Chapter Fourteen – Skills and Chills

RAW, Madison Square Garden, 8pm EST

Seth held his head walking back through gorilla and finding a road case to rest on. Ricochet kicked him pretty hard but the match was awesome. The fans were really into the storyline and it was worth the bruises now appearing all over Seth's body. It wasn't long before Bianca Belair found him and kissed him on the head, making his head bruise disappear with her healing lips. Seth felt like a million bucks now and he gav grateful hug. Her match was next and she was in the main event with Charlotte Flair and the Street Profits.

"Okay now its your turn to tear the house down, just try not to tear the hair out of Charlotte's head out there," Seth told her and Bianca handed him a clean towel.

"Go shower God boy I got this," Bianca said confidently and she twirled her braid and gave Seth a confident smile before heading to the ring.

"At a girl," Seth said proudly as Bianca strutted to the sound of her entrance music looking better than he'd seen her in a long time. "Make up sex, is there anything better?" he said knowing that Bianca and Montez had spent the afternoon together on Shawn and Amy's recommendation.
The results of being back together after spending the weekend apart was obvious and DX couldn't be happier with the results. At least Seth hoped they were, he hadn't seen DX since he gave them Steph and Jeff Hardy's peace treaty.

As Seth headed to the shower wondering where DX was, he saw Alexa Bliss staring at her engagement ring like she had the moon on her finger. He needed to talk to her as soon as he was done but judging by the way she was looking at her engagement ring, he might have a hard time getting her to pay attention to him.

When he was showered he saw Alexa still admiring her engagement ring and they walked back to gorilla together.

"So Roman is co-hosting the Christmas party with me, I guess now that things are all good between Steph, Jeff and the DX family, we can invite them to the party too right?" Alexa said to Seth sounding like she was floating in the air.

"Alexa you really should have told me before you decided to throw this Christmas party. Roman has never co-hosted anything and he wanted to have the party in LA," Seth said.

"Well I guess I'll have to convince him that he'll be an amazing co-host, plus the party is going to be in Colorado," Alexa said and Seth furrowed his brow.

"Colorado, why Colorado?" Seth asked her and Alexa smiled.

"AJ and I were flying over Colorado on the way back from LA and we thought it would be the perfect place to have the party. There's snow, plus its almost half way between LA an New York, so people won't have to travel all the way to either coast. Not everybody can get to LA Seth," Alexa said.

"Everyone can get to LA Alexa but I won't argue with you, all this time you've been spending with AJ has clearing caused you to lose focus of what's really important," Seth said and now it was time for Alexa to furrow her brow.

"What's more important than marrying a man that loves you?" Alexa asked him as they headed back to gorilla to watch the main event.

"How about trying out the other guys on the list of eligibles to see who fits the best? Hunter and I spend ages on that list, it was designed to give you options, not for you to marry the first name on the list," Seth explained. "There are still a lot of guys for you to choose from, you and AJ have only been dating for a little over a month. Don't let him shoehorn you into an engagement when you're still trying dudes out,"

"But he asked me to marry him and I said yes, I can't go back on that now," Alexa said. "I don't mind marrying AJ Styles, he's a really cool guy,"

"Yes I know, that's why Hunter and I put him on the list of eligibles. You know who else is a nice guy? Ricochet, Cedric Alexander, Angelo Jericho, Adam Cole...Alexa the whole point of surviving Rebound City is to make you comfortable dating again. You've only dated one dude since you broke up with Murphy and now you're engaged to him. Lexi this is nuts," Seth looked at Alexa Bliss seriously, "I would strongly recommend that you reconsider marrying AJ Styles and keep dating until you've found the perfect guy for you. The guy that fits you like a glove, not the guy that wears gloves and says thinks he's right for you because he's "Phenomenal","

"Wow, so that's why Kenny Omega hates you," Alexa Bliss said. "Is there anyone you won't tear down Seth?"

"Yeah, I'm sure there is I just haven't met them yet," Seth replied. "Feel free to ignore me if you want, I'll be here for you either way,"

Alexa looked at her engagement ring again and then smiled, "I'll ignore your advice. I'm getting married to AJ Styles before the year ends Seth Rollins and you better be there to support me,"

Seth shrugged, "Do I have a choice?" he said and Alexa Bliss hugged him. "He's only marrying you for your body,"

Alexa's brow rippled with anxiety, she didn't want to believe that AJ only wanted to marry her for her looks, "You're wrong Seth and I'll prove it. I'll get fat on purpose,"

"No don't do that its dangerous, don't mess with your body just to prove me wrong. Forget what I said, I'll come to the wedding," Seth said not wanting Alexa to compromise her health.

"No I'll be careful. I'll go nuts on all the wrong stuff for a week and then I'll see if AJ changes his mind about marrying me," Alexa said.

"He will definitely change his mind if you get fat, please Alexa don't put on weight, you're going to get hurt more than you realise," Seth said.

"You'll see I'm right when AJ marries my fat a**!" Alexa said and Seth sighed.

"What have I done?" he said quietly to himself and he waited fo to finish her match so she could hit him over the head for giving Alexa Bliss a way back to her biggest stronghold: her weight.
Alexa was in the best shape of her life and that wasn't lost on Seth, or anyone in the men's locker room. There was no way AJ Styles liked her for her personality alone and it looked like Alexa was going to have to find out the hard way that once again, when it came to her love life, Seth was always right and she was always wrong.
