I don't own SON

At the Davies' mansion, the house phone rings Raife answers it in the kitchen. This is the phone call from Raife's POV "Hello?" Oh… Hi Spencer, is Ashley's cell dead? Is that why you called the house? You wanted to talk to me? Okay… what's up? That's really sweet of you Spence, I'm sure she'll love it! How can I help? Sure, that's no problem at all. That'll be a nice touch…you're a good man Spencer Carlin."
Ashley enters the kitchen and over hears her father. "Spencer? Dad, why are you talking to my boyfriend? She asks him with a confused look on her face."

Raife ignores his daughter for a moment to finish up with Spencer. The call continues from Raife's POV "Well Spence, sounds great! I'll take care of that favor for you. Don't worry I won't tell her. You're welcome! Do you want to talk to Ashley now? Okay here she is."

Raife hands the phone to Ashley and walks away leaving her more confused than before. She starts trying to get the information out of Spencer. Here's the phone call from her POV "Okay Spence, spill! What were you and my dad talking about? Come on Spence tell me…I'll still be surprised the only difference is I'll be surprised now instead of whenever you give me the surprise….but you can see the look on my face when you tell me the surprise…I'll reenact for you…I promise! Okay, okay, I guess I can wait until tomorrow. "

Lunch time at school the next day, Spencer and Ashley are sitting across from each other at their table talking as usual. Spencer is attempting to delay telling Ashley what her surprise is."Did you hear about Madison? Apparently she sent out messages on Twitter and Facebook last night saying she was coming back to school today." Ashley rolls her eyes. Yeah, I heard that, but I haven't seen her…Thank God!" Spencer chuckles. "Me either." Ashley responds sarcastically. "What a shock Madison lied again." Spencer says "True!" They both laugh.

Ashley can't wait any longer. She has to know what her boyfriend and her dad were planning last night. "Okay Carlin, You've stalled long enough… please tell me what this surprise you have planned for me?" Spencer teases. "Do you really want to know?" Ashley begs. "Yes please!"

Spencer wants Ashley to do something first. "You have to give me a kiss first." Ashley and Spencer happily lean into a sweet little kiss. After that, Spencer is ready to let her in on the secret. "Well first of all, I won't be coming home with you today." Ashley looks sad for a second then Spencer continues. "My mom and I are going to the barber shop…its finally time to get my hair cut so I can donate it to Locks of Love!" Ashley interrupts temporarily forgetting about the secret. "That's great, I'm so proud of you for doing that, but I can't imagine you with short hair" Spencer looks puzzled. "Ash, you've seen pictures of when I had short hair." Ashley answers. "Yeah, but that was before I knew you…It might take time to get use to." Spencer is quick to defuse any worry Ashley has. "That's cool, just think of it like this, it's a great cause, and I'll be part of a process that makes people who feel like they're less than themselves because they lost their hair. I'm giving them ten inches of my gorgeous blonde hair!" He jokes flipping his hair back with his good left hand. They both laugh."Plus, I can always grow it back."

Ashley is feeling better about that now back to the secret. She playfully demands. "I know that's not what you and my dad were talking about so what is it? Tell me!" Spencer is ready to spill the beans. "Okay…okay I've made you wait long enough…" Ashley nods in agreement and Spencer continues. "I was asking your dad if he could arrange to have a limo pick you up from school today, because I booked you an appointment at the spa!"

Ashley is really happy. She gets up and goes around to his side of the table to give him a hug. "Thank you, thank you thank you, that's so sweet! You're the best boyfriend ever!" They kiss then the bell rings. Ashley doesn't want to pull away but reluctantly does after a quick kiss.

It's after school the cheerleaders are in the gym practicing. They hear clapping, and turn in unison as if it was a part of a cheer to see who it is. They are disappointed to see that it's Madison. Sherri addresses her. "Damn! We were hoping we were imagining your tweets and Facebook posts." Un-phased by the comment, Madison begins saying what she came to say. "Nope, I'm really here, and I was clapping because you guys are really good. I should've gotten you more involved when I was running the squad."

There's a brief pause while the cheerleaders try to digest Madison's words. Then, the fiery redheaded Co-captain Anna speaks up. "Oh I get it! You think you can come in here acting all nice and we'll just forgive you and let you lead the squad again…Oh hell no!"

Madison shakes her head no and responds sincerely. "I came to apologize. I know I hurt you all especially you Anna…" She looks at Anna's taller blonde girlfriend and squad co-captain and continues. "…and you Belle…You didn't deserve the things I said. The way I acted was wrong. I get it now; I shouldn't have judged you for being yourselves. I don't feel that way anymore, and I think maybe the reason I did was because I was too horrible of a person to have a real relationship. So, I need to tell you two that what you have isn't wrong, because love is never wrong. I just hope I can find a guy that can put a smile on my face like you two do every time you look at each other."

The girlfriends look at each other and smile. Then Belle questions Madison skeptically. "So, what caused this sudden change of heart?"

Madison looks embarrassed. "You're all going to think it's stupid." Anna speaks up. "If you're telling the truth about your recent enlightenment, then no matter what it was, it's not stupid." Madison is feeling reassured, nervous, and ashamed at the same time as she begins to tell the story. "I saw a commercial for that new show called End of Innocence. I thought it looked funny because there was this girl, she was a cheerleader too, and she was making fun of the lesbian couple on there. So I wanted to watch the episode to watch that chick pick on them 'cause she reminded me of me and I liked that. But the more I watched it I became upset with her treatment of the girls. She went too far….I went too far…I don't expect to be put back on the squad or anything I just wanted to get that off my chest. I'll understand if you can't forgive me, or if you need more time, or whatever…I'll leave you alone, but thanks for hearing me out.

After his haircut, while Ashley was at the spa, Spencer needed to wash the excess hair off. Paula took him home to take a shower. After that, Mrs. Carlin took Spencer to Ashley's house. Ashley wasn't home yet, but Raife let him wait for her in her room. Spencer wheeled in to the room. Then, he shut the door so that his girlfriend will be surprised when she opens it.

A few minutes after Spencer gets himself situation to the right side of the door, Ashley enters and is startled. "Spencer! Geez I didn't know you were in here…" She pauses to catch her breath. Her eyes begin to really focus on his newly cut, much shorter hair. "Whoa, you look so different…in a good way, but so different!" Spencer doesn't know what to make of the response."Do you want me to grow it back? It'll take awhile, but I can." Ashley is beginning to worry that Spencer thinks she hates his new look. She clears up the confusion. "No, that's not what I meant at all! You can grow it back if you want. But you don't have to change anything about yourself for me! I love that you did it for such a great cause. All I was saying is that it's a little odd seeing you go from an over ten inch ponytail to this." Spencer smiles slightly. "Well, it looks normal to me because I've donated my hair before, but it's cool. Besides, it's pretty much the same as before just not long in the back." Ashley smiles and laughs "I was worried that it'd be horrible, like they'd screw up and you'd be bald or something." Spencer fakes being horrified at that thought. "I would NOT look good without hair!" Ashley smiles sweetly. "You'll always look good through my eyes!" Now standing directly in front of Spencer, Ashley bends down and kisses him softly on the lips.

She pulls away and the conversation is resumed by Spencer. "Who gave you your massage? Was it a guy or girl?" Ashley answers without hesitation. "Girl." Spencer nods as if to say okay then, asks jokingly "Was she hot?" Ashley smirks, pauses briefly, and playfully answers. "Maybe." Ashley moves as close as she can get to Spencer's chair and bends down. She is now inches away from his face as he asks, "Did she give you a happy ending?" Ashley says… "Wouldn't you like to know?", as she flirtatiously wiggles her eyebrows

Then Ashley straddles Spencer. They start making out passionately Ashley runs her fingers through Spencer's hair. As things begin to get really heated, Ashley takes one hand away and forces the door shut.

The End!
