Deku becomes a Kishin from Soul Eater. The world goes mad.

This was supposed to be up Halloween, but FanFiction decided to have a breakdown.

Kishin Deku

"Ah!"

"I-I'm so sorry!"

Ochako winced, rubbing her bottom as she stood up. She'd been going about her business, returning back to her apartment after doing some grocery shopping, when she'd been bumped into by someone.

He was a plan looking guy, with messy green hair and freckles. His hands were flailing as he tried to explain himself, his face bright red. He looked so devastated, bless him.

"I-I'm fine, really," Ochako said, giving him an easy smile. "No need to apologise."

He rubbed the back of his head and looked down. He glanced up at her, head bowed submissively. "S-Still, I-I should have been looking where I was going."

"Well, I won't deny that," she said with a giggle. He was kinda cute, getting all nervous over a simple accident.

"L-Let me make it up to you," he said, bending down and grabbing one of her bags. He lifted it slightly. "H-How about I carry this for you?"

Hmm. That could be taken the wrong way, Ochako thought. She probably shouldn't let a guy she just met follow her home. But he seemed harmless enough. And he looked genuinely contrite at his error. She didn't hold it against him, but maybe she could use this chance to make a friend in this new city.

"Okay, if you insist!" She said, giving him a bright smile. His face reddened and he tried to hide it in his bangs, but they weren't quite long enough. "Follow me, then. And try not to bump into me this time, eh?" She giggled as he spluttered. She moved past him, and she heard him scramble to follow.

He seemed nice. Maybe she really had made a friend.

Ochako gasped, coughing up blood as she crawled along the floor. How did it all go so wrong? She'd invited him inside for a cup of tea and-

She coughed again, more blood staining her new carpet. She needed to reach the phone- her mobile was in her room, charging. The house phone will have to do.

But he wasn't going to let her. She tried to scream as a knife went through her hand, but he covered her mouth. His frail, weak looking hands gripping harder than anything she could have imagined.

"Sorry about this, Uraraka-san," he whispered into her ear. She whimpered, tears starting to roll down her eyes as she weakly struggled in his grasp. "But when I saw an innocent soul such as yours, I just knew I had to taste it. To devour it."

She screamed into his hand, trying to bite the palm, but he just squeezed tighter.

"Don't worry, Uraraka-san. You will live on...as part of me."

Her body went cold. Her screams came to an end as the biting chill shot through her. Her eyes shook as she watched him pull out a blue orb from her mouth. He let her head go, her temple slamming into the floor, but she felt nothing.

As her vision went dark, the last thing she saw was him swallowing her soul in one, big, gulp.

Izuku wiped his mouth, mopping up the drool. He always wished he could just chew souls, but then again there always was a satisfaction in swallowing them whole.

Looking down at the body, Izuku hummed. Usually it wasn't so easy to get them alone, but his nervous act is pretty good at making them drop their guard. He glanced around the apartment. It seemed like she lived alone, so it should take a while to discover the body. What luck.

Taking out a small notebook from his pocket, Izuku scratched down a line. A quick count came out to 99 marks. Amazing how far he'd come in a year.

Number one hundred had to be special. No random person in the street or unsuspecting, naive girl. Well, the unsuspecting part was nice. But no, for number one hundred only one sort of person would do.

Time to take a leaf out of Stain's book.

Izuku watched as Mount Lady shook her rear for the cameras. Her, maybe? Hmm, her soul wasn't pure but it also wasn't rotten. Something about eating souls like his own made his stomach turn. Like eating a rotten egg. No, pure, clean souls were where it's at. A real delicacy.

Mount Lady could be a good meal, but she was a bit too in the spotlight at the moment. She'd made an explosive debut, and her looks were already attracting her a fanbase. She knew how to shake her money maker. Quite literally.

Someone obscure could work. Izuku didn't get to number 99 by being obvious. A low tier hero should do nicely. Someone who, while they might be missed, won't be big enough to get a front page article.

It had to be a hero, though. He didn't know why, but he felt that part was vitally important.

Izuku was still thinking about it as he walked through an underpass. The sound of moving metal had him turn around, only to see a wall of sludge lunging at him.

"A medium sized invisibility suit! Nice!"

Izuku yelped as the slime wrapped around him, and started forcing its way down his throat. He gasped, grasping at the sludge.

"Sorry kid, but I need some help here! Can't let that guy catch me. You're my hero!"

Like hell he was going to go out like this. He still had to reach his glorious destiny! That lurking vision of perfection that drummed away at his subconscious.

...A villain will have to do.

The monster laughed as Izuku clutched at its face. "Try all you like, kid, but you can't grab something you can't touch!"

Izuku would have chuckled, if he could. He had plenty of practice touching the 'untouchable'. Flexing his fingers, he pulled.

The sludge stopped. Bulging eyes rolled about, trying to understand what was happening. It let go of its victim, squelching against the ground. The villain's eyes started to dim, watching with his final thoughts as the boy held a dark red orb in his hand.

Izuku sneered at the soul in his hand. It had been a moment of desperation, but looking at it now he knew it wouldn't serve his purpose. In fact, he had the feeling it would set him back.

"DON'T WORRY! I AM HERE!"

Izuku jumped as All Might flew out of a manhole! What the-

"NEVER FEAR CITIZE- Oh…" All Might looked awkward, which Izuku supposed was fair. The villain he was chasing was a puddle on the ground and a teenager stood over him, a red glowing ball in his hand. "Um...DID YOU USE YOUR QUIRK, KID?"

Izuku swallowed. He had to stay calm. Self defense was a perfectly valid reason for quirk use. "Y-Yes, sir," gotta sell the worry, "I-I used it in self-defence! H-He was suffocating me!"

"I SEE! WELL, NO NEED TO WORRY! I CAN'T FAULT YOU FOR ACTING IN SELF DEFENCE! AHAHA!" All Might took a step forward, holding out some soda bottles. "I'LL GATHER UP HIS BODY IN THESE...ERM, BUT BEFORE I DO, WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM, MY BOY?"

"E-Erm, I removed his soul...I can put it back, though!" He was quick to say when All Might's face turned ashen. He was lying, of course, but All Might didn't need to know that.

...Wait a moment. Izuku had a crazy idea. One too good to pass up.

Bending down, Izuku put the soul inside the sludge. Out of sight of All Might, Izuku crushed the soul in his palm. Pulling his hand out he wiped it off. He swayed in place.

"ARE YOU ALRIGHT, MY BOY?"

"Y-Yeah, i-it just makes me a bit d-dizzy, is...all…" Izuku started to fall sideways.

"WOAH THERE!" All Might practically materialised as he caught Izuku. "ARE YOU OKAY KID!?"

Izuku groaned. His hand reached out, fingers slipping against All Might's face. "A-All...Might…"

"WHAT'S THE MATTER KID?"

"I…" his hand went over All Might's mouth. "...I…" He pulled. "Thanks."

All Might's look of bafflement went rigid as he felt to the side. A poof of smoke covered the underpass, leaving a skeletal man lying on the floor.

Izuku blinked. "Okay, one, that was stupidly easy. Two, what?"

All Might tried to respond, but he was just so cold. His sunken eyes wavered at the sight of the large, yellow ball in the boy's hand, with two spikes on top, just like his hero form's hair.

"Oh well, it's definitely you, All Might. I've never seen a soul this powerful before," Izuku chuckled, a growing tinge of madness in his eyes. "Who'd have thought my day would turn out so incredible! Number 100, and it's the Number One Hero! Ahahaha!" He tilted his head back, mouth open wide. "Bottoms up!"

The last thing Yagi Toshinori saw was his soul sliding down the boy's throat.

Izuku crashed into the wall of the underpass, clutching at his chest.

W-What was happening!? Thi-This had never happened before!

All Might's soul...was it too much for him? No, that was absurd.

...No...No this was meant to happen. He just knew it.

He was changing.

He…

Was

Complete.

On that day in April, Mustufu was swept up in a surge of mayhem. Innocent people on the street turned into raving lunatics, attacking each other. Some broke down into tears. Some tore their families apart in rage. Others started looting stores, killing anyone who might take what they saw first.

Heroes weren't unaffected by it. Mount Lady ripped a bank right off the ground and ran through the city with a vault in hand, destroying countless other buildings in her wake. Backdraft started fires, Death Arms ripped crowds apart. Kamui Woods killed innocents and villains alike, calling each one of them enemies of peace and order.

The UA teachers were quick to try and bring the chaos to an end. But they too were sucked in. Eraserhead became slothful, unable to care as his students were torn apart. Present Mic deafened hundreds, screaming without words. Vlad King painted a street in his quirk's power source. Entire districts sucked into a black hole. Old people used as target practice.

And in the middle of it all stood a boy. No. What was once a boy. Whatever Midoriya Izuku was now, it couldn't be put into words. Some would try, but any who met him would soon be pulled into the madness.

As the screams and the shouts and the utter destruction sang out around him, Kishin Deku laughed.

Mustufu had gone mad. Soon the rest of Japan would follow, and then, the world.
