(First off, sorry for being away for so long, A lot of personal problems hit me at the same time.)

So, after that whole future mess, Cell was reminded of Half Breed Potential, by seeing that Super Saiyan Rage form. How interesting. A form that's stronger than Super Saiyan 3 without taking away as much stamina, yet unlike God or Blue, it didn't take any kind of divine energy to unlock. He asked Gohan if he wanted to, but he's taken his own route. Instead of light training, or super intense training, he decided to stick to a level somewhere in the middle, spend time with his family, and do his fighting as the Great Saiyaman. Keep in mind, he's still FAR stronger than in canon. Now, the rate at which he improves has just dropped. Not to mention, he still uses his Mystic Form as his Base.

And there's Goten outside, eavesdropping through the window. A teenager now, yet due to obviously having more of his father's genes than Gohan, he barely looks older than he did when Buu was a threat.

Cell walks out of his former great partner's home, a little pissed off at him. Though Cell is a good guy now, his Personality hasn't changed. That's the strange thing about Cell. Due to having Frieza's cunning and polite demeanor in his voice, yet Independent human emotion, and the urge to keep finding challenges in battle like a Saiyan, he can work as all of the above, Evil, Neutral, and Good, without much change. So, in his mind, he's still the Perfect Being. Though now it is partly to protect the earth, and just have fun, like a more aggressive and cocky Goku, he mainly fights to prove he is Perfect, superior to everyone else. That may change soon though. Goten calls from behind the Green Bug man.

"Uncle Cell, wait!"

Cell thinks to himself-

"They're still using that damn nickname..?"

He knows the little one will just keep on bothering him if he doesn't respond, so he simply stops walking away and replies-

"What?"

Goten takes a moment to think of what he wants to say, and then spits it out.

"I heard you needed someone to train with, and I got to thinking, you're one of the only reasons I continue to train. Do you think I could take Gohan's spot?"

Wow- Cell actually never expected this to come from the boy. He could hear the determination in his voice. He wanted to get as strong as his other family members, maybe even surpass them. Cell respects this wish of his. And maybe he can help make that wish more possible, while also making himself stronger. So he accepts the Half Breed's offer.

"Fine.. Follow me. We'll be using the Hyperbolic Time Chamber."

So, stopping to get multiple bags of Senzu Beans on the way, the two enter the Time Chamber.

Nobody but Piccolo knows this happens. And his lets it happen, in fact, he smirks at the thought. He knows his DNA is kicking in for Cell.

Anyways, now to explain the Training. Obviously, Cell gives Goten a little test, similar to Vegeta and Trunks, Cell says if Goten can hit him once, he'll train him. If not, Goten leaves the Time Chamber and goes back to his own training.

Goten accepts this challenge, jumping straight to Super Saiyan and throwing the fastest flurry of punches possible. But, this is easy for Cell. Using one hand, he catches all of those fists.

Soon, Goten goes to his knees. Complaining about how he can't do it- He isn't strong enough, he explains. Cell drops his defenses, about to do something for the first time. Encourage someone. But then remembers something, and asks-

"Wait, can't you ascend-"

Just then, he does so, he ascends to Super Saiyan 2, and lands that one shot that he needs to in order to train with Cell. It didn't do much damage, but it did do something. Cell hops back to gain distance, wiping the mark from the shot off his cheek, before saying-

"Slick bastard.. Fine, you pass. Training begins now!"

Cell and Goten shoot at Eachother, and of course, they're fists clash...

Cut to 2 Earth Days, 2 Time Chamber Years, later. Cell and Goten are missing, Gohan and his Father have looked everywhere, to no avail. Goku is about to gather the Dragon Balls, and ask for the two to be transported back to Earth from wherever they are. But all of a sudden, their energies are back on the grid. Both of them are stronger. Cell's? About 3 and a half times, maybe. Goten though, his energy signature is MASSIVE compared to what it was. Also, everyone noticed Goten was older physically now. A little closer to End of Z Goten, wearing a strange set of clothes. Like Goku's Gi, but with long sleeves, The orange is replaced by a Dark Green. And like his Z uniform, the inside part is black. Also, a massive symbol painted on the back.
