Chloe waits by her car as Lucifer from the other world gets out of Lux. She folds her arms to her chest as the dark haired Devil walks to the passenger side. She says, "I hope Amenadiel and you had a heart to heart conversation."
Lucifer clasps his hands on the roof of the car to say, "Not what I was expecting when seeing him."
"Oh okay." Chloe says as she opens the door, "And I just got a hit on a Claire Blench who lives near from where our victim lives. Let's head out and question before the sun goes up."
Lucifer gets in as they head off to a nursing home right near where Steven Killigan lived. As they park in the lot and get out, Lucifer grumbles, "Of all places, we get one with old people."
"I thought you would dig into old people. More of your style." Chloe jokes as she locks the car. Then she adds, "Plus Claire Blench is a resident here. Maybe she's his aunt or old friend?"
The Devil and detective step into the nursing home. Chloe goes to the receptionist at the desk. She says, "We're here for a Claire Blench."
The lady receptionist looks up at the two. She gives a boring glance at Chloe as she doesn't have time for this. The receptionist says, "It's late for visitors, ma'am. Sorry and not sorry."
Chloe isn't about to give up when she leans over to Lucifer and says, "You may want to do your mojo on her."
"What mojo?" Lucifer smiles as he tries to stretch it.
The receptionist turns her gaze from Chloe to Lucifer as she outright says, "Anything."
Lucifer leans into her as he says with a grin, "Don't mind the boring human, darling. Can you tell us where Claire Blench is?"
"At a price." The lady says.
"Name your cost and I will certainly deliver it." Lucifer smiles.
She stands up face to face with Lucifer as she traces her finger on his closely shaven beard. She answers, "A kiss."
She kisses Lucifer before he could say anything. Lucifer puts his hands on her both of her cheeks to sell it. Chloe sighs as she feels cheated by Lucifer. Lucifer pulls back as he looks at her with no emotion. Then he says out loud, "Onward to Claire."
The Devil goes off before the receptionist could answer after staring dreamily at him. Chloe asks, "Mind if you could tell us where Claire is? My partner and I really need to talk to her. If you don't mind."
"Partner...?" The receptionist blinks as she adds, "Third door on the left."
"Thanks." Chloe says with an upset tone. She yells at Lucifer, "Lucifer, the other way!"
Lucifer turns back and passes by her while saying, "I know!"
Chloe follows behind as they both go into the room which happens to have two women in the room. The door is open as Lucifer steps in. A woman yells in surprise as Lucifer pulls a blue curtain so Chloe couldn't see. In a sudden panic, Chloe quickly dashes to stop anything from what Lucifer from the other world is doing to her.
The woman in bed appears to be young with jet black hair and in a blue gown. Her wrist has a clear wire from a pump. She had fainted after her yell before Chloe could walk in. She eyes Lucifer sharply as she says, "Now our suspect is unconscious because of you surprising her!"
Lucifer picks up a clipboard attached to the end of the bed. He waves at Chloe trying to get her to stop yelling at him. He mutters, "This woman clearly doesn't have the balls to at least be interrogated."
Chloe shakes her head as she retorts, "You're really going to say that? We were going to question her. Now we don't have any leads thanks to you!"
"Human, I'm sure-" Lucifer says.
"I am Detective Decker and I won't listen to another word, Lucifer." Chloe says in a frustrated voice as she opens the curtain to step out, "You cost us both this case."
"I mean... Detective Decker. She's going to wake up any minute now." Lucifer says calmly says as he puts the clipboard of files down.
Chloe steps back in and asks, "Really?"
A few moments later, the passed out woman abruptly wakes up. Lucifer says, "See there is our suspect!"
Chloe shakes her head as she smiles. She quietly stands beside Lucifer to face Claire Bench who was wide eyed in the medical bed. At least now, they can get a lead on who killed Steven Killigan.
