King Bauduin: Neal down.

-Everyone does so and then the main reason for the call begins-

King Bauduin: You have done well Carter, Elizabeth. You have saved many in battles that would seem like it would be impossible to survive and so I thank you for that for I do so value the lives of the people of Neo- Britain, for without their support there would be no kingdom.

Carter: You are too kind my Lord.

King Bauduin: Posh! I am giving credit where it is due, for without you we would have had thousands of casualties without your leadership. And so it brings me to present you a mission only you two can do. Raise your heads.

-Liz and Carter look up and the King has a mission plan, to destroy the production of enemy mobile suits at night without being spotted, easier said than done but fully doable, the only handicap is that Carter cannot use the Alvarion Cannon for they would like to capture the facility and steal the materials inside in a later raid-

Carter: My Lord I...

King Bauduin: What is it? Do I have something on my hand?

Carter: No it's just that that seems like a stretch but I know we can handle it.

King Bauduin: Good, now go and prepare for it as it is in your hands now. See that it is done.

-Carter and Liz leave the room after bowing and they head straight back to the garrison head quarters-

Carter: I many need Elsa so we can handle this...

Liz: Are you sure? She may get shot down!

Carter: Not if we can destroy this airstrip and those hangars first. I'll leave those to you since the Railguns you have got a velocity upgrade.

-During that span of time, Sayla came up with a way of amping the voltage in the railguns so that they have a higher velocity and hit much harder as well as tuned the fuses on the shots to the velocity of the railgun. Carter had no upgrades done besides the charging port for the beam lance and even then it had more room for upgrades it just didn't need them-

Carter: I'll destroy the active mobile suits by drawing them to me and jamming their communications. Once that has happened we destroy the plants power facilities and leave the rest to be scavenged through by our soldiers.

Liz: Let's get to it then.

-They rest until 21:30 and Elsa, Liz and Carter get up and they are discretely deployed and Elsa gets up high and provides jamming support from a long distance so she cannot be detected, they arrive at the enemy base in 1 hour and they land-

Carter: Liz, did you find a perfect sniping position?

Liz: I did, preparing to fire, begin attack on my mark. Firing.

-As soon as she said that, Elsa jammed enemy radars and Carter who put a cloak around his mobile suit to keep it from being seen puts himself in visual range for enemy patrols in which he downs all of them, they were all flights of Flag Fighter units consisting of 4 per wing and once the mobile suits in the hangars are dealt with as well as the runway Carter flies in and destroys the assembly line mobile suits and the power facilities on site, it was almost too easy-

Carter: Return to base, mission complete...

-They begin their flight back and just as expected they come under attack, a mobile suit flies by them, it is only then that Carter realizes it's a Delta Plus, and it's painted yellow, it has two ReZEL Mk.2 units which by comparison has an in atmosphere flying ability due to the added folding wings-

Carter: I knew he would show up, keep going once we are inside the defensive line we should be able to shake them off. Keep moving!

-They push the throttle down in which the defensive line fires its CIWS at the fighters and they veer off to return back to their base-

Carter: We got away, let's get back home yeah?

Liz: Yeah...

Elsa: I'm surprised that base raid went as well as it did, perhaps it went too well...

-They return to base and land as well as store their mobile suits and head back to their dorms-

Carter: Damn I wanted to take him down but they would leave them exposed...

-The EWACS Brave has jamming and weapons but its maneuverability is much lower than a standard Brave unit and Liz's unit can't do much against something that is a complete equivalent to a fighter-

Carter: Forget about it...

-Carter goes to sleep and he wakes up the next morning and gets up, and he as well as Liz is summoned to the Royal Chambers-

King Bauduin: Welcome back, now...how did your little expedition go?

Carter: It was a little to easy my lord but we remained undetected by the base but that enemy ace I mentioned did notice us and he attacked but we did evade them and escape. We kept the cloaks on so they don't know who it was that attacked. They saw no emblems, sigils or callsigns, so they will probably just blame it on a extremist attack.

King Bauduin: Probably but we did receive word that you allowed yourself to be see to take down enemy patrols.

Carter: I did, in this case so Liz would remain undetected I dealt with enemy patrols and she took down the enemy garrison and their mobile suits before they could get at us, we also destroyed their landing strip so they won't be receiving materials very quickly.

King Bauduin: Good, you have done a service for us.

-King Bauduin draws his rapier and this makes Carter nervous and King Bauduin rests the rapier on his shoulder-

King Bauduin: I pronounce you a knight of Neo-Britain, the knights of darkness, the knights who strike like raiders in the night and disappear just as fast I pronounce you both Knight Carter and Knight Elizabeth. Do you accept?

-There is muttering around the crowd and Liz was one of the few women to become a knight by the kings decree-

Carter and Liz: We accept your kindness my lord.

King Bauduin: Then go! Show our pride for more than king and country!

-They rise and head back to the Hangar, congrats go all around and the soldiers morale was high and they wanted to fight-

Carter: I know we are all up for it, and that you all want to fight but not today guys hitting that zone made them pissed, we don't want to coerce them into a counter attack if they came down with their full force they will wipe us out.

Soldier: But we have a chance to finish it!

Carter: Yes but we must also include the possibility of them setting a trap for us. I can't risk that on all of your lives, your lives are our responsibility and I'm not going to attack out of the sake of vanity.

Elsa: He's right, even with speed and numbers they have shown that just one of theirs can be equivalent to 10 of our own so let's cool it.

-The soldiers calm down then two familiar faces shows themselves-

Frank: Yo, we are back anything change while we were gone?

Jerome: I hope nothing too important.

Soldiers: Its the Vikings they have returned!

-They swarm to them and the air changes-

Carter: So those are the Vikings, Frank and Jerome...so they came back here after the war...

-Carter haves a little laugh about it then goes into the command room-

Carter: Elsa, ping all the borders.

-There is a missing ping and Carter looks in that direction and sees two squadrons approaching the wall-

Carter: Liz with me, snipe them from the wall in turret form.

Liz: Roger.

-The alarm goes off and CIWS start firing to intercept the enemies but have no effect, Carter and Liz sortie and Carter is out in front and pulls out his lance-

Carter: Let's do this.

-Carter charges the enemy squadrons and they transform into their mobile suit form and one fires his beam sniper rifle to cut Carter's suit in half, he blocks it with a GN particle shield and he slices the first two in half and moves on with speed precision, Liz fires two rounds and knocks out a mobile suit out of the 10 remaining, with 9 left the other teams sortie their Braves and attempt to catch up to Carter but by the time they do there is only 2 left and he finishes them while they are retreating with the Alvarion Beam Cannon and disintegrates the enemy mobile suits-

Jerome: You left none for us?

Carter: Nah...too slow, I can handle this at much higher speeds, you would have been more help if you started sniping them from where Liz was.

Frank: I didn't even have time you both move too fast.

Carter: Perhaps but we need speed to keep them from infiltrating.

-Carter returned to the base and waited in his mobile suit until Liz got up on the elevator and into the mobile suit with Carter-

Liz: What was that?

Carter: What?

Liz: What's with that superiority complex.

Carter: Speed is key in a defensive operation. The difference is that their custom mobile suits are just not fast enough.

Corvus: In all honesty a GN drive is much more efficient and more superior to a Minovsky Particle Generator.

-They move on from it after having a long debate and they forget about it-

Riker: All garrison troops, gather around we have a plan for the final campaign to end this war and in a manner that does not require a weapon of mass destruction. Expect mobilization in at minimum 10 days. Dismissed.

-Carter goes back to the hangar to do maintenance and modify his mobile suit, and he looks at the power usage of his lance, and he realizes he could make a full armor version. That's what he decided to make, the full armor variant had variating binder arm shields which carried extra weapons, in this case it carried his beam rifle and his 100mm machine gun, he puts a shield on the mobile suits left arm and the beam sabers are stored on the inside of the shield and the beam lance on his back, the Alvarion Beam Cannon was redone and the weapon now used much less energy and the beam rifle would now charge based on the GN particle Generator and same goes for the rest of the beam weaponry, the physical sword he found a way to store it on his mobile suits hip and he kept it in handy in the case of a mobile suit being immune to beams. Carter was prepared to fight as hard as he needed to in order to protect himself and his friends. And he stood by that as it helped him fight it made him stronger to fight for what he believed...but he didn't know what would lie ahead of him-
