A/N: So, this actually happened to me... embarrassing, but I couldn't not put this on here. My sister did this to me, so blame her for this. XD
It was the middle of the night. Why he woke up, he had absolutely no idea.
But Kix was still up (as usual) and Rex could see him in the faint light of his datapad, headphones and all.
"Kix." he whispered, mindful of his sleeping vode. "Kix."
"Apologies, Captain. I found a science channel."
"And you decide to binge it in the middle of the night."
"Yes, sir."
"Can I look?"
"Sure."
Rex wrinkled his nose at the screen when he saw it.
The Twi'lek scientist had cereal floating in a beaker full of red liquid.
"What are you watching?"
"Shh... science." Kix said in a dramatic whisper.
Rex watched as the medic fell silent, listening to his show.
After a moment of silence, Kix turned towards Rex with a straight face. "She said it was red and white blood cells."
"Ew! That is so nasty..."
Kix stared at Rex for three seconds, then burst into laughter. "Oh, Rex... Force, vod. I was kidding." He paused the video, still trying to keep his laughing under control. "Rex, blood cells are microscopic. I wasn't even trying to trick you."
Rex facepalmed, giving a long sigh. "Go to sleep, Kix."
The medic was still laughing when Rex forlornly went back to bed.
Every few minutes for the rest of the night, Kix would let out a quiet chuckle, and a muffled "shut up" would come from the direction of Rex's bunk.
A/N: And I am done! I'm not done with the fun stuff, though! Writing away all of that angst got me in a mood for more fun stuff! Plus I read 'The Clanker Prank' last night and nearly died laughing. I was supposed to be asleep though XD
So anyway, I don't even know if this is funny, I just... wrote it.
