Day 13: You Tricked Me!
TW: Murder Plans/Plans of Murder
The Krew were in a pretty hard corn maze. Only Draco had escaped, so they were trying to get directions from him over the phone.
"Ok, go le- right and walk until you see the scarecrow."
They followed his instruction, but saw no scarecrow. "Draco, there isn't a scarecrow. Are you sure you remember how to get out? If you don't you can just tell the people who run this whole thing to help us." Rainbow said, doubtful.
"Yeah, I'm sur-" He then gasped dramatically. "My phone is dying, I'm going to go home to charge it. I'll be back!" "Wait, don't leave us here!-" The phone hung up.
They all sighed. "Thanks to him, we're going to die here. Plus it's getting dark."
Funneh then had a idea. "Wait! I read somewhere that going right while pressing against the maze wall or whatever will lead you to the end!"
"That could work, or we could just push these down." Gold pointed to the high wall bushes. "We could, but it looks heavy. Besides, Funneh's idea seems easier."
Everyone but Gold agreed, and they pressed up against the bushes, moving right.
After about 8 hours of going around in helpless circles like headless chickens, they finally arrived home, where all the lights were off.
They were all tired, and knew that Draco had tricked them around the 5th hour when they realized he wasn't coming for them.
"After I get at least half a day of sleep, I'm going kill him." Rainbow said, her voice dripping with malice.
Funneh collapsed onto the couch. "No.. no.. I want to do it.."
"Let's not debate about trying to kill Draco, we can guilt-trip him instead." Lunar said.
"I don't even care anymore, he's tricked us before and there's no going back now. Past is past, let it go." Gold spoke, annoyed.
"Fiiiine. If you want to be a buzzkill and ruin our murderous plans, go off."
Gold start to walk towards the stairs. "You guys have fun. I'm going to sleep."
What they all didn't know, was that Draco was listening the whole time. And had heard everything. Well, the murderous parts anyways.
The next day, when they were all awake, Draco was strangely nice to them.
Offering to do all the daily work around the house, offering to help them with anything, even offering money.
Funneh seemed to be the only one that noticed that.
"Hello Funneh! Do you need any help?" He asked while she was editing a pre-recorded video.
"No? Bro are you good, because ever since yesterday you've just been so.. nice."
"Just wanting to help you all out!" And try not to get killed.
"Yeah, but you can take a break too, y'know. You've been doing all the chores, you made breakfast for us all, and earlier today you offered almost all your money that you right now. Did something happen?"
Suddenly, he couldn't take it anymore. He broke down, spilling out everything he heard that night.
"So please don't kill me! I don't want to be frozen and heated up just to be dog food, I don't want to die yet either! I wouldn't have left you there that long, but I forgot and-" Funneh started to laugh. "W-What? Is my death funny to you? Maybe it is, you all could be psychopaths.." He muttered the last part.
She stopped, and smirked a little. "No, no.. we weren't planning on killing you, just some dark 5am thoughts. We probably shouldn't gone so into depth about it, I woke up remembering all the ways to torture someone with ice and an oven alone. And since they probably won't say it, I will. I'm sorry for worrying you about dying so soon." By now, her smirk had disappeared, and was replaced with an attempted/semi-forced smile.
"OK, then I'm sorry for leaving you in a maze for almost 10 hours.
They said their silent goodbyes, and Funneh continued to edit the video, while Draco walked downstairs in relief.
