Before we get started, some announcements. Unless you saw it on social media, I have announced four new upcoming DPxMCU stories. Finally gave titles to the two other Daranak and Salzer solos and planning two more Danny and Dani Phantom stories! They are DANNY AND DANI PHANTOM: PARIAH'S WRATH, DARANAK AND SALZER NOVA: AGE OF DECEPTION, DANNY AND DANI PHANTOM: FREAKSHOW'S VENGEANCE, and DARANAK AND SALZER NOVA: PLASMIUS AWAKENING. Finally, the end of 2020 is near so this is the last chapter to be uploaded in 2020. Here's chapter 13 everybody.
Chapter 13: They Won't Last For Long.
Both Team Phantom and alternate Team Phantom were now relaxing while both Tuckers tries their best to recover the missing data and awaiting the arrival of the Phantom Blasters with Manfred. In the kitchen, Dayla and Kayla were sitting at the table eating, much to Kayla's delight of eating Earth's food. As they continue to eat, Dayla continued to look at Kayla back and forth, thinking of something. She then laughed a little, catching Kayla's attention.
"What's so funny?" Kayla asked, smiling though confused.
"Our names rhyme, Your Highness. Dayla and Kayla." Dayla said, still laughing a little.
Kayla thought about it and then began to laugh as well before she and Dayla calm down.
"Oh that is funny. Our names does rhyme. I'll definitely remember this one." Kayla said with a chuckle.
Dayla then finished the rest of her meal.
"That was good alternate Mom." Dayla said.
"I'm glad you like it, Dayla." Maddie said with a smile.
"Anything you need, Your Highness?" Dayla asked.
"No, thank you, Dayla." Kayla replied with a smile.
Dayla then saw Dani talking to Annaya as she explains to her about the Ghost Zone and other dimensional planes there, which Annaya became intrigue. Dayla was about to head to them, but she then look at the backdoor and saw Danny outside. Outside, Danny was looking at the night sky, seeing the many stars, thinking about Sam and his plans on how to ask her the big question. He has been dating Sam for 13 years now and he has loved her everyday since the two started dating and he even love her more even since she got resurrected. He had hope that someday he will marry her and start a family with her, as well as grow old with her. To Danny, Sam is the most beautiful woman in the universe and she is the light in his life, even if she was one that dare him to go into the portal that got him his powers in the first place. Danny believe that without Sam, he would sure became a totally different person. Danny has been thinking about asking her to marry him, especially ever since Jazz and Wes' wedding. He remembers how he told Dani that he would ask Sam within a month or two and it has been two months since that discussion. He knows that the time to propose to Sam is now. Danny was trapped in his thoughts that he didn't realized Dayla had approached him.
"Hey, older Danny." Dayla said.
"Oh, hey, Dayla. Didn't know you were here." Danny said.
"Mind if I join?" Dayla asked.
"No, I could use the company from my alternate twin sister." Danny said with a smile.
Dayla then took a seat next to Danny and once again looks at him, can't believe the changes since last time. Last time Dayla saw Danny, he was 24. She still can't believe she's seeing Danny as a 30 year old, considering she hasn't seen him in two years from her perspective. Dayla got out of her thoughts as she sees Danny staring at the night sky.
"Nice night tonight. Look at those stars." Danny said.
"I know. It's hard to believe that in this world, it's actually weird that we aren't alone in the universe. It always makes me wonder, if there are other living beings out there in our world." Dayla said.
"Only time will tell I guess. I've seen my fair share of alien worlds." Danny said.
"I remember watching it from Clockwork's Tower back in our world. What was it like by the way? Visiting other alien worlds?" Dayla asked.
"Well Dani and I visit two but it was crazy." Danny said.
"Has that change your thoughts whenever you look at the night sky?" Dayla asked.
"Of course. Star gazing while knowing there are other people out there? It's definitely change me on how I see the stars." Danny replied.
Danny look at the night sky again thinking about Sam, which Dayla noticed.
"You okay, Danny?" Dayla asked.
"I gotta tell you something. Maybe I can hear a opinion or something from you." Danny said.
"So, what do you want to tell me?" Dayla asked.
Danny sighed with a smile.
"Okay, so ever since the Avengers defeated Thanos, I've been wanting to do this for a while now." Danny said with a smile.
Danny pulled out the small black box and opened it to reveal the beautiful diamond ring.
"I'm gonna ask Sam to marry me." Danny said.
Dayla gasped before she smiled and gave Danny a hug.
"Oh my gosh! That is...wow! Awesome! She's gonna love it when you ask her. Oh...wow!" Dayla said with excitement.
"Yeah, I've been starting to think when I'll propose ever since Jazz's wedding." Danny said.
"Wait a minute, Jazz got married?" Dayla asked.
"Yeah, didn't I tell you?" Danny replied.
"No, but that's great Jazz got married. Who's her husband?" Dayla asked.
"A guy name Wes Weston. He was in the same grade as Jazz and he and I didn't like each other to be honest." Danny replied.
"Why?" Dayla asked.
"Because he was too nosey. Imagine my reaction when I found out that Wes and Jazz were dating." Danny said, making Dayla chuckle.
"Well, I'm sure Sam would say yes. She's gonna love that ring. When will you ask the big question?" Dayla asked.
"Well, if Camila is defeated on time, then on July 4th, which is two days from now, well tomorrow once it's midnight." Danny said.
"Wait, it's July here?" Dayla asked.
"Yeah, what month was it in your universe?" Danny asked.
"November. Anyway how you feel about it?" Dayla replied.
"Great, but really nervous at the same time." Danny said.
"I'm sure you'll be fine. You've looked evil in the face and defeated it time and time again. You got this, older Danny." Dayla said.
"Thanks, Dayla." Danny said with a smile.
Meanwhile, Dani has finished discussing about the Ghost Zone and its connecting worlds with Annaya.
"Amazing. To think the Ghost Zone is not just the flipped side of Earth in this universe, and this universe's Ghost Zone's rich history. It makes me wonder what other world's Ghost Zone's worlds are like." Annaya said.
"And to think a few years ago, we thought the Ghost Zone was just the flipped side of Earth, Your Majesty." Dani said. "Well, I better go check up on some things."
Dani then leaves, leaving Annaya alone. Kayla then walked in holding a plate of food Maddie cook.
"I gotta say, the food Earth has is really good, Your Majesty. If only I knew about Earth for centuries during this war, even before the Humans advanced, even though I think they're still primitive." Kayla said.
"Have you ever had any breaks during this war of yours, Your Highness?" Annaya asked.
"No. I have to make sure my siblings get defeated no matter what? I don't want another world and its Ghost Zone dimension to get harvested, including Earth, Your Majesty." Kayla replied.
"Must be stressful for you, dear. I know what that's like." Annaya said.
"You know, I'm 32,000 years old. There's never been a day goes by when my enemies, including my siblings, would want to kill me, but never succeeded. I've killed my enemies enough to be on a harvest scale. I'm still here because I believe fate has placed upon me to stop the suffering and genocide cause by my siblings and my family." Kayla said.
"Family? You mean your siblings are not the only ones?" Annaya asked.
"For many millennia, my ancestors from my father's side were very genocidal. Obviously all royalty. Of course, not all of my kind is bad. Some believe that it's better to harvest worlds that doesn't have civilizations, especially on a solar system that doesn't have a habitable planet. My mother was one of them, but my siblings and myself were destined to harvest other worlds regardless if there are civilizations or not and to follow the traditions of Harvesters to harvest other worlds. Of course, after my father's death and Hertha was crowned Queen, she and my siblings followed the traditions that was made by the royal family, except my mother of course. I did too but I knew what my kind and myself were doing was wrong, causing me to find my own path and rebelled against them. I thank my mother for raising me to do good. This led to the war that will last for millennia and I form the coalition that is made of those that were victims to the Harvesters." Kayla said.
"Like I told you before, I know what that's like and know what you're going through, Your Highness." Annaya said with sympathy.
"Tell me something, Your Majesty. How did you feel when you had to fight your family?" Kayla asked.
"Well, it was hard. My father had been a tyrant all my life and my sister ended up being just like him. My father had killed my mother for trying to teach my sister and I to be better than he was and had always favored my sister Morana as she made him proud and was the daughter he always wanted. He tried to force me to follow his ways, but I would not yield. I helped put an end to his tyranny and then many years later thanks to my friends after they saved me, I stopped my sister once and for all, banishing her to the Unworld." Annaya replied.
"Sorry you had to fight your sister, Your Majesty. I don't know how long you were in this war against her but glad you won. I love my sister but unfortunately, she needs to be stop and hopefully, someday, I can finally put an end to this war and the genocide." Kayla said.
"That day will come. Fate has place upon you." Annaya said.
"You know, we're so much alike, two royals who had to fight against family, especially evil siblings." Kayla said.
"I am honor to meet such a honorable royal warrior like yourself, Your Highness. And when the time comes, I will be honored to fight by your side." Annaya said with a smile.
"Same to you." Kayla said with a smile.
Meanwhile, at the lab, both Tucker and alternate Tucker were working on recovering the data. Alternate Tucker once again was in awe at the how the lab got more advanced than the last time he was here.
"This is really cool! The lab has gotten more advanced than the last time." alternate Tucker said in awe.
"Yep. Now not only this has Stark technology, but now Wakandan technology and alien technology." Tucker said.
"Alien technology? Seriously?" alternate Tucker asked, not believing what Tucker said.
"It's a long story. Better if Danny and Dani explain that." Tucker said.
"It's still amazing all this tech. Better than the lab back in my universe." alternate Tucker said.
"Right. Well, that's that. The data from Kayla's device should be recovered around after midnight or more. So, we just gotta wait." Tucker said.
"Awesome. This is definitely gonna help in defeating Camila and the Harvesters. Now we just need a plan." alternate Tucker said.
"So, how's life going for you in your world? College good? You go to MIT right?" Tucker asked.
"Yep. College is pretty good, I'm learning some new techniques in my advanced tech classes so maybe when I get home, I'll be able to create a lab as good as this." alternate Tucker replied.
While both Tuckers chat, at another part of the lab, Jacob and Brooke were talking to Andrew and Tabitha.
"So, Tabitha, have you thought of ghost fighting?" Jacob asked.
"Ever since Danny and Dayla revealed their secret to the world and Andrew had told me all about their adventures they had, I always wanted to tag along with Andrew someday." Tabitha answered.
"Same with Jacob. Looks like we both will get our chance." Brooke said.
"Definitely. Looking forward to it." Tabitha said with a smile.
"So what happened back at your universe? Said something about Tabitha being rescued." Jacob asked.
"One of our common enemies kidnapped Tabitha for ransom as he wants to destroy Danny, Dayla, Dani, Dale as well as older Danny and older Dani. Of course, we beat him." Andrew replied.
"Well, glad you got rescued. I hope I don't have to go through that." Brooke said.
"You won't, Brooke, and if it does happen, they'll pay." Jacob said hile punching his fist together with his palm.
Meanwhile, in the living room, Dani, Sam and Jazz were chatting with alternate Danny, alternate Sam, alternate Dani and Dale. They were chatting when they heard Jazz got married.
"I didn't know you got married, older Jazz. Congratulations." alternate Dani said.
"Thank you. It was a dream come true." Jazz said with a smile.
"So... who's the husband?" alternate Danny said "And maybe someone I might have to take care of if he exist back at home." alternate Danny said telepathically.
"I heard that Danny." alternate Dani said.
"Hey, I just want to know." alternate Danny said, shrugging his shoulders innocently.
"Same." Dale said.
"Even in alternate universes, still overprotective." Jazz said.
"That's Danny for you." Dani said with a chuckle.
"Anyway, my husband's name is Wes Weston." Jazz said, showing a picture of him from her phone.
They looked at the photo and alternate Danny shook his head.
"No, nobody name Wes in our universe." alternate Danny said.
"That's so funny! Remember Danny that I read the ring you gave me and I thought it was Wes when it really said Sam?" alternate Sam said with a chuckle.
"Weird that Danny is getting used to Jazz being married to Wes." Sam said with a chuckle.
"Why?" alternate Dani asked.
"Danny and Wes has a history." Jazz replied.
"Right..." alternate Danny said.
"He's a good guy. Took time for Danny to take it in." Dani said.
"Well, I'm happy for you, Jazz." alternate Danny said with a smile.
"Thank you." Jazz said with a smile.
"By the way, I didn't get a chance to say this, but older Sam, I definitely like your outfit and I definitely like what you did with your hair, especially dying it ombre fashion and straightening it, you look great. Maybe I should do the same." alternate Sam said.
"Thanks." Sam said with a smile.
Suddenly, Danny walked in with Dayla.
"Dani, gather everyone in the lab. Phantom Blasters and Bauer are here." Danny said.
"Alright, let's do it." Dani said.
While Dani goes to gather everyone, Danny went to the front door to see the Phantom Blasters with Manfred.
"Glad you as well as Dani and Kayla are back, Danny." Victoria said.
"I've been updated on the situation." Danny said before seeing Manfred. "Good to see you again, Doctor Bauer."
"Never thought I would come back here to help you all again. Don't tell me those ghosts I'm seeing on the news is what I think they are." Manfred said.
"Unfortunately, they are the Harvesters. And someone would like to talk to you about it." Danny said.
"Very well." Manfred said.
Danny, Manfred and the Phantom Blasters head to the lab where Dani has gathered everyone. As soon as Manfred entered the lab, he noticed alternate Team Phantom.
"No! No! No! This can't be happening again! Not again!" Manfred said.
"Yeah... alternate Team Phantom is here and they brought some friends." Danny said sheepishly.
"Do you realized how bad it is to cause another dimensional crisis? Even Harry himself wouldn't think of causing another one." Manfred said.
"Well, Dani and I met 1970s Harry Fenton through time travel, so..." Danny said.
"Nice to see you again." alternate Sam said.
"Like I said the last time this happen, everything in this century is quite bizarre, but this takes the cake, as well as half population vanishing into dust only to come back to life 5 years later. Geez, I miss my time period where aliens was just a fantasy." Manfred said.
"Anyway, there one person you need to meet." Dani said.
Kayla then approached Manfred, making him recognized the outfit.
"Another Harvester!" Manfred said.
"Calm down, she's friendly. This is Princess Kayla. She's the heir to the Harvester's throne and she's Hertha's younger sister." Dani said.
"You must be this Doctor Bauer I've heard about. I heard you spent 69 years at the Keep with Hertha. She must have considered you a friend, or at least a acquaintance." Kayla said.
"Hertha was... complicated, but she did provided for me, treated me as a equal, and I also assist her and her subjects and help improved her technology, so I should take responsibility for any crimes that were committed, especially since Hertha showed me a harvest once." Manfred said.
"Manfred, you've changed since then." Dayla said, looking at him sympathetically.
"You were pardoned and repented the moment you help Team Phantom stop Hertha. Not to mention she corrupted you. It wasn't you." Kayla said.
"Speaking of that. Your Highness, is it true that you Harvesters can contact a person through telepathy without being present and prevent a person from aging?" Danny asked.
"Yes, I can even use my telepathy to contact my resistance if I wanted to. As for your second question, yes, my siblings and I have the power to prevent a person from aging, like what Hertha did to Doctor Bauer. We can even bring a recently killed or dead person back to life if we wanted to." Kayla replied.
"I guess you were right Doctor Bauer." Dani said.
"Like I said, Hertha made sure I didn't age and look at me now. I'm 112 years old, but look like I'm 43, and not dead, a man out of time living in a bizarre century." Manfred said, slightly sarcastically.
"Well, at least you've caught up with history." Sierra said.
"Yeah, you now have a second chance. Make the best of it." Venus said.
"Well… things besides what's happening right now ain't so bad. Foods a lot better, internet has been really helpful to me and the world definitely has so many wonders I have never seen. Anyway, enough about my past and life. Right now we need to stop this new force of Harvesters. Tell me what you know so far." Manfred said.
"Well, they're being led by their new queen Camila, who is Hertha and Kayla's sister." Jack said.
"You and Hertha have another sister, Your Highness?" Manfred asked.
"Yes. Hertha never told you?" Kayla asked.
"There's a lot of things she never told me. Siblings is one of them." Manfred replied.
"Of course." Kayla said, having the feeling her sister wouldn't have told Manfred about her family no matter how much she trusted him.
"And why is alternate Team Phantom here again?" Manfred asked.
"We try to talk them out of it but once again, no avail." Dani said.
"It's our fight too." alternate Danny said.
"Definitely. Not gonna let the Harvesters harvest Earth, our home planet no matter what universe it is." Dayla said.
"All of us will stop them together." Andrew said.
"Like it or not Manfred, we're all in this together and we're friends. Friends always has each other's backs." alternate Valerie said.
Everyone then look at the news report showing the large air battle that is still taking place over Lake Michigan and around the drill.
"Impressive that your native fighter craft can hold of our advanced fighter craft." Kayla said, looking at the Humans fighting impressively.
"Those air force pilots are trying their best to hold off those Harvester air forces out there. But how long can they last is what concerns me." Brooke said.
"Yeah, but they won't be able to stop them for long. Tuckers, status on the data recovery?" Danny asked.
"The data should be recovered around midnight." alternate Tucker said.
"Or more." Tucker said.
"That's good. The sooner we get the data, the more chances we have into stopping Camila." Dayla said.
"While we wait, Dani, we need to talk alone." Danny said.
Danny and Dani left the lab before heading up to Danny's old bedroom.
"What's going on, Danny?" Dani asked.
"It's about that air battle, those air force pilots won't be able to stop those Harvester fighters, not like last time. Not to mention the Keep II is an air target." Danny said.
"So what do we do? We got both a air battle and a ground battle, we can't do both at the same time." Dani said.
"That's why I think it's time we bring back Phantom Squadron." Danny said.
"Flying F-22 Raptors? Oh man, I so want to do that again." Dani said with a smirk.
"It's settle then. Alright, while we wait for the data, we'll head back home, change into our flight suits, head back here, learn about the Keep II, then we'll head for Tyndall." Danny said.
"Sounds good." Dani said.
Danny and Dani then heads back to the lab.
"Dad, can you get the Quinjet fueled up?" Danny asked.
"Wait, but won't we need it when we head to Chicago?" Jack asked.
"Take the Fenton Jet for that." Danny said.
"Very well, we'll get it fueled up." Jack said.
"Brooke, you said your dad is high commanding officer in the air force right?" Dani asked.
"Yes." Brooke replied.
"I need you to make some calls, but after Danny and I come back." Dani said.
"Where you going?" Dale asked.
"Dani and I need to pick up something back at our house." Danny said.
"Can Danny, Dayla, Dale and I come? I want to see your place." alternate Dani asked.
"Sure, but you four gotta stay invisible though." Danny said.
"No problem." Dayla said.
With that, Danny, Dani, alternate Danny, Dayla, alternate Dani and Dale change into their ghost forms before heading off to Danny and Dani's house.
And that's the end of this chapter and the last uploaded in 2020. Well now you all know when Danny will propose to Sam. And that's right, the Phantom Squadron is coming back and first time since The Ultimate Return. Manfred meets Kayla and learn that Hertha never told him about her family. So yeah, Kayla is 32,000 years old. She was born in the year 29977 B.C.. Well what will happen when the data is finally recover and what plan Danny and Dani have in mind?
