Chapter 10 :
Abhijeet separated from the hug and Kartik patted his cheeks lovingly..
Kartik (In loving tone): Mera bhaii na aise hasta aur khush achha lagta hai and he handed him a gift box…
Abhijeet (in sweet excitement): Woohoo bhaii yeh mere liye ?..Kartik nodded at him lovingly..and he opened the gift and was really happy to see the beautiful watch..Thank you bhaii bahut achha hai sachii..
Kapil and Kartik smiled at him..
Tanish (dramatically):Bhai sahab maine tere liye world cup vala cake banvaya hai thoda rehm karo uspar aur jao jaakar kaato usko..Abhijeet chuckled at it and all of them went for cutting cake..After cutting the cake Kapil and Kartik mischievously applied cake on his face..Abhijeet smiled wholeheartedly on their act...After celebrating the birthday and giving him gifts..
Kapil sir : Bhaii chalo bahut masti ho gayi jao jaakar so jao kal match hai na..All nodded at him with a smile..After everyone went he called Kartik and Abhijeet..(In a bit of shy tone) vo Abhii yeh mai tumhare liye laya tha please rakh lo aur mana mat karna..he gave him a golden bat..(In teary tone) yeh na maine apne bete Ujjawal ke liye liya tha socha tha uske 18th birthday pe dunga par usse pehle hi he choked and turned his face to the other side to hide his tears..
Abhijeet smiled in tears and immediately hugged him..Kapil just tightened his grip on him and smiled in tears he opened the other hand for Kartik and hugged him tightly too..He kissed their heads lovingly..After separating from hug Abhijeet cutely wiped his tears and kissed his cheeks..
Abhijeet (lovingly): Sir aap roya mat kijiye..please hum log bhi aapko rota hua nahi dekh sakte sir..aur sir yeh bahut achha hai sahi mein..
Kartik (In loving tone): Haan sir please ab to aap khush raha kijiye ab to hum aapke sath hai na hum aapko chod kar kahin nahi jayenge..Kapil smiled in tears and patted their cheeks lovingly..
Kapil sir : Chalo bhai kal century maarni hai ya nahi dono ne..both nodded at him with a smile...and all three went to their rooms and slept with a sweet smile on their faces…
In Morning (ACP sir's home):
ACP and Arpita were standing near a statue of god and praying for the safety of their child on his birthday…
ACP sir (joining his hands initiated in a teary tone): Please bhagwan ji mere bachhe ki humesha raksha karna..usko har musibat se bachana…pata nahi vo bichara kis haal mein hoga aap please usko theek rakhna humesha..
Arpita (in a teary tone): Hey bhagwan please mujhe mere bachhe se milva do jaldi se jaldi aaj pure tin saal ho gaye maine uska chera nahi dekha.. ACP took her into a side hug..
ACP sir (in consoling tone ): Himmat rakho Arpita humara bachha theek hoga usko kuch nahi hoga dekhna tum...Arpita nodded at him lightly…
Arpita (in a teary tone ): Bhagwan kare ki aap theek keh rahe ho agar usko kuch bhi hua na to mai apne aap ko kabhi bhi maaf nahi kar paungi... ACP softly wiped her tears…
ACP sir (softly held her hand): Tum dekhna usko kuch nahi hoga usko hmm Arpita nodded at him lightly…
Otherside (In Wankhede Stadium Mumbai):
Whole Team was standing in a circle with all the members of squads including some legends from Indian Cricket..like Sunil Gavaskar,Kapil Dev..
Kapil Sir (In Proud tone): I invite former captain of our Indian Team Kapil Dev for the most awaited moment to present the Indian Cap to our Vice Captain Kartik..Kartik came forward and bent down to touch his feet to take his blessings and Kapil Dev made him wear Indian Cap..
Kapil Dev (to Kartik): Kartik I am really delighted that I have got this honour to present the cap to the vice captain of our current team..Kartik was smiling sweetly and all others were applauding proudly for him..my only wish is that you all will make India proud after winning today's match and world cup too..Kartik nodded at him in smile…
Kapil sir : Thank you sir.. (In proud tone and happiness was clearly visible from his face) Now guys the most anticipated moment that would be surely marked in Cricketing History of this world..to acknowledge it I invite former batsman Sunil Gavaskar to present Indian cap to current captain of the Team Abhijeet who will captain India at the age of 18 ..Abhijeet came forward with a proud smile on his face and he shook hands with Sunil Gavaskar..and he bent to take his blessings..Sunil Gavaskar just held him from shoulder and proudly hugged him…
Sunil Gavaskar (to Abhijeet): Abhijeet I am really happy that I have got this opportunity to present the cap to you..you must be remembering I met you in Maharashtra vs Delhi match Abhijeet nodded at him with a smile and Kapil paaji (to Kapil Dev) aapko pata hai maine iss larke ko bola tha ki yeh ek din Indian team mein dikhega aap na isko khelte hue dekhoge na to fan ho jaoge iske..aaj dekhna pakistan ka band bajta hai..everyone laughed at him lightly
Kapil dev : Arre sunny bhai maine isko kitne baar khelte hue dekha hai isliye mai sure hun iss baar world cup is coming home..Abhijeet downed his head in shyness..all of them laughed at his shyness and Kapil and Kartik were smiling proudly in tears…
Sunil Gavaskar (ruffling his hairs): Beta century maar kar aana..and guys all the best hope you all will do wonders in today's match...our best wishes are always there with you all..bye everyone match is going to start pretty soon...so go and get ready for most important day of your life..bye everyone
Team (together): Thank You sir..Kapil Dev and Sunil Gavaskar went after bidding them goodbye…
In DIG sir's house :
DIG sir (talking to Abhijeet's photo): Aaj bachhe tumhara sapna sach hone jaa raha hai bhagwan kare tumhe sab kuch mille jo bhi tum apni zindagi mein achieve karna chate ho sab mille aur aaj mai tumse tin saal baad milunga mujhse to wait hi nahi ho raha beta..bass aaj ke shaam ke chief guest aa jaye phir mai aa raha hun tumhare paas aur bachhe tumhara 18 th birthday hai aaj humesha khush rehna aur beta mai tumhare har faisle mein tumhara sath dunga kabhi tumse koi saval nahi puchunga kyunki mujhe pata hai tumhara koi faisla galat nahi ho sakta.. Suddenly doorbell rang he smirked at his picture bachhe lagta hai plan shuru karne ka vakt aa gaya hai aaj jinhone bhi tumhara sath nahi diya na sabko pata chalega mera bachha kitna layak hai..he caressed his photo and went to open the door..
At Doorstep :
He saw the whole team standing there except ACP and Arpita..
DIG sir : Pankaj vo tumhara ACP kaha hai…
Pankaj : Sir vo log aa hi rahe honge hum log to bureau se aaye hai..direct hi DIG nodded at him but he was very restless as if ACP would not come today his plan would fail totally..but his wait came to the end when he saw them coming..
DIG sir (murmured): Aa gaye aaj ke chief guest aa gaye ab maza aayega and he smiled cutely..chalo bhai sab log chalte hai sab aagaye..Arpita tried to talk with her brother but he ignored her totally..her face totally fell she looked towards ACP who just assured her through his eyes..and everyone went out and sat in their respective cars..DIG , ACP and Arpita were in the same car..
In DIG sir's car :
DIG ACP and Arpita were sitting in the backseat of the car..
Arpita(in teary tone) : Bhaiya suniye..
DIG sir (in stern tone though he felt bad at her teary call but her actions with Abhijeet were certainly not justified): Driver thoda tez chalao hum late ho rahe hai (to Arpita) jee ma'am aapne kuch kaha kya...
Arpita(in hurt and teary tone) : Bhaiya vo mujhe aapse maafi maangni hai..
DIG sir (In anger): Kyu maafi maangni hai tumne mujhse kya bigara hai tumne mera jisse maangni chaiye thi usse to maafi maangi nahi aur mai to tum dono ko tab tak maaf nahi karoonga jab tak mera bachha tumhe maaf nahi kar deta..Arpita and ACP was looking at him with moisture in their eyes..but he totally ignored it..After more wait for half an hour they reached Wankhede Stadium Mumbai..
At Wankhede Stadium :
CID team went and sat in the first row of the stadium..
DIG sir (glancing towards both of them a bit): Aap log bethiye mai abhi aata hun..all of them nodded at him though not satisfied..he straight away went towards the player's dressing rooms..
Guards : Sir aapko kaha jana hai..
DIG sir : Mujhe Indian team ke dressing room mein jana hai before he could deny he showed him his identity proof..
Guards (with a smile showing him the way): Sir aap uss taraf se jayie vahan pe hai bahar boards vagarah hai aap samajh jayenge..DIG nodded at him..
In Dressing Room :
He went to the desired way that he had shown him and entered inside the dressing room..he can see the whole team there but not Abhijeet..
Kapil sir (confusingly): Aap kon hai aur aap andar kaise aaye..
DIG sir : Mai DIG Arvind hun Kapil nodded at him aur mujhe Abhijeet se milna hai..
Kapil sir (confused tone): Aapko Abhijeet se kyun milna hai ?..
DIG sir : Sir vo please aap usko bula dijiye phir aapko sab pata chal jayega..Kapil nodded at him confusingly..
Kapil sir : Kartik beta Abhijeet ko bula kar lana vo vahan hoga laptop pe hai jayo please..
Kartik nodded at him and went to call Abhijeet..After few moments Kartik came there with Abhijeet who was talking casually with him...moisture formed in DIG's eyes to see him after three years..Abhijeet came near them and was badly shocked to see him..
Kapil sir : Beta yeh DIG Arvind hai yeh tumse milna chate the..before he could speak further..
DIG sir (In a teary tone called him with extreme love): Beta..mujhe kab tak saza doge ek baar gale bhi nahi lagoge ?..itna bura hun kya mai mera to koi kasoor nahi tha na..Abhijeet was looking at him with tears in his eyes..he opened his arms and Abhijeet immediately hugged him really tightly and started crying loudly..the whole team was looking at them in great confusion..DIG was softly flaring his hand in his head to calm him..(In loving tone) bass bachhe aur kitna rona hai..he kissed his head lovingly..After separating him from hug he wiped his teary face and kissed his forehead..
DIG sir (with extreme love): Mera bachha nahi royega vo sirf khush rahega thik hai..
Abhijeet (smilingly): Mamu I missed you..DIG kissed his cheeks lovingly while Kapil and Kartik who knew about his past were badly shocked they were just trying to grasp the things..
DIG sir (lovingly): I missed you too mere bachhe..
Kapil sir softly kept hand on his shoulder..and was looking at him with concern in his eyes..
Abhijeet smiled at him and nodded..
DIG sir : Mai bhi kitna bada bevakuf hun mai to apne tiger ko happy birthday bolne aya tha vo to bhul hi gaya Abhijeet smiled at him in tears..he gave him his gift..aur tiger all the best mai tumhare liye cheer karunga aaj..aur tum bilkul pareshaan mat hona beta mai tumhare har faisle mein tumhara sath dunga bachhe..Abhijeet smiled at him and nodded..
Vaibhav : Vaise Abhii ek baat puchu ?..Abhijeet nodded at him in yes..vo Abhii tumhare relatives itne bade bade officers hai tumne cricket hi kyun chose kiya..
Abhijeet (with a gloomy face ): Bhaii mere papa ACP hai CID ke aur mamu se to aap mil hi liye hai..aur mujhe yeh job bilkul pasand nahi hai isme jo laash khun hota hai mujhse nahi dekha jayega roz kisi ko marte hue yeh sab mai nahi dekh sakta aur mai bachpan se hi Sachin ka bahut bada fan raha hun to mujhe Sachin jaisa banna tha..All smiled at him aur phir ek din jis din mere 10th board ka result aaya uss din he narrated every thing to them ..tears started flowing through every pair of eyes in great speed….yeh hua tha Vaibhav bhaii..
Vaibhav came near him and softly kept his hand on his head…
Vaibhav ( in teary tone): Tu bhaut himmat vala hai yaar itna to koi akele nahi kar sakta…
DIG sir (smiled in tears): Isliye to mai isse tiger bulata hun Abhijeet chuckled at it while...everyone laughed at it lightly..

Sorry to those who want a match from this chapter but some of you requested to show clearly some moments between DIG and Abhijeet so I have written this for them..hope you all liked it and please review it honestly..bye tc..
