Chapter Eleven
The Anacondrai Tomb
7 Years Earlier…
They were hungry. "WE LONG FOR FOOD! THE ANACONDRAI SHALL BECOME AN EXTINCT SUBSPECIES OF THE SERPENTINE IF WE DO NOT FEAST!" General Oharma announced. The Anacondrai had been trapped in this tomb for almost 30 years now, and they had become hungry. The anacondrai were a special type, and could preserve food and liquid inside their bodies to survive, but in their case at the moment, the anacondrai had run out of their preserved food. The anacondrai were… dying. All except for one, a one so slithery no one understood him. He was like a drug dealer, but a snake. His name was Pythor. He wanted to leave this forsaken tomb, and he knew he would find a way. He just didn't know when. Years went by, and more and more of the anacondrai died off, all except for Pythor. They had tried to eat each other, they were forced to become cannibals, and Pythor was the only one left because no one would dare to go near him. And Pythor sat for another year. Alone. Thinking about how he would escape. And then he heard it. The entrance to the tomb OPENED. He hid behind a large rock, and when he peered out from the side, he could see a child…
Present Day
Lloyd didn't touch the Blind Eye. He was afraid. Darkness flowed around it, and Lloyd thought it was from the dark power his grandfather had taken from the Overlord to deplete his power. But he was wrong. When he finally gained enough confidence to hold it in his hands, he realized it was full of memories of everything the Eye had been through. The first battle where the First Spinjitzu Master fought the Overlord with the Blind Eye. Where the serpentine lived out the rest of their lives before extinction. And now the ninja finding it. Lloyd could see himself in the gem. "Damn I look good." He said. "Guys, I found the Bling Eye." He told the team. "Woah!" Kai said and the team ran over to check out the gem. Jay seemed happy but also scared. Lloyd could feel the energy of it as he held it in his palm. "Guys, we have a way to defeat him. We can defeat the King of Shadows." Lloyd said. "Who cares. We lost Zane. We lost Wu. We already lost so much. There is no need to even try." Kai said. Lloyd seemed surprised. "What are you saying?" He asked. Kai turned around and began walking away. "I'm saying that I'm done being a ninja. I quit." Kai said, and walked out of the cave. And no one tried to stop him. Lloyd turned around and opened a portal to Ninjago, and everyone walked through. Except for Nya and Lloyd. They took one last look at Kai, and walked in.
It was quiet. Zane was covered in some rocks and wood from the crash. "Ugh. P.I.X.A.L, are you there?" Zane asked. "YES, Zane. I am Here." P.I.X.A.L said, and Zane was relieved that someone was there with him. He tried to move one of the rocks out of the way, but another rock fell down and hit him in the chest. He fell back down and caught his arm under another rock. A smaller rock fell down and hit Zane's head. "OW! P.I.X.A.L, are you alright?" He asked, but P.I.X.A.L didn't respond. "P.I.X.A.L!" He yelled, but it didn't matter. P.I.X.A.L was out of his head. And he couldn't do anything about it...
