Chapter 26

"The gender of your baby is a boy!" Wendy said while jumping up and down. Laxus had a big shit eating grin on his face. Lucy was smiling with happy tears running down her face.

"Now we need to think of a name for our baby." She said while looking at Laxus. He thought about it for a moment.

"I like Laxus Jr., or Raiden." Lucy smiled at his choices. She wanted to use one of his choices, but right now he couldn't decide on which one she liked more.

"I like both of them Laxus. We still have two more months until the baby is due. We will figure it out by then." He nodded and gave her a kiss. They went back to their table where their team was waiting to hear the gender.

"Well, what are you guys having Lulu!"

"We are having a boy." Lucy said as she sat down next to Evergreen. They congratulated Laxus and Lucy on having a boy. "Laxus we should announce it to the rest of the guild." They walked to the railing to announce the gender of the baby.

"Hey everyone listen up!" Laxus shouted. When everyone was looking towards him, he said, "We found out the gender of our baby. We are having a boy!" The whole guild cheered, and decided to turn it into a party. Lucy just smiled and shook her head; the guild will use the smallest good news to have a party.

After a couple hours Lucy was ready to go home, she was feeling tired and hungry. She went to find Laxus to see if they could grab food to go. She found him talking with Gildarts and Gajeel. "Hey Laxus, I'm starting to feel tired and hungry, would you be ready to go home with me?" He nodded. "I was thinking, let's grab food here before going home."

"Sure babe, if that's what you want to do." They went to the bar to order food from Mira. Once they had their food, they waved bye as they left the guild. Once home they sat on the couch and watched tv, while they ate dinner.

Once dinner was done, Laxus gave Lucy the celestial key. She hugged it to her before adding to her other keys. "I can't wait to see if I can call the spirit and make a contract with him!"

"I'm curious to meet the spirit as well. But you have to wait until the baby is born."

"I know, I can't wait to meet our boy." Lucy smiled and placed her hand on her stomach. Laxus placed his hand over hers. Lucy yawned and leaned against him. He smiled down at her, then picked her up and carried her upstairs. Once upstairs, they changed and went to sleep.

The next morning after eating and getting ready they went to the guild. On the way to the guild, they decided it would be a good idea to go shopping for baby stuff.

"SURPRISE!" The whole guild yelled when they walked into the guild a couple minutes later. It had blue balloons everywhere and balloons that said It's A Boy! Lucy could only smile with tears in her eyes. She looked all over and seen a table with tons of presents, another table that had food and drinks.

"Did you know about this Laxus?" He just shook his head while smiling.

"We set this up last night after you guys left for the night." Gramps said.

"Thank you, Gramps, and everyone. This means a lot to me and Laxus." Lucy said, voice wavering with the emotions she was feeling. Mira walked over and asked if Lucy and Laxus needed anything. Lucy asked for a milkshake, Laxus asked for a pop.

"Time to open gifts!" Natsu yelled with a big grin on his face.

"Not yet Natsu, we will eat first and we have a couple games planned." Mira said. Laxus went first and got himself and Lucy a plate. Once they had their plates, everyone else went and got food. After everyone finished, they started their first game, bingo.

"Okay there are five presents to give away to winners! First number is 15." Mira said. After the third time of not winning, Natsu burned his paper to ashes and sat there pouting. Lisanna just shook her head. She ended up winning the last prize for bingo, a weekend getaway to a spa.

Once the games were over, it was time to open presents. Erik gave his gift first, he got them a crib, the mattress and some sheets. Mira got them a mobile for the crib and some clothes. Elfman bought them a mountain of diapers and wipes. Natsu and Lisanna got them a changing table. Evergreen got them baby toys and clothes. Freed got them books for the baby, and a rocking chair. Bix got them a stroller and some stuffed animals. Erza got them a baby bathtub. By the time they opened everything, they had a ton of clothes from new born up to 12 months, tons of toys, and everything else they would need and more.

Lucy summoned Virgo, "punishment princess?"

"No Virgo, but could you please take all the gifts to our house." Virgo nodded. It took her a couple trips but she got everything to the house and set up in the nursery that all of her spirits set up for her.

"Princess, everything is moved and set up."

"Thank you, Virgo, but you didn't have to set it up. We still need to decorate the room for the baby."

"Princess, that is our gift to you. Me, and all of your spirits painted the room and set it up with Stitch. We heard you and Laxus talk about it the other day."

"Thank you so much Virgo, please tell the others that I said thank you as well." Virgo bowed and then went back to the spirit world.

"I can't wait to see the baby's room when we get home!" Laxus nodded and smiled, he knew that the spirits were going to paint the baby's room and set up the theme she wanted. Now that the shower was over, Laxus went up to his office to finish some paper work. Lucy sat with her old team to see how they have been. After talking with them for a while, she went up to Laxus's office, she was feeling tired.

After he finished his work, he woke Lucy up and took her home. Lucy was so excited to see the nursery. Once home, the first place she went is to the nursery, she loved it. It was perfect.

"We have one spoiled baby." She said with a laugh.

"Yes we do, but can't expect less when we have an amazing family." He said and kissed the top of her head. "Why don't you relax and I will make us dinner."

They went downstairs, she watched tv while he cooked dinner. After dinner she took a bath, and got ready for bed. Laxus wrapped his arm around her and they fell into a peaceful sleep.

-2 Months Later-

It was baby time! Laxus was trying his best not to panic, while carrying Lucy to the infirmary. Her contractions were ten minutes apart. Wendy and Porlyusica were waiting for Lucy. They helped her change into a gown and got her settled on the bed. She wished Laxus could be in the room with her, but Porlyusica wouldn't allow him.

Shortly after laying in the bed, contractions Her contractions were now six minutes apart. All she knew is she was over this and ready to meet her baby boy.

-12 Hours Later-

Lucy was holding her baby when Laxus walked in. She smiled tiredly at him. "Meet your son, Raiden."

Laxus smiled, kissed Lucy and then his son. "I love you Lucy. You gave me the greatest gift."

"Do you want to hold him?" Laxus nodded. Lucy explained how to put his arms so he could hold his son. Lucy couldn't help but smile at seeing Laxus holding their son. "Can we wait until tomorrow to introduce him to everyone?"

"Of course, but can we at least let Gramps come in?" She nodded, "Wendy will you go get him for me, he should be in his office." Wendy nodded and went to get Gramps.

"After he comes and sees the baby, we will show you the best way to hold your baby while you breast feed him, and then I will take my leave."

"Thank you, Porlyusica." Lucy said. Porlyusica just nodded, and went to sit in the chair across the room. Wendy and Gramps walked in at that time.

"Let me see my great grandson!" Gramps said with a smile. As soon as he seen him, he started crying. "He is perfect you two. Thank you for making me a grandpa again. What is his name?" He sat next to Laxus and held Raiden.

"His name is Raiden." Lucy said. Gramps thought for a second, then smiled and nodded.

"Great name. I'm going to let you two spend some quality time together. I will come back tomorrow if that is okay."

"Of course, please let the guild know that they can meet Raiden tomorrow. Lucy wants it to just be us for today, and she is tired and needs to rest." Gramps nodded and left to give the news.

Porlyusica and Wendy taught Lucy the best way to breast feed Raiden, and then took their leave. Once he was down feeding and burped, he fell asleep. Laxus took him and put him in the bassinet next to Lucy's bed. Lucy yawned, ready to get some rest herself.

"You get some rest babe, I will check in on both you in a little while. I have some paper work that needs done." Lucy gave him a kiss and smiled at him.

"I love you Laxus."

"I love you Luce."

She smiled at their son, happy that he is finally here. She couldn't be happier. She fell asleep thinking how lucky she was to have a family of her own.
