ICE CAP ZONE
As the heroes and villains stood their ground on both sides of the battleground. All was silent, until Iron Man spoke up to the horde of villains.
IRON MAN: Do any of you have any idea what you're getting yourselves into? You're blindly following this guy not knowing what will happen if he unlocks that Motherbox. I personally have no clue what will happen, but if Batman of all people is nervous of what will happen, then it has to be serious.
Doom then stepped forward and spoke.
DOOM: Is this your plan Stark? Is this your team?
BATMAN: We are prepared.
Superman then flew to the front of the group.
SUPERMAN: Luthor! Stop this madness!
LUTHOR: You know the answer to that Superman, we have known each other for a long time.
SUPERMAN: We have. But you and I both know what will happen if you unlock that Motherbox.
Luthor just stared at him, not giving him a response. Eggman then spoke.
EGGMAN: It doesn't matter what will happen! Once it is unlocked the world will change!
GREEN LANTERN: But If you unlock that Motherbox, you will do irreparable damage to the world.
EGGMAN: The world? I'M GOING TO OWN THE WORLD ONCE I'M FINISHED WITH SONIC! HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO *cough* *cough* *cough* *cough* HO HO HO HO HO HO!
DOOM: Wow, you really are crazy.
EGGMAN: HE HE! We'll see who's crazy, when I destroy Sonic and his friends…. FOREVER!
LUTHOR: You mean after we destroy them.
EGGMAN: Less arguing, more destroying.
SUPER SONIC: Destroy me? You and what moustache? I have no problem beating you by myself, and now I have a super team.
EGGMAN: Then I'll have much more fun defeating you!
CAP: DON'T LET THEM UNLOCK THAT MOTHERBOX!
DOOM: LUTHOR, GO! WE'LL HOLD THEM OFF!
And with that, the two opposing teams charged forward at each other, commencing the battle. Doom and Iron Man began to fight each other while Super Sonic and Super Shadow fought against Eggman in his Big Arms robot. Lex flew away to unlock the Motherbox, but Superman intercepted him.
SUPERMAN: You're not getting past me.
LUTHOR: How will you stop me? When your Doomsday is here?
Suddenly Doomsday knocked Superman out of the sky and he hit the ground causing a crater to form.
SUPERMAN: Doomsday.
Doomsday roared and charged at Superman, Superman did the same. The two forces collided causing a shock wave that shook the area. Superman was knocked down and Doomsday stood above him. He was about to deliver the finishing blow but Doomsday was knocked down by The Hulk. Hulk roared and Doomsday replied with a roar as well. Superman got up and stood next to Hulk and then they charged at each other for a big battle. Hulk shoulder charged Doomsday, knocking him back, Superman was going to attack from behind but Doomsday grabbed him by the face and pummeled him to the ground. Hulk punched Doomsday but it did no damage, he was about to punch again but Doomsday caught his punch and threw him into the air and grabbed him mid-air and tossed him to the ground.
Super Sonic and Super Shadow made quick work of Eggman as his Big Arms robot was in pieces and he was face first in the ground.
SUPER SONIC: You're done Egghead, it's over!
Just then Super Sonic was pummeled into the ground and Super Shadow was punched away. Super Sonic looked up and saw his attacker was none other than Metal Sonic, he was in his regular state and since he is no longer in his Neo form, he cannot speak.
SUPER SONIC: Oh hey Metal. I see your trip here depowered you.
Metals eyes shined a menacing red as he launched himself at Super Sonic. The two fought viciously but Metal had the upper hand as he threw Super Sonic into the ground. Super Shadow decided to intervene but Metal saw this coming and kicked him in the head knocking him down. As Metal was about to finish him off, Super Sonic used his light speed attack and spin dashed into Metal multiple times which resulted in knocking him down. Super Shadow used this opportunity to finish him off with a chaos spear. With the robot destroyed the battle resumes.
As Iron Man fought Doom he saw Luthor flying towards a broken tower to unlock the Motherbox. Iron Man blasts Doom away and flies toward him, Superman and Hulk finish Doomsday by hitting him with full force, knocking him down. Luthor sees this and then begins to feel a wave of pain in his head, he looks around again to see Darkseid standing in front of him.
DARKSEID: SO! MY DOOMSDAY WEAPON FAILED, AND THE KRYPTONIAN STILL LIVES! I SHALL ENJOY TEARING HIM LIMB FROM LIMB, SLOWLY AND PAINFULLY, WITH MY BEAR HANDS!
LUTHOR: NO! SUPERMAN IS MINE TO DESTROY!
DARKSEID: We disagree! OPEN THE GATE! PREPARE FOR MY ARRIVAL!
The vision ends and Luthor continues to fly toward the tower.
Superman sees him flying with Iron Man trailing behind him, he decides to follow as well. Super Sonic sees them and decides to join them. They reach the tower and stand in front of Luthor. Doom and Eggman join him in the tower, Iron Man blasts Doom and Eggman uses his gun torrents on his Eggmobile to attack Super Sonic. As they fight Superman and Lex blast each other with heat vision and a kryptonite laser. The struggle ends with Lex beating Superman and proceeds to add the final piece of code to unlock the Motherbox. The code has completed its task, all Lex needs to do is to open the Motherbox.
SUPERMAN: LUTHOR DON'T!
But it is too late, Lex opens the box and in an instant a boom tube opens above The Ice Cap Zone. The heroes look up and see the boom tube, only to be greeted with a horde of Parademons coming their way. The heroes failed.
