"Goldie, can I talk to you?" he asked tapping his fingers together nervously, Goldie and Bonnie looked up at him. Bonnie tilted his head but Goldie nodded.
"Sure, privately?" he asked and Spring nodded and they walked into the corner of the room.
"Okay Springy, what's wrong?" he asked Springy? Where the heck did that come from? He thought, but kept the thought to himself, he didn't mind.
"I think I'm going insane." He said and Goldie tilted his head.
"Why's that?" he asked and Spring pulled him a little closer.
"I'm seeing imaginary coincidences." He said and Goldie pushed him back gently.
"I'm pretty sure that's not a thing SB." Said Goldie, Spring starred at him Where'd he getting these nicknames all the sudden? He sighed and brushed it off.
"I think I'm actually insane…" he said and Goldie sighed.
"You're not insane, probably just tired. Plus you really need to be fixed; Mike said he was going to get the parts to fix us today. So if you still think your insane after your fixed." Said Goldie putting his hands on his shoulders, which clamed Spring a bit.
"Alright…" he said taking a deep breath. Goldie smiled and patted him.
"There you go, deep breath." He said and Spring closed his eyes, he took a Goldie advice and looked up at the golden bear.
"Thanks." He said and Goldie let go of him.
"No problem buddy!" he said and patted him on the back. They walked back to Freddy and Bonnie, Spring felt a little bad, he hadn't told Goldie exactly what he had wanted but, he was to nervous that everyone would think he was a freak or something. He knew Goldie wouldn't, but he worried none the less.
"So, how did your night go?" Bonnie asked him as they walked closer; he shrugged and looked at Goldie.
"Good I guess, I feel a little better today…" he said rubbing his leg, which was starting to hurt more because he was just standing there.
"Ah, me and Freddy couldn't sleep at all. Worst night ever." Said Bonnie shrugging and Spring raised his eyebrows.
"What happened?" he asked and the purple bunny shrugged.
"The toys wouldn't stop fighting with each other, Mangle was always getting under Fred's nerves and the TB would try and help and he got TC mad and they started yelling and me and Freddy where the only ones who didn't leave the room at that point. Which was probably a mistake." Said Bonnie rubbing his chest and sighing.
"Oof, that's too bad. They should calm down in a few days, they like showing off how much noise they can make. I don't know why." He said shaking his head, thinking of the first time he meet them, they had all decided to sleep where he was and fought the whole night. He and Bonnie stood there in somewhat awkward silence, everyone else holding up a conversation around them.
"I think if Mangle just let poor Fred alone it would've been fine…" said Bonnie and Spring laughed.
"Yeah, most of the time Mangle takes what Fred to her a little too much to heart." Said Spring leaning on the wall to ease up the pain of standing a bit Gosh, it wasn't this bad yesterday… he thought sniffing.
"Umm, well…" said Bonnie stiffly, Spring sighed pushed himself of the wall.
"Mike's upstairs, eating breakfast." Said Spring randomly to Bonnie, thinking if Bonnie felt weird talking to him maybe he would go up and talk to the only human in the house.
"Oh, uh…Okay?" said Bonnie, but didn't move, making everything more awkward. Spring heard a loud thump as TC fell down the stairs, TB close behind.
"Awch." Said Bonnie as TB helped the small chicken up.
"Spring Bonnie!" yelled TC at the top of her voice, making Bonnie flinch and Spring walk over to her.
"You don't have to shout TC." He said kneeling down and brushing her off calmly. She pouted slightly at TB and turned more towards him.
"Fred said I was stupid, and Mangle said he was stupider and then TB said he was stupid and then Mangle said she was sorry for his stupitit-titt-tty-" she said trying to get the word right, "Stupidity." Put in Spring and nodded energetically.
"And then she said she was stupider then all of us… but that's not fair because I'm the stupidest." Said TC crossing her arms.
"What?" he heard someone from behind him say but he ignored it, the toys could be very confusing.
"I see," he said brushing her off a bit more, "Well, if you know you are, why you did you came to me?" he asked and TB stepped in.
"Well, we didn't actually come here to talk to you about that, It was something else." Said TB fixing his crooked bowtie, which was adorable.
"Alright then." Said Spring sitting down, because it was starting to hurt just kneeling there. TC sat down in his lap, although he didn't know why, and TB sat down cross legged in front of him.
"We were talking to Mr. Mike and he said are names where confusing…are they?" he asked and Spring tilted his head.
"I suppose they are, why?" he asked and TC and TB glanced at each other.
"Well, we don't want are fans confusing us with them," said TC pointing to the older animatronics, " so we were hoping you could re-name us!" she said and TB nodded, Spring starred at them for a second and sighed rubbing his face.
"Okay?" he said glancing up at the Goldie, who was just smiling down at him Real helpful you are he thought a bit bitterly.
"Anything y'all want to be called?" he asked and TC pointed to TB.
"He already picked out one!" he said and TB glared at her.
"I wanted to tell him that!" said the blue bunny, sticking his tongue out at TC.
"Don't do that, that's rude." Said Spring lighting tapping the top of TB's head, which made him stop.
"Well.. anyways, I though Tony would be okay…" he said glancing at Spring like he would disapprove or something.
"Alright, that's a perfect name!" he said smiling at the newly named Tony.
"What about me!" said TC yanking on his arm and he unintentionally let out a whimper. She stopped and shrunk back.
"I'm sorry…" she said and he smiled though his throbbing arm.
"Naw, it's okay. It's just.. I hurt that arm…already…" he said slowly and TC calmed down a bit.
"How about Tiffany?" he said, changing the subject and TC's eyes lit up.
"Oh my gawdness! I love it!" he said hugging him and he laughed and patted on her head.
"Alright, it's decided. Tony and Tiffany it is then!" he said and both the toys looked up at him.
"Ha!" said the newly named Tiffany.
"Take this Mr. Mike!" she yelled as she jumped of his lap and raced up the stairs, Tony stood there and then turned and walked up the stairs, fallowing Tiff. Spring sighed and shakily got up; Goldie walked up to hold his arm, to make sure he didn't fall back down after he got up.
"Well, that was new… I was just memorizing their names." Said Goldie to beak the awkwardness of having to help Spring.
"I was gonna talk to you about their names, I just never got to it." Said Spring shrugging at tapping Goldie's hand to indicate he could let got, so he did.
"Ay, we better go make sure the little seafarers don't ta anythin' ta poor ol' Mikey." Said Foxy, doing a toothy grin at Chica, Bonnie crossed his arms.
"Yeah, we better." Said Bonnie glaring at the pirate fox who raised his eyebrows at the bunny. Spring held back snort of laughter as the two walked past him, death glaring each other. Once they were gone, including Chica, Goldie gave him a confused look.
"What was that about?" he asked as Spring leaned against the wall chuckling.
"Bon likes Chica, and apparently so does Foxy, the poor kids." Said Spring as he started hurting himself with laughter.
"I don't think that's something I would laugh at; it might ruin their friendship Springy." Said Goldie crossing his arms as Spring just kept snorting.
"Well, if they've been friend as long as I think they have, I don't think so, plus, Chica obviously likes Bon more." Said Spring finally calming himself enough to talk without snorting. Goldie furrowed his brow and tilted his head.
"And when did you become an expert in this?" he asked and Spring sighed and shook his head, smiling.
"You don't need to be an expert to understand the big world of body language." He said tapping Goldie on the nose before pushing himself of the wall, into a standing position.
"Plus, I think I'm old enough to judge a bit." He said shrugging and painfully walking up the stairs again, since mostly everyone was up there. Spring eventually made it upstairs and walked into the living room, which was where the toys and Mike where.
"Spring!" Said Mangle running up to him and hugging him, he laughed and picked her up.
"So what y'all doin'?" he asked as he sat down with the group, Mike and Tony scooting over to give him and Mangle a spot.
"We were talking to Mike about what our show time was like!" said Tiff and Spring smiled.
"And it's perfect that you came, we were just about to tell him about you but know you can!" said Tony excitedly as the rest of the toys, yes, even Fred, leaned forward. Spring smiled and shrugged a bit as he put Mangle on his lap.
"Well, my show time was quite a bit different then y'all's, mostly because it was only me an' Goldie." He said shrugging and looking over at Mike.
"Back then Goldie was called Fredbear, he would sing an ay would play my ol' banjo, was mighty fun with all the lil' kids clapping an' singin' along." He said as Goldie walked into the room, but didn't sit down.
"How long where your stage times?" asked Fred, trying to look like he wasn't interested. Spring never really talked much about himself, although he would tell the toys funny show time stories sometimes.
"All darn day, never gotta break, did we Goldie?" he said turning to the golden bear who shrugged and nodded.
"Yeah, I think the time when our restaurant closed was when we could finally sit down." said Goldie laughing a bit and Spring nodded.
"I thought you had human partners for most of the day, my uncle used to wear Spring Bonnie." Said Mike looking straight at Spring who shifted uncomfortably, No, he can't be…can he? He thought starring wide eyed at Mike. Thankfully Goldie stepped in, literally.
"Yes, they did. But we were still activated when they did so." He said putting a hand on Springs shoulder, which snapped him out of starring at Mike.
"Want that dangerous?" asked Mike to Goldie who shifted his weight.
"For the human, yes. We did have some… accidents…" he said glancing at Spring.
"Hey Mike?" yelled Chica's voice from the kitchen.
"Is it okay if I use your fridge?" she asked and Mike tilted his head.
"For what?" he asked getting up and leaving the room. Spring looked up at Goldie, who looked a bit ruffled by the questions Mike had just asked.
"Is he…?" asked Spring and Goldie rubbed his face.
"Maybe Springy," said Goldie as Spring stood back up, leaving Mangle on the ground, " If we let him know what happened, I don't know how he would react, I think we should keep it to ourselves for the time being." Said the golden bear looking at him, he glanced at the kitchen.
"But… he should know about it, it's been years Goldie…." Said Spring slowly, grabbing onto Goldie's arm to keep himself steady. He glanced up at his partner, who looked conflicted.
"We can't tell him Spring, we don't even know how this happened." He said and Spring looked away.
"We will eventually though, right?" he asked and Goldie looked down at him, he slowly looked away and nodded.
"What are you guys talking about?" asked Tiff walking up to them and crossing her arms. Spring reluctantly let go of Goldie, barring the pain of standing again. He painfully kneeled down in front of her and put a hand on her shoulder.
"You know how me and Goldie had human partners?" he asked and Tiff nodded.
"Well, turns out they umm… knew Mike when he was younger… so we were just deciding whether we should tell him or not." he said glancing at the golden bear It's not a complete lie… he thought looking back down at the little animatronic, who looked more confused.
"I don't get it…" she said and Spring laughed.
"Join the party!" he said and pushed himself back up. He could hear his joints creek and he flinched a bit at the sound.
"You really need to get fixed." Said Goldie furrowing his brow as he helped Spring stand without falling over. He leaned on Goldie as Mike walked back in, he starred at them for a moment.
"He can't stand very well." Said Goldie patting Spring's side, which made Spring flinch a bit.
"Wow, I didn't know he was that bad." Said Mike walking up to them and examined Spring.
"It's a lot worse than it looks." Said Mike rubbing his chin and Spring glared at him.
"It's a good thing I have some parts already!" he said smiling up at Spring.
"I thought you needed to order the parts?" said Goldie tilting his head and Mike nodded.
"I was able to get most of y'all's blue prints so yeah, I ordered some yesterday night and last week that'll come today. Most of them come today but, you guys' parts are pretty easy to find, so I was able to collect them throughout most of last year." He said as he walked down the stairs, probably to go to the basement and the garage. Spring glanced at his partner, who shrugged. He waited for Mike as the toys left to go see what the others were doing Probably more interesting thought Spring scratching his nose. Goldie eventually helped him sit down; they sat there in somewhat awkward silence.
"Ah ha!" they both turned their heads to see Mike holding up a bag of...something. Mike walked up to them and kneeled down in front of Spring.
"Okay, I have some parts for your legs and chest." He said taking out a bunch or parts and setting them down on the carpet.
"I'll have to take of your legs to put on most of these parts though, is that okay?" he asked looking up at Spring who, in turn, glanced at Goldie.
"Yes, just be careful. It'll only hurt him if you rip them off." Said Goldie and Spring looked back down at Mike, who nodded. As Mike worked on un-screwing his legs he shooed Goldie out of the room.
"And here we are!" said Mike pulling of his leg, he put a hand down to keep himself up.
"This shouldn't take too long." Said Mike as he started talking out most of the rusted parts and replacing them with brand new ones. Well, he has to be one of the least sensitive mechanics I've had the pleasure of meeting he though shaking his head a little and chuckling. He sat there patiently as Mike did his 'magic' or whatever he kept mumbling to himself. He sat there starring at what Mike was doing, if he had the tools he probably could have fixed himself.
"Umm, I just realized this might be really un comfortable for you. Um, would you rather do this in the garage or something?" asked Mike looking up at him nervously and Spring smiled At least he noticed he thought and shrugged.
"If ya want ta, I don't really mind. But I think the others would.
He said smirking and Mike looked away. He sat there waiting for him to make a decision; he was still holding his leg so he couldn't really walk down to the garage.
