Chapter 13

Buffy had gotten ready for bed in her white tank top and pink lounge pants, she sat on her bed as she rubbed the last of her lotion on her hands. She smiled when her phone went off, She knew it was laughed at the picture he sent of himself looking sad saying that he missed her. She quickly took a picture of herself sending it back to him.

"What? No nudes?" Faith smirked, leaning against the blonde's door frame.

Buffy rolled her eyes, setting her phone down as the brunette walked further into the bedroom. "Aren't you exhausted from traveling?"

"Oh yeah." Faith rolled her eyes, she shut the bedroom door behind her and made her way to the blondes bed. "Because two hours on a bus where I did absolutely nothing was SO exhausting. Now, spill."

Buffy raised her eyebrows, shaking her head as if she didn't know what Faith was talking about.

"I told you this wasn't over." She told her friend, getting more comfortable on the bed, beside the blonde. "Throwing me over to mama bear, not going to make me forget the fact that you said you aren't exactly having sex. What does that mean?"

The blonde shrugged, innocently. "We've done… other stuff."

"Other stuff?" Faith raised her eyebrows. "B, if you can't say it then you aren't old enough to do it."

Buffy let out a chuckle. When did Faith start sounding like her mother? "God, Faith. Maybe I just don't want to tell you. It is kind of personal."

"Since when do we not do personal?" Faith pouted, then got more comfortable leaning against the pillows on the bed. She watched her friend pick up her phone again, a small smile played on her lips as she read the text message. "Come on, B! If you don't talk about it with me, who are you going to talk about it with? Willow?"

Buffy turned to look at her friend, she kind of had a point. Willow got all nervous when anything sexual was brought up and she didn't know if she could talk to Cordelia about it given the fact that up until very recently, Cordelia wanted Angelus herself. "Fine." She let out an exaggerated sigh. "Oral."

"Oral?" Faith raised her eyebrows. "Is that how you are getting around your mom's rules?"

Buffy bit her lip and shrugged, looking back down at her phone, texting Angelus.

"Okay." Faith nodded. "So who did it? Did you do it to him or did he do it to you?"

Buffy looked up from her phone, but didn't set it down. "Both."

Faith let out a laugh, crossing her arms over her chest. "Did you like it?"

The blonde simply nodded as she read another text message.

"Which one did you like?" Faith tried to drag out of her.

Buffy bit her lip before she responded, a small smile played on her lips. "Both."

"Slut!" Faith smacked her best friend in the shoulder, laughing. "Did you swallow?"

Buffy's eyes got large as she finally turned to look at her friend. "Faith!"

"What?" She asked innocently. "I just want to know what kind of experience it was."

"It was a good one!" Buffy exclaimed, raising her shoulders before pausing for a moment. "Okay, fine." She set her phone down on her night stand, laying back on her bed beside Faith. "No, I didn't swallow. He told me to stop first."

Faith nodded, most guys wouldn't tell a girl to stop. A wicked smile spread across her face. "Did you want to?"

Buffy rolled her eyes playfully, before letting out a laugh. "I wanted to at least try."

Faith let out a loud laugh before slapping her hand over her mouth, she didn't want to wake Dawnie. "You are such a whore! I love it!"

Buffy let out a laugh as well, then got more comfortable in bed before talking to Faith about everything they had missed in eachothers lives in just the few weeks they had been apart. They ended up talking so late that they fell asleep.

Buffy ran through the door excitedly, not even bothering to knock. "Okay, so knocking isn't a thing." Faith shook her head, closing the door behind her as she watched Buffy jump into the arms of a smiling Angelus. She raised her eyebrows at the couple as Buffy wrapped her legs around her boyfriend's waist. So much had changed in the short time that she was in Los Angeles.

"I missed you." The blonde whispered before kissing her boyfriend.

Angelus smiled before kissing her again. "I missed you too."

"Is this all you guys do?" Faith asked, motioning to the couple. "Cause 2 for 2, ya'all have your tongues down each other's throats."

"Yup." Xander replied, not even looking up as he walked out of the kitchen with a bowl of cereal, making his way to the couch.

Faith looked at the dark-haired man on the couch with raised eyebrows. "Why is Harris here?"

"I live here." Xander said with a mouth full of cereal, milk dripping down his chin as he spoke. Finally looking up he noticed who had spoken. "Faith?"

"Harris LIVES here?" Faith asked, surprised, pointing behind her at the boy in question. "How did you not mention that, B?"

Buffy turned her head, still in the arms of her boyfriend, looking at the dark-haired girl, with a shrug. "Does it matter?"

Faith laughed. "Kinda, yeah."

The blonde rolled her eyes, she knew exactly what had happened between Faith and Xander. Faith could never keep a secret from her. She turned back to her boyfriend. "Sorry, Faith wanted to see the place. We didn't know each other when I lived here and she said she was curious to see what it looked like."

"Not a problem." He smiled at the blonde, giving her a quick kiss. "As long as I get to see you."

Buffy smiled at his sweetness and then glanced over at Xander on the couch, sloppily shoveling overflowing spoonfuls of cereal into his mouth, at least half of it falling out and dribbling down his chin. "Xander, we bought a table for a reason."

Faith rolled her eyes this time. "Whatever. I'm going to go snoop around while you two go dry hump."

Angelus moved his hands from around Buffy's waist, sliding them down to her ass, as he teasingly wiggled his eyebrows at her.

"Upstairs?" Buffy mouthed to Angelus, earning a nod, before he made his way to the staircase, still carrying her. "Get a napkin!" She called to Xander as Angelus made his way up the stairs.

"So…" Angelus whispered, turning on his side in the bed and gently lacing his fingers with hers. "I talked to my mom this morning."

Buffy raised her eyebrows, looking at their entwined hands as he played with her fingers. "Oh?"

Angelus gave her a smirk. "She wanted to know if I was going to visit this weekend"

"Oh." Buffy nodded. She wasn't sure if he was going to invite her along with this trip or wait until they had been together a little longer but she hated the thought of being away from him for that long. "Are you?"

"I was hoping to." He nodded.

Buffy nodded again, looking up at him, then whispered. "How long will you be gone?"

"That depends." He shrugged. "I mean, it doesn't really make much sense to fly all the way there and just stay the weekend."

"I get that." She looked back down at their hands. "It's your parents, and you haven't been home in a while, it would make sense to stay longer."

Angelus gave her a small smile. "How long do you think…"

She shrugged, moving her head slightly to move her blonde hair off of her shoulder. "That's not really up to me. Like, you might get there and never want to come back to Sunnydale again."

He narrowed his eyes playfully at her. "I don't see that happening. Sunnydale has you."

"Texas has other girls." She pouted, their hands had become extremely interesting to her, she just couldn't bring herself to look at him.

"Other girls aren't you." He reminded her, dipping his head down to try to look her in the eyes. "Hey." He whispered. "You okay? I mean, if you don't want to go…"

Buffy bit her lip, finally making eye contact with him. "I'm going with you?"

"I was hoping." He whispered, lightly rubbing his thumb across her knuckles. "We did talk about it. I met your family, you were going to meet my family."

Buffy scooting up further on the bed, giving him a teasing look. "I just didn't know if you wanted me to go already… it's still new, we are still new."

Angelus laughed, leaning closer to her, giving her a kiss. "I don't think I could stand going a day without seeing you, Buffy. Let alone even a weekend."

"Yeah?" She smiled.

Angelus nodded, kissing her again. "Besides, my mom is dying to meet you ever since we went shopping for the furniture."

"And since Doyle is here…." Buffy trailed off, smiling at him. "Cordy doesn't have to come with us."

Angelus nodded again, lightly rubbing his nose against hers before kissing her. "Just the two of us."

"That's exactly how I like it." She whispered, kissing him softly.

"Hey mom!" Buffy called from the kitchen as she grabbed a cup out of the cupboard. Her mother was just outside the back door, bending over on the patio.

Joyce stood up, smiling at her daughter. "Hi Sweetie." She took a pair of gardening gloves off her hands, holding them. "What are you up to?"

Buffy shrugging, pouring a glass of juice. "Me and Faith went over to Angel's." Buffy's eyes got large at the use of her boyfriend's new nickname, she hadn't said it in front of anyone but him. "us… Angelus' house earlier."

Joyce eyed her daughter for a moment, she was acting odd. "Okay. Did you have fun?"

The blonde nodded as she took a drink of her juice, leaning her back against the counter neat the kitchen sink. "We didn't know if you needed us today. Maybe work related stuff or date… stuff."

Joyce laughed, shaking her head. "No. I'm taking the day off to do some R and R." She held up her gardening gloves. "I was thinking about ordering some dinner to keep with the relaxing. What do you think?"

"Sounds good." Buffy smiled. "I think Faith will be happy with anything that doesn't involve canned spaghetti-o's."

"Is that what she had been eating?" Joyce gasped. Joyce had made sure to teach Faith a few of the basics when it came to cooking, so she had hoped she was eating better than that.

Buffy shrugged. "That's what she said, which is why Angelus made us a really good lunch… it could also be partly because he likes to cook, but whatever." She pushed herself away from the counter. "So, you know how we talked about me going to Texas to meet his family?"

Joyce nodded, placing her soil covered gloves on the chair just outside the back door.

"Well, his mom wants to shoot for this weekend." Buffy paused, biting her lip. "Is that okay?"

The older woman raised her eyebrows at her oldest daughter. "Isn't that a little soon? You two just officially got together."

"He already met you." The younger blonde pointed out.

"Well, yes." Joyce nodded, somewhat surprised. "But I'm your mother."

Buffy laughed quietly. "And he has a mother too."

"I understand that, Sweetie." Joyce chuckled. "It's just, meeting his mother requires you to go to another state."

Buffy creased her eyebrows and frowned. "Mom, you were fine with this before…"

"I know." Her mother nodded. "I just didn't think it would be so soon, I just met him two days ago. Don't you think you are moving kind of fast?"

"Oh, I have a feeling B likes the speed they are moving." Faith smirked as she walked into the kitchen, earning an eye roll from the blonde. "What's for dinner? I'm starved." The brunette asked, getting into the fridge.

The blonde raised her eyebrows at her friend. "After everything you ate today?"

Faith shrugged. "I have been starving for weeks, B. Don't judge."

"Spaghetti-o's, Faith, really?" Joyce scolded her.

"I'm lazy." The brunette shrugged again.

Buffy smirked. "Right out of the can with a plastic spoon?"

"Bet!" Faith laughed. "Easy clean up."

Joyce shook her head, with a slight laugh. It was good to have all of her girls home.

Faith leaned against Buffy's bedroom wall, crossing her arms, watching the blonde sort through her closet. "So, I get to watch the little one while you fly off to… where is it again? To meet the boy's family…"

"Texas." Buffy told her, without looking up from her clothes. She was already trying to figure out what clothes to take with her. "It's weird, mom was fine with it when we talked about it before and now that we actually have a plan, she is acting all weird."

"Could it possibly be because her daughter is leaving the state to meet someone's family that she doesn't actually know?" Faith said with a small smirk. "I mean, you said it yourself, it hasn't even been a full week yet."

Buffy shrugged.

"This isn't like you, B." Faith raised her eyebrows. "You don't jump in. You don't rush." She let out a laugh. "This is me. Hell, this is Cordelia."

"It's me with Angelus." The blonde said, finally looking up at her best friend. "There is just something about him."

"Oh, I'll say!" Faith laughed again. "He's a babe! Even better, he's a babe with money!"

Buffy rolled her eyes, everyone seemed to get hung up on his money. "I don't care about what is in his bank account."

Faith shrugged, now that was Buffy. "Let me guess, you were into him before you knew about his rich ass family."

Buffy nodded, walking over to her bed when she heard her phone ding. She quickly text Willow back confirming that they were still on to get coffee in the morning before turning to look back at Faith. "I thought he was just a lifeguard, Faith."

The brunette smiled at her friend, before laughing. "I guess it's cool that I watch the little brat if this guy means so much to you."

"Hey!" Came a little voice from down the hall. "I'm not a brat!"

Faith turned towards the little brunette. "Yeah, you are."

The small girl thought for a moment before shrugging and nodding. She ran to the older dark haired girl, jumping into her arms, wrapping her legs around her waist. "Yeah, I am." She laughed.

"I missed this kid!" Faith laughed, turning to walk downstairs with the younger girl still in her arms. "Let's go see what's taking dinner so long."

Dawnie nodded with a smile, she had really missed Faith. "Mommy said she is ordering Chinese. Were you and Buffy talking about Angelus?"

Faith narrowed her eyes at the little girl as she hit the last step then turned towards the dining room. "Yeah. Why?"

"Is he coming over?" Dawn smiled even wider.

The brunette shook her head, apparently Buffy wasn't the only Summers girl obsessing over this guy. "No. B is going to be going on a trip with him."

The small girl's eyes got large with excitement. "Can I go?!"

Faith laughed and shook her head, as she saw Joyce wiping down the counters. "No, you can't."

"Can't what?" Joyce asked, turning towards the girls.

Faith raised her eyebrows at the woman who had taken her in when her own mother had left her alone to fend for herself. If it wasn't for Joyce Summers, she wouldn't have even made it out of high school, let alone know how to manage money. Joyce was the first adult to tell Faith that she trusted her and knew that she was capable of great things. She trusted her with her little girl and trusted her to help run the business she had worked so hard to build. She owed a lot to Mrs. Summers. "Dawnie wants to go with B and Angelus."

Joyce let out a laugh, shaking her head. "I would imagine. She loves him."

The small girl pouted. "Why can't I go? Angelus likes me."

"Because Sweetie…" Joyce trailed off with a sigh. She knew her oldest daughter was growing up, and she needed to do things on her own but she just wished time would slow down a little. "Your sister is going to meet his family, just like he met us."

Dawn's face turned serious as she looked at her mother. "I want to meet his family too."

"You are too dang cute, kid!" Faith laughed before turning back to Joyce. "Dinner?"

The older woman turned towards the clock on the kitchen wall. "It should be here soon, I placed the order an hour ago."

"Thank god!" Faith exclaimed. "I'm starved!"

"Me too!" Dawn scowled, looking towards Faith. She looked up to Faith and loved her like a sister. Dawn was so happy to have her back, but now Buffy was leaving, which she didn't like. Couldn't she just have both of her sisters with her at the same time again?

0o0o0

Buffy held up a baby blue dress, it had been a while since she wore it and she still found it cute. It was sleeveless and came down to about her mid thigh, but Cordelia had mentioned recently that she should get rid of it. Would Angelus' teenage sister think the same? She let out a sigh, why was this so hard? Luckily, she had a week to decide on what to take with her.

Placing the dress back into her closet, she pouted when she heard her phone ring. Who was calling her? Didn't they know she was in the middle of a fashion crisis? Looking down at her cell phone, she smiled before answering it. "Hey."

"Hey Beautiful." Came the voice of her boyfriend.

Buffy bit her lip with a smile. "What's up?"

"Straight to the point, huh?" He laughed.

Buffy nodded even though he couldn't see her. "Is there a point to get straight to?"

He sighed. "Yeah, there is."

The blonde pouted. "So not just a 'I wanna hear your voice' call."

"I always want to hear your voice." She could hear the smile in his voice. "But, yes there is a reason for my call. My mom called, she said my dad just found out he has to go on a business trip this weekend."

"Oh." She raised her eyebrows. "Does that mean the trip is cancelled?"

"Not exactly." Angelus paused for a second. "Mom still wants us to come but dad wants to meet you with mom, so they were hoping that we could go sooner."

"Sooner?" Buffy let out a chuckle. "Sooner than the weekend?"

"Yeah. Sooner like tomorrow." He told her.

"Tomorrow, tomorrow?" She asked, shocked. "As in the tomorrow that is after today?"

Angelus laughed. "That would be the one. Would tomorrow morning be okay with your mom?"

Buffy sat down on her bed with wide eyes. How was she going to mentally prepare herself to meet his family tomorrow? She was already nervous about meeting them in a week! "I kinda promised Will that I would meet her for coffee in the morning."

"We could leave tomorrow after you meet with Willow." Angelus suggested. "Unless that doesn't work for you." He took a deep breath. "Or we could just postpone you coming with, and I could go alone."

"Alone?" Buffy whispered to herself. She really didn't like the idea of being away from him. When did that happen? She was never like that with guys. "Tomorrow works. What time?"

Angelus smiled. "If we leave here by 10:00 then we can get there by lunch."

"10:00 works." She whispered with a smile. She said goodbye, hanging up with phone and slowly turned around towards her closet, her eyes suddenly got large when she remembered that she would have to pack tonight! She tossed her phone onto her bed, running out of her bedroom and down the stairs yelling for her mom.

Joyce ran out of the kitchen into the dining room, worried that something was wrong. "What is it, Buffy? Are you hurt?"

Faith came running out of the kitchen right behind Joyce, still holding Dawn. "Yo, B! Where's the fire?"

"Angel's dad had a business trip come up and now they want us to go there even sooner so that his dad doesn't miss out on meeting me for the first time with his mom and we are leaving tomorrow morning and now I have to pack!" She rushed out. "I don't know what to pack!"

Joyce blinked a few times, trying to process what her daughter was saying. She wasn't even sure she understood everything because she was talking so fast. "You are leaving tomorrow now, instead?"

Buffy nodded quickly with large eyes.

"Angel?" Faith and Dawn asked looking at each other before turning to look at the blonde.

Buffy let out a deep breath, realizing once again she called him Angel but this time she didn't catch herself in time to cover it up. "That is what you are focusing on? I'm leaving tomorrow morning and I don't know what to pack!"

Joyce smiled at her oldest daughter, it was clear to her how important it was to her daughter to meet this young man's family. She could see how important Angelus was to her daughter. "Just breath, Buffy." Joyce rubbed Buffy's back gently. "We will help you pack."

Buffy let out a sigh of relief as she turned around to go back upstairs with her mother behind her. She could hear as Faith and Dawn followed up the stairs saying something about dinner.
