I am no the best dialogue writer, never have been... but I am trying.

Danzo Is basically an Abusive boyfriend to the Leaf. He just reminds me of that kind of character with his doing terrible things because he loves them instead of actually doing positive things and seeing the positives within the village he only sees the negatives and pointed out constantly and it's really really backwards things and an act to showcase how much she loves the village. Weird comparison but it's something that popped in my head

The old man jerked awake as the seal took effect fully, like a magnetic pull on his chakra, he moved as Naruto did and because Naruto was not talking neither was he. Naruto had no interest in the man's screams, that wasn't what he was there for. He was there for the man's worthless life, to give it value for the short few minutes he would manage. He did however relish in his fear, awful as that was to admit. There was something awe inspiring like causing that kind of fear in a stranger... it was a powerful feeling.

"One more thing before you become a sacrifice." Naruto pulled out a new seal, one of he and his mother designed together for a malicious purpose. He threw it on the ground, enjoying the sight if it expanding into a full blown matrix the moment it appeared. He could smell his blood in the ink, and knew it would link whomever stepped in it to him, body and soul. Giving them access to his mindscape but no power while inside.

Reaching around, Naruto made the old man pick up the mask and slowly put it on his face.

Then the pain started, intense agony burning through his chakra coils, Naruto almost fell to his knees as it smacked into him body. "Damn it!" He and the old man echoed each other as the jutsu kicked in. He felt the presence, the primal consciousness of the Shinigami brushing against him and he realized that he was dealing with an entity that, in only the fragment he was connected with, was more powerful then the half of Kurama he currently had in his body by a value of more then a hundred. Whatever it was, be it truly a god or not, it was not to be trifled with.

Shaking, Naruto managed to settle himself just in time to watch as the Shinigami appeared. A purple skinned goblin looking beast with white hair and robe, holding in it's mouth of sharp teeth a small knife. It actually smiled for a moment while pulling out it's knife, before slitting open it's belly.

Naruto fell to his knees this time, as did the old man, as horrendous agony exploded across his stomach where the god had cut itself. Naruto did not bleed but the man before him did, his eyes filling with even greater fear from behind the mask. There was no time to worry though, for a bright blue light shot from the slit, swirling around the air before landing on the seal Naruto had just laid down... as if...

"As if you knew that I wanted to talk to him?"

The Shinigami smiled. "Why of course I knew, Uzumaki." Then it vanished, the ritual completed as the man it was possessing died, leaving Naruto and the glowing soul of his father alone.

Sitting down, Naruto entered his mindscape to see a very confused Minato Namikaze looking at him with nothing but shock... two times over.

"What the hell?" Naruto barked out, looking at his father and a clone of him, confused as hell as to what was happening. "Who are you, why are there two of you?"

His mother's presence, comforting and warm as always, eased his tensions entirely. "He placed himself in your seal as I did. When you brought his soul here, it drew out the chakra he left behind." She walked over to him, placing a hand on Minato's stunned cheek... Then punched them both so hard they flew across the mindscape and into a wall making dual impressions. "That is for making him a Jinchuuriki, and for the life he had to live. Now merge so we can have a full discussion."

Almost as if in tune with her words, the clone of his father wavered into chakra, merging with the soul of his father. His blinked, his eyes widening. "Kushina, you... you are teaching him to hate! I thought you believed in love, that it would be what a Jinchuuriki needs."

"We do need love, but we also need hate. Hate allows you to not be controlled or abused so long as it is fueled by self love." She sighed, sitting down next to Naruto, leaning against her son. "He has all of the clone's memories... I should have told you that he was here but I was hoping he would fade away so I could tell you after he was gone."

"Why?" Naruto and Minato asked at once.

"Because, Minato, you were always Hokage more then you were my husband and his father. I admired that, still do, but that isn't what our son needs. Unlike us, you have never seen the ugly part of the village. The part that got Sakumo Hatake to kill himself, that hated me for being a foreigner and Naruto for being a Jinchuuriki. That justified so much abuse you just neve were willing to see, the part I allowed my self to ignore due to my love of you. But no more, I refuse to ignore the reality of that village. I will teach Naruto to embrace all parts of who he is, to value himself first and foremost instead of giving himself to a village that will never give itself to him."

In that moment, any resent Naruto had ever had, even if subconscious, towards his mother for her part in sealing Kurama in him... it faded away into nothing.

"Dad... "Naruto turned to his father, who was still staring stunned and hurt at them. "If you have seen everything you know my intentions are not hostile towards the village. I don't want to be Hokage anymore but I won't hold my pain against those that haven't had a part in it. I can't blame the civilians either as they have no concept of sealing so they had no way to accurately judge me. The Ninja are another story, but that isn't your business. I just want you to know a few things, then give me Kurama's soul. Then you can leave, forever."

His father stood up, reaching out. "Naruto, I-"

"Don't care, you were a shit father and great Hokage. You chose me as a sacrifice and were willing to use a suicidal technique to imbue me with Kurama when countless other seals could have been used. I could have grown up with you, or mom or even both possibly but you choose to use the worst possible option! You could have done so much else but you chose the option that ensured my being an orphan and so for that I loathe you. I want you to suffer forever and experience what you and that shithole village put me through... but I can't so I am going to settle for taking Kurama from your belly then I am going to banish you. I won't even ask you about the man who attacked, I don't trust you to be honest with me."

Standing up, Naruto locked his father's body with a thought, a product of the seal he had cast. "Why can't I move?" Minato called out, shocked and horrified. "Please, let's talk about this, Naruto I-"

"Don't care, at all. You chose this path Minato, get over it and embrace the consequences." Naruto went threw a variety of handsigns before placing his hands on his father's belly. "Uzumaki Override- Great Seal Disruption!"

His father screamed, a horrible sound as the seal burned onto his belly. The old spiral, the sign of the Shinigami's power, spiraled and melted into a solid black hole that started to glow with a horribly familiar light.

"I AM FREE!" The fragment of Kurama bellowed before it exploded from his father in a tube of sheer chakra that spiraled into the air before slamming into the quiet fox, sitting across the room. The rest of Kurama had his turn and bellowed, his body glowing and becoming a darker orange. His muscles bigger, his eyes brighter, his already terrifying chakra exponentially growing. He radiated power on a scale that just hadn't existed before. "We are whole, finally... Thank you Naruto, Kushina. I doubted you but you came through for me."

"Of course we did, believe it!" Naruto called out, before cringing at his words. "Damn it, Mom why did you pass on the verbal ticks!"

She just laughed at him. " Cause I love you!"

"You just laugh about it, but what have you done? Naruto isn't loyal to the village and you gave him even greater power." Minato sighed, and Naruto actually almost felt bad for him.

"For an orphan who only had the village, I get it... but that just wasn't my life. I won't hurt them so long as they don't hurt me. Now go, go pass on to wherever spirits go and leave me be. I am done with you, I let go of my hate for you. I will never forget it but I do understand why you did what you did."

And with that, without ceremony, or care, Naruto shoved his father from his mind, shattering the seal and sending him of into the other life.

Only to have Kushina frown. " I thought you'd have more to say?"

"So did I, but honestly I realized when I absorbed my hatred... he isn't worth my hate. He did what he thought was best and he loved the village because it was all he had. I never had the village like he did, so I couldn't get it at first, but now that I am whole... I sort of understand. You know what I mean?"

"Not entirely, but I get why he did it... your really growing up well Naruto."

"Yeah, I am... and I forgive you for not telling me about him."

"Will you forgive me if I tell you that I would have lasted at least six months longer had I not suppressed him?"

Naruto froze for a second, considering his options... then he smiled. "I get why you did that too... so yeah. I mean I am not happy for the lie, but I get why you did it. He would have tried to stop you or made me loyal to the village or crap like that. No, it is better that he and I never really talked... too much bad blood for that. I wish I could have learned more about the Guy who attacked us but I am not in the right headspace for that. No, this is best."

Kushina sighed, and Naruto could taste her relief. "I am glad your okay with it... sigh... let's burn this guy's body and be done with it. I only have five months of training left with you and I want to make sure you are at least High A Rank by the time I leave."

"Oh don't worry mom, I think we will reach that by the time you leave."

Returning to his body, Naruto turned to the corpse and unleashed a blast of fire chakra from his mouth. A simple trick his mother had him master when he started learning to control Fire Chakra. The man instantly caught fire, exploding into glorious lights that quickly covered his apartment. Satisfied, Naruto shushined out of the building and hurried back to Jiraiya, undoing the man's seal before pretending to sleep.

A productive day if ever there was one.
