Gensokyo Star 2 - Under The Cherry Blossom - Marisa, Mario Bros, Daisy, Rosalina, Penny, Gloria, Travis
"This is the Netherworld?" Travis asked.
"Yup." Marisa nodded.
Travis sweatdropped. "I don't mean to be a downer, but uh… no one told me Hell would consist of a giant staircase. And I thought the Hakurei Shrine's staircase was huge."
"Eh, you get used to it." Marisa said.
"So… we're climbing these massive stairs or what?" Daisy asked.
"Who said anything about climbing?" Marisa grinned, hopping on her broom as the Bros brought out Cape Feathers, Rosalina floated up as Penny activated her thrusters while Daisy decided to hop on Marisa's broom, while Gloria pulled out her Bee Mushroom and absorbed it, as she strapped her lances to her hips and picked up Travis.
"Whoa, you sure you want to pick me up?"
"Would you rather walk?"
"…Fair point." Travis said as they flew over the stairs. "Dear lord, how many of this shit do we have to go through?"
"Just a little bit farther." Marisa said as they soon reached the top, where they would notice a beautiful landscape in front of them, with a massive Cherry Blossom Tree on the other side. "Ta-dah!"
"Mama mia! It's beautiful!" Luigi said as he spotted spirits floating around. "Aaaaand it's filled with spirits…" He sweatdropped.
"Welcome to Hakugyokurou!" Marisa said as they landed where Gloria dismissed the Bee Mushroom. "Was that so terrible?" She asked.
"Could've been a lot worse." Travis said and then they walked forward. "Man, it's like I'm in Japan. This is gorgeous."
"Indeed." Rosalina said.
"Hmm? I see someone up ahead!" Penny said.
"Oh? Oh hey, that's Youmu! She's probably practicing her swordsmanship. Don't worry, she's friendly." Marisa said as they approached Youmu. "Oh Youuumuuuu~! Hello!"
Youmu stopped swinging her sword the moment she turned her head. She immediately turned around and made eye contact with them, unsheathing her sword. "Why exactly are you here?" She asked, her voice filled with hostility.
"Huh?" Marisa blinked.
"Why have you come to the Netherworld? There has to be a reason for this intrusion. Leave now!"
"Youmu, what's gotten into you?" Marisa asked. "We just came to get something, specifically that shiny Power Star over at the Cherry Blossom."
"…So you came to steal it." Youmu clenched her fists.
"Whaaaat? No, we're not gonna steal it… we're just gonna… uh… borrow it!"
"Heh, borrow it?" Youmu scoffed. "Just like all the times you "borrowed" from Patchouli's library and you never took them back?"
Marisa sweatdropped. "You had to bring that up?" She said and then noticed something in Youmu's eyes. "Wait a minute… have your eyes always been… crazy?"
"I will not let you take Lady Yuyuko's Star… I will do what I must."
"…Friendly, huh?" Daisy snarked.
"Well, she's had better days…" Marisa said as they got ready to fight.

Half-Phantom Swordswoman - Youmu Konpaku
Youmu unsheathed her sword and got in a stance, closing her eyes as a cherry blossom fell off of a tree, gently swaying to the ground until it came to a gentle stop on the ground. Youmu opened her eyes and rushed at the group, immediately swinging her sword at Daisy. "Whoa!" She jumped back. "She's fast!" She exclaimed as she lunged at Daisy but Penny got in the way and blocked the attack with her blades, clashing with Youmu as the swordswoman jumped back.
Youmu quickly slashed at Penny as she blocked the attacks and then fired lasers at Youmu to send her back as Travis ran over and slashed at her repeatedly as Gloria called out her Zacian as she slashed at Youmu, as she blocked both of their blades as Youmu glanced over at Gloria as she jumped over the two and rushed at the Scot, swiftly slashing at her but Gloria would quickly bring out her lead pipe and block the attack as she would kick Youmu in the gut and then swung her pipe at the Half-Phantom.
Luigi got into position as Mario got on one knee as Luigi unleashed Knockback Bros where Youmu was pelted by Mario as she was knocked back and turned to the Bros as she tried to cut Mario down when he got close, but Mario pulled out his hammer and blocked the attack as Luigi jumped over as he quickly delivered a few blows but Youmu jumped back and got into position, using Slash of Present World on Luigi to send him flying but he recovered as he fired bolts of lightning at him but she would block this with her sword, then she saw Daisy rushing at her and then punching her, but Youmu weaved her head and then slashed at her, but Daisy's arms turned to crystal and blocked the attack as she would then deliver a roundhouse kick to knock Youmu to the side.
Youmu recovered and then felt herself float up as she would turn to see Rosalina holding her there with her wand as she would then drop her but Youmu held her ground as Rosalina would throw a meteor at her as Youmu got into position and then leapt toward the meteor, slashing through it with ease as Rosalina's eyes widened in surprise as Youmu rushed at Rosalina, but Marisa would slam into her with a Blazing Star. "You okay?"
"Yeah." She said as she aimed her wand at Youmu and fired a laser out of it but Youmu would block the attack where Travis would rush in and slashed through her to send her sliding. Youmu glared at them as she then pulled out her other sword. "Dual wielding?!" Gloria yelled.
"It's a smaller sword… but we gotta be careful!" Penny said as she rushed at Youmu as the latter did the same, both of them clashing their blades as Penny would parry the attack and dance around, hitting Youmu with her blades and then fired lasers as Youmu would block the lasers as Mario and Luigi would rush over and punch her, but Youmu jumped back to avoid the punches as her sword glowed with blue energy as Youmu swung her sword down, unleashing Slash of Departure from Hesitation on the Bros, forcing them to jump back as a shockwave soon followed to knock them back as some dust picked up, but when the dust settled, Zacian went through it and unleashed Behemoth Blade as Youmu tried to block it, but Zacian swung up to disarm Youmu and then resumed Behemoth Blade on her.
"AAAAAGH!" Youmu screamed as she fell on her back in defeat.

"Atta girl!" Gloria fist pumped.
"That thing's a girl?" Marisa asked.
"According to the Pokedex entry, yes." Gloria said.
Marisa blinked. "Poke what now?" She wondered as Penny knelt down and cradled Youmu.
"Ooogh…" Youmu groaned as she sat up, rubbing her head.
"Feeling alright?" Marisa asked.
"I guess…" Youmu said.
"What's the last thing you remember?"
"Eating with Lady Yuyuko… then next thing we know, this Star came over and everything just went dark after that."
"Everything went dark?" Gloria wondered and turned to the Bros. "Hey uh, do Power Stars do that?"
"Not that we know of." Mario shrugged.
"Hmm, something feels odd about this…" Rosalina said.
Youmu got up and turned to the Cherry Blossom Tree. "So you came for that star?"
"Yeah." Marisa nodded.
Youmu gave her a teasing look. "I see, so you want to add it to your collection."
"No, I don't! Besides, I'm not as bad as I used to be."
"Oh yeah? How's Alice holding up?"
Marisa gave her an annoyed look. "Of course you'd play the Alice card…" She said as Youmu let out a chuckle.
"Who's Alice?" Daisy asked.
"Her neighbor. She decided to visit Marisa one day and got herself buried in a landslide." Youmu said.
"Oh, quit your exaggerating! She didn't get buried!" Marisa defended, causing Youmu to snicker.
"Sure, you keep telling yourself that." Youmu said. "Come on, let's go get that Star of yours." She said as they walked.
"Now my curiosity's piqued." Luigi said.
"Yup. Mine too." Gloria said as they walked further to the Cherry Blossom where they would see a ghostly figure staring at it.
"Look at this… isn't it beautiful? It adds a certain charm to the tree, don't you think? Haaaah, I could stare at this for hours…"
"Lady Yuyuko, you might want to stand back." Youmu requested. "They only need it for… something, they weren't very clear."
"No, why would I part with this beautiful object?"
"I think she's obsessed." Penny said as Yuyuko turned around where Marisa would see her eyes.
"Yup, crazy eyes. She's definitely off her rocker just like Youmu." Marisa said as they slowly got ready to fight her.
"Wait a second, hold on!" Youmu said as she approached Yuyuko. "Lady Yuyuko, I think it's time that we part with this Star. We can always just make a paper mache star and put it on the tree."
"It won't be the same. It won't make this Cherry Blossom Tree pop!"
"I know, but we can work with what we have. Now just hand over the Star and we can let things work out." She said as she flew over to retrieve the Power Star.
"Oh Youmu… sweet naive Youmu~" Yuyuko smiled, when she aimed her hand at Youmu.
"YOUMU, LOOK OUT!" Marisa yelled as Youmu turned around as a laser shot out of her hand, along with some butterfly danmaku. She let out a gasp and swiftly avoided the attack, landing near the group. "Alright, looks like we have to fight your ghostly friend!"
"Unfortunately…" Youmu sighed. "Forgive me, Lady Yuyuko…"
"Now then… shall we begin~?" Yuyuko giggled.
BGM: Bloom Nobly, Ink-Black Cherry Blossoms ~ Border of Life (Touhou 7: Perfect Cherry Blossom)
Ghostly Butterflies - Yuyuko Saigyouji
Yuyuko shot out butterfly danmaku at the group. "Butterflies?" Travis asked.
"I'd be careful! They may look pretty but they're dangerous as far as Yuyuko is concerned." Marisa warned as Youmu and Penny rushed at Yuyuko, both of them slashing at her but Yuyuko dodged both attacks as she would fire a colorful laser at the two, but Penny would fire lasers of her own to counteract Yuyuko's laser. Youmu would slash at Yuyuko and then jumped back when Yuyuko would pelt her with butterflies.
Gloria would absorb the Bee Mushroom and then flew over to Yuyuko, unleashing Pin Missile on Yuyuko where she canceled it out with her danmaku, as Gloria would gracefully fly around the danmaku and then stabbed Yuyuko a few times with her lances. Mario and Luigi would jump into the air and then they both hammered Yuyuko, but she caught their hammers and swung them to the ground, but they both got back up as Mario shot a stream of fire while Luigi fired bolts of lightning at her.
Rosalina flew toward Yuyuko as she would launch Star Bits at her, as Yuyuko would respond with Butterfly Delusion. Daisy would make a few Crystal Platforms as Travis and Zacian both jumped on these platforms as they slashed Yuyuko down toward the ground but she recovered and then flew up as she wound gracefully swing her fans to throw danmaku at the group, then she opened up a fan behind her and then unleashed Deadly Lance of the Swallowtail Butterfly Crest at them where lasers and butterflies would launch out at them. Marisa flew around the danmaku as would fire Orreries Sun at Yuyuko, the lasers slamming into each other and creating explosions as Youmu snuck up behind Yuyuko, the latter glancing behind her as she turned around and blocked the attack with her fan. Gloria flew behind her and unleashed Fury Attack on her.
Yuyuko turned her head and then tried to backhand Gloria but she pulled her head back. "Myon!" Youmu cued as her ghostly half transformed and grabbed her smaller sword as she would slash at Yuyuko, knocking her back as Youmu would rush at her with a Slash of Present World and then followed it up with a Hell God Sword: Sudden Divine Severing of Karmic Wind attack as Yuyuko was sent to the tree where she was pelted by fire and lightning from the Bros as Daisy jumped over and Crystal Punched her.
"Hey Penny! You wanna do a double laser attack?" Marisa asked.
"Yeah!" Penny nodded as Rosalina would rush at Yuyuko as an aura surrounded her in the shape of a comet as she slammed into Yuyuko, sending her crashing into the ground as Rosalina flew back as Marisa and Penny would join together as Marisa would aim her Mini-Hakkero at her and fired a Master Spark while Penny fired a laser to combine into the Master Spark to create a Green Master Spark as Yuyuko looked up and was hit by it as she let out a scream of pain before falling over in defeat.

"Booyah!" Marisa fist pumped. "Up top!"
"Yeah!" Penny high fived her hard enough as Marisa had a pained expression on her face where Penny flew down toward Yuyuko.
"Ai yai yai!" Marisa hissed, blowing on her throbbing hand. "Glad I didn't ask for a fist bump…" She winced as Youmu cradled Yuyuko.
"Oooh…" Yuyuko opened her eyes. "…What happened? Did I sleep walk during a food coma? What am I doing at the Cherry Blossom?" She asked as Youmu let out a snicker.
"Long story." Youmu said as Rosalina flew up to collect the Power Star, but she noticed something off when she grabbed a hold of it.
"Oh! That shooting star!" Yuyuko said as Rosalina noticed one part of the star looking off, so she tugged at it… and then the cover came off to reveal a Ztar.
Rosalina let out a horrified gasp. "A Ztar?!"
"What?!" The Bros and Daisy yelled.
"What's that doing here?!" Luigi asked.
"Something corrupted the Power Star…" Rosalina whispered. "But what…"
"Hmm, well come on, let's head back." Marisa said. "Reimu and the others should be wrapping up with the Mansion." She said as they walked off, with Youmu and a curious Yuyuko in tow.
Back at the Scarlet Devil Mansion…
BGM: Swing a Fish to Drive Away Flies (Touhou 10.5: Scarlet Weather Rhapsody)
"Time stopping?!" Nora said in surprise. "Your ability is stopping time?!"
"Yup." Sakuya nodded. "I can stop time and toss around knives to anywhere I want." She said. "I can also rewind time, but I rarely do it. I'd say if I were to rewind time, it'd have to be something major."
"Like what?" Ruby asked.
"Well, I know this will never happen, but imagine going against someone who decided to go back in time, split themselves up in thirteen different bodies to try and destroy the universe and sic a dark tornado on your allies, so you rewind time to correct it and do things properly."
"Oddly specific." Reimu said.
"I know. Who would be dumb enough to split themselves up in thirteen bodies just to destroy the universe?" Qrow asked. "If anything, only one body is plenty. Thirteen? That's just asking for disaster."
"Bonus points if its someone who's bald, ugly, and has elf features." Yang chimed in. "Kinda like having Hylian ears, but uglier."
"Ouch." Ruby winced.
"Hmm… there's something missing." Summer folded her arms and then snapped her fingers. "Aha! Yellow eyes!"
"Of all the colors you could think of, it had to be yellow?" Tai raised an eyebrow.
"Red eyes are overdone."
"Fair enough."
"Why not take it a step further? This old fart is obsessed with this darkness, says it in every sentence and decides to not just destroy the universe, but reset it in his own image, and replace darkness with light for some reason. " Nyx added.
"At that point, put him out the pasture to put him out of his misery." Qrow said.
"I'll do it!" Sarge raised his hand.
Sakuya let out a chuckle. "Yeah, someone like that." She said and then turned to Pyrrha. "So, Pyrrha, was it?"
"Yeah."
"Since we're discussing our own powers, do you mind explaining how you were able to repel my knives?"
"My semblance is polarity." Pyrrha said.
"Polarity…?" Flandre wondered as she was resting her head on Dark Xena's lap. "So, you have the power to control poles?"
"Oh gosh, it's come back to haunt me…" Ruby groaned, earning a pat on the back from Yang and Weiss.
"No, it's magnetism." Patchouli said.
"Ooooh… wait, doesn't that attract?"
"And repels." Patchoui added.
"Oooooh."
Sakuya folded her arms, smirking and letting out a chuckle. "That makes a lot of sense now. Heh, I'll be sure to remember that the next time we have a friendly spar."
"Yeah… wait, what?"
Suddenly, the doors opened up. "We're baaaaack~!" Marisa said. "And we brought-" She made eye contact with Dark Xena. "Oh shit!" She paled.
"Relax. I made peace with Xena. She's resting right now." Dark Xena responded.
"Soooo… you're not… completely crazy?"
"Oh no, I still am, but I've mellowed out. You can relax."
"Phew…" Marisa sighed with relief. "So how was it?"
"Oh, pretty good… we took on practically the majority of the Scarlet Devil Mansion aside from Patchy and Koakuma." Reimu said. "Most of us took on Sakuya and Remilia while Xena took on Flandre."
"Oh, that's ni- WAIT, SHE DID WHAT?!" Marisa yelled and looked at Dark Xena in surprise.
"Xena did most of the work. I dealt the final blow." Dark Xena said.
Marisa sweatdropped. "I… I see…" She said as the others walked in.
"Greetings." Youmu said.
"Hello~!" Yuyuko waved.
Rosalina would notice the two other Ztars on the coffee table. "Here too?"
"Yeah." Reimu nodded. "It corrupted Sakuya and the vampires, though Patchouli, Koakuma and Meiling weren't."

"Mmm…" Rosalina let out a sigh. "Then that means the other Power Stars here are Ztars." She said, pulling out the Ztar they got from the Netherworld.
"So what are Ztars anyway?" Weiss asked. "Nyx mentioned that they are corrupted Power Stars."
"They are." Rosalina nodded as she lifted up the three Ztars, where she snapped her fingers as the room changed to a galactic-like setting where the Ztars turned into Power Stars.
BGM: Dive Into the Heart (Kingdom Hearts III)
"Power Stars are normally cosmic beings filled with pure energy. If someone were to use these Power Stars, in the right hands, they would use their power to ward off evil. These Power Stars can be an alternative for fuel in star ships. In harmony, they are meant to bring purity and good fortune to those who use it. If you allow them, their powers would be of great benefit. However…" Rosalina waved her hand as the Power Stars turned back into Ztars. "If someone were to come near these Power Stars with the wrong intentions, these Power Stars will feed off their corruption and their darkness will turn these Power Stars into Ztars and in turn, the Ztars's corruption will corrupt anyone if they hold it for too long. Someone of light… someone of darkness… it doesn't matter. Even the purest of souls would be corrupted, even if their intentions were to try to turn the Ztar back to normal."
Sakuya, the Scarlet Sisters, Youmu and Yuyuko all looked at each other. "But wait, some of us have held it and we didn't get corrupted." Reimu said.
"That is because Ztars go into hibernation for a short time after their hold on someone has been broken." Rosalina said.
"How long is this short time?" Summer asked.
"About a few days." Rosalina exclaimed. "These Ztars are filled with corrupted energy and will corrupt anyone that comes close to it."
"But hold on a second. Bowser stole the Power Stars and trapped us within Peach's Castle and they didn't turn into Ztars at all." Weiss said.
"The only likely explanation is the fact that despite Bowser being evil, he's not truly sinister." Rosalina said.
"That's true… we beat him one day, and then the next, he's just a big goofball." Daisy said. "Go-karting, tennis, you name it… he's pretty chill when he's not off kidnapping Peach for the millionth time."
"Hmm, then perhaps Eggman has something to do with it… or someone worse." Rosalina folded her arms, closing her eyes and picturing Cinder, Emerald and Mercury. "Mmph… what about Bowser's minions?"
"They're also pretty chill when we're not fighting. Heck, we worked together with Roman, Neo, Kamek and General Guy at one point." Yang said.
"I see…" Those other three though… what is their deal? She thought.
"So… is there a way to bring these Ztars back to normal?" Reimu asked.
"There are three alternatives. One is wait a thousand years and all the corrupted energy will finally be exhausted and it will turn into a Power Star again." Everyone grimaced at the thought. "The second alternative is if they come in contact with a certain amount of Grand Stars to dispel the evil energy. About… oh, seven will do. Any less and it just won't be as effective."
"How many Grand Stars do we have?" Daisy asked.
"Four." Mario responded.
"Shoot!"
"The third alternative… is to go to Star Haven and take these to the Star Spirits. There, they will be able to dispel the corruption in a matter of seconds." Rosalina explained, as the galactic setting disappeared as the Ztars floated down to the ground.

"Personally, if it were up to me, I'd go with the second or third alternative." Summer said. "I may be patient, but I'm not that patient… I'd be dead!"
"Mom, you're already dead." Ruby pointed out.
"From boredom."
"Ooooh… yeah…"
"Lady Palutena, did you get all that?" Pit asked.
"I did. I'm going to explain it to the others."
"Mmm… so if these five were corrupted, then chances are, the other locations where the Ztars are at… anyone would be unwittingly corrupted by these Ztars." Reimu said. "…Penny, where did you say the others were at?"
"A Bamboo Forest, a mountain and the sky itself." Penny said.
"Bamboo Forest of the Lost, Youkai Mountain and Heaven." Reimu folded her arms. "Okay, some of us will have to go to the Bamboo Forest."
"I'll go and get Alice." Marisa said. "I believe she would want to come with."
BGM: Heretic, Hero (Halo 2)
"Yeah… the one that worries me the most is Heaven." Reimu said. "Kanako, I'm not too worried about… if anything, she'd try to get everyone to worship her instead of me, but in Heaven… it's Tenshi I'm worried about."
"Think we should go get Komachi just in case?" Sakuya asked.
"It'd be wise." Reimu nodded. "Okay, here's what we do. Some of us go find that Ztar in the Bamboo Forest, the rest of us will go get Alice. Sakuya, you go get Komachi. Then we'll meet at Youkai Mountain where we'll get the last two Ztars."
"Sounds good to me!" Marisa said.
"Right!" Ruby nodded.
"Oh goodness me, even the vampires? They don't do so well in the sun." Yuyuko said.
"We'll make do." Remilia said.
"…Can I say something real quick?" Caboose spoke up. "You mentioned to us that the Scarlet Mist incident you pulled to shroud Gensokyo in darkness was so you could walk around freely without having to worry about being weakened from the sun."
"Yes."
"Instead of all of Gensokyo, why not just have it above you and Flan whenever you go outside? Just a small batch of mist above your heads."
Remilia jawdropped. "E-excuse me?!"
"Holy shit… it must be the end times. Caboose said something smart!" Grif said.
"Welp, see y'all when armageddon hits!" Sarge said.
"Will you knock it off!" Church yelled.
"Wow sis, for being five years older than me, you didn't really think that through, didn't you?" Flandre teased. "Can't believe Caboose of all people pointed it out."
"Zip it!" Remilia glared, her face blushing a deep red.
"Hooray for pointing something out! …What did I point out again?"
"You pointed out that Remilia shrouded Gensokyo in darkness and that they could have just a small ball of mist above their heads." Church said.
"I did? I don't remember saying that." Caboose said, causing Church to facepalm.
"Aaaand there it is." Washington said.
"I did mention it to her before she shrouded Gensokyo in darkness, but I was ignored." Patchouli shrugged.
"Now don't you start!" Remilia yelled, still blushing in embarrassment.
"There's also the fact Patchouli is very sick." Yuyuko pointed out. "Her asthma and anemia would be holding us back."
"That hasn't stopped me before." Patchouli said.
"She does have a point." Youmu said. "Now then, let's get these Ztars!" She said, pointing her sword toward the door as she heard a fangirl scream… and then Ruby was immediately at her face.
"Oh my goodness, look at the sharp edge! Look at the tip of the blade! The length! Aaaah, it's so cool!" Her eyes sparkled, as Youmu sweatdropped and looked at her weirdly.
"Doooown girl." Summer said, as she, Yang and Tai had to restrain her.
"…I… I don't even want to know." Youmu said as they all ran out the doors with Patchouli chanting a spell as a small ball of scarlet mist appeared above the Scarlet Sisters, which caused Flandre to giggle.
"You're enjoying this, aren't you?" Remilia asked.
"Yup~!" She continued to giggle where Penny and Reimu guided a few over to the Bamboo Forest of the Lost.

Gensokyo Star 5 - Fire in the Bamboo Forest - Reimu, Penny, JNPR, Daisy, Gloria
"Let's see, it's got to be here somewhere…" Penny said, scanning the area. "Aha! It's up ahead… along with a lot of individuals."
"Oh?" Daisy wondered as they got closer where they came across a building, and a bunch of rabbit creatures working.
"Eientei." Reimu said as they saw surprised looks from the others. "Okay, yeah, I know what you're thinking. They all look like Velvet, but they're not. They're Lunarians, specifically Moon Rabbits."
"Ooooh, that makes sense." Jaune said as they walked over to them where they saw a certain Lunarian chatting with a moon rabbit, the latter's ear twitched as she turned to her.
"What is it, Reisen?" She asked and turned to them. "Oh! Hi Reimu! Who are your friends?"
"Guys, this is Reisen Udongein Inaba-"
"Hello!"
"And Kaguya Houraisan."
"Pleased to meet you." Kaguya said.
"Guys, this is Penny, Jaune, Nora, Pyrrha, Ren, Daisy and Gloria."
"Salutations!" Penny waved as the others waved as well.
"Nice to meet you!" Kaguya smiled. "So, what brings you here to Eientei?"
"We're looking for a star. Have you seen it?" Reimu asked.
"A star?" Kaguya wondered. "Oh! I think I know what you mean." She said as she walked inside and then came back out with a disguised Ztar. "You mean this one?"
"Yes! That one!" Penny said. "Well, that was easy!"
"Ah ah ah! I'm not just gonna give it to you… unless you are willing to do me a favor."
Reimu's eyes widened. "Kaguya, NO!"
"What kind of favor?" Nora asked.
"You see, there is this… bird that tends to pester me every so often. I want you guys to take it out for me. Do that and this star is yours."
"What does this bird look like?" Penny asked.
"Oh, it has white feathers with red legs. Can't miss it." Kaguya smiled.
"We're on it!" Penny said as she took off with the others.
"Guys NO!" Reimu yelled and then growled, turning to Kaguya.
"That'll get Miss Fire Butt out of my hair for a while." Kaguya giggled, when Reimu suddenly pinned her to a wall. "Eeep!"
"You manipulative moon bitch." Reimu glared.
With the others…
"You know, something tells me we're getting way in over our heads over this." Ren said.
"You think?" Pyrrha asked.
"We took on a time stopping maid while the others took on two vampires, not to mention a martial artist gatekeeper and now we're helping out some stranger deal with this bird."
"Yeah, meanwhile we took on a phantom and a ghost." Daisy said.
"I have to say… this world is indeed powerful." Pyrrha said. "Even if we got a power boost from Yukari, we still struggled."
"But hey, we know their powers so we can easily whoop their butts the next time!" Nora pointed out.
"She's right!" Gloria grinned.
"Oh! I see something!" Penny said as they saw a girl walking around with a hum. They would notice the white hair and the red pants. "White feathers, red legs… that's our target!"
"…I've got a bad feeling about this." Ren said as they approached her.
"Hmmhmm… hmm?" The girl turned around. "Oh, are you guys lost?"
"We're here to take you down, chicken legs!" Nora said.
"Chicken le-… huh?" She looked at her in surprise. "Okay, what has gotten into you?"
"Excuse us, but we've been asked to take you down." Penny said.
"Asked? Okay, you guys got the wrong girl. Maybe you're thinking of someone else with… uh… chicken legs." She said. "So why don't you put the weapons down and-" Nora would aim her grenade launcher at her and shot her in the gut, sending her flying into a bamboo shoot.
"Bullseye!"
"…Oh shit." Daisy paled.
"Lass… I may be insane at times, but I think you just made a mistake." Gloria sweatdropped as the girl got up, glaring at them.
"Alright… you just asked for it." She said as she cracked her knuckles. "You just messed with the wrong phoenix." She snarled.
"Ah yeah, now we're talking!" Nora said. "What's your name, hot head?"
"Mokou… and it's the last name you're ever gonna hear!"

Hourai Phoenix - Fujiwara no Mokou
Mokou launched herself toward the group as she launched fireballs at the group as they jumped back as Penny fired lasers at Mokou, as she was hit in the back. Mokou turned around and rushed at Penny where she delivered fast fire punches as Penny tried to block these but Mokou would kick her into a bamboo shoot. She would then turn to JNPR and then unleashed Phoenix Tail on them as they tried to block the fire as Ren shot at Mokou and Nora would hammer her, but Mokou bent herself backwards to dodge the swing as she would then kick Nora up in the air and dropped her hammer as Mokou then grabbed it and then jumped up, enveloping the hammer in fire and then hammered Nora to the ground, immediately knocking her out.
"NORA!" Ren yelled as Mokou grabbed a hold of his arm and threw him to a bamboo shoot. She then laid eyes on Jaune, Pyrrha, Daisy and Gloria as she would unleash a fire tornado as they tried to avoid the attack, only for Mokou to grab Daisy and Jaune as they were sucked into the tornado and were knocked high into the air as Mokou jumped up and threw a massive fireball at them to send them crashing to the ground.
"Oh Arceus…" Gloria whispered as Pyrrha rushed at Mokou and tried to slash her, but Mokou would swiftly duck and then punched her in the gut to make her hunch over and then deliver an uppercut to knock her up in the air. She would then turn to Gloria, watching her back up slowly as she had a terrified look on her face, as her back immediately was pressed against a Bamboo shoot. "Shite!" She cursed as Mokou walked over to her slowly.
"Uuugh…" Penny would shake it off and see what Mokou was doing to Gloria. "Gloria!" She yelled as she flew over to Mokou, who turned around and punched her in the face to make her crash into the ground. She would then turn back to Gloria, as a fiery phoenix was right behind Mokou.
"Tell me… who do you work for?" She asked, menacingly igniting her hand.
"I… I don't work for anyone! That lass sent us here… Kagura, I think!"
Mokou let out a gasp, her eyes widening as the phoenix disappeared and her flames extinguished.

"Kaguya… Kaguya sent you…?! For what?!"
"To trade something that we want! She said in order for us to get it, we had to take you out!"
Mokou's eye twitched. "That… that… THAT…!" A fiery aura surrounded Mokou. "THAT MOON BIIIIIIIIIIIITCH!" She screamed as she turned around and rushed at Eientei, causing Gloria to fall on her knees and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Holy shite, that was terrifyin'!"
Back at Eientei…
"Of all the things you could do, this is by far the lowest thing you could've done." Reimu glared.
"Oh relax, they'll be fine!"
"Right, just like that time when you said Mokou's dad would be fine when you sent him on a fool's errand which killed him?"
"Hey, it's not my fault he wasn't up to the task."
Reisen's eye twitched, glancing over to something coming over to her. "Hey Lady Kaguya… um… something's coming."
"Hmm?" Kaguya looked. "Oh, it's Mokou!" She said with a smile, before it then dawned on her. "…Oh… it's Mokou…" She paled. "Uh oh…"
"KAGUYA, YOU ARE SO DEAD!"
"Uh… oh, would you look at the time, I gotta go!" Kaguya said as she ran off. "AAAAH! EIRIN, HELP ME!" She yelled as Mokou flew past Reimu and Reisen.
"THAT NURSE ISN'T GOING TO SAVE YOU THIS TIME!" Mokou yelled as she tackled Kaguya to the ground.
"Wait wait wait, before you kill me… I just want to say… they were willing to kill you!"
"Yeah, but you manipulated them, so it all comes back to YOU!"
"Rrrgh!" Kaguya kicked her off of her. "Alright, hot head! Let's go!" She said as the two of them lunged at each other and got into a fighting dust cloud in the process, with danmaku and fire being thrown around.
"Oi…" Reimu shook her head as she saw the others returning, with Gloria having used some Hyper Potions on her friends to patch them up. "Oh hey."
"…Are they normally like this?" Jaune asked.
"Immortal enemies. Take a few sips of the Hourai Elixer, and you'll be immortal from everthing. You'll still be able to die, but you'll come back alive within… a day or so. Depending on how severe it is." Reimu said.
"GAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
"Ooooh, that looks painful!" Reisen winced.
"Well, she deserved it." Reimu shrugged.
"So, what do you need the Star for?" Reisen asked where Reimu would bring her up to speed. "Oh! Mind if I come with you?"
"Sure, why not?" Reimu said with a chuckle as they noticed the fight quickly ended with Mokou dragging a KO'd Kaguya with blood dripping out of her nose.
"I swear, you and your bullshit tactics to get me killed. I swear you never run out of ideas." Mokou said, throwing her into a well and then dusted her hands off, wiping the blood from her nose. She would then glance at the others as she walked near them without saying a word… but then she stopped. "Hey."
"Yeah?" Nora looked at her warily.
Mokou turned her head. "If you feel like sparring, I'll go easy on ya." She said as she walked off.
"So, no hard feelings?" Jaune asked.
"Yeah, we're cool… and besides, I wasn't even using my full strength on you guys. In fact, I went easy on you."
"WHAT?!" They all yelled, as Mokou let out a chuckle and then walked off, giving off a simple wave and walked away.
"Well, that was… interesting." Penny said and then looked at Gloria who had her mouth open. "Um, Gloria?" She asked, poking her head as Gloria immediately fainted on the spot. "Oh!"
Reimu let out a sigh, picking up the KO'd Scot. "Come on, let's go." She said, taking the Ztar with them.
Meanwhile, with Marisa's group…

"Is this Alice's house?" Blake asked.
"Nah, it's my house." Marisa said.
"Oooh, too bad Daisy, Gloria and Penny's not here. Those three would definitely have loved to see the so-called mess." Travis said.
"Oh right, Youmu was telling us that." Luigi said as he walked over to the door. "It can't be that bad, right?"
"Wait wait, NO!" Marisa yelled as Luigi opened up the door… and was met with a massive tidal wave of items.
"MAMA MIA!" Luigi yelled.
"HOLY SHI-" Luigi and Grif were immediately buried underneath the items as everyone else stared in shock over the items.
"Told ya." Youmu said, looking at Marisa smugly.
"Marisa… you have a problem." Yang said.
"I do not!"
"Oh, what's this?" Summer wondered as she picked up the book. "A Beginner's Guide to Stop Being a Kleptomaniac." She read, hearing a few snickers from the group.
"I was wondering if you "borrowed" that book." Patchouli teased.
"Oh shut it!" Marisa blushed in embarrassment.
"Grif! Can you hear me?" Sarge asked.
"Mmmph! Mmmph!"
"I don't hear him! He's dead! Huzzah!"
"OMPH FUMPH YOUMPH!" Grif said, raising his arm out of the debris and flipping him off.
"Heheheh." Sarge chuckled.
"What's with all the noise?" A voice asked as they turned to see someone approaching. "Seriously, can't a girl get some peace and quiet?" She asked and then saw the mess. "Oh, you decided to give everyone the "Welcome Home" tour, hmm?"
"Not you too, Alice…" Marisa sighed, causing Alice to giggle.
"Hello everyone, I'm Alice Margatroid." She greeted. "And… you are…?"
One introduction later…
"I'll be sure to remember all of that." Alice said. "So, what are you doing here?"
"Well, we were going to come ask you if you want to come with us."
"Oh? What for?" Alice asked.
"Does saving Gensokyo from Black Stars sound intriguing to you? One of them happens to be in Tenshi's possession."
"Oooh, intriguing… I'm in." Alice said.
"Great! Now let's go to Youkai Mounta-"
"Wait a moment." Alice said. "I know we have a lot of help, but what if we had a few more?"
"What are you getting at?" Marisa asked, while Rosalina fished out Luigi and Grif.
Alice chuckled, looking at the big star in the sky. "Well, if I recall, we did get some new neighbors. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to help us out~" She said with a hum.
When Rosalina was explaining the Ztars, I was going for a Dr. Strange approach. (Remember that scene in Infinity War, when Wong explained the Infinity Stones to Tony?) I think I nailed it... maybe.
