Ulrich362: It's been quite a while hasn't it?

Ulrich362: Well things seem to be improving after Riley and Atem's babies were born so lets see what's going on now.

It had been a few days since Stephanie and Andy had gotten home when the doorbell suddenly rang. Atem answered the door.

"Oh... hi uncle Atem." Will said nervously. "Are you busy?"

"No I'm not." Atem smiled.

Will nodded. "Can we talk alone?"

Curious Atem nodded.

They walked into the other room.

"Uncle Atem... am I a bad person?"

"Why did you ask that?" Atem asked him.

Will looked down. "Because of why I dated Leslie."

"No your not." Atem smiled to him.

"But... I only dated her because she looked like mom, isn't that a bad thing?" Will asked sadly.

"No it isn't. It was only a misunderstanding." Atem told him.

"No it wasn't." Will argued before looking down with a blush.

"It's alright Will. Mary forgives you on it." Atem told him.

Will frowned. "Uncle Atem... I think I'm in love with mom, that's really bad."

"It's a different kind of love Will." Atem told him.

Will blushed. "It feels the same you said you feel with aunt Riley though."

"Is the love you feel with Mary different?" Atem asked him.

Will kept blushing. "It's the same."

"Well what I can tell you is to tell your mom, and Mary, and they'll tell you what to do." Atem told him.

Will looked scared but nodded only to frown. "Um... what if they get mad?"

"They won't Will." Atem smiled.

He looked down nervously before nodding and leaving. Atem looked on before thinking, 'Please don't let this be another disaster...'

With that he walked up to check on Riley who had been asleep for her body to recover. She was sleeping with Stephanie next to her holding Andy close. She shifted slightly before opening her eyes. "Atem...?"

"Oh sorry to wake you Riley." Atem whispered.

She smiled. "It's ok."

She then turned to the twins. "She's still holding him?"

"Yeah." Atem nodded turning to them.

Hearing voices Stephanie turned and saw them before trying to hide Andy again.

"And she still thinks we're gonna harm Andy." Atem frowned.

"What can we do?" Riley asked him.

Atem walked over to the side Andy's on. Stephanie immediately pulled him closer to her and glared at Atem. Atem looked surprised seeing her glaring, "S-Stephanie it's okay. We're not gonna hurt him."

She pulled Andy closer but then surprisingly moved closer to Riley and farther from Atem. Riley looked surprised as did Atem. Stephanie moved closer to Riley and tried to hide herself and Andy from Atem. Atem seeing this looked down sadly. "My own daughter doesn't like me."

Ring Ring. Atem went over, and answered. "Yes?"

"Hello, Mr. Sakaki?" asked a male voice he didn't recognize.

"Yes." Atem answered dejected.

"I'm Dr. Sanders, in charge of the hospital where your children were born and after being informed of their behavior I thought it best I call you." the man explained.

"About what? That my daughter hates me?" Atem asked him.

"She doesn't hate you or your wife." Dr. Sanders told him. "You see there are two things going on at the moment, first twins are naturally very close to each other and their mother. Also, since your son was so small after being born as opposed to his sister she would naturally be more protective of him."

Hearing that Atem looked surprised.

"Mr. Sakaki?" Dr. Sanders asked.

"I-Sorry. I haven't thought of that." Atem told him.

"I understand, but if anything unusual does happen bring them in. Have a good day." Dr. Sanders nodded before hanging up.

Atem hanged up also.

"Atem?" Riley asked walking up to him holding the twins.

"Two things going on." Atem answered, "First twins are naturally close to themselves, and their mom. And since Andy was so small when he was born Stephanie is more protective about him."

Riley paused before nodding. "That makes sense."

"I honestly thought she doesn't like me there." Atem admitted.

Riley frowned before moving and handing Stephanie to Atem where she looked up at him in confusion. Atem looked down on her before, "Hi Stephanie. I'm your daddy."

She blinked before turning to where Riley was holding a still sleeping Andy with a smile on his face before she reached up. Atem smiled taking her. She stared at him for a few seconds before moving closer to him. Atem smile's grew with that.

"I guess she's just a protective big sister." Riley smiled.

Atem nodded behold lifting Stephanie up, and kissed her forehead, "Take great care of your brother. He's gonna need your help."

She giggled at that before reaching for Andy again. Atem softly handed her to Riley. Riley smiled.

Later that day...

Atem was walking with Riley as she used the stroller Atem bought to wheel the twins. That's when they saw something that shocked them, a missing child poster of Will.

"Huh?" Atem asked shocked.

That's when his eyes widened, Will must not have told Rin or Yugo that he was going to see him and been too scared to go back home. He could be anywhere in any of the dimensions.

"Dammit..." Atem grunted punching the wall.

"Atem?" Riley asked nervously as the babies started to cry seeing that.

"Will came earlier when you were sleeping, and told me something." Atem told her.

"Did he tell you where he was going?" Riley asked.

"No." Atem answered telling her of their conversation.

Riley's eyes widened in horror hearing that. "We have to help find him."

Atem nodded in agreement. With that they ran to try and look for Will. They looked around desperately for him.

"Atem, Riley?" Lulu asked running up with Zuzu, Celina, Rin, Wendy, and Mary.

"Have you seen Will, please tell me you've seen him." Rin said fearfully.

"No we haven't." Atem answered.

"We've been looking ever since we seen that poster." Riley told her.

Rin looked ready to break down into tears hearing that.

"Rin... I'm sorry. I think I got him to run." Atem told her looking down.

"What do you mean?" Zuzu asked.

Atem explained it to them. Everyone except Riley looked shocked before Mary started crying. Atem looked down. Rin suddenly gasped. "Wait... he wouldn't do that would he?"

"Do what?" Celina asked her.

"Atem... do you remember when you first went to the Synchro Dimension?" Rin asked. "Before you met Jack?"

"Yeah. Some officers said me, Shay, Lulu, and Celina were under arrest for no reason." Atem answered.

Rin looked nervous. "Will thought he was a bad person... you don't think he would do something reckless and try to be arrested do you?"

Atem looked shocked, "Oh my god... Come on we better get there!"

The others nodded. They headed to the Synchro Dimension. When they arrived they saw people cheering for Jack as he dueled a random duelist.

"Okay we better look for him as best as we can!" Atem told them.

"Atem... what if we're too late?" Rin asked.

Hearing Atem look down as tears build in his eyes.

"You guys!" Yuya called running up with Yuri, Yuto, and Yugo. "Any luck?"

All but Atem turned as Lulu said, "No. But he might've gotten himself arrested."

"What, but why?" Yugo asked in shock. "After everything we went through how could he do that?"

Riley looked down before she told them what happened.

"In other words he was in love with Rin, dated someone he didn't like just because she looked like his mother, and now feels like a horrible person for being in love with Rin and Mary." Yuri summarized.

Atem grunted deeper closing his eyes.

"You're giving up Atem?" Yuri asked him.

"No. But what if we're too late?" Atem asked him.

"Then we start a breakout." Yuri answered simply.

Atem turned to Rin when he said that. She was crying as Zuzu comforted her. Atem walked over patting her back, "Rin... I'm sorry."

She turned to him before just completely breaking down into tears. Atem looked down at that.

"Well, what are we waiting for? You want to get Will back so shouldn't we head to this prison?" Yuri questioned.

With that they went to get him.

Meanwhile in the Underground Facility...

Will was sitting on his own looking down and just crying as the other prisoners talked about random things.

"Prisoners!" an officer called.

Everyone including Will turned to the officer.

"Chief Armstrong has an announcement to make!" an officer called as a big guy with sideburns walk forward.

"Now listen you maggots are here for a reason! And don't think for a second your getting out of here!" Armstrong sneered to them, "You are stuck for life! No matter how much you scream or beg your never getting out!"

'That's what I wa... deserve, to never leave.' Will thought hearing that.

"And now rest your caps dirtbags!" Armstrong called before walking off.

The prisoners watched him go before spreading out again.

"You okay dude?" a voice asked Will.

Will turned to the voice. It was a short purple hair man with a yellow mark on his cheek. Will frowned. "No, but I'm where I belong."

"You believe you belong in the Facility?" the man asked him sitting beside him.

"Of course I do." Will answered. "It's where bad people belong."

"Not everyone in here is a bad person." the man told him.

"You don't get a criminal mark for being a good person." Will argued before frowning and walking over to a wall where he sat down with his head in his hands.

'Those judge unfairly do.' the man thought to himself.

"Hey, get over here and help carry these pipes." another prisoner shouted at the man.

"Argh pipe down! You'll get their attention!" the man snapped walking over.

With that they walked off. Will was looking down.

Later that day...

Armstrong was in his office working on some paperwork when a knock got his attention, "Enter."

The door opened and the person walked in. It was Atem, Yugo, and the others.

"Can I help you?" Armstrong asked them.

"Yes, you can let my son out of here." Yugo told him.

"Your son?" Armstrong asked him.

"Yes, Will." Yugo repeated.

"Nobody leaves the Facility." Armstrong told him. "Now get out of my sight before I have you all arrested too."

"False accusations." Yuri told him.

"Oh, and you would know this how?" Armstrong questioned.

"Getting us under arrest for no reason, judged unfairly, and for bothering is not a jailable offense, and doesn't suit for an officer of your stature." Yuri smirked, "For that reason if your boss hears about this you'll lose your job."

"The brat was arrested for assaulting and nearly killing an officer." Armstrong revealed.

"I meant for us. Dimwitted is also what you are." Yuri told him coldly. "You don't even know why he had done it."

"Why should I care, now get out of my sight." Armstrong replied. "It's my job to keep this place in order, and interfering with that is something I can have you arrested for."

"Which is also another false accusation." Yuri smirked.

Armstrong glared at Yuri.

"Now you either let Will go or we will tell your boss, and you lose your job." Yuri smirked to him, "Make your choice."

"Not happening, four officers saw the assault. That brat isn't going anywhere." Armstrong told him. "This conversation is over."

"No it ain't." Atem stepped forward. "Why not one of us have a match against you for his freedom?"

"No." Armstrong told him.

"I'm not asking for your approval." Atem told him glaring, "Plus I'm the Synchro Dimension's Champion so guess what? What I say goes here."

Armstrong's eyes widened hearing that before he pressed a button. "Send the brat up."

He let go of the button after saying that.

"You can stay, the others leave." Armstrong told him.

Atem only crossed his arms. The others walked out.

A few minutes later Will walked into the office.

"Will." Atem said in relief.

"Uncle Atem? What are you doing here?" Will asked in shock.

"Getting you out of here is what." Atem said looking over him, "Are you hurt?"

Will looked down. "I should be here uncle, I'm a criminal."

"No your not." Atem told him.

"I attacked an officer uncle!" Will shouted before looking down. "And that's the least bad thing I've done."

"Sounds like a confession to me, he'll be staying." Armstrong stated.

"He won't!" Atem yelled at him.

"Uncle Atem I have to!" Will cried with tears. "I belong here."

"No you don't. You belong with your mom, and everyone else." Atem told him.

"No I don't... you know that." Will insisted before looking down.

"I do." Atem told him hugging him, "This is about our talk earlier isn't it? They know now, and right now we're getting out of here, and we'll talk to them."

"We can't." Will argued. "Please... just leave me down here uncle Atem..."

"You are not a bad person Will." Atem told him. "And you never are."

Will looked to Atem revealing he was trying not to break down right there. Atem embraced him in a soft hug. Will just started to cry.

"Come on. Let's go home." Atem said picking him up, and giving a warning stare to Armstrong before walking off.

Will didn't say anything but just cried as Armstrong frowned before making a call as Atem left. Atem walked out of the Facility where Rin, and the others were waiting. The moment they left Will just started sobbing. Atem softly rubbed his back.

"I should have stayed there uncle Atem... I'm a horrible person." Will choked out.

"No your not." Atem told him softly.

Will just started crying again.

"Guys!" Atem called to Rin, and the others.

They turned and all immediately ran to him.

"Will!" Yugo, Rin, and Mary cried.

Hearing them he started sobbing even more. "Let me go back uncle Atem... please."

"Will you don't belong there. You belong with us." Atem told him softly.

"... I attacked an officer." Will argued weakly.

"And we'll tell them to let it slide." Atem told him.

Will turned away and whispered.

"Everybody hates me anyway. I want to go back."

"Will!" Rin ran as Atem handed him over to her as she hugged him deep, "My baby boy! Are you okay?"

Will looked at Rin in shock before starting to cry again. "I have to go back, I hurt the officer really bad."

"Don't worry about that Will." Rin cried softly, "He's willing to let you go."

"Rin... you remember what Atem said don't you?" Lulu asked her.

Atem looked down hearing that.

"Yeah, I remember." Rin nodded.

Will continued crying. Rin hugged him. "It's ok, we're going home Will."

She gently kissed his forehead before everyone walked off.

Ulrich362: Well then... there's likely going to be a long conversation but with any luck things work out and then only one problem will be left.

bopdog111: A close call there. Atem really has kept his title has he?
