"So...seems Luka and Marinette are getting close." Sunset said.
"Yeah. I have never seen such chemistry." Sunny said. "Then again, girls love musicians."
"This might be a bit of a problem. Marinnete has two interests now." Sakura said. "She's going to be pulled in two directions."
"Yeah and she's gonna have to make a choice eventually." Twilight said before hearing a knock on the door.
"Whoa...Jagged Stone is at our door!" Luna said.
"What does he want? Signing David for a contract?" Sunset said as they let him in.
"If it isn't my hero pals. Listen, a number of you play guitar right?" Jagged asked.
"Yes, we do." David said.
"Let me guess… Your guitarist ended up leaving the band and you're looking for someone to play in your next show." Leopardmon said.
"Uh...yes. Exactly that. So I was looking to hire one of your guitarist pals." Jagged said.
"Hold it...last I checked, you have a habit of firing guitarists multiple times." Sunset said.
"Yeah but this time she quit on her own." Jagged said.
"Don't take it man. No one wants to be a second choice." Luna said.
"And besides, it's impolite to lie to someone." Thorani said.
"Yeah...but mostly the first." Luna said.
"If you won't take it, I have people lining up to sign up." Jagged said heading out. "If you change your mind, you know where I'll be."
"This guys' supposed to be the best rock star around?" Mermista asked.
"He's an eccentric. They're all pretty much weirdos." Sunset said.
"But still, firing guitarists? What's up with that?" Ajna asked.
"Jagged has had a habit of firing guitarists for multiple reasons, all of them completely ridiculous." Luna said.
"Anyone else think this is going to bite him back in the ass?" Kagura asked.
"Oh, dear Kagura...it will definitely come back to bite him." Rainbow said.
"Hmm...I'm actually curious to see how this will end." Sunset said. "Wanna go watch?"
"Oh, this is gonna be good. I'm in." Mermista said.
"I'll go too." Ajna said.
"Oh, I'm so comin, dudes. Hey David, wanna come with?" Luna asked.
"Like I have any choice." David said.
It wasn't long before they arrived near a familiar boat as they saw a crowd gathered as Jagged was on piano with Fang.
"Wow...he's really desperate." Sunset said.
"Hey uh...I know we came to see him like this but...don't you think this guitarist he fired will come back for revenge?" Luna asked.
"Oh….well...maybe she isn't that passionate?" Ajna asked.
"Jagged Stone!" a voice called out as a woman in black with white skull paint on, stood on a lamp post. "You fired me and now you wanna replace me with some school kids?"
"Totally called it." Luna said.
"Vivica?" Jagged asked.
"There is no more Vivica. I'm Desperada now." she said opening her guitar case and taking out a strange trumpet gun. "If I can't be your guitarist anymore, I'm gonna make sure nobody can!"
"Jagged, you lying rat. You dropped Vivica just like you dropped me before." Anarka said.
"What? You were thinking of replacing me with her?" Desperada said.
"For your information, I'm a much better guitarist and was his first choice." Anarka said.
"Then I guess you'll be mine too!" Desperada said firing as Anarka vanished in yellow dust before becoming a sticker on the guitar case. "I never miss a note. Vivica always hits her targets."
"Okay, this got ugly real quick." Sunset said as Desperada fired all across the ship.
"Heads up!" Ajna said, pulling Sunset out of the way as Desperada hit Ajna instead.
"Crud. Run for it!" Sunset said as they took off.
"My sweet Ajna." Thorani said.
"Don't worry. We'll get her free. But this girl is like some...sniping musician." Sunset said.
"Hmm…" David thought as he played a note on his guitar.
"Uh, this really doesn't seem like the best time to jam." Luna said.
"No, look closer." Leopardmon said. "Try playing another note."
"Huh? O-okay." David said as he played another note.
"She keeps turning to David. She's easily distracted by noise." Sunset said. "Maybe we can use that to keep her busy while we think of a plan."
"Actually, I think I already got one." David said. "I'll go grab a Miraculous from Master Fu, while someone distracts Gina Simmons over there."
"I got it." Sunset said. "I'll keep her running after me while playing. Just call me when you get back."
"Right. I'll be back in a jiff." David said as he heads off.
At Master Fu's…
"So...its this one you want." Master Fu said, holding a Ouroboros bracelet. "The Snake Miraculous is not a normal one. It grants the power of Intuition. Allowing the wearer to gain a second chance as it were. They just need to set the time and they can repeat it as many times as they wish."
"But...why is it an Ouroboros Bracelet? I thought Rachel was the only one who had it after the War of the Gods separated the Three Kingdoms and Sengoku Eras." David said.
"Believe it or not, these are very popular in China. It can either depict a snake or a dragon biting its own tail." Master Fu said.
"Ah… That makes a lot of sense now." David said. "...And I know exactly who to give this to."
"You must choose wisely." Fu added. "Whoever bears this Miraculous must be wise enough. Not to use the power of time for their own gain."
"I know, Master Fu. Thankfully, this person kind of owes me a favor from a prior incident." David said before his phone rang. "Hello?"
"David. I got Desperada in one place. We're at the Eiffel Tower. But hurry. Not sure how much longer I can keep hiding." Sunset said.
"Say no more. I got the Snake Miraculous. I'm on my way!" David said.
He soon slid right into the sewers as Luka was hiding out down there before encountering him. "Good, looks like you're safe." Luka said.
"Yeah. Things are getting pretty dicey up there." David said.
"I know. Your friend is hiding behind some cars." Luka said.
"Luka...you said you'd pay me back for last time right?" David said. "Now is your chance." he said offering the Snake Miraculous. "Wanna join in?"
"Desperada went and attacked my family. So if I can help you in any way, I will." Luka said.
The Snake Miraculous was then offered to him as emerging from it was a small snake like being. "Greetings. My name is Sass, and I'll be your Kwami. To use the power, you must say...Sass, Scales Slither." he said.
"Sass, Scales Slither!" Luka said raising his arm up as Sass flew right on in. The snake's tongue lit up before the bracelet clasped over it. A lyre then appeared in his hands as he played a few notes before a scale like suit appeared on him as did a snake mask as he made a few serpent like motions with his hand.
"Whoa...now that is some hero." Sunset said from her hiding spot. "Nice appearance…"
"Viperion." Luka said.
"Very fitting name." David said.
"Okay...let's get into it. Second Chance." Viperion said locking in the current moment in time by slicing the snake head back on the bracelet.
"All her weapons come from that guitar case. That has to be where the Akuma is." Sunset said.
"If things don't go your way, I'll use Second Chance to flash back to the point I locked in." Viperion said.
"It may not be necessary." David said whispering something to him.
"Understood." Viperion said as they split up with Ladybug and Cat Noir soon joining in. As Desperada aimed at David, she was soon distracted by the sound of Viperion plucking his lyre as she aimed at him before she was quickly taken by surprise by the heroes before her guitar case was knocked away from her.
"I got this!" Sunset said slicing through the case, destroying it and freeing the akuma which Ladybug then caught and purified.
"That was a very good session. We rocked." David said.
"We sure did." Viperion said.
"If we need you for this kind of thing again, I'll make sure to give a ring." David said.
"Thanks. I was glad to help." Viperion said.
"Same." David said.
It was later that the group was able to enjoy a jam session after all the craziness had died down, rocking out for the rest of the day.
