Alice Syfy Story

Alice and Lindsey

Chapter twenty-six: Not Giving Up Yet!

(Alice pov)

I couldn't believe what happened. My own father didn't recognize me. I felt hurt. I was in pain. He was here, and I searched the world for him.

And now, not only am I losing him, I'm losing my sister too. Lindsey wanted me to forget. I guess I have no choice now.

Forget about her. Forget about Jack. Forget about...Hatter. Forget...father. "Daddy." I said his name one more time before I was to be sent home, like nothing ever happened.

"This one's got to go back." A suit said.

"She'll have to wait. A party's returning with fresh oysters."

I watched as people came through the looking glass and were put to sleep.

And this was all my fault.

"The queen wants the ring."

"Well, we'll need it back. The looking glass only works for a short time without it." More suits spoke.

I watched as the ring left the room, and coming through the mirror, to girls.

It was like something snapped. "No." Lindsey I couldn't leave behind! She was my sister and I wasn't going to leave her!

I fought off my guards and went after the ring.

Lindsey and the rest of the oysters were trapped her. I couldn't go home and forget all this!

I was going back to save them all!

(Lindsey pov)

We all sat in a room with Alicia circling us. "Who's power should I try and take over first. Since I have the most powerful and useful one, I wonder..." She was guessing which one of us to control first.

But a knock came at the door. "I need her." It was Mad March.

"What? Fine. Take the flying girl away." Alicia said.

"No. I need her." He looked right at me. Why me?

"What? Her?!"

"Hatter is being very stubborn, maybe, a little insurance could persuade him." Meaning my blood over the Library.

"Well, she's my most valued curse, so don't actually kill her." Alicia said.

He nodded and grabbed hold of me. Dragging me out of the room and into another one a floor down.

In there, was green, and the twins, and "Hatter!"

Mark had a knife to my throat as we walked in. "Leave us."

The twins questioned him. "I said LEAVE!" He yelled. Not before one of them zapped him one more time.

"When is a raven like a writing desk?" Hatter started muttering words...no. Rhymes?

"The clockwork's not ticking properly."

I didn't know what he was saying, but...oh! He was acting like he was crazy. Mad Hatter!

"Maybe crumbs in the butter."

"Tell me where the great library is, or I'll kill her." But he couldn't kill me.

Hatter only looked up at us. I kept a straight face and shook my head. "Don't. Don't give in." I whispered.

"I didn't think you'd crack." He laughed. "In that case, there's no need to keep you alive. So, I'll just make this more entertainable, and have the princess watch you die."

Princess?

"Twinkle, Twinkle, little bat. How I wonder what you at." He laughed.

"Up above the world, so high, like a diamond in the sky." I laughed along. "You are done for Mark."

"I don't go by that name anymore."

"Your right. Your Mad March." I scoffed. He threw me to the ground and went for the kill, "Goodbye Hatter." Hatter fell back on his chair, and kicked March.

He got free with one arm, and when Mad March missed, his punched his head, and it cracked.

The body fell back nearly hitting me. "Hatter! I got up and ran to hug him.

"Ow!"

"Sorry. Let me help." I helped free his other hand.

"Thanks. Sorry I-"

"Don't worry about it. Let's finish this." I said.

"How?"

"Freeing the rest of the oysters." I said. Turning to Mad March body, I knew what had to be done. I raised my hand up and focused.

His body shook and trembled with my hand. "What are you-"

"I'm freeing Mark." I said. Tears ran down my cheeks as I did this, I broke every bit of his whole body. To the point, it wouldn't be useable.

Mad March, wouldn't be coming back.

Once it was done, I felt an arm around me. "You had no choice." Hatter said.

"I still feel so sad for him. He did all this...just because he loved her." Maybell would have wanted this. "Give her the ring Hatter. She deserves it." I told him.

Next was freeing the rest of the girls. The more power, the better.
