Alright gang, lets kick some Eggman butt. Side Note: The doc's a minor/major villain, he's not the big bad. Somebody else is, who is it, not tellin' until we're near the end. I will say this though, the main villain is connected to the shadowy guy from several episodes earlier.
Ok, lets go. ACTION TIME, prepare yourselves for an intense battle!
As Eggman flew back to his Egg Alpha Base with the Chao in custody, he relished in his victory. After all these years, he'd seemingly come up with the ultimate unbeatable world domination plan at long last. Sonic couldn't stop him and neither could his own friends or his family.
The madman couldn't wait to insert the Chao into his Chaos Omega Device, which would allow him to unleash the full might of his great empire on the universe. In minutes, all would be bowing to his evil will. Oh, little did he know that his own overconfidence was about to be his undoing... again.
Not too far behind, a speedy hedgehog was in pursuit, eager to stop the doctor at all costs. But the hedgehog wasn't Sonic nor was it Shadow nor was it the time traveling hedgehog with psychic powers from another time and another world, it was a hero in training who'd trained for this moment for a while now.
He could not fail, Bloonic could not allow Eggman to triumph. The Chao were in grave peril, all Chao would end up in great danger if the power of those poor captured Chao were used. These Chao embodied the power of the Chaos Emeralds, the gemstones Eggman had tried to utilize for his dark gains so many times.
But the doctor wasn't after the emeralds right now, wherever the Chaos Emeralds were, they were in a safe location and that was a good thing they were safely tucked away somewhere and undetectable by anyone evil to try and use them for dark and twisted purposes, otherwise that would have been disastrous.
Not relenting or slowing down, the purple hedgehog kept running, making sure not to get detected by the fat scientist or any of his machines. By the time Bloonic had caught up to a degree, Eggman had gone inside Egg Base Alpha, a ginormous compound with symbols of the Eggman Empire on it.
Pops had talked about Final Egg in Mystic Ruins, but the Egg Alpha Base was different next to Final Egg or any of the others. Bloonic observed the structure for a couple minutes and made his way towards the front door, which was guarded by two modified versions of the doctor's old Egg Gunner robots.
"HALT! IDENTIFY YOURSELF!" The robots demanded as soon as they saw the approaching purple hybrid hedgehog vampire. "Sorry guys." Bloonic remarked, "But I got an appointment with the doctor." And with those seven words, he attacked the robots and smashed them to pieces before breaking down the front door.
He fearlessly raced down the metallic hallway ahead as alarms began blaring and red lights flashed dangerously, a robotic P.A system buzzed loudly, "INTRUDER ALERT! INTRUDER ALERT!" Deep within the cybernetic lair, Eggman was about to put his captured Chao in the machine when the intruder alert sounded.
"What?" He shouted and hurried over to the computer console, his face narrowed with angered outrage when he saw Bloonic tearing through his base, smashing robot guards left and right. "Why that little...?" The doctor slammed a red button and shouted, "ATTENTION ALL ROBOTS, THIS IS YOUR MASTER SPEAKING!
"A SPIKY NUISANCE HAS INTRUDED IN EGG BASE ALPHA AND THREATENS TO RUIN MY PLANS, STOP HIM AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT LET HIM THROUGH AND DO NOT LET HIM RUIN MY MASTER PLAN, I AM VERY CLOSE TO ACHIEVING IT. IF YOU FAIL, I WILL BE SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED! OBEY YOUR ORDERS!"
The base's defense systems came on line, turrets emerging from walls and compactors came to life, Badniks on standby mode activated, Eggman's attack robots ready to obey their master's orders. Lasers fired and alarms continued to blare as Bloonic trashed every single turret and robot close by.
"HEY, HEDGEHOG VAMPIRE BOY!" Eggman shouted over the P.A system, "WANNA PLAY BALL? I GOT A BALL FOR YOU!" A hatch opened up in the ceiling and a gigantic metal boulder dropped down, rolling right for the young hero. Bloonic jumped out of the way as the ball hit a robot and smashed it completely.
"AHHHRRRRGH, THAT TRAP COMPLETELY FAILED!" The doctor sounded extremely enraged now, "OK, IF YOU WANT TO FACE ME AND SAVE THE CHAO I HAVE HOSTAGE, THEN COME TO THE MAIN CHAMBER. I WILL BE WAITING, YOU GOT A TON OF NERVE FOR SOMEONE WHO'S THE SON OF SONIC!"
And you have a lot of nuts for a mad scientist. The hyperactive, speedy junior hero thought as he tore through some Egg Fighters and a group of Egg Pawns, who were guarding a lift. Bloonic jumped in the elevator and it descended downwards until it was on the floor he needed to be and got off.
The hallway leading up towards the biggest door in the base was heavily guarded by the biggest pack of Eggman robots ever, consisting of classic Badniks and more advanced robots. The vampirehog didn't care, if Eggman put those Chao into some machine, the world was in trouble.
He blasted off at light speed, breaking through the robots and freeing some animals from inside a group of Motobugs and Buzzbombers. Bloonic reached the door and began smashing it with several spin attacks until the door burst down, allowing him to enter the main chamber of the base.
Darkness covered the room, save for a few blinking lights. Bloonic sniffed as he looked around, sensing that Eggman was nearby somewhere. BAM! A humongous mech came down from above, it was bulky with big arms, had a spiked wrecker ball hand, a hammer hand, laser guns, a cape and a menacing Eggman face.
Whoa, look at the size of this thing! The preteen thought, almost feeling intimidated. The head of the mech opened up and there sat Doctor Eggman in the pilot's seat, glaring at him with a sneer and slight rage. "Found you, Robuttnik McNosehair!" Bloonic retorted, "You're not escaping justice that easy!"
"I'd pat you on the back for your bravery making it here, you little shit!" Eggman snarled, "But you listen well for this will be the only time you will ever get in my way. For years, my plans for world domination have been thwarted by that blasted blue hedgehog and his pre-school cohorts. Now look at what's happening!
"I just came up with the ultimate master plan and HERE WE ARE, THE SON OF SONIC TRASHING MY SCHEMES AND FOLLOWING IN HIS OLD MAN'S FOOTSTEPS! This is it, the end of a legacy. I'm going to exterminate you and your family and finally become master of the world! Behold the power of THE EGG-SKORLEAWN!"
"The Egg Skorleawn, huh? Guess what, doc? This is your last mech you'll ever create, because when I beat you, there's a big chance you're gonna be spending a lot of time behind bars for a very long time!"
"Oh ho ho ho, I'm shaking in my pants! I DON'T THINK SO, BOY! The time for talking is at an end and its time for some crushing! Gya ha ha ha ha! Egg Skorleawn, GO! All systems at maximum power! GET A LOAD OF THIS!"
The head closed and Bloonic jumped out of the way as the mech attacked, bringing down its right fist and attempting to smash him with his mace. A turret popped out of the shoulder and opened fire on the hybrid, who yelped and ducked aside to avoid getting blasted to bits by the oncoming lasers.
BAM BAM BAM BAM! Eggman went all out, the Egg Skorleawn stomping its feet and sending shockwaves all over the room while bringing down its mace arm every few minutes in an attempt to take out the speedy hybrid. "What's the matter, Bloonic?" The doctor taunted, "Is this too tough for you to handle?"
The Egg Skorleawn activated its jet boosters and took flight, hovering in the air before coming down in an attempt to squash Bloonic, who scrambled just in time to avoid being flattened like a pancake. Wow, Eggman sure is a pushover. The kid thought, this was nothing compared to when he trained with Tails.
Missile launchers emerged out of the back of the humongous robo monster, locked and loaded, firing off several black and white homing missiles at Bloonic with the symbol of the Eggman Empire on each of them. He zipped around the room at high speed, trying to shake the missiles off his butt.
All the while, the Egg Skorleawn attempted to fry the speedy junior hero with lasers and cream him with its mace arm. Coming up with an idea, Bloonic ran between the legs and the missiles followed, hitting the shins of the mech and exploding on impact, damaging the mech at the legs slightly.
"AHRGH! YOU LITTLE-!" Eggman howled, "NO, YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY WITH IT! PREPARE TO BE FLATTENED, YOU LITTLE PURPLE FANGED RODENT! I'VE MADE IT THIS FAR IN MY ULTIMATE MASTER PLAN AND I WILL NOT HAVE MY VICTORY SWIPED AWAY FROM ME BY SOMEONE LIKE YOU!"
Furious and desperate, the doctor began pushing buttons and flipping levers like mad, going wild with the attacks. Almost every single weapons system on board the Egg Skorleawn from homing missiles to lasers and Egg Bombs deployed, Eggman seemed to be on the verge of completely snapping and extremely desperate.
Yikes, Bloonic thought, surprised to see the mad doctor going all out. He utilized his speed and other special skills to try and avoid the Egg Skorleawn's insane attacks as the bombs exploded and the missiles and lasers came at him. "Oh ho ho!" Eggman mused, "Its no use, fool! Give up!"
Quickly coming up with a plan, Bloonic raced around the feet of the gargantuan mech with the missiles fast behind him and ran up the left leg of the robot, making sure he did not get knocked off as he went for the head. The speedster reached the top, waited for the right second and jumped aside right as a missile came up.
KA BLAM! The missiles struck the head of the Egg Skorleawn, slightly damaging it and taking the pilot completely by surprise. The huge mecha stumbled around as Eggman tried to regain control over it and resume his attack on the Sonic-like hybrid hero boy. "WE'RE NOT FINISHED YET!" The doctor shouted.
Bloonic heard Chao noises from close by and spotted the captured Chao in a nearby cage, crying out to him and rooting for him, encouraging the brave hero onwards. Remembering what he'd come here for, the preteen ran at the Egg mech and attacked the legs just as Eggman was starting to regain control.
He hit the Egg Skorleawn with enough force from the homing attacks to send it toppling to the ground, all to the dismay of the mad scientist in the pilot's seat. "GRRR! NO NO NO NO NO!" Eggman screamed, "AHRGH! I WILL NOT LOSE, I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED, I WILL NOT SURRENDER!"
Too bad, doc. Bloonic thought, You're losing again and this time, there's no escape from ending up in custody. Just before the would-be world ruler could get the mech back on its feet, the junior hero spin dashed at the Egg Skorleawn, smashing the legs and the arms and completely trashing the mech all over.
"AHHHHRRRGH!" The hedgehog-vampire hybrid heard the doctor rage as the machine began crumbling, "I HATE THAT SPEEDY VAMPIRE HYBRID HEDGEHOG!" KA BLAM KA SMASH! Bloonic landed on the ground in the superhero landing, posing heroically while, behind him, the Egg Skorleawn fell to pieces and Eggman fell out.
"Game over, Eggman! Better luck next time if there ever is a next time even though there might not be!" The courageous son of Sonic and Vampirella quipped, lagging his finger and sticking his tongue out, before smashing apart the nearby cage to free the excited Chao inside. The creatures swarmed Bloonic, hugging him.
"Yes, yes." The fanged hedgehog hybrid said to the Chao, who were cooing excitedly and calling him their hero, "I know. I'm awesome, thanks little guys." Eggman was pounding his fist on the ground, snarling with rage. "D'oh, I can't believe this! I WAS CLOSE TO VICTORY THIS TIME!"
"As for you..." Bloonic turned his attention to Eggman, grabbed some rope and tied up the doctor before lifting him up with all his strength and ran out of the room down the hallway with the Chao right behind him as Egg Base Alpha began to rumble with explosions, its self destruct mechanisms activated automatically.
Taking the elevator that lead up to the upper levels of the base, the brave boy and his small creature buddies ran through the halls and evaded the traps and leftover enemies from earlier. All the while, the tied up Eggman growled angrily and struggled against the ropes, attempting to free himself and escape.
Up ahead, the exit loomed. Getting out was going to be the hard part, the explosions were getting more intense and metal parts were falling everywhere, not to mention that the whole base was about to explode. Bloonic couldn't give up, he couldn't bare the thought of his parents being upset.
Gathering all of his strength, he picked up speed and ran faster through the explosions, broken parts and the chaos until he made it out of the self-destructing Eggman base and out into the woods, heading right for the mountains where he and the Chao found his parents waiting for them just as Egg Base Alpha exploded.
Bloonic put down Eggman, gasping for breath as he dropped to his knees. He'd just used a lot of energy and was going to have to drink blood and water as well as milk in order to replenish his energy. At least he wouldn't pass out, nonetheless, Sonic and Vampirella came over and engulfed him in a giant warm hug.
"Dude!" The senior hero exclaimed, "What you just did was both reckless and awesome, not only did you save the Chao, you kicked Eggman butt and captured him as well. Nice job, Bloonic!" Sonic hugged Bloonic tighter until the hybrid groaned, "Hey, gonna break somethin' if you're not careful!"
"Oops, sorry dear." Vampirella said, she and Bloonic's old man pulling away before giving him another soft hug. On the ground close by, Eggman continued to struggle in the rope as he saw the scene. "How touching!" The doc snarled, "Just what are you fools waiting for, you have me in your custody, finish the job!"
The sight of Eggman bounded up put a smile on Vampirella's face as she looked at Sonic and their son, "I think we know what to do with him." She pulled out a phone and dilled some numbers, making an important call to none other than G.U.N and let them know that Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik had been captured.
Waiting didn't take long, a small task force from G.U.N, who'd been in the area, arrived and were soon taking Eggman away in a vehicle so the doctor would be transported to a maximum security prison ran by the United Federation. Rouge and Shadow were with the group and stayed behind to talk with the family.
"Not bad, kid." Shadow said as he pat Bloonic on the head after he'd told them of what went down, "Not bad at all, great job capturing the doctor and finally making sure he was brought to justice."
"A great job indeed." Rouge chimed in, agreeing with the black hedgehog, "Especially for a young hero in training. Oh, are you thirsty? Here's some water." The bat gave Bloonic a bottle of water and he drank it before drinking Sonic's blood.
The Chao nearby were cooing and chattering happily, rejoicing the defeat of Eggman and their salvation from being used as world domination tools. None of them would forget this. After hanging out on the hill with the Chao for a bit, Bloonic and his family went home to relax in the aftermath of another intense battle...
Yeehaw, the Eggman's been beaten and will be in jail for a good long while. Looks like the long time Sonic-Eggman conflict's over for now, time to rest until the next big baddie threat comes to town.
