Note: Here's the story's epilogue, even though there's a chapter after this one. I hope that you have enjoyed the story and that you are interested in reading my other ones. Alright, I've said enough, let's move on.

Chapter 13: Epilogue

Krystal came out of her Arwing and looked at Sabre and Randorn.

"Long time no see, Krystal." Randorn greeted.

"We hope that your team has been treating y-" Sabre started to speak before he felt something wrap him and Randorn in a hug. Sobbing came from the person who was hugging them: Krystal.

"Are you okay?" Sabre asked in concern.

"I missed you!" Krystal sniffled.

"And we missed you." Randorn said as he hugged the cobalt vixen back.

"Sorry if we missed your birthday." Sabre said.

"It's okay," Krystal said, "seeing the both of you again is a late birthday gift for me."

Bill and the rest of Star Fox came out with a handcuffed Maria. Fox, Slippy, Peppy, and Bill smiled as they saw Krystal hugging Sabre and Randorn. Falco, on the other hand, didn't look surprised.

"Do you think that Krystal's friends would join our team?" Falco asked.

"I think that it would be better if we got Sabre and Randorn to a homeless shelter before they could become citizens on Corneria." Bill said.

"What about Fairweather?" Fox asked.

"Let's hope that the General will go easy on her." Slippy said.

"He will, trust me." Peppy said.

A few days later, Sabre and Randorn were relocated to Corneria, where they were sent to live at a shelter. As for Maria, she was put on trial for her crimes as a bounty hunter. She was sentenced to two years in prison by General Pepper, but the sentence was shrunk down to seven months. The reason for this was because General Pepper wanted Maria to carry out a few missions for the Cornerian Army. The bounty hunter agreed, but she wanted to make sure everyone knew the truth about Adrian DiMaggio.

News outlets revealed the truth about Adrian DiMaggio and what his plans were. Now that the rich cougar was dead, those plans would not be carried out. In addition, Bloodscourge was back in jail, with more guards keeping an eye on him to make sure that he didn't escape again. As for Star Fox, they were given the reward for capturing the murderous jackal, but not the reward for killing DiMaggio. The team didn't mind, as they were told to only capture Bloodscourge by Bill. Also, they were invited to a gala by the Cornerian Army.

However, the virus that DiMaggio had stolen was returned to Corneria in spite of being cured. Despite that, General Pepper figured that the virus would have been cured prior to being retrieved. As Krystal had given him certain information, the dog allowed Star Fox to collect the reward. At the gala, the team had met up with Sabre and Randorn, who were finally able to get a house on Corneria. As the event went on, the two wolves spent some more time with Krystal, who they had barely interacted with on Corneria. The three were given permission to see each other when Krystal wasn't on a mission. It seemed that everything would be alright.

Four months had passed, and it was a cold January morning. Today was another day for a pink cat, who had been up before the sun. She had gotten finished eating breakfast, and was ready to do some winter cleaning.

"I better call Krystal and Fara," the feline said to herself, "they might be interested in giving me a hand."

Note: I shouldn't leave the story on a cliffhanger, but it leads into another story that I'll start writing in January. Also, I probably should have mentioned that Sabre and Randorn were found in September, seeing as it had been four months since they were found on Fortuna. I hope that everyone has enjoyed the story, because there are more coming your way. What did you guys think about this chapter? Let me know when you leave a review or give a constructive criticism. Until next time guys, peace!
