Loki ran into the Xiao Long house. "Jason!" She yelled.
Everyone looked at her. She saw Gale, and José of Team SAPH. Nora and Ren of Team JNPR. And Taiyang.
Taiyang nodded towards the back of the house.
"What happened?" She asked when they were at the back of the house.
"Jason, Team SAPH, Team JNPR and Qrow brought Ruby, Yang, and Jaune here. Then Jason passed out. He was hurt in a bad way, and don't even get me started on the mental scars. It's worse than when you guys first started spending the night here."
Loki remembered the first few nights they spent with Ruby and Yang. Jason had woken up terrified three times the first night there. "Where is he?"
"Scott and Jason leave for Beacon and don't come back until Jason passes out."
"I'm going to Beacon." Loki said stalking out of the house.
Taiyang walked to the three rooms That were occupied. In Ruby and Yang's room he saw Ruby still asleep, and Qrow was by her side. 'Please wake up soon.' He all but begged.
He walked over to the guest room where Yang had moved into. He opened the door to see Yang staring at the window. Her amputated arm at her side. "Hey." He called to her.
There was no response. He left her alone and went to his room where they had put Jaune.
When he looked inside, he saw Jaune tossing and turning. Two guesses what he was dreaming about.
"PYRRHA NO!" Jaune yelled jolting awake.
"Easy." Tai said rushing over to him.
Jaune got to his feet only to fall to his knees. "Why couldn't I save her?" He sobbed. "Why wasn't I strong enough?"
"Kid. You fell who knows how far. No amount of training could prepare you for that."
"Why did Jason have to fight Cinder the way he did?" Jaune asked.
Taiyang tensed. What did he do? On the one hand he could let Jaune blame Jason for what happened, but he knew that Jason was blaming himself enough that he didn't need them blaming him for more. He could snap at Jaune, but he couldn't do that. The kid just lost his fiancée.
"Jason lost his entire Team." Gale said from the doorway. "We lost Geoff. I'm not trying to say that your pain is less than ours or vice versa, but we are all struggling. Jason has to come to terms with what he did, but..."
"Geoff is still alive." José said. "I know it. Geoff is alive. He… he has to be."
The group sat looking At each other.
"I know that Pyrrha is alive." Nora said with a sob. "I refuse to believe that she's dead."
Ren patted Nora's shoulder in silent support.
The distraught teens looked At each other. What did they do? They wanted comfort but didn't know what to do.
Vale
Loki walked through Vale trying to find Jason. "Jason?" She whispered. "Jason, where are you?"
An Ursa jumped out at her clawing at her face.
Loki dodged to the side and decapitated the Ursa with a swing of the 'Multi blades' Sword mode. She changed it to the shield mode and walked through the smoke carefully.
"Get back here!" A loud angry voice yelled.
Loki ran around the corner to see a White Fang member grab a girl, no older than 12 years old, by the hair. He pulled so hard that he tore out tufts of her brown hair.
The girl put her hand to her head but didn't make a sound.
Loki noticed that the girl was crying but not making a sound. Silent crying isn't a good sign. Loki ran at the guy and shield bashed him. "Stay away from her!" She snarled.
The White Fang member extended talons from his fingertips and slashed at Loki.
Loki held her shield in front of her, pushed the White Fang member up, threw him behind her, backflipped and brought her shield down on him before putting her full weight on him knocking him out.
Someone put a blade to Loki's neck. "Who are you?" The girl asked.
"My name is Loki Saki. I'm a..."
"Big sister Loki?" The girl asked.
Loki looked over her shoulder and took a good look at the girls blood-soaked face. "Violet?" She asked.
Violet dropped the battle axe she was holding and hugged Loki. "I'm so glad to see you."
Loki returned the hug. "Oh my gosh!" Loki said in shock. "How were you able to survive the Fall. Not to mention all this time?"
Violet wiped blood out of her eyes. "I'm a street kid." She smiled.
Loki felt something like fire in her stomach. Violet had, had a family who should have loved her. Instead, she had a bastard of a father, and spent more nights on the streets because it was safer for her than staying at home. "Have you seen Jason?"
"Big brother Jason is here?" She asked picking up her battle axe and changing it to a guitar before sliding it over her head and shoulder.
"Yeah, but I'm not sure where he is."
"Let's go look for him." Violet said taking Loki's hand.
"Do you want to activate your Aura?" Loki asked nodding to Violet's head.
"Hm?" Violet asked touching her head. She hissed in pain as the oils, soot, and dirt mixed with the blood. "Oh. Yeah."
Violet glowed scarlet red and her skin healed over her head leaving an odd bald patch. "Let's go find Jason." Violet said.
The two girls walked through Vale looking for Jason.
After a bit of walking, they came face to face with a King Taijitu.
Violet looked up at it and smiled. She began playing a song on her guitar. "Can you keep it distracted while I power up the 'Noisemaker'?"
"Yeah, but you will only get one shot before it goes after you."
"Don't worry. I plan on playing loud enough for Jason to hear." Violet said before she began singing.
Where have all the good men gone

The King Taijitu Struck fast but was blocked by Loki thrusting at its eye.
Where's the streetwise Hercules
To fight the rising odds?
Loki spun around spinning the 'Multi Blade' like a human blender.
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Jason and Scott had just killed a group of Grimm when they heard the music. "Think we should go check that out?" Scott asked.
Jason tilted his head and listened to the voice before running towards it.
"I guess so." Scott said before taking off after Jason
Late at night I toss, and I turn

Loki changed the 'Multi Blade' to the gun mode and shot at the King Taijitu's eye's

Jason jumped in the air and kicked off the ground cracking it before landing on the building.
Scott shook his head. "No, no. Don't mind me. I'll just take the long, more dangerous way."
He's gotta be strong
Jason punched his way through a Beowulf.

Jason used his boosters to clear an alleyway.
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
Jason kicked an Ursa in the head killing it instantly.

Scott tore around a corner and saw a Death Stalker. "Oh, come on!" He shouted.
He's gotta be sure
Scott activated his Semblance altering his perception of time so he could determine a Weakness. The eyes were the weakest point. So, he fused his 'Fangs' into the 'Bunker Buster' and shot it right in the face. He broke the 'Bunker Buster' apart and kept running after Jason.
And it's gotta be soon
Jason jumped from one rooftop to another rolling into a standing position and kept running.
And he's gotta be larger than life
Scott ran into some White Fang members. "Oh. Lovely."
"Stop right there." The one in front said.
"I uh, I got lost?" Scott tried.
"It's another filthy human." The second one said.
"I take offense to that. I bathe every day."
"Oh. A smart ass." The third one said.
"While I do claim to be smart, I must say that my... You know what. Gale can take these one liners and shove 'em." Scott said punching the first two and kicking the third one. That's more like it."
Somewhere after midnight
In my wildest fantasy
Jason jumped off a roof and onto a Nevermores back. "Down boy." He said before punching it on the top of the head.
The Nevermore was stunned and fell for a few moments, but just enough to drop Jason off.
Somewhere just beyond my reach
There's someone reaching back for me
Jason hit the ground running, leaving an indent with each foot fall.
Racing on the thunder
And rising with the heat
Scott ran around a corner and saw the indents. "Thanks for leaving me a trail of breadcrumbs."
It's gonna take a Superman
To sweep me off my feet
Loki spun around and cut the King Taijitu's mouth.
The King Taijitu hissed before striking again.
Loki changed the 'Multi Blade' to a Spear and stabbed it into the soft pallet before putting the other end on the base of the mouth.
Loki took out two claws and put them on before coating them with ice Dust. "Chew on this." She said before slicing the inside of the King Taijitu, freezing its insides.

Jason jumped over a fence and into a horde of Beowulf.
Jason spun, kicking the Alpha into a wall.
The other Beowulf's looked at Jason and started growling.
Scott came running in and punched the Beowulf out of the way. "Can we stay together now? It's kind of dangerous."
Jason nodded, and the two took off running in the direction of the singing.
He's gotta be strong
A King Taijitu blocked their path, and the two increased their speed.
Scott punched the King Taijitu in the underside, and Jason kicked it in the face.
And he's gotta be fast
The attack sent the King Taijitu to the floor in a heap and a crash that made the ground shake.
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
Scott tossed Jason a bottle of water, and a protein bar. "For when you take off the helmet.
Jason put the protein bar in his pocket with the others that Scott had given him. It wasn't that he wasn't hungry, but that he couldn't even look at food without getting sick to his stomach. It made him think about all of the meals that his Team wouldn't get to eat because of his failures.

The two ran around Vale killing Grimm as fast as they could and kept on running.
He's gotta be sure

Jason ran through the hole after Scott.
And he's gotta be larger than life
The two ran towards a group of Beowulf's, and Jason took out eight throwing knives before throwing them at the Beowulf's, embedding them in their bodies and killing many of them.

The ones that weren't killed by throwing knives were killed by Jason and Scott as they ran by.
Up where the mountains meet the heavens above
Jason jumped over a wall and kicked an Ursa into a clothing store. Good thing Coco wasn't there, otherwise she would kill him. Probably not even for the clothing store, but for Auburn. Why did it have to be Auburn?
Out where the lightning splits the sea
There was a laugh and Jason turned around. The Ursa had come out of the store with a hat on its head, and Scott had laughed before punching it again, hopefully killing it.
I could swear that there's someone somewhere watching me
Jason activated his Semblance and Shira and Amber jumped from his shadow and ran beside him.
Through the wind and the chill and the rain
Scott ran after Jason. 'We need to stay together. It's dangerous out here. Not to mention that you haven't been the same since that night.'
And the storm and the flood
Jason boosted himself onto a roof and started running across the roof.
I can feel his approach like a fire in my blood
"Oh, come on!" Scott yelled. "We are supposed to stay together!" He fused his 'Fangs' together, put the barrel down, pulled the trigger, and shot into the air.

Jason saw a King Taijitu and heard music getting louder up ahead. He ran towards it.
He's gotta be strong
He jumped from rooftop to rooftop until he was one more jump away.
And he's gotta be fast
Scott came falling out of the sky and cut the King Taijitu in half.
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
The first half fell over, and Loki walked out of its mouth .

Jason jumped off the roof and punched the King Taijitu's other half in the head.
He's gotta be sure
There was a hiss, and then the King Taijitu stopped moving all together.
And it's gotta be soon
In the smoke there was a glowing Red bat signal that seemed to be getting Closer.
And he's gotta be larger than life
Jason walked out of the smoke and saw Loki and Violet.
Violet put the 'Noisemaker' on her back and ran to Jason, hugging him. "I knew you would come." She said smiling up at him.
"Anything for you." Jason said rubbing her back. "What happened?"
"What do you mean?"
"He's asking you why you are bald in the front." Loki said rather bluntly.
"Oh. A White Fang member pulled some of my hair out. Stupid Faunus trash."
"HEY!" Loki, Jason, and Scott scolded.
"What?" Violet asked.
"We do not call the Faunus trash." Jason said in a stern voice.
"But they are!" Violet said.
"No." Jason said dropping to one knee so he could look her in the face. He took his Hood and Helmet off. "No. There are some bad Faunus, just like there are bad humans, but we do not call them trash. Did you know I have some very good friends who are Faunus?"
"No."
"Well, I do. They aren't trash, and the last guy who said that they were trash ended up in the hospital."
Violet backed away from Jason.
"No. No, no, no, no." Jason said putting his hands up in a non-threatening gesture. "I didn't do it, and I won't hurt you. I'm just saying that you shouldn't hate the Faunus because of a few bad ones. There are more bad humans than there are bad Faunus."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Did you know that Jason is a Faunus?" Loki asked.
"What!" Violet yelled looking at Jason with wide eyes.
"Yeah." Loki said. "Look at his eyes."
Violet looked at Jason's eyes and saw that they were yellow and cat like. "I'm sorry." She said hugging him. "I didn't mean to call you trash."
"It's fine. I don't take offense, but just be careful what you say around people."
"I will." Violet said. She looked at Jason quizzically. "When was the last time you had anything to eat or drink?"
"I keep giving him protein bars and water." Scott said.
Loki walked over time Jason and frisked him pulling out a dozen protein bars.
"Dude!" Scott yelled. "That is at least three days' worth of food. If not four."
"Jason!" Loki growled. "What is the meaning of this?"
"I haven't been hungry?" Jason lied.
His stomach confirmed the truth by growling.
"Jason." Loki said very calmly. "Could you explain to me why in the hell you aren't eating?"
"I told you. I'm just not hungry."
"Bullshit!" Loki yelled. "Now tell me!"
"I'm not..."
Loki grabbed Jason and flipped him over her shoulder before straddling him and opening one of the Protein bars. "Now. You're going to eat this, or I'll shove it down your throat."
"Get off me!" Jason yelled trying to move her.
Loki could feel just how weak Jason was. "Are you trying to kill yourself! You're so weak that you can't even move me. Me!"
"I can't even look at food!" Jason yelled at her.
"What?" She asked looking horrified. She got off him. "What do you mean?"
"I can't even look at food." Jason cried. "Every time I look at food, I get physically sick."
"Why?"
"I remember that Auburn, Damian, and Ember will never eat another meal because I was to slow to get to them, and I can't bring myself to eat anything."
"How long have you gone without food?"
"Since the Fall."
Loki grabbed Jason by his suit. "What the hell is wrong with you!"
Scott grabbed Loki and pulled her off Jason. "Loki please. Stop. That's not the way to handle this situation."
"What is then?" Loki asked.
"Jason. You have to eat something. Otherwise, you will get sick. If you already aren't."
"My Alpha traits keep me alive."
"How have you been able to do all those crazy things?"
"I put my weakness behind a mental wall and pushed forward. I'll eat once Vale and Beacon are safe."
Scott grabbed Jason's shoulder and pinched the bundle of nerves. "I'm sorry Jason, but you need sustenance."
Jason fell to his knees and passed out.
When Jason woke up, he felt sick, and not like food poisoning sick, but like his body wanted him to pay for denying it its basic needs. 'What happened?' He asked.
'Well. After you passed out, your body went into shock, and Scott had to carry you back to the Rose/Xiao long household. You've been asleep for a week.'
'A week! I have to get back to Vale.' Jason said trying to get out of the bed.
"No way." Coral said pushing Jason back down. "Where the hell do you think you're going?"
"I have to get back to Beacon and Vale. I need to help clear out the Grimm."
"Not on my watch. You are going to stay here and recover. So, you better get comfortable. You destroyed your stomach so you can't eat solid foods for a while. So, here's some broth."
Jason smelled the broth. It smelled so good, but he couldn't eat. "I don't want any."
"Your mouth is watering. You want some. Why are you refusing to eat?"
"Because. I failed my Team. I don't deserve to..."
Coral put a spoonful of broth in his mouth, closed it, and plugged his nose. "I'm doing this for your own good Jason." Coral said.
Jason tried to keep the savory broth from going down his throat, but it made its way down.
Once Coral was satisfied that Jason had downed the broth, she let his mouth and nose go. "Now. Would you like some more?"
"No." Jason said even as his stomach rumbled.
Coral held up the spoon. "Do I have to play airship with you?"
"What?" Jason asked in confusion and horror.
"Airship. You know. Here comes the airship." Coral said moving the spoon closer to Jason's mouth.
"I don't know what you're doing, but..." Jason couldn't finish because Coral put more broth in his mouth.
Jason wanted to spit it out with every fiber of his being, but he was suddenly too weak to do anything but lay down.
"There you go." Coral said spooning another spoonful of broth into his mouth. "You have a fever, and your body is finally registering it."
"I feel like shit."
"Well yeah. That's what happens when you starve yourself." Coral said feeding him more broth. "So far I'm the only one who can be in here with you."
"Why?" Jason asked weakly.
"Loki can't decide if she wants to take care of you or beat you for pulling a stupid stunt. Scott is out hunting Grimm at Beacon and Vale. Ruby is too weak to move. Nora, Ren, Gale, and Jose are busy keeping Jaune occupied because he has it in his mind that you killed Pyrrha. Qrow is watching Ruby, and Tai is taking care of everyone, and was glad when Cliff, Viridian, and I came by to help. Turns out that Cliff and Viridian each have a house in Patch."
"Jaune has every right to hate me. Everyone should."
Coral fed Jason another spoonful of Broth before hitting him on the head with the spoon. "Don't be like that. Why do you think everyone should hate you?"
After Jason left the Arena. He ran through Amity Colosseum to see if he could help anyone.
He had been moving at a fast pace and had just helped a family onto an airship when he heard Auburn weakly call for help.
He ran to her and saw her sticking on the barb of a Death Stalker. A piece of him shattered at the sight of Auburn hanging in the air like that.
He went inside his mindscape and found Red.
"Red. Please. I need your help."
Red flipped him the bird and Jason left.
He killed the Death Stalker and took Auburn to the Fountain in the courtyard.
He was mourning her when Coco came up.
Coco was just as distraught, if not more so because her and Auburn had a connection that Jason didn't. He wanted Coco to get angry at him. To yell or hit him. To let him feel something other than the soul crushing loss he felt now.
Instead, Velvet directed his anger to the Grimm and White Fang members attacking innocents just like Auburn.
Jason ran around killing Grimm and White Fang members until he heard Damian call for help. He ran to Damian and helped him fight the Atlas Guards and get the kids he was escorting to safety.
Jason told Damian about Auburn and they separated after telling each other to be careful.
He found a White Fang member with a chainsaw and killed him with extreme prejudice. If they wanted to piss him off, then they could have the monster that he kept locked inside. The monster that he kept locked down deep inside the recesses of his mind.
He killed as many White Fang members and Grimm as possible with the chainsaw, until he saw a White Fang member try and kill Ember.
He intercepted the giant chainsaw the White Fang member was using, and quickly killed him.
He told Ember about Auburn's death and they went their separate ways after telling each other to be careful.
He was still angry with what happened that he went on auto pilot and was able to wield the 'Bunker Buster'.
After he killed three Death Stalkers and fired the massive gun, he saw a blast of light and ran towards it.
It was Damian. He had failed another Teammate.
He went back to his Mindscape.
"Red! I need your help. You are the one who lusts for battle. Please. I'm begging you. Please help me."
"Why should I?" Red asked.
"Because. My friends are dying!"
"They aren't my friends."
"Screw you!" Jason yelled leaving.
"No thanks." Red said. "You're not my type."
Jason left his mindscape and slaughtered the Atlas guards before heading away into the night.
He looked into the Sky and saw lights coming from the clock tower and ran over to Team SAPH.
"I need help." He spoke.
"What do Ye need?" Geoff asked.
"I need to get to the Clock tower."
"Then I'll help. Not sure what I can do, but I'll help ye where I can."
The two ran to the Clock tower.
"Can Ye boost us up there?"
"Not without help."
"Weiss!" Geoff called. "Can Ye help us get up there?"
In response Weiss created a black glyph and pulled back.
Jason and Geoff ran to the Glyph and jumped on.
Weiss let go and launched them into the air.
Jason grabbed Geoff and boosted them the rest of the way up before landing on the edge of the clock tower.
There was a crash as Jason and Geoff landed on the floor.
Jason looked around and saw the 'Cold Flame', but no Ember. "Ember!" He called out. "Ember where are you?"
"I'm afraid that she's dead." Cinder said without a care for what she had done.
"Jason." Pyrrha said. "She turned to ash."
Jason glared at Cinder. "Did you Kill Ember?"
"Yes. I killed her."
"Why!"
"She was in my way."
"You're a monster!" Pyrrha shouted.
"No." Cinder sighed. "I'm a Maiden."
"No, you're not!" Jaune yelled. "You're half a Maiden."
"That's right. I guess I'll have to kill your girlfriend for her half of the Maiden powers." Cinder said running at Pyrrha.
Jaune pushed Pyrrha behind him and held his shield up to protect her, but there was no impact.
Jason ran at Cinder and kicked her into the wall.
Jason picked Cinder up and threw her across the room. "Do you really only see people's lives as means to an end!?"
"What did people ever do for me?" Cinder spat. "Why should I care for another living person who is weaker than me!"
"Ember..." Jason curb stomped Cinder.
"Wasn't..." He kicked her against a pillar.
"Weaker..." He grabbed her throat and crushed her windpipe in his hand.
"Than..." He slammed her into the ground.
"You..." He threw her across the room.
Pyrrha walked up to Jason and put her hand on his arm. "I'm sorry Jason. We got here too late. It's our fault Ember..."
"NO!" Jason said. "It's not your fault. It's hers." He said pointing at Cinder.
Cinder got up and brushed herself off.
"Um... guys." Geoff said. "She's getting up.
"How could she get up after that?" Jaune asked. "Jason is the strongest person at beacon. He kicked the crap out of Scott in a full-on rage. Scott! How could she just get up after that?"
"You foolish boy." Cinder smirked. "I am stronger than any of you now. I could take all four of you and still come out on top."
"Prove it!" Jason yelled jumping to kick her.
Cinder dodged out of the way and threw fire at Jason.
"JASON!" The others shouted.
Jason let the fire burn. This was his punishment for letting his Team die. He let the pain consume him and drive him. He grabbed Cinder by the throat and threw her towards Pyrrha.
Pyrrha punched Cinder back towards Jason and used her Semblance to pull the gears of the massive Clock tower around Cinder hoping to crush her.
Cinder blew the gear cage apart and threw the gears in every direction.
Geoff tried to dodge out of the way but was hit in the chest with one of the giant gears and fell unconscious.
Pyrrha pushed Jaune out of the way of one of the gears and used her semblance to throw the other one away from herself.
Jason punched the gear away from himself and felt the bones in his arm break. His arm fell limp by his side, but he kept walking towards Cinder.
"WHY WON'T YOU JUST DIE!" Cinder yelled at Jason.
"Because I refuse to die while there are people like you around to screw it over."
"DIE!" Cinder yelled lighting Jason on fire.
Jason walked through the flames and grabbed Cinder by the throat.
"This is for Ember!" He Slammed her into the ground hard enough to crack the floor.
"JASON!" Pyrrha yelled. "You're going to destroy the clock tower!"
Jason was in too much pain and rage that he didn't hear Pyrrha. "This is for Damian!" He threw her into the air and grabbed her leg before slamming her into the ground again.
The floor began to branch out in a spider web crack.
"JASON!" Pyrrha and Jaune yelled.
"And THIS IS FOR AUBURN!" Jason yelled swinging Cinder's body out of the Clocktower towards a giant dragon Grimm.
The top floor of the Clocktower cracked and the four Hunter fell through the floor.
The last thing Jason heard, and saw was a blinding flash of light and Ruby yell. "NNOOO!"
When Jason woke up, he was dizzy. He looked around and saw carnage and destruction. He staggered to his feet and looked around.
"Hello." He spoke.
There was no response.
"Hello!" He yelled louder.
Still no response.
He walked around looking for anyone. He saw a man covered in what could only be digestive juices and a girl with a really weird dye Job.
"Hello." He said to them.
They looked at him, and a furnace raged in his stomach, and he ran at them.
The girl stepped in front of him and started signing.
He only understood a few words.
"We... Cinder... never... work... her."
"What?" He asked.
"She's saying that the only reason we did what we did was because Cinder forced us to. We don't work for her." Roman said.
"Why should I believe you?"
"Would it really surprise you if Cinder threatened Neo if I didn't do what she said?"
Neo signed something.
"She said that Cinder threatened me if she didn't do what she said and stepped out of line."
Jason looked at them. "Go. If you hurt any innocents, then I will hunt you down and kill you."
Neo signed something at Roman
"I don't think that he would."
"What did she ask?"
"She wanted to know if you could help take over a crime family for us to be the heads of."
Jason thought about it. "On three conditions."
"What are they?"
Jason held up Three fingers on a bloodied and bruised hand. "You protect the innocent." He put one down.
"We can do that."
"You help the people on the street get good jobs and families, non-crime related." He put a second one down.
"Okay."
"What's the third one?"
"If you get any information on Cinder. I don't care what it is, you let me know." He put down the third finger.
"That we can do."
Jason created a Shadow Clone. "Use this to communicate with me."
The Shadow Clone went to Roman and Neo.
"Okay." Roman said limping away.
Neo waved at Jason and followed Roman.
Jason walked around until he found Nora and Ren.
"Jason!" Nora shouted running to him, and grabbed his arm supporting his weight.
"What happened?" Ren asked.
"Pyrrha, Geoff, Jaune, and I fought Cinder. Ember tried to fight her alone..."
"Jason..." Nora gulped. "...what happened to Ember?"
"Cinder killed her."
Nora started crying, and Ren hid his face.
"What happened to Pyrrha and Geoff?" Nora asked.
"I'm not sure. What about Jaune?"
"We found Jaune. It looks like Pyrrha and Geoff were taken."
"We have to find them." Jason said.
"No way kid." Qrow said. "We have to get Jaune, Yang, and Ruby back to Patch."
Something tickled the back of Jason's memories. "Something happened to Yang."
"Yeah. She lost her arm."
Jason remembered what he had done. "I'm sorry Qrow."
"Kid. You couldn't have done anything to stop it unless you could have?"
"No. I let the guy who did it go."
"WHAT!" The group said.
"I told him that I would hunt him down later and kill him slowly."
"You made a mistake. Now we really need to go."
Qrow went with them to pick up Jaune, and led them back to where Yang was, and they picked her up before finding an airship and flying off to Patch.
Jason looked at Coral with a lump in his throat, and puffy red eyes. "I let my entire Team die. I let Roman and Neo go. I brought the Clock Tower down on Geoff, Jaune, and Pyrrha. And I let the guy who maimed Yang go just so I could get off on torturing him! Why shouldn't everyone hate me?"
Coral sat on the edge of the bed and hugged Jason tightly.
Jason grabbed onto her and sobbed. He cried until he fell asleep.
Once Jason was asleep, Coral left the room.
Taiyang and Loki were pacing outside the room when she got out.
"Well?" Loki asked.
"He's been through hell. Literal hell. He lost his entire Team in an hour. He also feels responsible for what happened to Yang."
"Of course, he does." Tai said.
"He let the guy go."
"WHAT!" The two said in unison.
"He told the guy that the hunt is no fun if the prey dies early on."
"Whoa." Loki said. "Jason must have snapped."
"Yeah." Was all Coral could say to that.
Violet came up to them. "Is Jason all right?"
"Jason had a very stressful week." Coral said putting her hand on Violet's shoulder.
"Do you think a song could help him?" She asked holding up the 'Noisemaker'.
"Not right now. I think that he needs to sleep for a while."
"Okay." Violet said sadly.
"Hey." Coral said lifting Violet's head to look into her face. "Are you hungry?"
"No." Violet said before her stomach grumbled.
"Here. Let's get you something to eat." Coral said leading her to the kitchen.
When they were gone Tai spoke up. "What are we going to do?"
"I'll be back." Loki said stalking out of the house.
Tai just stared at the door before walking to the kitchen.
Loki ran until she couldn't run anymore.
Once she stopped, she fell to her knees and started crying.
"WHY!" She yelled. "Why do you keep doing this to Jason! He hasn't done anything to deserve this!"
"Sometimes the person in question isn't being punished, but they are being tested." A voice said from behind Loki.
"Why? It's not fair. Jason has put up with enough. He deserves a break."
The owner of the voice put a hand on Loki's shoulder.
Loki looked behind her and saw Ren.
"I don't have the answers, but I know that Jason isn't being punished. I just hope that the test's stop and he can finally have peace."
Loki sat down. "When did you become so smart?"
"I grew up with Nora."
Loki started crying. "Do you think that Jason will be okay?"
"If I know Jason... I'd say that whoever hurt Yang had better start running."
Adam Taurus was running. He had never felt that kind of fear before. What was Jason Todd?
Atlas
James Ironwood walked into the infirmary at Atlas Academy. "How is he?"
"His ribcage was Shattered, and his Spine was crushed. I'm amazed he is still alive." The doctor said.
"Is there anything we can do for him?"
"He will need multiple surgeries as well as cybertronics. He will live, but... I'm not sure he will want to."
"He is one of the smartest minds I have ever seen. He will learn to cope."
"Whatever you say General."
Ironwood walked to the window and saw Geoffrey Patrick laying on the hospital bed, having machines breathe for him. "You're strong. I know you will make it."
Ironwood turned to the Doctor. "What about her?"
"She has suffered head trauma, but she is responsive."
"Can I speak with her?"
"Yes, but you may not like what you see."
Ironwood walked into the room to see a red-haired girl looking out the window. "How are you doing miss Nikos?"
The red head turned to look at him. "What did you call me?"
AN: And that is the end of Volume 3. Surprise. Pyrrha is alive. I told you last week that I would explain my reasoning for killing off three fourths of Team JADE. I killed them off because this was the moment that Jason would go from being Jason Todd to Red Hood. This was the point where he would die and come back as Red Hood. Now all that's left is a dip in the Lazarus pit… oops.
Violet is an OC based off of Scarlet(A.K.A. Sasha) from the Red Hood comics. However, she is younger.
Ironwood has Geoff and Pyrrha. Based on the most recent Volume I'm not sur if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
Jaune does blame Jason for Pyrrha's disappearance, but that will be solved soon enough. I hope you enjoyed JADE Volume three and hope to see you back in Volume four.
