A window turns out to be an entrance to the water, similar to a billboard. Ferrel and his men point the guns at Jack.
"Come on, it's me! Jack!" yelled Jack.
"Step away from the purger." ordered Shoutmon.
"You have your DigiVice?" asked Ferrel.
"Yes." replied Ferrel.
"Bye, Takato. Thanks for rescuing me." said Jack.
Ferrel and his men are successful in rescuing Jack.
