Chapter 11 - Escaped from an island, Destroying Omnidroid
(Syndrome's base's – Cell Block 13)
Soon all the supers were held in electric prison with their metal ball cuffs. Syndrome flipped through channels, showing his Omnidroid where it crashed in a city.
"Huh? Huh? Oh, come on! You gotta admit, this is cool. Just like a movie!" Syndrome said.
"Way cooler than your hairstyle, yo!" Richard shouted at him as Syndrome grunted in annoyance and snaps his finger to make a guard at the control, electrocute him to shut up.
"Gahhh!" He yelled in agony.
"As I was saying… The robot will emerge dramatically, do some damage. Throngs of screaming people! And just when all hope seems lost, Syndrome will save the day! I'll be a bigger hero than you ever were!" Syndrome said glaring to Bob and Parker.
"You'll never be better than Arachnid or him!" Swift Ace glared, referring to Parker and Bob. "You mean you killed off real heroes so that you could pretend to be one?" Bob demanded.
"Oh, I'm real. Real enough to defeat you two! And I did it without your precious gifts, your oh-so-special powers." Syndrome said.
"You're just a madman! You're not becoming a real hero; you're an imposter!" Sabrina said as Syndrome's expression turned angrily at her.
"But you are!" He yelled, pointed at ex-partner and soften himself.
"Sabrina, I do this for you, but you betrayed me…" Syndrome then shook his head and forget about her.
"Anyways, I'll give them the most spectacular heroics anyone's ever seen! And when I'm old and I've had my fun, I'll sell my inventions so that everyone can be superheroes. Everyone can be super. And when everyone's super...no one will be." Syndrome said as he chuckles evilly and walked out of the room.
On screen they watched the massive black robot activate as it began blowing up the tanks that fired on them. Bob's head dropped down in shame and stare at the ground.
"I'm sorry. This is my fault. I've been a lousy father. Blind to what I have. So, obsessed with being undervalued that I undervalued all of you." Bob said, unaware of Violet created a force field to float free from her restraint as Richard and Dash noticed her.
"Um…Dad?" Dash asked.
"Shh. Don't interrupt." Helen said.
"We didn't mean to drag us into this. We're careless." Parker said.
"Careless? Why so careless? Look, son. You've been through a lot. It's not your fault neither with Bob." David said.
"So, caught up in the past that I... You are my greatest adventure. And I almost missed it. I swear, I'm gonna get us out of this safely if I..."
"Well." Violet said as they looked to see her besides the controls. "I think Dad has made some excellent progress today, but I think it's time we wind down now."
She then slammed a button as the machine shut off and the heroes got free.
"Violet, you are a clever girl." Sabrina admitted as she and Violet thumbs up back to each other.
(Hallway)
Soon the eight heroes ran down a hall as they rushed to stop Syndrome.
"We have to get back to the mainland!" Bob yelled.
"How did we get off this island?" Richard asked.
"Parker, David and I saw an aircraft hangar on our way in, straight ahead I think!" Helen said, unaware they are being watched by Mirage who considered a camera.
(Hangar)
Later Mr. Incredible broke open a door as he saw the air hangar empty. "Where are all the guards?" Bob asked.
"Go, go!" He whispered holding it open as the other heroes ran in as they heard guard's voices from a van as Mr. Incredible investigated the open door to see a man open a champagne bottle as the cork bounced and Bob caught it stands with Parker and they are smirked at all the men inside.
"It's payback time!" Parker said, cracking his knuckles and Bob dropped the cork and he closed the door behind.
Bob and Parker beat them as muffled grunts were heard from the rocking van.
Parker opened the door and Bob whistled for all clear and the heroes all ran past the van and checked all the empty hangars.
"This is the right hangar, but I don't see any jets." Helen said.
"A jet not fast enough." Bob said.
"What's faster than a jet?" Helen asked.
"Hey!" Dash called out to them all the way down by the rocket area.
"How about a rocket?" Bob and other heroes walked up to him and saw a spare rocket.
"Could it be work?" Richard asked.
"Great, I can't fly a rocket." Helen said.
"You don't have to, Elastigirl." Sabrina said.
"Just use the coordinates from the last launch." Violet added.
"Hang on. Syndrome must have changed the password by now." Parker said.
"But the big question is… How do we get into the computer?" Bob asked.
"Say please." They heard Mirage say in an intercom and looked up to see her at the launch control room.
(Metroville)
After take-off, the top of the rocket came off for the jet that would carry the machine but held in the large circular hole was the van being held up by Helen holding onto the side helping from Swift Ace and Pyrothrower hold on the bottom. Dash, Violet, Sabrina, and Parker were sat on the table.
"Are we there yet?" Dash asked.
"We get there when we get there!" Bob said as he was on the wheel.
"Use your patience, kid." Sabrina told him.
Bob opened the window as papers began to fly around out. "How are you doing, honey?!" He yelled.
"Do I have to answer?!" Helen yelled back at him as Parker opened the side window and sees the city that they approached ahead.
"Guys! We are approaching the city!" He yelled at Richard and David.
"That's exactly what we saw!" Richard yelled.
"Kids! Parker! Sabrina! Strap yourselves down as I told you!" Bob yelled as Parker, Sabrina, Violet, and Dash went to the control and put on their seat belts.
"We're ready!" Sabrina said.
"Here we go, honey!" Bob yelled out the window.
"Ready Violet?!" Bob called to the back as she held her hand over the red button.
"Ready? Now!" He yelled as Violet then slammed on the red button as the jet split in two as Helen grunted and stretched back and climbed into the window as she takes a seat beside with her husband.
"Let go!" David told Richard as they let go at the van's bottom and fly to followed it.
"This is going to be rough! Brace yourselves!" Parker yelled as Bob hitting on the speed limit's pedal as they began to land towards the road to drive to avoid the cars on the highway. Richard and David flew after the van.
"The robot in the Financial District. Which exit do I take?" Bob asked.
"Attraction Avenue!" Helen said.
"That will take me downtown. I take Seventh, don't I?" Bob asked.
"Don't take Seventh!" Helen yelled making Bob avoid the exit.
"Great! We missed it!" He said.
"You asked me how to get there and I told you! Exit at Traction!" Helen pointed at the sign.
"But that will take him downtown as well!" Parker yelled.
"He's coming up! Get in the right lane! Signal!" Helen yelled.
"Not Traction!" Bob yelled. "You're gonna miss it!" Helen yelled as Bob took the exit and went down to a road as he quickly avoids cars as he hit the brakes and they hit a parked car and flipped over.
"Ahhhh!" Violet screamed as they rolled a few times before landing perfectly between two cars with a parking meter on the sidewalk. Pyrothrower and Swift Ace land on the ground next to the van as they checked in to see heroes were okay.
"Is everybody okay back there?" Bob asked as he and Helen looked back at the four in the back.
"Ow!" Parker groaned in pain, lying on the ground and rubbed his head.
"Super-duper, Dad." Violet said. "Let's do that again." Dash laughed.
"Okay, next time. Tried on Seventh." David replied as Bob nodded to him.
They heard, felt booms, saw the robot outside the window, and heard the screams of the people.
"Wait here and stay hidden, I'm going in. Parker, come with me." Bob said as he and Parker left the van.
Helen stopped Bob with her arm stretched and Sabrina stops Parker.
"While what? I watch helplessly from the sidelines? I don't think so." Helen said.
"She's right. We can't let you do that, guys." Sabrina said.
"I'm asking you two to wait with the kids and the others." Bob told Helen and Sabrina.
"And I'm telling you not a chance, you're my husband. I'm with you, for better or worse." Helen said.
"Sorry, we had to do this alone." Parker said.
"What is this to you two? Playtime?" Sabrina asked.
"No." Parker said.
"So you two can be Mr. lncredible and Arachnid-Warrior again?" Helen asked.
"No!" Bob yelled.
"Then what? What is it?" Helen asked.
"We're not…" Bob said. "Not what?" Sabrina said. "We're not strong enough and full responsibility." Parker said. "Strong enough and responsibility. And this will make you two stronger?" Helen asked. "Yes." Bob said. "No!" Parker yelled. "That's what this is? Some sort of workout or something?" Sabrina asked. "I can't lose you again!" Bob yelled as he held his wife with his hands.
"I don't want you see to get hurt." Parker puts his arm around Sabrina in worried.
"I can't. Not again. I'm not... strong enough." Bob said.
"And I'm will not be…" Parker said to Sabrina.
David, Richard, Dash, and Violet looked at each other in the van and watched them. Helen kissed Bob as she hugs him. Sabrina hugged Parker and gave a perk on his cheek.
"If we work together, you won't have to be." Helen said.
"As long as we're in this together." Sabrina added.
"We don't know what'll happen." Bob worried.
"Hey. We're superheroes. What can happen?" Helen asked.
"Hey, guys! Makeup later!" Richard yelled at them as Violet screamed at the Omnidroid ver.10 as they are all out from a van when the robot crashed with its claw.
Richard and David flew away and went on Bob and Parker's side but the robot blocked Violet and Dash's way with its claw. Bob and five others saw them in horror
"Vi! Dash! No!" Helen yelled.
"Kids! Get out of there!" David yelled at them.
The Omnidroid attacks them but Violet blocked with a force field as it began beating on it then slammed its weight on it, smashing the force field as Violet fell over in the crater, they were in.
"Violet?" Dash asked as the robot dropped at them again as a booming sound was heard as he saw Bob and Parker holding up the machine and grunting.
"Dad! Uncle Parker!" He yelled.
"Go!" Bob grunted.
"Hurry!" Parker grunted as Helen stretched her arms to pick up Violet who regains her consciousness, carrying her away as the six heroes ran into an alley.
Bob and Parker then began to push up at the bottom of Omnidroid, but its two claws grabbed them and threw them into a building.
"They need our help!" Sabrina yelled as she and Richard were going to help Bob and Parker.
"I'm okay, mom. Really." Violet said as Helen puts her down on the ground, next to Dash.
"Stay here, okay?" Helen asked as she and Swift Ace joined the fight as Violet and Dash watched them.
The robot was looking into a building where it threw Bob and Parker in. It saw Bob and Parker come running at it then tackled it and made it crash into the street below as they landed away from it and Frozone skiing on the ice he created came in.
"Frozone! Yeah!" Bob yelled at his best friend. Lucius freezes at Omnidroid's joints.
"Bob!" Helen yelled.
"We're helping you, guys!" Sabrina said as he and three approached.
"Whoa!" Frozone exclaimed as they saw him hit the roof of a car and then the ground.
"Lucius!" Richard ran over to him.
"Hey!" Bob yelled at the robot as it smacked him and Parker into a building's wall and hitting themselves on the ground.
"Incoming!" Swift Ace yelled as it's claw came at him and Helen as she stretched out of the way to dodge its attack and Swift Ace flew around to avoid it as it stabbed its claw into a building as Frozone froze it there as it easily broke free.
Pyrothrower flew in the air, throwing fireballs at its eye as Helen down below dodged blasts from its laser gun. Sabrina fires beam of ionic energy at Omnidroid which it pushed back and fell on the ground.
"Ha! Nice job there, lady!" Richard said as the robot stands up and straight at them, still active.
"Oh. That's not good." He deadpanned as he and Sabrina avoid claw's attack.
Bob and Parker get up as they saw Syndrome's remote next to them. Bob picked it up as he and Parker remembered Syndrome controlled his robot with his remote before.
"Syndrome's remote!" Bob yelled as he held it up in the air.
"Uh… Bob?" Parker pointed at the Omnidroid as it gazed at them and saw a remote that Bob held it and his face fell. It smashed them and grabbed them as Bob pressing random buttons as its legs drop off the ground as well with two heroes.
Sabrina and Violet saw it too. "The remote controls the robot." Violet told Dash and Sabrina.
"Then we must use it to stop it…" Sabrina said.
Bob and Parker dodged from getting blasted by Omnidroid.
"Hey, dad! Throw it, throw it!" Dash yelled.
"Go long!" Bob yelled as he threw a remote across the city as Dash ran after it helps by Richard.
"We need to destroy that gun!" Parker yelled, seeing Dash running onto the water and caught the remote.
"Got it!" Dash yelled as a car blew up in front of him and as they tried to flee back, another did.
"We're blast blocked!" Richard yelled.
"Honey! Take out its gun!" Bob yelled at Helen.
Sabrina and Helen both lifted a heavy sewer manhole cover as Helen threw her arm around a light pole for a slingshot and shot the lid into its gun taking it out.
"Dash!" Frozone yelled, running on the ice as he caught Dash and held him on his back, the machine retracted into a ball and rolled after them as they took into the water freezing a path as the robot reformed and jumped to the water which caused sending a big wave above them.
Frozone then turned the wave into the snow as Dash and Richard hit the snow and slid across it. Syndrome remote was on the street as Bob going after it but its shot out a claw from its leg to caught Bob sending him flying away from the remote and crashing down the street. The robot then began to head toward the remote as Frozone from the road making snow for slipping on the frozen street as Helen stretched her body and Parker shot out a web string between the two poles in front of it, making it trip as it fell over a few feet from the remote. Omnidroid then lifted its head and reached for it as the remote floated off the ground and Violet dodged its claws and ran under the machine which caused to fell on the ground due lose its legs.
"Mom! I got it! I got the remote!" Violet said approaching the other supers as Richard flew in.
"A remote?" Frozone asked.
"A remote that controls what?" Richard asked as the robot began to head towards them and Violet began touching buttons and turned on its rocket making it fly in the air.
"The robot?" Richard and Lucius asked in unison as it flew above them and crash into a building.
Parker went to help Bob to free from Omnidroid's claw.
"I got ya!" He yelled. "It's coming back!" Dash yelled snatching the remote from Violet and hit a button that made the claw toss Bob and Parker into the air. "Ugh!" Parker grunted as Bob landed on him again.
"That wasn't right." Dash said. "Give me that!" Violet said taking it from Dash.
"Guys, our powers don't work against its resistance." Sabrina said.
"Then how do we beat that thing?" Swift Ace asked as Bob and Parker stands up and looked over at Omnidroid advancing to other heroes.
"We can't stop it, the only hard enough to penetrate it is...!" Bob said as he stopped and remember the previous Omnidroid when it hurt itself with a claw and looked to the claw next to them.
"Itself." He realized as Parker put his hand on his shoulder triumphantly.
"Are you ready to do this?" Parker asked.
"Like always do." Bob smiled as he and Parker lifted it up together.
"It's getting closer!" Dash yelled.
"It doesn't work!" Violet said.
"Kids!" Helen said as Violet pushed the first button to activate the rocket booster from its end that made Bob and Parker dragged away.
"It's not doing anything!" Lucius said.
"Lucius, try to buy us some time!" Helen yelled to Lucius.
"Try the one next to it!" Frozone said.
"I'm with you, Lucius!" Richard said as he helps him took off to the robot as Richard began launching fireballs at the robot as Frozone began making a wall of ice.
"Honey!" Bob yelled as Helen hit another button that shut off the claw's rocket.
"Wait a minute. Press that button again!" Bob yelled as Helen then hit another as the claw began to rotate fast like a drill.
"No, the other one! The first one!" Parker yelled at Helen.
"First button! Got it!" Helen yelled.
"It's getting closer!" Dash yelled.
"Look out!" Frozone yelled, struggling with robot break through the wall of ice.
"Get out of here, kids! Find a safe spot!" Helen yelled at Violet and Dash.
"We're not going anywhere!" Violet yelled.
"Press the button!" Parker yelled.
"Not yet!" Sabrina shouted.
"Helen!" Lucius cried.
"Hurry up!" Richard said. "What are you waiting for?!" Bob yelled.
"A closer target! You got one shot!" Helen yelled.
"Here it comes!" David yelled as the robot broke through the ice and Helen hit the rocket button.
"Everybody down!" Parker yelled as the other heroes turned back at them.
Bob and Parker let go of a claw and launched straight through Omnidroid's body as dropped on the ground with a power core. Bob and Parker ran up to the others as they saw a robot fell on the water and exploded.
"We did it!" Richard smiled.
"Hey, Zone." Bob greeted with Lucius who laughed.
"We saved the city!" Parker said as they heard clapping as they saw all the citizen coming from their hiding spots with clapping and cheering.
"Just like old times." Lucius said.
"Just like old times." Bob said as he gives Frozone a heavy pat on the back.
"Oh! Yeah. Hurt then too." Frozone said.
"So, if Swift Ace is alive? So, does that mean Parker has now lived with him again?" Violet asked.
"Yes, Violet." Helen said as Bob puts his hand on Parker's shoulder in honored.
"I'm really proud of you, Parker. For 15 years, I thought I had to work alone but until I was wrong…" He said as David came up to him.
"Bob. For right now, Parker will have done for taking care of your family." Swift Ace said.
"I will see you someday when there's trouble and give us a call…" Parker said.
"You did have great care for us as a family." Helen said as she, Bob and their two kids hug around him which made people clapping and cheering more. Then they pulled away from him.
"What about me? I don't have a family." Sabrina said as Richard walks to her.
"You can stay with me. Because I have a spare room for you." He persuaded.
"Are you sure she can be trusted?" Bob asked, not aware of her anymore.
"Well, she is. She needs a job to get a lot of money for my rent." Richard said.
"Hey, Spider-Boy." Sabrina said.
"Yes?" Parker asked.
"Call me if you want to…" Sabrina said as she gestured her hand to make a phone call.
Swift Ace chuckled. "So anyways. Parker and I have to go home."
"Then see you there, someday or two." Bob said, waving at them.
"Good-bye!" Dash yelled as Swift Ace flies in the air and Arachnid-Warrior follows him with swinging the webs.
Sabrina watched Parker swinging in the air with webs' slinging.
"Goodbye… Parker." She thought and smiled.
