Remy had found what he had been looking for, although, he hadn't quite been expecting this.

Before him was a small jet that had landed on a dry patch in the middle of the swamp. He'd been waiting it out for a while, waiting for the person he could tell was inside the jet to emerge. It had been a risk returning to the Ripper's swamps after last night, but he wasn't scared of getting caught. He'd slipped right past their defences that were still stationed along the enterence of the swamp and missed being spotted by every Ripper who were still searching for himself and Rogue in the swamps. He was quite surprised that they hadn't found what he had, but, then again, Rogue hadn't been pointing them in this direction. After last night, he'd made a mental note that he wanted to search the area Rogue had pointed out to him. He wanted to see if their were any clues as to how she had just popped up in New Orleans and he'd found a rather large one in the form of a metal flying can.

A figure emerged from the swamp close to him, huffing and moaning about the state of things.

"That's the eighth time I've searched the streets and not a peep of her!" Mystique complained as she approached the jet.

A woman with short black hair emerge from the jet to meet the blue mutant.

"Have you found anything at all that would tell us where she'd be Blindspot?" Mystique asked the woman.

Blindspot let out a huff, obviously irritated by the blue mutant.

"No and I've told you, relying on me to find her isn't a good idea. I accidently took too many memories when she started struggling. Even if I could pick up an idea about where it is she might go or who she might turn to, I might take it from a moment in her life that she isn't even thinking of," Blindspot said. "Which is stupid in itself!" she went on. "She doesn't have any of her memories! Trying to find her through her memories isn't going to work when she doesn't have any. The best thing you can do is stop complaining and just keep looking. Think! If you were in her position, what would you do?"

"Don't tell me how to think!" Mystique warned the woman.

"Careful," Blindspot warned, meeting Mystique's glare head on. "Or I might just put you in that exact situation."

Remy was sighing inwardly to himself as he listened to the women bicker. Of course Mystique was involved in Rogue showing up in New Orleans and being without her memories. Though, he still had questions as to what the X-Men were actually doing letting Mystique get away with Rogue. Then again, he manage to kidnap her with little to no problems.

Remy accidentally made the wrong move and stepped on a branch.

"Who's there?" Mystique demanded to know.

Rather than hide and be found, Remy emerged from behind the tree.

"Bonjour," he said, holding his resting smirk. "What brings y' two ladies t' moi neck'a the woods?"

Mystique's eyes narrowed on Remy and she began to approach him.

"Drop the act! I know you were listening. You know where she is, don't you? Tell me! Where is my daughter?" Mystique demanded to know.

"Hmmm, can y' really still call her that when she an' y' son shunned y' completely?" Remy asked, being unable to mock her. "As far as I'm aware, she still be back in Bayville. 'though, I'm guessin' not anymore. What've y' cooked up for de fille dis time?" Remy asked, folding his arms.

He knew asking Mystique outright what her plans for Rogue were was a long shot, but he was trying to convay a certain composure.

"You know where she is low life," Mystique said, not falling one bit for Remy's act. "So help me. If you don't bring her to me, I'll make you live to regret it."

"Y' be forgettin' dis be mon terriroty," Remy said, pulling the cards he'd grabbed from out of his coat pocket and throwing them in a line in front of him.

He'd charged them enough so that a few large explosions would go off in front of Mystique. He made a break for it, running through the swamps. When he glanced back, he did notice his plan to set the trees surround the jet on fire had worked. He only hoped it was enough to keep them grounded for a little while so he could come up with some form of plan on what to do with the pair.

Since he was in the Ripper's territory, he hoped they would keep Mystique and the other one, Blindspot, grounded as well. All he had to do was make sure he got out of their territory before he was found which shouldn't have been a problem now he was more familiar with the area. He did wonder if he had done the right thing alerting the Ripper's to Mystique's presense. He was sure Mystique could handle herself, but from the sounds of it, that other one, Blindspot, had taken Rogue's memories and she was the key to getting them back. If he ever did want to return Rogue's memories to her, then keeping her alive was crucial. He just hoped the two ladies would be able to fend off the Ripper's until he could put a plan in action.
