Another time skip. This is back to when Brian is working at the shop, but a couple years later.

"Welcome to Leo and Calypso's Auto Repair and Mechanical Monsters. How can I help you?" Brian asked

"I'm looking for Valdez." An angry looking woman with choppy brown hair said.

"You'll have to be more specific."

"The little punk who managed to prank me from three states away. Short and Elf-like."

"Leo or Ember?"

"Leo." She seemed really angry.

Calvin pressed down the intercom system "Leo, there is a very angry looking woman here looking for you. She looks ready to kick down your door."

"Piper, Annabeth, or Hazel?" He asked, as if this was a normal occurrence

"Piper." The woman supplied.

"It's Piper, sir."

"Oh. I'm gonna go hide."

"VALDEZ! GET OUT HERE RIGHT NOW." There was power to her words, and it almost made him want to follow her order.

"Hello Beauty Queen. Why are you yelling at me today?"

"You hacked my alarm clock to crow like a rooster every hour." She said "I am raising two small children, I don't get enough sleep as is. How did you do that anyway? Our clock isn't connected to the internet"

"I have my ways." Leo grinned impishly, and Piper smacked him.

"Why are we even friends, Repair Boy?" She ranted

"Because we've been through a whole load of shist together. And you're not so perfect either. You stole a BMW." He supplied

"I was 15! And I didn't steal it"

"Well you landed in Wilderness School. And I had a very good reason for ending up there."

"Okay. I'm still very angry at you, but I would like to see my goddaughter. Where is she?" Piper concluded

"Em's in her room. Be sure to knock, Anilla's gone back to New York for a while, so she is a little grumpy." Leo said

"Okay." And Piper walked off.

"What happened just now?" Calypso walked in, noticing Leo's slightly red face from where the slap had hit and the receding footsteps. "Piper?"

"Yeah. I may have rigged her alarm clock."

"And she came all the way to California?"

"Well, you know Pipes. She isn't like her mother in very many ways, but they share a temper." He flinched

"Yeah. I didn't know her that well, but she would always be screeching about one thing or another."
