Let's start with the story, shall we?*
Chapter 14
"Midoriya, this is looking really bad…" Mineta whispered towards the green haired male as they floated in the floater. They were warped onto a shipwreck with villains surrounding them. Luckily, with Izuku's plan, they managed to get away with only his broken finger as an injury.
"Mizuki-chan won't be able to keep them at bay. She's in trouble, ribbit," Tsuyu spoke up as she took in the scene in front of her. Mizuki supported Aizawa by standing in front of him protectively while the three villains stood on the opposite side. The situation looked bad.
"Mi-chan…" Izuku murmured and clenched his fists by his side as he gritted his teeth. He was shaking, his body cold and fear rocketing through his system. He thought things were bad when Aizawa was beneath the villain, but now it was worse.
Mizuki heroically swooped in and gotten rid of the villains, proclaiming that she wasn't leaving Aizawa alone. She kept smirking, the nervousness flashing in her red eyes and he could see her trying to figure out a plan to get away. She managed to fend off the one's attack but there was still the creature that injured Aizawa and the warp male.
He needed to do something to help her, but they couldn't go up against villains that Aizawa couldn't even beat. If they could separate them, then maybe they could make a big enough distraction for everyone to make a run for it…
"Nomu…" Shigaraki spoke up and the creature responded. "Kill her."
The trio in the water's eyes widened at Shigaraki's words, Izuku's heartbeat briefly stopping and his eyes widening in horror. Kill… Mi-chan…? He thought in terror, the other two next to him in the same state.
"No! Mizuki, run!" Aizawa called and pushed himself onto weak knees. His hair floated up as he activated his Quirk while Mizuki gritted her teeth. This was it. This was real. They were out for her life. Even if she did run, they would come after her. She was in trouble.
Mizuki barely blinked before the dark creature appeared in front of her, his fist pulled back. Mizuki managed to bring up one arm to block. The blow was bone crushing, sending her crashing backwards through the trees and even through a piece of concrete.
She coughed up blood, the bones in her right arm completely shattered, the blood pouring down, she could feel the cracking of some of her ribs and a nasty bruise coloured on her cheek. She crashed hard into the ground, blood running down her mouth and nose.
Shit! That hurts! She bit her bottom lip to prevent herself from crying out in pain because of breathing. She looked at her mangled arm and cursed. She barely blinked when the thing attacked her.
Despite trying to block the impact, her right side was broken and bruised, her arm the worst. He was insanely strong and she feared that it was only a tip of the iceberg. She barely had time to think when the creature came flying down on her, its legs aiming at her body.
Mizuki narrowly dodged by rolling onto her stomach, hissing at the pain in her chest. She let out an explosion that pushed her off the ground and used her momentum to land on the ground. She breathed with great difficulty, the pain excruciating and sweat falling down the side of her face.
She didn't stand a chance against this thing, whatever it was. She thought that Aizawa would've erased his Quirk but it didn't look like that was happening. It was only her against this thing that wanted to take her life.
Mizuki let out a light laugh with a winch as she smirked. "You want my life, yeah? Well, come and get it!" Mizuki yelled towards it, her body heating up drastically. She gritted her teeth at the rocketing pain.
The creature attacked once again, but this time, she moved out of the way beforehand. A grenade appeared in front of the creature and she grinned, the pin between her teeth as a stun grenade went off.
It was my last grenade. If this was a combat training session I would've brought more. This one will have to do. Mizuki used explosions in her feet to carry her away fast when the creature emerged, its eyes rolling around and landing on her.
It didn't work?! Are you shitting me?! What the hell is this thing?! Mizuki thought and choked when its hand grabbed her face and slammed her into the ground. She could hear cracking sounds, her vision spinning and her eyes wide at the pain.
"…it's a power that can kill easily. Some of you have Quirks like that, right…?"
At this moment, it didn't matter if it could kill or not. It didn't matter if she burnt away her own cells. It was either her life or this inhumane thing that wanted to kill her. She didn't have time to think about another plan. She would burn this thing to ashes.
Mizuki's body heated up more, the tubes in her costume becoming white and then started to crack. She brought her hand up slowly and then made it clasp around the creature's hand that held her face with crushing pressure.
"DIE!" She yelled, her entire body becoming white as a piercing explosion erupted from her body the temperature causing the tubes to break. She cried out as the large explosion engulfed them both and destroyed a large area around them.
"T-That's…" Izuku watched in amazement at the familiar attack, the whiteness reminding him of the day of the sludge villain accident. His eyes looked at the villains and Aizawa who stared at the explosion with wide eyes.
"Now, Mineta, Tsuyu-chan! While they're distracted, go and find the others," Izuku said, the two looking up at him with confused eyes. "I'm going to see where I can help Aizawa Sensei and Mi-chan," he added and pushed himself out of the water, running to where Mizuki was.
Aizawa's eyes were wide as he watched the explosion reach into the sky, the whiteness blinding where he stood. He managed to summon enough strength to run towards the area where the explosion erupted from.
Be alright, Kid! Don't you dare die on me!
"Aizawa Sensei!" His eyes snapped towards Midoriya who ran up towards him. His eyes widened at the presence of the young student. Why were all his students coming here? It was dangerous! Why were they all this reckless?!
"Midoriya, get out of here!"
"Sensei, I'm going to have to excuse myself for not listening to you," Izuku said and Aizawa's eyes narrowed. "Mi-chan's going to be in trouble because her body's going to overheat after using this attack."
Aizawa, knowing the stubborn boy next to him won't listen, grunted. If it was a move that made her overheat, it means that it was the only she could defend herself. They needed to get her away from the creature and fast.
They came to a stop when he arrived at the area where smoke emerged. There was movement in the smoke and he walked closer, his eyes catching sight of a familiar ash blonde. Izuku felt tears of relief sting his eyes but it was quickly replaced by terror.
Mizuki breathed heavy, blood streaming down her face and her arm hung mangled by her side. Her red eyes shone brightly as she stared in front of her. Her costume was damaged and nearly burnt away.
"Mi-" A gasp cut Izuku off from calling her name when he saw the creature emerge from the smoke. Most of its body was blown to smithereens by the explosion, only half of the upper body and its head left.
Mizuki did this much damage?
Mizuki gritted her teeth and tried to inhale, the pain making her bit back a cry. She could feel the heat from her body spiking and cursed. This was the one problem that she didn't take into an account when she designed the costume.
I guess it's not as perfect as I thought. Mizuki thought dryly and caught sight of her right arm. She couldn't move anything, only pain was present and large amount of blood that pooled down the side. She needed to stop the bleeding and fast.
She then ripped off her belt and with much annoyance, managed to put it around her arm using her mouth and other hand. She pulled her head to the side as she tightened the belt around the limb, yelling into the material as tears stung her eyes.
She let out a shaky breath and forced away her tears. She looked up at the burnt creature in front of her. It looked at her with its beady eyes, its inhumane built keeping him alive. This fight wasn't over yet.
She felt the wetness on her face and noticed the blood dripping down from the head injury she sustained when he slammed her into the ground. She didn't have anything to stop it and knew that if it was deep, she would be in big trouble.
"Alright, bastard. Looks like I'll have to rise the temperature to burn the rest of your sorry ass," Mizuki rasped out, a smirk still daring to cover her lips. She could feel her body protest, her muscle fibres burning and she could feel a fever being suppressed by sheer willpower.
"What's going on here? How is this possible? How can a kid blow up half of Nomu?!" Shigaraki yelled out angrily as he stepped out of a warp along with Kurogiri. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. How could a mere student have this much power?! It was impossible!
He looked at the brat and saw the exhaustion. She was barely standing on her shaky legs. Both her costume and her body were damaged because of the explosion. She was practically knocking on death's door and yet she was grinning like she had won the fight. It was infuriating.
Mizuki's grin twitched when she saw the creature body pulse. Her eyes widened in disbelief when she saw that his body was started to grow back. His cells morphed and rapidly repaired his body back to its normal state.
"He can regenerate? Super body enhancement isn't its Quirk?!" Izuku exclaimed, his skin paling at what was happening. He didn't expect the creature to survive such a highly heated and large-scale attack from Mizuki.
No… That wasn't it. This thing, this bio-engineered creature as Shigaraki said, had more than one Quirk. That's why he couldn't erase it. Aizawa realized and gritted his teeth. This creature that they created had imbodied more than one Quirk. It was something unseen for and not possible.
"Y-you're j-joking r-right…?" Mizuki took a step back in retreat, a gleam of fear flashing through her eyes. Not only was this thing insanely strong and fast, it could use super regeneration? What was with that? Was that even real?
She felt a pain shoot through her legs and gasped as she froze on the spot. Her body screamed at her and no matter how much she pushed against it, she couldn't move. Her entire body trembled and refused to move.
Damn it! Move! Move!
Shigaraki burst out laughing and grinned evilly beneath the hand that covered his face. "Looks like she's completely exhausted! Too bad he can regenerate, otherwise she might've won. Watch her face! It's filled with fear!" He laughed loudly as he watched tears form in her eyes.
Mizuki's tears weren't tears of fear. They were tears of frustration. Frustration that this was where she was going to die. Frustration that this was all she could do. Frustration that she could never reach her dream. Frustration that she wouldn't be able to stay by the side of her loved ones.
The Nomu moved as soon as it finished regeneration and set its eyes on Mizuki. It pulled its fist back and Mizuki looked up at it, her one eye half open and her vision filled with black spots. She gritted her teeth as it moved and knew this was it.
"DAMN IT!" Mizuki yelled out as the fist neared her. She watched as it neared, her red eyes looking straight at death. She could see everything in a flash, her entire life. Her parents, her brother, her best friends, her classmates, her teachers. Everything coming to an end.
I don't want to die! Mizuki yelled out in her mind, tears falling freely down her face, everything slowing down. A teardrop slowly fell onto the ground as she closed her eyes and waited for the final blow.
It never came.
Mizuki clenched her eyes tightly as she waited for death to take her, but nothing happened. She hesitantly opened her eyes. She looked at the fist right in front of her face, a few inches away from its destination. She dared to look up at the creature, it seeming to push but nothing happening.
"What's Nomu doing? Kill her already!" Shigaraki yelled out angrily, stomping on the ground as he did so. "I told you to kill her, didn't I?!" He shouted, his breathing heavy as he lost his temper staring at the scene.
"It…can't move," Kurogiri stated behind him, earning a growl. "I'm serious. It can't move. It's almost as if its power Quirk has been nullified that causes him not to move." Shigaraki clicked his tongue in irritancy.
"That stupid Eraserhead!"
"He's not using his Quirk." Shigaraki looked at the teacher his hair down and his eyes merely wide at the scene. "He didn't erase its Quirk and before, he wasn't able to stop it from attacking her. Eraser Head isn't the one who did it," Kurogiri stated.
"Then who the hell did?! Did the brat next to him do it?!" Shigaraki snarled angrily as he looked around. "Argh! They keep appearing like pests!" He yelled out while Kurogiri eyed the scene sceptically.
Mizuki's eyes widened when the creature was suddenly strapped by a familiar capturing cloth and pulled backwards. She saw Aizawa stand on the side, his hair in the air and bit her bottom lip as relief washed over her. He saved her by activating his Quirk. He saved her life.
"Don't get any closer to my student, Villain!"
You're really cool, Eraser…head… Mizuki's body finally gave in and she collapsed onto the ground, her vision darkening drastically. She looked at Aizawa as he pulled back the Villain with enough force to have him dig his heels into the ground.
"Don't stand in my way, Deku!"
"I'm here to help too!"
"Take this, Villain!"
Mizuki's one open eye widened when she saw three figures jumped above her, straight towards the Nomu. Izuku and Eijiro gave it a solid facial hit and Katsuki let out a concentrated explosion right after them.
The creature, however, was unfazed by the attack and went to counter. There was a sudden crackling sound and, in a flash, the Nomu was frozen solid. Shoto also coming to the scene as he let out an icy breath.
"More pests have arrived, it seems… Shigaraki, it looks like the boy stood next to Eraserhead as a different Quirk, a power Quirk," Kurogiri said and Shigaraki scowled, his frustration growing as his confusion grew.
"The only people who were there were us, that hero, the boy and the girl! There wasn't-" He snapped around to see the broken and bruised girl. "Hey, hey, hey, how is that even possible?!" he asked his companion, but didn't receive an answer.
"K-Kat…suki…"
"Mizuki!" Katsuki rushed over towards his gravely injured sister and gently lifted her up from the ground with one hand under her head and the other one around her middle. Her body fell against his, her one eye barely open. She could only hear muffled sounds, her vision fading in and out.
"M-Mi-chan… Kacchan, she used the white explosion technique again. Her body's probably overheating by now," Izuku murmured, tears in his eyes as he stared at his best friend's injured state. The blood had started to dry from the limb, the belt keeping her from bleeding but the blood from her head injury wasn't stopping.
Katsuki's eyes widened at Izuku's words and he looked down at his sister, her face slightly flushed and her body warm against him. It didn't seem like she has completely overheating but he feared that it would escalate.
"Overheating? Midoriya, what do you mean by that?"
"Mi-chan has a technique that pushes her body beyond its normal high temperature and she lets out a blinding explosion. Her body can't handle the repercussion and it causes her to overheat," Izuku explained, Eijiro's eyes widened.
"Is it like a white explosion that pierces through stuff?" He asked, Katsuki and Izuku's eyes shooting towards the male in surprise. "She used it at the entrance exam. She couldn't walk afterwards because of the hyperthermia in her legs. I didn't know she could do it over her entire body…"
"I can help." Shoto had everyone's attention as he held out his hand, icy steam emerging from his skin. "If she's overheating, then I can cool her down and keep her temperature under control," he said and Izuku's eyes widened, Katsuki's grip on his sister tightening protectively.
There was a cracking of the ice that imprisoned the Nomu and their eyes widened. Eijiro and Izuku gave Katsuki a pleading look, the male gritting his teeth as the ice cracked more and the broke loose, the Nomu towering them.
"DIE!" Katsuki yelled out, letting out a furry of explosions against the Nomu, pushing it back. "Half-and-Half Bastard! If anything happens to her, you're next!" His eyes didn't look back at Shoto as the male held onto Mizuki.
Mizuki shivered against the coolness, her body aching. She looked up at the person who held her and felt his grip on her tightened as he let his Quirk cool down her heating body. He glanced down at the female intensely and frowned.
"I-Ice…?" He nodded at her question and was about to move, but the Nomu broke free from the explosions, its hand reaching for Katsuki. It was then caught by capturing strands and kicked away by Aizawa who appeared.
"Sensei!" Izuku and Eijiro called out towards the male, relief smiles on their faces. Katsuki clicked his tongue in irritancy and turned back towards Shoto who held his sister. She was still conscious, yet holding onto it with a string.
"It's fine now!" There was a sudden eruption from the top of USJ. A thick tension formed in the air as an enormous presence came to everyone's attention. The Villains glanced up, Shigaraki scowling at the hero's appearance.
The rest, except Mizuki, looked up to see All Might standing there. He made it. He was here. Relief flooded their systems until they all saw his facial expression, shivers running down everyone's spines.
"I am here!" He wasn't smiling.
"Todoroki, take Mizuki. We'll handle the rest this side. Make sure that you keep her safe. You too, Bakugou, Midoriya, Kirishima," Aizawa said and they nodded at the injured hero. Mizuki weakly look up at him and mustered up a smile.
"Told you…back up…was…coming…"
Mizuki's body went limp and panic flooded through them. "Mizuki! Hey, Mizuki! Damn it, she's out cold! Bakugou, let's get her out of here," Eijiro said and Bakugou grunted. Mizuki's breathing was uneven as she laid with her head against Shoto's chest and they needed to get her medical help.
Aizawa stared at the girl as she lay in her brother's arms and then looked back at the villains. He glanced at the blue skinned creature and his brows furrowed as he recalled what happened. It was unable to move and the reason wasn't linked to his or Izuku's Quirk.
It was because of Mizuki.
There was a gush of wind that blew passed them and before they knew it, All Might gave a solid blow to the villains standing in front of them. His back then stood towards the group, his metallic blue eyes glancing over his shoulder, his anger flaring when he saw the two injured.
"Aizawa Sensei, please take care of the rest of the students. I'll take care of the Villains," All Might spoke up and Aizawa nodded. He gave the boys one look and then ran off, Katsuki and Eijiro following.
"All Might…" Izuku trailed off, looking at the male he admired so dearly. The hero glanced back at him and then nodded. They had an entire conversation and understanding in the silent moment before Izuku ran after the rest.
He was worried about the male, knowing that they were out to kill him and that there had to be a reason they were this confident. However, he trusted in the number one hero and knew that his strength was far more than anyone knew.
"Kurogiri." The male warped and Shigaraki used the opportunity to appear on the side of the retreating group. Katsuki's eyes widened when he saw the cracked hand reaching out for his sister, a sinister grin showing beneath the hand on his face.
"I don't think so!" Aizawa already erased the Quirk and then grabbed the male's hand. He was pulled through the warping gate and thrown into the air. Meanwhile, Katsuki let out an explosion towards the warping gate, grabbing his brace as he slammed him down.
"Don't you dare touch her, Foggy Nobody!" Katsuki snarled angrily and then gave him a crazed smirk. "You, careless, Bastard. You're just what I'd thought you'd be, covering your actual body that couldn't turn into the mist. Back then, you gave yourself away. You better not move an inch or I'll blow you to pieces!"
Aizawa was silently grateful for Katsuki's quick instincts and with his threat, Kurogiri wouldn't even think of moving. He glanced back at Eijiro and Izuku who stood with protectively with his hardening in front of Shoto and Mizuki.
"Get her out of here!" He ordered them and the males briefly hesitated. They reluctantly ran off with the injured girl, Katsuki not shifting his attention from the male beneath his fingertips. As long as he could feel her presence from within him, he knew she would be alright.
Shigaraki snarled at the hero standing in his way. He needed to get rid of the girl as soon as possible before she became more of a nuisance. He needed to kill her now but this irritancy kept getting in his way.
Aizawa frowned deeply and took a stance, glaring at the male as his companion appeared behind him. They were after Mizuki and why, he didn't know. They wanted to get rid of her and he wasn't going to let them touch her.
She was abused and beaten up enough. She faced the Nomu head on without ever running away and didn't let her spirit be beaten. She had been burdened enough. He wasn't letting the League of Villains get what they want.
"Eraserhead… You… Are you protecting her because she's your student?" Shigaraki asked as he scratched his neck. "Or is it something else…?" He said and realization dawned upon Aizawa as his eyes narrowed at them.
He saw it too.
"You've done enough damage to my student. I won't let you touch her or anyone else," Aizawa answered. The male stopped scratching his neck and then started to scratch with both hands. Aizawa glanced back to see the distance and exhaled.
He had to protect them. He had to protect her.
There was a loud crash next to them, an enormous shockwave soon following. Aizawa looked at the side, All Might standing up slowly and the Nomu nowhere to be seen. Katsuki growled at the sudden wind, sparks on her fingertips to warn the Villain.
"Kacchan!" Izuku's voice reached his eyes, his red eyes staring at the creature that appeared in front of him. He didn't even see him move until he was right there and neither did his teachers who stared with wide eyes.
"Midoriya!" Eijiro called when the male vanished from the spot where he ran next to them. He had both males look back, their eyes staring at disbelief when they saw him pulling back his punch right next to the Nomu.
"Smash!" Izuku yelled out, this time, not holding back as he punched the creature out of the way and into the water. The water exploded to the sides from the crash while Izuku gritted his teeth from the broken and bruised legs and arm.
Katsuki was speechless as he watched the green haired male land on his face a few feet from him. He could feel his ability to breath return to him, his heart hammering in his ears as he tried to find his words.
"Deku, you…"
In another flash, the two boys sat next to Eijiro and Shoto. All Might stood a few feet in front of them, his breathing slightly heavy and his smile still nowhere to be seen. The creature slowly came out of the water, its head bobbing slightly to the side.
"Thank you for helping against the Villains, Young Men. I'll take things from here. I'll leave Young Mizuki in your trusting hands," All Might spoke as he then dug his feet into the ground and charged straight towards the Nomu.
"I…I didn't see anything…" Katsuki said in a breathless tone as he clenched his fists by his sides. He didn't see anything happening until Izuku jumped to save him. He hadn't even seen when the Nomu moved until it was too late. Katsuki stared at Izuku, disbelief filling him.
"Midoriya, are you alright?! Your legs…" Eijiro said as he looked at the green haired boy's broken legs, Izuku gritting his own teeth in pain. He was glad that he was able to react beforehand and save Katsuki, the pain in return making him mentally curse.
"Kirishima, help Midoriya. We have to go before we're dragged into this fight any further," Shoto spoke up, everyone's attention moving towards the male who held Mizuki. Eijiro nodded, helping up the green haired male as Katsuki stood up.
"S-Sorry, Kirishima-kun."
"Don't worry about it!" Eijiro replied with a reassuring grin and Izuku gave him a grateful one in return. Katsuki scoffed as he walked past them and joined Shoto's side when they walked on, a scowl forming on his lips.
"Damn it, the bleeding isn't stopping… You better not die on me, you hear me?! Mizuki!" Katsuki yelled at his sister's unconscious form in Shoto's arms, his white uniform stained. He hated the fact that he ran away from the fight but right now, how sister was his main priority.
"It looks really bad, Bakugou. She looked like she's in a lot of pain," Eijiro stated as he stared worriedly at the ash blonde female. He felt his heart break in pieces at the state she was left in, his stomach churning.
"Don't you think I know that, idiot!"
"Wait, Kacchan, stand still. We have to stop the bleeding," Izuku said, halting his childhood friend. Katsuki was about to snap back at him but heard a soft moan coming from Mizuki as Shoto decreased his temperature.
"Todoroki, what are you-""I can lower the temperature enough to make the bleeding slow down. It shouldn't be harmful to her since she's fighting against a fever. It should help break the overheating in her body too," Shoto cut off the redhead.
"Ah, good thinking, Todoroki!" Eijiro complimented while Katsuki scowled. He was already hating the fact that Mizuki had to be carried by Shoto but having him being all smart about her medical condition pissed him off.
"Todoroki-kun! Over here!" Ochaco called as she waved over towards them when they finished climbing the stairs. Shoto's grip on Mizuki tightened as he walked over towards the group. For some odd reason, he felt a wave of protectiveness wash over him.
"Uraraka-san! I'm glad to see you're alright!" Izuku said and smiled when he saw her. He saw Mineta and Tsuyu already with the rest and let out a breath. They made a break for it as soon as he attacked the villain.
"Yeah, we're all alright-Mizuki-san!" Ochaco called out in panic when she saw the unconscious female in her brother's arms. Tears sprung from her eyes and her hands flew to her mouth to silence the gasp that wanted to escape her lips.
"W-What happened?"
"How the hell should I know?!" Katsuki snapped at the question, veins palpitating out of his skin. "She was beaten up by one of the stupid villains!" They let out a sigh. He said he didn't know but he still answered them.
"Those wounds are terrible," Thirteen spoke up as she walked towards them. "We're going to have to get her to the infirmary as soon as possible." Izuku frowned as he looked down at his dear friend, his chest giving a painful squeeze.
"Deku-kun, you too. Did you break your legs again?" Ochaco asked and he gave her a sheepish look. She knew his tactics too well. Then again, with Eijiro holding him as he was and his legs dangling, it was clear what he had done.
Katsuki stayed with Mizuki, not wanting to leave her side. He feared that if he let her go, he would lose her. She did something reckless and gotten hurt. He hated it. he hated it that he wasn't there. He hated that he couldn't protect her. He was going to give her one hell of a scolding when she woke up.
"It's not your fault," Eijiro spoke up and the ash blonde male's eyes briefly widened at the voice. "I'm sure that she kicked some serious ass and even gave the villains a run for their money. It's not your fault she's injured."
"I know that, Shitty Hair," Katsuki stated calmly, his brows furrowing as his eyes gleamed with worry. Izuku sadly smiled at Katsuki's lack of aggression. He was concerned about Mizuki the most, yet tried his best to hide it.
Eijiro looked at Mizuki's pained expression and wanted to clench his fists by his side. She fought against the villains with what seemed to be some help from Aizawa and still ended up like this. She was going to be okay. She had to be.
Shoto watched the two converse and then eyed Mizuki. He could feel the heat coming off her body began to subside. Frost lightly covered his right side as he kept his temperature low. He needed to keep her stable until the medics came.
To think the unconscious and seriously injured girl that laid in his arms was the same girl who won the combat training against him. He had a feeling that she put up a great deal of a fight against the Villains. After all, she hated it when people looked down on her.
There was a sudden rupture coming from the fight with All Might and Eijiro, with Izuku on his back ran to the edge of where the staircase began. Some of the students joined them as they watched the smoke screens that emerged, All Might giving his all in the fight with the Nomu while Aizawa fought the other two villains.
There was a disturbance in the wind, everyone's eyes resting on the fight that between All Might and the Nomu. Aizawa and the other two Villains were pushed back by the force of the fight, no one able to interfere.
Izuku's eyes were wide as he watched their teacher brawl it out with the creature. The creature didn't stand a chance against All Might who kept pushing back. He pushed himself passed what his limit could be, bleeding while giving his all.
All Might isn't aiming randomly. Every single hit…is more than 100% of his power! Izuku thought, his eyes wide in realization and wonder. He observed as the Nomu was thrown back, All Might crushing the ground beneath him as he landed.
"A hero can always break out of a tough spot!" All Might yelled out, everyone attention on the number one hero. "Hey, Villain, have you ever heard these words?" He pulled back his fist, a light emerging from it as he did so.
"Go beyond… Plus Ultra!"
The Villain was punched and the impact had its body almost exploding. The creature was sent straight through the ceiling and into the sky, its body vanishing with a blink. All Might breathed heavy, a grin plastered on his lips as he put a fist onto his chest.
So, this is the top… the world of pros… Izuku, Katsuki, Eijiro and Shoto thought simultaneously as they looked at the hole in the ceiling of the dome-like building. This was the reality. This was their ultimate goal.
There were sudden gunshots that went off, everyone glancing back at the entrance with their eyes widening. The Villains cursed, Shigaraki receiving a few bullet wounds from the hero that appeared with all the other teachers.
"Sorry, everyone. Sorry we're late! I gathered all who were immediately available," the school president spoke up, its voice stirring Mizuki. Shoto had his gaze on her as he felt her move, her one eye opening and a smirk forming on her face.
"I, Tenya Iida, Class 1-A deputy representative, have now returned!" Iida announced loudly, the students smiling with relief. Ochaco and Mina had tears in their eyes, Sero and Sato fist bumping with grins.
"S-Stupid…Acting…all cool…" She managed to say before falling into unconsciousness again. Shoto found himself letting out an unexpected chuckle in amusement. She barely woke up to snap at Iida and then slept again.
Some of the villains who were beaten up by Aizawa dared to stand up, all of them ready to attack the heroes who arrived. Present Mic clicked his tongue as he moved forward and inhaled deeply before letting loose an insanely loud yell.
The rest of the heroes took down those who didn't fall from the yell while the others were ordered to split up to protect the students who were still missing. It was over for the Villains. The reinforcements overwhelming them.
"Oh man. It's game over now…" Shigaraki said and looked back at his partner. "Shall we go home and try again later, Kurogir-?" He was shot several times once again, Kurogiri hastening his warping Quirk to retreat.
"Leave their capture to me!" Thirteen said, activating his black hole to stop the villains from escaping. This time, however, he went full throttle, giving his all trying to capture the two main trouble makers.
"I may have failed this time, but I will kill you next time… Symbol of Peace, All Might!" Shigaraki snarled, his eyes moving from All Might's steaming body towards the top of the staircase. They then managed to escape with their warp.
"Recovery Girl is on her way with emergency services," the president spoke up as he looked down at Mizuki's broken and beaten form. "Our first priority is keeping you all safe," he added and they nodded.
Shoto looked at all the heroes. "If this many pro heroes have gathered here, then it looks like they didn't attack the whole school," Shoto stated, Katsuki watching the male from the corner of his eyes but not saying anything.
"You've all done well. You don't have to worry about anything anymore. We'll sort out everything from here on out," Midnight said as she kneeled by them and gave them a reassuring smile. She didn't let it falter even as she looked at Mizuki.
Yet, her eyes said it all.
