13. Chapter 41- The Flames of Battle

The Flames of Battle

Entei turned around and slowly started walking back towards the mountain. Suddenly a Charizard flew up the side of the cliff with a living Ash on his back. "Thanks for the save Charizard!" The trainer yelled.

'What?!' Entei shouted in shock and disbelief.

"I may be a little crispy, but you didn't think you could get rid of me that easily, did you?!"

'A Charizard!' Entei roared.

'That's right you big, shaggy bastard,' Charizard roared back. 'You mess with my boy, you mess with me!'

'Then you shall both perish!' Entei roared.

"Charizard, Mega Evolve!" Ash jumped off of Charizard's back and pressed his stone on his mega ring. Charizard was encased in the stone-like substance, and emerged as a black dragon with blue flames coming out of the sides of its mouth and tail.

"Charizard, use Flamethrower!" Charizard did as Ash said and blasted a powerful Flamethrower, which burned bright blue in color at Entei. Entei shot one back and both attacks collided.

"Keep it up Charizard!" Both of the Flamethrowers intensified, until Charizard's overpowered the other one. Entei was hit, but shook it off and continued to battle.

Entei jumped at Charizard and landed on its back. Charizard was then brought down to the ground by the immense weight of the Legendary Pokemon. Entei put a large paw on Charizard's neck. 'Well isn't this a fitting sight. Your neck underneath my claws. It is time to put an end to your little act of bravery!'

"Charizard, Dragon Claw! Quick!"

Charizard's two claws turned green and managed to dig in and puncture Entei's front legs. Entei let out a cry, as it reared its hind legs, freeing Charizard. Charizard flew up into the air and used its signature Blazing Wings attack. Charizard flew low to the ground and struck Entei several times in rapid succession. Once Entei was worn down and panting heavily, Ash called out another attack.

"Charizard," The Aura Guardian yelled. "Use Seismic Toss!"

Charizard shot forward at the legendary Pokemon head on at an immense speed. Entei attempted to protect itself with a Flamethrower, however Charizard pushed through it head on. Grabbing Entei in its arms, it took the two Pokemon high into the air. Charizard began spinning several times, before throwing the Legendary Dog down to the ground from several stories up. Entei crashed onto the ground, leaving a giant crater from the force of the attack.

"This is our chance!" Ash yelled. "Go Ultra Ball!"

Paul was lying in the emergency room, all bandaged up. His Pokemon and his friends sat next to him.

"Oh Paul," Dawn cried next to him.

"Oh Ash," May whispered. "I hope you're alright."

"Doctor!" The nurse said bursting into the room. "A man has just arrived on a Charizard. He appears to be unconscious."
