Chapter 11

The fellowship continued their journey, stopping once at night to rest and re-evaluate their route once again. The unlikely additional to the group continued on till late in the night with their stories and songs that kept not only the hobbits but the rest of the members entertained as well.

As soon as the group had quieted down, the division on the watch duty was divided among Aragorn, Legolas, Boromir and Gimli. While the hobbits were busy with putting out the fire and settling for the night, the ranger walked towards the edge of the river where he spotted Boromir silently crouched behind a rock, his gaze unflinching on a lone log floating in the distance.

"Gollum. He has tracked us since Moria." Aragorn walked to the side, unbothered by the spy who has been following them, "I thought we would lose him with the river, but he is too clever a waterman." Came his silent observation.

"And if he leads the enemy to our whereabouts? It will lead crossing even more dangerous." The gruff voice of Boromir broke through the silence.

Unknowingly to the pair, Alex and Frodo both heard them. Glancing quickly to Paul who was fast asleep beside her, Alex moved her gaze to sweep over Frodo's hunched form by the river. She continued to watch as Sam tried to coax Frodo into eating.

I guess I'm not the only one who has lost their appetite.

"Have some food Mr Frodo." Sam's kind voice broke through Alex's musings. Making another sweep around her, she found both Merry and Pippin and Gimli fast asleep. Legolas sitting alone atop a far rock, his gaze checking their surroundings. Alex knew the elf prince was also on alert for any unusual sound.

"No, Sam—"

"You haven't eaten anything at all all day and you're not sleeping neither. Don't think I haven't noticed. Mr. Frodo—" moving towards the ring bearer and sitting beside him.

"I'm alright—"

"But you're not. I'm here to help you. I promised Gandalf that I would." Alex smiled sadly watching Sam's concern over Frodo's health is touching. The hobbit is loyal to a fault and Frodo is lucky to have him.

"You can't help me, Sam. Not this time." Came the ring bearer's silent reply, turning his head back to gaze at the river again, "Get some sleep."

Feeling at a loss at what to do, Sam turned, slowly moving to his small cot by the not put out fire.

"Minas Tirith is a safer road—you know that. From there we can regroup. Strike out for Mordor from a place of strength," the Gondorian's tone pleading and desperate all of a sudden.

The tone as not lost on Aragorn as he listened to Boromir's rationalization. "There is no strength on Gondor that can avail us—"

"You are quick to trust the elves! Have you so little faith in your own people?" Full on desperation and aghast in Boromir's voice, "Yes, there is weakness! There is frailty!—but there is courage also, and honor to be found in men, but you will not see that."

Aragorn turned to leave, but was pulled back by his tunic. "You are afraid! All your life you have hidden in the shadows. Scared of who you are! And what you are!"

Pulling his tunic free, Aragorn's grey eyes hardened to stone, his gaze moving over the gondorian settling his glare on Boromir's eyes, "I will not lead the ring within a hundred leagues of your city!"

Alex did try but sleep evaded her. Looking towards Frodo's restless form, she saw she was not alone. They both heard the argument of Aragorn and Boromir.

The hairs on her arms stood, fear unlike any other started to spread through her. But her fear was forgotten as she sat up and saw Frodo's eyes wide with uncertainty, doubt and his own fear. The voices of Aragorn and Boromir slowly drifting to them.

Moving to stand and deciding to make her way towards the arguing pair, she was stopped by Legolas. "Don't. I can hear them too." The elf whispering in her ear,

"They need to keep it down, they're scaring Frodo."

"I am well aware." Legolas whispered, his eyes seeing hers, "We all are scared. Some much more than others."

Boromir.

Suddenly Alex's fear was forgotten. In its place was pity and understanding. Had she not had her own meltdown out of fear back on Lorien. It was only then that Alex recognized the pleading and desperation in Boromir's voice as fear. His silence since Moria and his aloofness all throughout had now just become a little clearer to her. Boromir is scared. His desire to protect his people, to end the evil that is slowly consuming them and his fear of failing has him desperate.

"Try to get some sleep, meleth." Legolas tried to urge her back to her own cot, "I get first watch. You're safe." His soft velvet voice wafting to her ears.

Hearing silence from both Aragorn and Boromir, Alex was placated for now. Nodding her head, "Promise me you'll get some rest?"

Smiling at her, the fluttering of his heart sudden. He was not expecting for her to show some concern. "I will." He whispered, brushing his hand across her lower back as he softly urged her back to her small cot.

When dawn broke, the elf, the ranger and the Gondorian were the first to wake. The dwarf took the last watch and decided to wake the rest of the fellowship.

Paul rubbed the sleep from his eyes, his gaze first action was to go a few meters behind the tree, dragging Alex with him they both try to attend to a basic human moment. As soon as they returned to camp, Paul immediately noted the tension within the group. "What did I miss?" His whisper directed at his best friend.

Exhaling through her nose and turning to fold her belongings along with Paul's, "A little argument last night." Her eyes flickering between Aragorn and Boromir.

Paul caught on fairly quickly to what Alex was trying to say. "Oh. I guess there will be no more singing for today huh?"

"Nope" popping the 'p'. Alex rummaged through her pack for something to clean her mouth with, when Paul's voiced out what she had been thinking out loud. "What do you use to clean your teeth with?" Finding a small cloth and both friends walking towards the water's edge to have some semblance of morning hygiene routine. As soon as the pair was done, they quickly followed the rest of the group to where they left the boats.

Without so much as a fight, Alex moved to step inside the boat, accepting Legolas' offered hand. As soon as she had settled herself, she chanced a glance at Frodo, seeing the bags under his eyes already knowing that the hobbit had not had any sleep last night. Moving her gaze over Boromir, she noted with her brow furrowing that the gondorian seemed to be even quite now than yesterday. He was staring into nothing, his eyes red rimmed. He looked pale and haunted, his mind is obviously miles away. Concern flooding for her companion. In the short amount of time she had been with them, Boromir had been the most gracious towards her. Sure, he had his own suspicions towards her at first, but during their stay at Lothlorien, she had actually found a friend with the silent man.

"Do you think he's going to be okay?" Turning her head slightly to the elf silently rowing behind her.

"I do not know. Something stirs and it is ever getting nearer." Legolas silently answered her, his gaze following her line of sight to Boromir, who is silently rowing the boat, but his gaze held nothing. His eyes blank, devoid of any thoughts.

Legolas' gaze turning sharp as he turn his head at the row of trees that lined the Anduin river. He could see the twin statues now, they are getting closer to Rauros. A few more hours and they will have to change their route.

"I'm scared, Legolas." Alex admitted quietly, looking down at her hands in contemplation about what awaits them. Pulling the elf out of this concentration. Everyday they are getting closer and closer to evil.

"I'm right here, love. Stay close to me." Reaching out with his one hand to rub her back softly, an assurance at that moment that she needed. She is not alone and she never will be.

It took them another six hours, the trees slowly fading and the river was now bordered with rocks and tall cliffs. The sun was already bright indicating that it as already midday.

Alex and Paul had to crane their necks at the view that greeted them. "Holy shit." Paul muttered, his eyes turning big like saucers as he gazed at the twin statue that would have put the The Petronas Twin Towers to shame.

On the other boat, Aragorn tapped Frodo's shoulder lightly, pulling the silent hobbit out of his thoughts, "The Argonath." Awe lacing Aragorn's tone. "Long have I desired to look upon the kings of old."

Passing through the twin statues, the members felt increasingly small, their gazes amazed at the sheer size up close. Continuing on their journey, the once narrow river opened up into a lake, turning their boats to the right, they followed the shoreline towards where the lake meets the falls.

It was by mid afternoon that the group had found themselves ashore by the lakeside. A heavy feeling of unease settling over the everyone.

"We cross the lake by nightfall. Hide the boats and continue on foot. We approach Mordor from the North." Aragorn instructed, looking around him to inspect if everyone is listening. To his right, Legolas stood still as a statue, his gaze intense upon the surrounding tree and foliage.

"Oh yes? Just a simple matter of finding our way through Emyn Muil?" Gimli's tone held disbelief at their route, "An impossible labyrinth of razor sharp rocks, and after that it gets even better!"

Paul stood still, his eyes widening at what the dwarf was narrating, while Alex's attention was held elsewhere. "Festering, stinking marshland as far as the eye can see." Gimli concluded,

"That is our road." Aragorn's tone leaving none for debate, "I suggest you take some rest and recover your strength, Master Dwarf."

Gimli sputtered, a string of curses and grumble escaping him at the implication that he may be tired. Paul and Pippin tried to lighten up the mood of the dwarf, both of them plopping down on the ground beside him.

"We should leave now." Legolas's voice hard,

"No. Orcs patrol the eastern shore. We must wait for the cover of darkness."

"It is not the eastern shore that worries me. A shadow and a threat has been growing in my mind." Sweeping his blue eyes over their surroundings, "Something draws near, I can feel it." His gaze unflinching as he stared at Aragorn.

Alex listened intently on the conversations around her, but it was Legolas' warning that gave her the chills. Something unsettling and sinister is waiting just beyond the cover of the trees.

"This place gives me the creeps." Paul muttered beside her, rubbing his arms to rid of the goosebumps.

"Tell me about it." Looking around them, feeling something amiss within them, suddenly her eyes landed on a familiar empty cot, both her and Merry talking at the same time he dropped a pile of twigs at the center of the camp.

"Where is Frodo?"

Six pairs of panicked eyes turned to both Merry and Alex and then shifting towards Frodo's vacated cot. It was Sam's panicked gaze that struck Alex for the hobbit scrambled to his feet and ran into the woods in his face the determination to find his friend. Aragorn's gaze flickered towards Boromir's vacant spot, the unmistakable armor left unattended.

"Find them both." The ranger growled, before he too disappeared into the woods.

Alex felt her sank. Boromir, no.

Everyone turned to scatter, picking up whatever weapon they could each reach to find Frodo and Boromir. Alex was on the verge of scrambling to the woods when she was yanked back, her back falling on a hard chest. "Stay here."

"No. I'm going to find them. I'm going to help."

"It is not safe. I need you to stay here—"

"Legolas, let go." Squirming trying to pull her arm free. Her eyes blazing as she gazed at the elf whose expression mirrored her own.

"Stay. Here." Legolas hissed, enunciating each word to emphasize his need for her to be safe, "I cannot help them, if I am worried for you."

"Leithio nin." Taking advantage of the astonishment on the elf's face at her words, Alex successfully pulled her arm free, feeling the sore muscle protest. Leaving the elf to collect his thoughts Alex scrambled into the woods to look for her friends.

Running uphill into the woods was not an easy feat. Alex was already feeling her leg burn due to exhaustion. "Alex c'mon!" Paul's vote echoed through the woods, turning her head left and right she found no trace of them.

"Paul!" But she was only greeted with silence. Alex continued running passing by a decapitated head statue, her perked at what sounded like whimpering.

"What have I done?"

Alex pushed further, her legs slipping beneath her due to the piles of dried leaves. Moving around a tree, she spotted a figured hunched over, his auburn hair falling over his face, his entire being littered with dead leaves, "Boromir!" Running as fast as her legs can carry her, she crouched down at her fallen and distraught friend. "What happened? Are you okay?"

Moving his hair away from his eyes, Alex tried to move Boromir into a sitting position, dusting off the leaves from his hair and face, her eyes searching his pained ones. "Frodo? Where is Frodo?"

"I—I don't know. I thought you were with him—"

"The ring!" As another dry sob wracked through him, his grasp on her shoulder a little too tight for her comfort, "I tried to take the ring from Frodo." His voice breaking at the end, the realization that the ring has successfully corrupted the once strong man.

"But you didn't—"

"Didn't I? Didn't I?" His growl of frustration evident at his current state,

"Boromir, you didn't. You don't have the ring." Alex tried to persuade her friend, her eyes searching his, hoping that he would see reason. "The Dark Lord tried to use you but he did not succeed."

"Alex—"

"Boromir, listen to me. Look at me." Alex voice turned firm, wanting to pull Boromir from his self loathing. She suddenly turned, sounds of swords clashing in the distance caught her attention, "The Dark Lord failed because of you. YOU. You could have let him consume you but you didn't. Don't lose hope." Pulling Boromir to her arms as she felt the Gondorian clutch her tighter, his own sobs wracking him.

"I tried to fight him. But he's inside my head. All the time." Alex heart breaking at every uttered syllable from Boromir's lips. He was suffering and nobody knew. The ring was after him for months and nobody knew.

"Shh. It's alright. The ring is out of your reach now." Alex soothed Boromir again, before releasing her arms around him.

"What the hell! I've looking everywhere for the both of you!" Paul broke through the foliage, his forehead covered own sweat, his sword hanging limply at his side. "What happened?" Trying to catch his breath and looking between Alex and Boromir.

"He tried to take the ring. The Dark Lord tried to use him to take the ring." Alex explained, "Where are the others?"

"I thought you'd know." Paul's voice rising, panic in his voice, "I heard shouts and fighting not too far from here, we should help them."

As if a light bulb had switched on, Boromir stood on firm legs. "We should go." Nodding his head towards Paul, "Milady, you should go find Frodo. He must be taken far away from here."

"What are you planning to do?"

"My guess is that they have tracked us. You should go." Nudging Alex to run the opposite direction of where Paul came from. "Go!"

"Go Alex! Gather the hobbits. We'll meet you back at the camp." Paul added, pulling Boromir and leading him towards where he came from. Both had started to run.

Alex watched in horror. Who had tracked them?

Running back down the hill had proven to be faster but much dangerous. She was dodging tree trunks and fallen logs left and right. Narrowly missing a low branch hanging, she fell on her butt for the umpteenth time.

"Hey! Hey you! Over here! Over here!"

"Hey! This way!"

Merry?

"It's working!"

"I know its working! Run!"

Pippin?

Alex scrambled to her feet, turning around from where she's standing but she could not see anyone. What the? Turning another round, she heard rustle of leaves to her leaves, following the sound she ran after it.

Alex was almost sure she was lost and alone. Until she broke through the clearing, finding herself on the shores by the lake. Glancing to her left and then to her right she saw their camp a few meters ahead. She was scrambling and maneuvering her way around the slippery rocks when she spotted Frodo break through the camp. His short legs making quick work of packing his things.

"Frodo!"

As if he was burned by the sound, Frodo turned staled to find the Alex. "Stay away from me!"

"Frodo, its okay. I'm not going to hurt you." Alex held her hands out , a sign of surrender. Hoping to calm the obvious scare hobbit down.

"Milady." His eyes turned sad, "Please take care of them for me."

"You're leaving." Understanding dawning on Alex at what Frodo is about to do.

"This is something I must do alone. I cannot put another one of you in danger." His blue eyes turned pleading, as he shifted between looking at her and packing his bags.

Studying the hobbit one last time, Alex moved to her bags and then to Legolas' and then to Paul's and then to the others.

"What are you doing?" Frodo observed her with confusion,

"You will need these." Stuffing all the lembas and water sack she could find into the hobbits pack.

"Milady—"

"Don't argue with me. I will not try to stop you. But take this." Her movements in a hurry, her hearing distracting her from all the rustled leaves and heavy footfalls she could hear. Her hands shaking while stuffing Frodo's bag with things she thought he would need. Food, water and an extra blanket was stuffed hurriedly into the small leather bag. "Hurry!"

Pulling the hobbit to his feet and throwing all the sack over the closest boat they could find. "Push." Alex grunted, as they both heaved with all heir might push the small but heavy boat to the water. "Climb in! I'll hold them off."

"Alex—" Frodo watched as the lady pulled her own blade out, they were cut off by a horn sounding in the distance. Both of their attention were puled momentarily to the sound.

"Go! I'll hold them off." Pulling her own blade out and preparing herself for whatever that might come running out from the woods behind them.

Frodo was almost at the crossing of the lake when Sam's voice broke through. "Frodo!" Alex's attention was also caught by Sam's voice. "Frodo, no! Mr. Frodo!"

"Sam! Sam, stop!" Alex tried to pull the hobbit to the side but he just kept pushing her aside.

"Go back, Sam! I am going to Mordor alone." Frodo yelled from where he was perched on the boat, watching as Alex and Sam tried to fight each other off at the shore.

With one final push, Sam was able to free him self from Alex's hold. "Of course you are and I'm coming with you!" Walking fast with determination despite the already deepening water around him, Sam continued on.

"You can't swim! Sam!" Sam was drowning, his legs unable to reach the bottom of the lake no longer. His frame made heavy by the cloak his wearing which ad also started to tangle his legs.

"Sam!" Frodo's panicked voice broke, watching as Sam disappear from the surface of the water.

"Shit!" Alex hurried to remove her cloak and drop her blade. Pulling off her boots in the process, she quickly jumped into the water, her strokes taking her closer and closer to Frodo's boat. Her throat was already burning, her lungs constricting. Broking through the surface gasping for air, "I can't see him." Taking her last breathe, Alex dived again, her eyes burning at the effort of keeping her eyes open underwater. Moving her arm around, she felt fabric brush past it. Quickly grabbing the whatever she could reach of the cloth, she pulled with all her might to the surface.

Frodo watched on with bated breath, his blue eyes wide with fear that he might be witnessing two of his friends drown. His fear was thwarted as soon as he spotted Alex gasp loud, her head breaking the surface for the last time, in her arms was Sam who was also gasping for air.

"I got him. Pull him up, Frodo." Alex was out of breathe, her lungs burning, her legs exhausted from all the running and now the swimming.

Quickly reaching over to pull Sam onto the boat, Frodo heaved with all his strength. As soon as Sam was safely on board, both hobbits turned to Alex but she waved them. "Go!"

"Milady!-"

"Just Go! I'll explain everything to them." Nodding her head before turning to swim back to shore. With her entire body screaming for her to take a breather, Alex pulled herself onto the shore.

She was caught by surprise by a lone Uruk Hai charging towards her. Unable to slip on her boots, Alex reached for her blade and was forced to right the monster on slippery socks. Her grasp on her sword slipping more and more as water continued to drip from her clothes and hair.

Both hobbits watched in horror as their friend struggled to fight off the Uruk Hai. "She's going to die because of us." Sam said, sadness clear on his tone and face. Sam was torn, wanting to go back and help Alex, but at the same knowing that her life meant less and the destruction of the ring is their only aim. How many people would have to die, how many lives is the ring expecting to take just for evil reign free again? Frodo watched on, repulsed and angered at the idea that so much evil for such a small thing. Grasping the ring with renewed anger, he vowed to destroy the ring, if it's the last thing he'll do.

Alex's arms are already screaming in pain. Blocking blow after blow of the relentless monster. His snarl bringing white, cold fear in her veins. Alex could hear Boromir's voice in her head, his instructions shouting in her ears.

Not too high, but not too low either.

A struck of miracle, and Alex had pushed the monster to his side, loosing his footing and his scimitar slipping from his hold. Her sword slicing the beast's arm off, but what Alex was not expecting was that the large monstrosity would be so nimble and was able to kick her own blade from her hand as well. Both unarmed, Alex struggled under the beast's hold, feeling around her for whatever she could find, Alex grabbed a rock and knocked the beast's head to the side but his hold remaining strong and firm. His next act was to back hand her, breaking her lower lip. Alex saw stars, her gaze blackening for a second. She continued to struggle as the she realized when her legs hit cold water, that the east was dragging her tot he edge of the lake, without so much as a warning the beast submerged her under water. Her nose and ears filling with water.

"Alex!" Both Sam and Frodo screamed, dread filling them. "We have to go back!" Frodo struggled to his feet, finding the oar and struggling with its weight and length to row back.

"Let her go!" Sam was frantic, his screams falling and deaf ears. They were so far away. Alex's head had been under water for almost a full minute, her thrashing legs and arms already slowing.

"Give up or the she-elf dies—" As soon as the words left the beast's mouth, a his words were cut off, a single blade protruding from his chest. HIs black blood spilling out.

"Holy fuck, Alex!" Paul pushed the beast to the side, his moves scrambling to pull Alex out of the water. Her eyes were red, her throat burning from screaming and fighting to some air. "What the fuck.." Paul muttered, pulling a sobbing and shaking Alex out of the water, placing her down on dry land and pulling the nearest blanket he could find and draping it over her shoulders. As he went to rubbing her arms, her frame shivering, his lips turning a pale blue from being submerged in ice cold water. The other three member of the fellowship came running through, hearing the struggle and cries of Frodo and Sam and thrashing of water.

Legolas' panicked gaze sweeping their once camp, his eyes falling on a dead Uruk hai and to Alex hunched over, with Paul rubbing her arms, her friend's gaze filled with worry and fear. Legolas steps were quick, reaching his intended destination he crouched down in front of her, seeing her soaking wet, her lips pale and busted. His hands instantly cradling her face, his thumbs sweeping across her wet cheeks. "What happened?"

"I'm okay. I'm alright." Alex voice croaked, her throat still burning from her earlier ordeal.

"You were almost drowned to death. You re not fucking alright." Paul hissed, stepping on the dead carcass as added momentum for him full his sword out. "Don't scare me like that again." Paul's eyes hardened, his posture on edge. Unknowingly to the pair, Legolas' eyes hardened to, his frustration at Alex reflecting in his eyes.

"Where is Merry and Pippin?" Alex croaked, it still hurt to talk but seeing as they are missing three members, she had to ask.

"They were taken." Legolas' voice was blank, devoid of any emotion. Anger radiating off of him.

"Boromir?" Her voice breaking, not because of her throat, but something far more heartbreaking had started to creep into her. I just saw him.

"He deserves a proper burial." It was Aragorn who stated, his gaze faraway, suddenly looking defeated and exhausted.

"No!—" Alex turned to stand, but she was crushed against Legolas. Sobs wracking her frame. "He's not dead!"

"Meleth," another sob escaped her, and Legolas had to hold her tight feeling her legs might give out on her, "He was trying to save Merry and Pippin."

"That arrow was suppose to be for me," Paul's broken voice interrupted all of them, "he pushed me out of the way." With his head bowed down. "He gave up his life to save us." Paul's voice was quiet, his stare blank except for the few tears that escaped his eyes and falling onto his cheeks. "He deserves a proper burial." Nodding his head, his eyes red rimmed with unshed tears. Moving to Aragorn who was busy removing items from a nearby boat.

"Help me carry him." Aragorn asked, not Paul and Legolas nodding and following the ranger back into the woods.

"Stay with Gimli." Legolas whispered, pulling her towards the dwarf who was quiet throughout the whole exchange.

"Hear Lass, you need a drink." Gimli's voice was barely above a whisper. The dwarf had removed his helmet, his axe beside him. "He was a good man. Gondor would be proud of his service." Gimli muttered, before raising his flask and drinking from it.

Alex took a swing from Gimli's flask, the strong taste and burning sensation down her throat caught her off guard, trying to control her coughing fit, her face flushed, "What is it?"

"Dwarf Ale." Gimli's gruff voice answered, his gaze still lingering on the now still lake.

No sooner had the three left, they arrived back with Boromir's body. Three black arrow staring angrily from where they are embedded in his chest and abdomen. Alex could not contain herself, as a few more angry tears flowed freely. "Let me." Moving forward, she knelt beside his body, pulling the three black arrows, and moving to fix his hair. "Goodbye, Boromir." Whispering the last part, before she turned towards the lake and throwing the three arrows into it.

"Rest in peace, Boromir." Paul muttered, arranging the gondorian's hands over the sword that Aragorn had placed over his body. Legolas muttering something in elvish, as well as Gimli in dwarf language.

Before turning to push the boat out onto the falls, Aragorn reached and pulled Boromir's bracers. All three of them pushing the boat into his final resting place over the Falls of Rauros, with Alex and Gimli standing off to the side.

All five of them stood still as they watched silently as the boat disappear from their view.

As soon as the boat fell from view, Legolas went reaching for the next vacant boat, pushing it with ease, with what took two people to push over the shore's edge, "Hurry! Frodo and Sam had reached the eastern shore—" his voice fading, reading the expression on Aragorn's face as he fastened Boromir's braces to his forearm. His gaze flickering to Alex who also held the same resigned expression."You mean not to follow them."

"Frodo's fate is no longer in our hands." Aragorn answered truthfully, his hand patting Alex's shoulder, a simple gesture letting her know that he had an idea of what she did.

"Then it has all been in vain. The fellowship has failed." Gimli's sad voice added, his gaze looking down at the ground.

Paul watched as his friends suddenly seemed lost, when realization dawned on him while watching Aragorn moved to arranged his blades to his body, "Not yet." Paul smirked, earning the attention of the dwarf, the elf and Alex's.

"Not if we hold true to each other. " Aragorn nodded, agreeing, "We will not abandon Merry and Pippin to torment. Not when we still have strength left." Turning to collect his other blades and a few scraps of food and left over water sack, "Leave all the can be spared behind." HIs gaze and confidence suddenly inspiring the others to move. "Let's hunt some orc." Running towards the woods to follow the tracks of the pack of beasts that hunted them. The hunter has not become the hunted.

Suddenly, Alex felt renewed. An anger she never felt before surging within her at the possible fate of her friends, but she will not lose hope. They will not give up that easily. Running along with Paul and Legolas, following Aragorn.

"Yes! Haha!" Gimli exclaimed, excitement and determined to avenged their fallen comrade and rescue their captured friends.
