You know the drill already. I don't own The Smurfs or Smurfs: The Lost Village since they belong to Peyo and Sony Animations. Aria Smurf is my O.C., while SmurfAggie belongs to I.M. Rally. I also do not own the song and the lyrics that I use today as well. Now, let's get the tide rolling and start writing!

A feeling of love and friendship was in the air in Smurf Village, but today is not Valentine's Day. It's a different holiday: Hearts and Hugs Day, a holiday that usually the female smurfs celebrated back in Smurfy Grove. It is similar to Valentine's Day, but this holiday has a broader perspective on everyone instead of a singular focus of having one special valentine. Plus, it's based more on appreciation for each other's friendship and company than just only love and affection. Still, it's a memorable holiday with gifts, cards, and lots and lots of hugs shared by everyone for everyone! And tonight, there was going to be a special Hearts and Hugs Day dance with music, dancing, and a lot of fun. As we turn our focus back on the village, all of the smurfs were decorating the village with red and pink streamers, bright-colored hearts on every door, and fancy tablecloths placed on the picnic tables. Chef and Baker were at work making the feast for tonight's dance while keeping an eye on Greedy, who kept trying to sneak a bite from their creations. The village band was tuning up and practicing the songs they'd be playing tonight, with Smurfmelody as the conductor. Meanwhile, everyone else was either helping to decorate the village or trying to work up their confidence levels so they could ask someone to the dance as their "dates."

Smurfwillow and Papa Smurf walked around, making sure everyone was doing their job to help make this a great dance. As they kept moving, Papa complimented willow by saying, "I must say you and your smurfs have a marvelous holiday. I've never seen everyone so happy and excited before." Smurfwillow blushed slightly while saying, "Well, Papa Thing, Hearts and Hugs Day is a special holiday for many reasons, but the main one is that it allows everyone to fully understand and appreciate our friendship and company with one another. It helps bring them closer as friends, and sometimes, as budding young lovers." Suddenly, Jokey jumped out at them, saying, "Happy Hearts and Hugs Day! I got you both a special surprise in honor of the occasion"! He gave both leaders each a nicely wrapped box as they hesitantly opened them, anticipating an explosion or prank of some sort. Willow ended up getting beautiful flowers, and Papa got a sparkly bow tie that he could wear tonight at the dance. They were in awe as they thanked Jokey for the gifts while the prankster smurf hugged them, saying, "You're welcome"! He then went to bring another smurf a present as Smurfwillow noticed the bow tie and said, "Looks like you're going to be one well-dressed smurf, huh Papa"? Papa Smurf blushed as red as his clothes as she nervously replied, "I guess so," as they continued their inspection.

Meanwhile, SmurfAggie was looking over a special letter she got via portal mail as she was smiling and blushing heavily. She had a lovestruck look in her eyes but only snapped out of it when Smurfblossom came to her, saying, "Hiya, Aggie! Happy Hearts and Hugs Day," and enveloped her in an almost bone-crushing hug. Aggie smiled and said while being squeezed, "Happy Hearts and Hugs Day, Smurfblossom," before being let loose and getting a chance to breathe. Smurfblossom noticed the letter as she asked, "What's that? Did a smurf send that to you"? Aggie showed her the love letter, saying, "A close friend from another world sent it to me. He sure knows how to make a smurf blush," as Smurfblossom gawked over how cute it was that SmurfAggie had a boyfriend from another dimension. SmurfAggie then reached into her pocket while saying, "I almost forgot. I made you a card, Smurfblossom. Here. Happy Hearts and Hugs Day," while giving her friend a closed envelope. Smurfblossom opened it and took out the pink and glittery handmade card and read it, saying once she was finished, "Aw, Aggie! That's so sweet! Thank you,"! Aggie hugged Smurfblossom while saying, "You're most welcome, Smurfblossom." At that moment, Aria swung by, saying, "Happy Hearts and Hugs Day, girls"! She hugged them both one by one as SmurfAggie replied happily, "Happy Hearts and Hugs Day, Aria," with Smurfblossom saying the same thing.

Aria then presented her friends with two small boxes while saying, "I made you both something as a token of appreciation of our friendship." Both girls received their packages and opened them instantly before gawking at how cute their gifts were. They both got well-made ceramic sculptures of themselves, and they were in great, concise details. SmurfAggie loved her sculpture the most as she said, "It's beautiful, Ari! You even got the tiny lines on my wings in the perfect design! You must've spent a lot of time on these." Ariablushed and said, "I spent three weeks working on my presents for everyone because I wanted them to be perfect for you." Smurfblossom said with sincerity, "Well, we love them, Aria! Thank you so much"! They both hugged Aria as she said happily, "You're welcome. So, have you guys gotten anything else yet"? Smurfblossom said, "You bet! Aggie made me this beautiful card, and she got a love letter from her boyfriend from another dimension." SmurfAggie blushed at those words as Aria said, "Aw! That's so sweet! Hey, I know! You should invite your boyfriend to come to the dance tonight! I'm sure Red would love to spend time with his beautiful lady friend. Plus, it'll give us the chance to meet him finally." SmurfAggie scratched the back of her head while saying, "I'd love to, but he's busy, I'm afraid. However, he does end his love and says that we'll soon get to go on a date." Smurfblossom and Aria awed at the sound of their magical friend on a date with someone she loves as Aria said, "He sounds like a terrific man. But Aggie, if Red can't make it, who are you going to ask to the dance"?

SmurfAggie thought for a minute before saying, "I don't know yet. Do you both have someone in mind"? Smurfblossom nodded and said with a blush, "I'm thinking of asking Brainy. He's pretty nice once you get to know him and look past half of the things he says that no one understands." Aria and SmurfAggie did their best to stifle their laughter as Aria replied while looking over her shoulder, "I have someone in mind I want to ask." Both SmurfAggie and Smurfblossom turned to see what she was looking at before smiling in awe. Aria looked at Smurfette, who gave Smurfclover and Smurfhazel her cards as they hugged her in appreciation. Aria blushed and said, "Tonight might be the night things settle and set in the universe...of love." SmurfAggie placed a hand on her shoulder while saying, "Go for it. You love her. She loves you. You're both a perfect match." Smurfblossom then asked, "Aggie's right, but what about Hefty"? When Aria asked, "What about Hefty," SmurfAggie replied, "Smurfblossom's right. You might have some competition because he likes Smurfette too. I hope this doesn't start building any resentment between the two of you." Aria thought for a minute before saying, "I'm not worried. Hefty and I are great friends, and I'm sure that nothing, like a girl, could ever break our friendship like that." SmurfAggie became worried as she responded with, "I'd be careful with saying that. I've known people who said the same thing and now hate each other because of a man/woman they liked." Aria winced as she said, "I'm not going to let that happen to us. I'll make sure of it."

With that, Aria went to speak with Hefty, who was giving his cards to the smurflings, who hugged and thanked him. She went up to the strong smurf and asked, "Hefty, can we have a private smurf to smurf for a minute"? He nodded as they went to a secluded corner to chat. Once they were there, he asked, "So, what's up, Aria? Everything ok,"? Aria took a deep breath before asking, "Hefty, are we...cool...personally"? He thought for a minute before answering, "Well, I think so, at least, that's what I believe. We're pretty cool around here being strong smurfs and all." Aria sighed before saying, "Not that being cool. I meant cool as in with...our friendship. Like, we wouldn't let anything, or anyone, make us hate each other for no good reason." Hefty thought for a minute before saying, "Of course, Aria. What makes you ask that,"? Aria didn't know if she wanted to tell him but knew that she had to be honest if she wanted answers. With that, she slowly asked him, "Let me ask you this, then. Were you planning on asking anyone in particular to the dance tonight"? Hefty seemed to catch her drift as he said with a sincere smile, "I was, but it's not Smurfette," as his response made her jaw drop. Hefty clarified by saying, "I know how much you like her, and I had a feeling that you'd want to ask her to the dance tonight. I mean, I'll be honest with you, I like her too, but for me, the feeling's more as a friend rather than as a lover. So, I decided to ask Smurflily, and hopefully, she'll say yes. Don't worry, Aria. Nothing, not even a girl, could ever break our friendship. Just promise me one thing." Aria anticipated what he would say as Hefty said, "When you ask Smurfette, and if she says yes, make sure you give her the night of her life." Aria nodded and said, "I promise, and thanks, Hefty," as they both hugged one another and went to find someone in particular.

Aria stopped by her house and grabbed three things: a red rose in a plant pot, a heart-shaped box of chocolate truffles, and a nicely wrapped present. She then went over to Smurfette's house and knocked on the door before hiding the gifts behind her back. Smurfette opened the door and said with a smile and a small blush, 'Oh, hi, Aria! Happy Hearts and Hugs Day"! Aria blushed and replied with, "Happy Hearts and Hugs Day, Smurfette. I...got you a couple of gifts," as she displayed them to her. Smurfette was surprised and speechless as she picked up the plant pot, saying, "Oh Aria...I...I love roses." Then, she picked up the chocolate box and opened it, asking, "Are these truffles," Aria nodded, her blush becoming deeper while saying, "Baker helped me make them. I know how much you love truffles, so I thought you'd like some." Then, after putting the first two gifts down, Smurfette grabbed the box and opened it, picking up what looked like a small wooden box that had her name inscribed and a small key on the side. When she slowly winded up the key and opened the box, it revealed a tiny figurine of her spinning as a beautiful melody played. Smurfette blushed a deep shade of crimson as she smiled and said with utmost sincerity, "Oh...I've always wanted a music box. Thank you, Aria," as she hugged Aria, who was happy beyond belief, and hugged her back. Once they separated, Aria then grabbed Smurfette by the hand and said, "There's one more thing. Smurfette...will you...be my plus one and go to the dance tonight with me"? Smurfette gasped in shock and used her free hand to cover her mouth as Aria anticipated her answer.

This sudden "proposal" caught some of the other smurfs' attention, who watched and waited for what would happen next. Among the group was Smurfstorm and Smurflily, who were nervous for Aria, the smurflings, who did not understand what was going on, Clumsy, who wanted to ask Smurfstorm to be his date to the dance, and Brainy, who watched in utter disbelief and disgust. After a temporary silence, Smurfette smiled and answered, "Yes, absolsmurfly! Yes," as Aria hugged her tightly and swung her around while shouting excitedly, "She said yes! She said yes, "! Everyone cheered for Aria and Smurfette, except Brainy, who huffed and slowly started to walk away. Smurflily said with happy tears flowing, "Isn't this a beautiful moment, Stormy," as Smurfstorm tried to rid her eyes from the tears while saying, "I think I got something in my eye." After Aria placed Smurfette back down, she asked, "So, I'll pick you up at 7," with Smurfette nodding and saying, "Sure thing. I'll see you there, Ari," before closing the door in front of her. The lovestruck smurf smiled and cheered loudly as she skipped down the path towards her house and went inside. Once the door closed, she instantly began to panic as she said, "Ah! What am I going to do?! What am I gonna wear," before going through her closet and sorting through all the available clothes she had. Fireball peaked its head in through the window and found its owner throwing clothes onto the bed in a panicked state, with a hat landing on its head. The door knocked as Aria shouted, "Come in," as Smurfstorm and Smurflily walked inside, finding assorted forms of clothing flying, Aria in a frantic state while sorting through her clothes, and Fireball wearing a smurf hat.

Aria came out of the closet while holding an old dress while saying to her siblings, "Oh, good! It's you two! Please help me! I need to find the right outfit for tonight, and I've got nothing to wear"! Smurfstorm instantly grabbed her little sister's arms and said, "Easy, calm down. First off, breathe. Ok"? Together, Aria, Smurflily, and Smurfstorm took deep breaths in and out in unison. Once Aria seemed to have calmed down, Smurfstorm continued, saying, "Good. Now relax. You've got time. We'll help you find something." Aria retorted back, hesitantly, "How?! Everything I have is either causal or for action. I don't wear heels, and I don't even have jewelry. Plus, I've never gone on a date before. What do I say?! What do I do?! How do I act?! Do I have to be like those weird high society people who stick their pinkies out when they drink tea"?! Smurflily interrupted her by saying, "Relax, sis. It's only a dance. It's not like you're getting married. I'm sure Smurfette will want you to act like yourself." Aria walked over towards a mirror while holding a pair of jeans while saying, "Yeah, but myself is not enough. I really want to make a good impression. This opportunity could be the chance we've been looking for to see if we're ready to..go the next step." Smurfstorm walked towards Aria while saying, "I get that this is a big moment for you, but there's no need to run around like you're a headless chicken. You got this. But if you want, we'll give you a hand in preparing for tonight. Plus, don't worry about clothing." Smurflily then placed her backpack on the bed and pulled out a sparkly red dress while saying, "We've got it covered."

Meanwhile, Smurfette talked about what had happened with Clumsy, Hefty, and a couple of other smurfs, who were excited and happy for her. However, Brainy was not happy about this at all, muttering, "Complete blasphemy is what it is." Smurfblossom came up to him, saying, "hiya, Brainy! Happy Hearts and Hugs Day! Wanna be my date for the dance tonight"? Brainy was about to say no but did not want to break her heart, so he sighed in frustration as he said, "Why sure, Smurfblossom. I'd be happy to be your acquaintance to tonight's formal dance." Smurfblossom was excited as she hugged Brainy tightly before saying, "Thank you," and rushing off to get ready. Back at Aria's place, she was modeling the dress Smurflily gave her in the mirror and loved it. It was a red, sparkly dress, with diamond sequins on the bottom, and decorated with pink hearts. The short sleeves of the dress were crimson and shimmered with gold swirls. She took her hat over and let her braid go over her right shoulder (Similar to Elsa's from the first Frozen film). At the moment, Aria was also trying on a pair of white heels and was struggling to walk, with Smurfstorm having to catch her every time. Aria said with a hint of frustration, "I can barely walk in these. how am I supposed to dance"? To her luck, SmurfAggie opened the door and was walking in, saying, 'I heard the news! You asked Smurfette to the da-," before stopping and gawking over Aria's formal dress. She said, "Oh my smurf! You look so beautiful! Smurfette's going to fall head over heels for you"!

Aria winced in pain as she said, "Or I might fall from wearing these heels. Do I have to? Aren't there other formal shoes I could wear that are not as irritating"? Smurflily responded with, "Well, heels are the nicest form of footwear, and you do want to look nice for Smurfette, right"? Aria sighed and said, "Yeah, but at the expense of my feet, which I think are turning bluer in these irritating heels. Plus, I can barely walk a mile without falling." SmurfAggie looked at the heels as she said, "Maybe there's a way we can fix that." With a snap of her fingers, Aria's heels were replaced by fancy crimson flats with golden swirls decorating them, similar to the sleeves of her dress. Aria looked at them in the mirror, saying with a smile, "I love them1 now these I can work this." Smurfstorm gave a thumbs up in approval, saying, "You look formal, kiddo. I think blondie's going to love your outfit." Aria then turned to face Aggie and asked, "Hey Aggie, you think you can stick around and help me brush up on my manners? since you've been on a date before, you probably know things that I can learn from." SmurfAggie nodded while saying, "Of course. I'd be happy to teach you about going on a date." Once Aria got changed and had her outfit set for tonight, SmurfAggie took the trio to her place to help Aria learn about the aspects of going on a date. She set up a table and placed a teapot full of tea, some test cups, and a tall tray full of variable sweets and treats.

As they all sat down in each chair, Smurfstorm asked in confusion, "How is a tea party going to teach Aria about going on a date"? SmurfAggie quickly zoomed by them and replaced the normal hats with fancy ones while having them wear silk gloves as well. Then, she sat down and answered, "Well, usually, dates tend to happen at extravagant or fancy places such as a restaurant or formal dinner. Other times, they can take place in normal, subtle surroundings, but I want to give Aria a broad experience of high society if she wants to impress Smurfette during the date." Smurflily then asked, "It seems reasonable, but what's with the hats and gloves"? SmurfAggie snickered and answered, "Because they look great on you guys. Plus, I like to have some fancy fun." Aria felt uncomfortable with the gloves but brushed it aside as she said, "Well, if this will help me brush up on my manners, then I'm willing to give it a try." SmurfAggie then said with a smile, "Good. Now, what do you know so far, so we have something to work on"? Aria thought for a minute before saying, "Well, I know to always say please and thank you, to say excuse me if I release any form of gas, though I do try to avoid that. What else? Oh, yeah! I know to always pull the chair out for a guest and push it in for them, to place a napkin on my lap when eating at the table, and to not act rowdy while eating." SmurfAggie smiled, saying, "Good. So you have a basic knowledge. Now, let's try different scenarios and see how you respond to them."

SmurfAggie then used her magic to lift the teapot and pour some tea into each of their teacups. She then asked, "Now, how are you generally supposed to drink tea when in a teacup"? Aria picked hers up and said, "With your pinkie out," while extending her pinkie to demonstrate. SmurfAggie nodded and responded with, "Correct, and we don't drink it like water or juice. We take small sips and don't slurp. I'm looking at you, Stormy," while shooting a playful glare at Smurfstorm, who shrugged and said, 'That's fair." With that, everyone picked up their teacups, and all took turns, taking small, quiet sips of their tea. Aria felt a bit uncomfortable doing this, but if this helped her impress Smurfette, she would have to tough it out. Then, Smurfstorm accidentally did a pretty loud slurp, leaving Aria to stifle her laughter and Smurflily to break into laughter. SmurfAggie facepalmed and responded with, "Another tip, we don't laugh at each other's mistakes or flaws. That's an example of bad manners." Aria and Smurflily apologized as Smurfstorm smiled, saying, "It's cool." Earning a strange look from SmurfAggie, Smurfstorm decided to try again as she then said, this time in a perfect British accent, "All is forgiven, old chaps," before covering her mouth in shock. Everyone was surprised as SmurfAggie commented, "Stormy, I didn't know you could speak so...elegantly." Smurfstorm touched her throat while saying, 'I didn't know either. I guess...when I tried to apologize while acting politely...it came out like that."

Aria was impressed, saying, "You should test that accent out a lot more. I'm sure Clumsy will enjoy it." Smurfstorm blushed in embarrassment as she responded with, "Maybe I will.' For the rest of the morning and most of the afternoon, Aggie taught her friends all about having elegant manners and how to imply them during a date, including striking a conversation, proper dining skills, how to subtlety compliment someone, and even social engagement. Aria felt really uncomfortable throughout the experience, but at least she was able to gain some experience for her date tonight. Finally, they retreated to Aria's house again, so Aggie could help teach Aria one more lesson: slow dancing. Hearing it first, Aria said, "Finally, something fun! But I know how to dance already. How do I do it slowly"? Smurflily and Smurfstorm snickered as SmurfAggie responded with, "Slow dancing, also called ballroom dancing, is a type of dance, but is not taken that literally. They're slow, graceful dances usually done with a partner, such as a waltz. Smurfstorm will be partner, and I'll help you both keep a steady beat." She pulled out a boombox and began to play classical music as Aria and Smurfstorm grabbed each other's hands, awaiting their instructors. SmurfAggie came to the group and readjusted their position, pushing them to be a little closer, bringing their right (Aria)/left (Smurfstorm) arms up, and placing their other arms around each others' waists, as if they were in a hug. Then, she said, "Now, pretend that you're walking in a circle, but bringing each other with you. Let the music guide your bodies to glide you across the room. One, two, three. One, two, three." Following her instructions, Smurfstorm and Aria waltzed across the living room, following the music's beat. While doing so, Smurfstorm commented, "I'm not comfortable with this at all," with Aria adding, "It's different. Nice, but different. I don't know if I like it or don't like it."

As they kept dancing, Aria imagined herself at the dance, doing the waltz elegantly with Smurfette, under a bright spotlight, with everyone watching. She spun Smurfette, they waltzed across the dancefloor, caught one another after simultaneous turns, and at the end of the song, Aria tilted Smurfette as if she was a bride that she rescued from the hands of Gargamel. Once she snapped back into reality, she looked up and saw Smurflily applauding happily and SmurfAggie wiping happy tears from her eyes, saying, "So beautiful...you're ready, Aria." Aria looked back at Smurfstorm, who was still in the tilted bride position, as she asked, "Nice work, but do you mind pulling me back up, kid"? Aria pulled Smurfstorm back up while saying, "Guess I got caught up in the moment. You guys think I'm ready"? They all nodded in unison as Aria took a deep breath in and out, saying, "Then, I've got a date to get ready for."

Later on, as night began to overtake the sky, Aria, dressed up and all, was on her way to Smurfette's house. She kept track of the time, and at 6:59 pm, she knocked on the door and waited for her date to come down. When 7 pm struck on the clock, Smurfette opened the door, saying, "Here I am," before noticing Aria all dressed up. She blushed, commenting, "Wow, you look beautiful." Aria was blushing as well, only able to say, "Yeah...you are beautiful too," and she wasn't wrong. Smurfette was gorgeous! She was wearing a silver, sparkly, sleeveless dress with a light blue fancy cardigan over it. She also had matching heels, as well as a silver headband to match. She also had her blonde hair up in a tight-knit bun and had a diamond bracelet on her left wrist. Aria then slowly returned to her senses as she smiled and offered her arm, saying, "Shall we, m'lady," with Smurfette accepting it, saying, "Yes, we shall.' With that, they both began to walk to the center of town, where the dance was in full swing. Some of the couples were dancing by the stage where the band was playing. Others were serving themselves at the feast table and sitting down to eat. Others were also hanging out by the edge, chatting with one another. Aria smiled and asked Smurfette, "Shall we get something to eat before we take the dance floor"? Smurfette nodded as they went to get some food.

Upon serving themselves, they went towards an empty table to sit. Before Smurfette could sit, Aria pulled a chair out for her, saying, "Allow me," and let Smurfette sit down before pushing her in. Smurfette was surprised to see Aria acting so...formal. Once Aria sat down, they both placed their napkins onto their laps as one smurf dressed up as a waiter came to them, saying, "Good evening, ladies. Can I get you anything to drink"? Aria said, "Two special glass of sparkling smurfberry juice, but minimal fizz," as he wrote it down and went to get their drinks. Smurfette chuckled, someone's feeling fancy tonight," as Aria said with a blush, "Well, it's a fancy party, so it's only normal to indulge in a drink fit for a queen. Plus, I know that sparking smurfberry juice is your favorite drink, but you prefer minimal fizz because regular is too fizzy for your tastebuds." The waiter soon came, carrying two champagne glasses with their drinks as he placed one glass in front of each smurf. Aria lifted hers, saying, "A toast to Hearts and Hugs Day, and a hopefully successful evening." Smurfette did the same as their glasses clinked before they each took a sip. Smurfette hen said while beginning to cut up her food, "This is nice. Everyone did a stellar job with setting up the decorations for the dance." Aria looked around before saying, "Yes, The colors are as bright as the stars in the sky, but you are the brightest star here tonight," making Smurfette stifle her laughter but blush a deep shade of red.

As they started to eat, Aria looked over at a separate table, where SmurfAggie noticed her and gave her friend a thumbs-up, with Aria responding with a thumbs-up of her own. Throughout the meal, Smurfette and Aria struck up a conversation talking about village life, fun memories, and even sharing funny stories and jokes. Once they were finished, they put their plates on top of the dish table as the band started to play a slow song. Aria knew that now was the moment as she offered her hand out, asking, "Smurfette, may I have this dance"? Smurfette smiled and placed her hand into Aria's, saying, "Sure, let's dance," as they took to the dance floor and began to waltz. Smurfette was a little confused at first, but Aria helped show Smurfette what to do as soon, they were waltzing with the greatest ease. Their stellar dancing caught the eyes of the other smurfs as they grabbed their dates and began to mimic their movements. Even Smurfwillow and Papa Smurf were doing the waltz as well, which everyone was beginning to enjoy. As they kept dancing, Smurfette complimented Aria, saying, "Wow, I never knew you could dance so gracefully. I knew you were a great dancer, but I didn't think you can move like this." Aria blushed, replying, "Well, let's just say, I had a great teacher show me what to do. If you want, I can tell you the steps she taught me." As Aria said, a new song began to play as Smurfette responded with, "Don't say it. Let the music tell us what to do." At that moment, something came over the pair as they started to sing.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Can I Have This Dance by Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Effron~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Smurfette: Take my hand. Take a breath. Hold me close and take one step. Keep your eyes locked on mine and let the music be your guide.
Aria: Won't you promise (Smurfette: Now, won't you promise me) me (Smurfette: That we'll never forget). We'll keep dancing (Smurfette: To keep dancing)
Both: Wherever we go next. It's like catching lightning the chances of finding someone like you. It's one in a million the chances of feeling the way we do. And with every step together, we just keep on gettin' better.
Smurfette: So, can I have this (Aria: Can I have this dance) dance?
Both: Can I have this dance?
Aria: Take my hand. I'll take the lead. And every turn will be safe with me. To be afraid, afraid to fall. You know I'll catch you through it all. And you can't keep (Smurfette: Even a thousand miles can't keep us apart) up apart. 'Cause my heart (Smurfette: 'Cause my heart is) is
Both: Wherever you are. It's like catching lightning the chances of finding someone like you. It's one in a million the chances of feeling the way we do. And with every step together, we just keep on gettin' better.
Smurfette: So, can I have this (Aria: Can I have this dance) dance?
Both: Can I have this dance?
Oh, no mountain's too high and no ocean's too wide. "Cause together or not, our dance won't stop.
Smurfette: Let it rain
Aria: Let it pour
Both: What we have is worth fighting for. You know I believe that we were meant to be, yeah!
It's like catching lightning the chances of finding someone like (Smurfette: Oh, like you) you. It's one in a million the chances of feeling the way (Smurfette: Way we do) we do. And with every step together, we just keep on gettin' better.
Smurfette: So, can I have this (Aria: Can I have this dance) dance?
Both: Can I have this dance? Can I have this dance? Can I have this dance?
Everyone was applauding the happy couple for a beautiful performance as Aria and Smurfette blushed but had enough confidence to bow in front of them. Later on, the dance soon came to an end as many tired and happy smurfs started to head back to either their own house or their partner's house. Before leaving, Aria offered to walk Smurfette back to her place, which Smurfette happily accepted. As they walked, Aria then decided to pop the question, asking, "say, Smurfette, I've meant to ask you. Has...anything changed since we talked last time"? Smurfette was confused at first, saying, "What do you mean"? Aria clarified by saying, "I mean, has anything changed about...your feelings...since we last discussed about...us." Smurfette thought for a minute before saying, "Well, not really." Once they made it, Aria then decided to tell her, saying, "Smurfette, I was wondering...do you...want to start...taking the next step? We don't have to if you don't want to yet. We can go as fast or as slow as you want. We don't need to jump into anything if you're not comfortable with it yet." Smurfette thought very hard for a minute before saying with a smile, 'It's taken some time, but I think...I'm willing to give it a try. Aria...I'd be happy to be your partner and give dating one another a try." Aria was speechless and had to pinch herself to see if she was dreaming, but found that this was real and happening. She smiled and then asked, "So, how about a picnic tomorrow by the stream? 1 pm"? Smurfette then surprised her again by planting a kiss on Aria's cheek before saying with a blush, "I'll be there," as she went inside her house and closed the door.
Aria stood in disbelief and had a huge blush on her face when she placed her hand on the cheek that Smurfette kissed. She then began to walk home with a huge smile on her face. She ran into smurfAggie, who asked, "I take it your date with Smurfette went well"? She nodded and said, "It went so well. We're going on another one tomorrow. Plus, she and I have decided to try out...being a thing." SmurfAggie and Aria squealed in excitement as her magical friend said, "Oh my smurf! Congratulations"! Aria smiled brightly while saying, "Thanks. We're taking it slowly, but I'm sure that we can make it work. I've never been this happy before, and I promise to take great care of her." They said goodnight to one another and started to head to their houses to sleep. Aria noticed that Fireball was asleep in its little nest, which was odd because it normally stayed up till almost the struck of dawn. However, she didn't think about it too much as she entered her house and closed the door. Then, she quickly changed out of her outfit and prepared to turn in for the night. The last thing she remembered was something hitting the back of her head with brute force and knocking her to the ground. Then, she felt something prick her leg before blacking out and losing consciousness.
The next morning, Aria was late for breakfast as Papa and willow noticed this when her spot was empty. Smurflily noticed this too as smurfstorm volunteered to go check on her. she knocked on the door, shouting, "Ari! Are you coming? you're missing breakfast." When Aria didn't respond, she tried to open the door, only to find it locked, which made her concerned. Aria never locked her door unless for dire reasons. She then noticed that fireball was waking up but looked sick and drowsy. She went up to it and slowly petted it, noticing the sick look in its eyes. she asked the lavender dragonfly, "Fireball! What happened to you? Who did this"? Fireball tried to chirp something, but she could not understand Fireball since she didn't speak dragonfly. Now, Smurfsotrm was concerned more than ever as she then started to ram at Aria's door. After a couple of times, she was finally able to bust it open and walked into a horrific sight. Aria was on the floor, motionless, with cuts and scrapes all over her body, her nightgown torn, and seemed to be laying in almost a pool of blood. Smurfstorm let out a scream of horror that was heard by everyone else as she had to face on of her worst nightmares: Someone had attacked Aria.
