A/N- Taking a break from Levi's POV for a chapter. This one in Debbie's instead.
Diana
When I told old Julius that I was missing some muscle on my team, he recommended I borrow Diana. She was the vacuum in the diner.
The diner that I often visit to drop off what is required of me.
I have to put all those parts to good use. They do no good collecting dust on shelves.
I have the address of whoever took Levi. I need a game plan.
Going in unprepared is why my little adventure in the Garden Center ended up with me duct-taped and thrown through the mail slot. That Sanitaire really did a number on me.
I bribed Window with virtual currency in order to obtain a map of where I'm headed.
I hope Gutenberg doesn't mind me scribbling over his printouts.
I uncap a marker. Diana and Pierce stare at the map.
"We don't know what appliances are inside," Pierce said.
"Nothing you haven't dealt with," Diana replied.
Hold on. I got a message from the higher ups.
I quickly fold up the battle plans and slip them into the drawer. We've got an emergency client to talk to.
As I speed away into the night, I wonder just how Oracle and Levi are doing.
I hope they're doing well.
