Captain's log. Stardate 94201.4. We've been getting a lot of visitors lately. A race of telepathic beings who live in what they call psychospace, the realm of dreams. It's what allows them visit us in our minds. One in particular, seems to enjoy our company a little too much.

"She visited you?" Janeway asked. She, her SIC Chakotay, and Neelix were sharing a meal together in the mess hall.

"Oh, yes. She was telling me about a party she was planning for her father. Said she'd be delighted if I could attend." Neelix said proudly, "She said I made the best desserts she's ever tasted."

"A high compliment." Chakotay said. "It's interesting, when she's present in your dream everything feels real. Feel, smell, and even taste are all there. Almost enchanced."

Janeway hummed in agreement before asking the Talaxian, "Did you have any trouble waking up? Some of the crew have expressed difficulties waking when she visits."

"It's funny you should mention that. Before meeting her myself, I'd heard others complaining about being late for their shifts after a visit. So when she finally got around to me, Kes had already met her. She told me Kes had already spoken to her about that. She promises that from now on, she'll keep her visits closer to the surface."

Janeway nods in approval, "Well, I'll have to tell Kes thank you. Maybe things will start to go back to normal around here."

Chakotay hides a smile, "Normal for us, anyway."

Conceding the point, Janeway takes a sip of her coffee. She notices Neelix's suddenly thoughtful face and sets her cup down. "Is there something wrong, Neelix?"

"Uh, no. I just remembered something she said. Something about you... not being normal."

"Me?"

"Yes", he stares at the ceiling in thought, "I can't quite recall, but it was odd."

"What do you remember?"

"Well, Captain? Do you have a twin?"

"No, I don't. Why?"

"That's what's so odd, she said something about either you or your twin not being normal."

Blinking, Janeway leaned back in her seat, "My twin?"
