[FLASHBACK] -2 months ago-
{Nobody's POV}
Andy and Robert had just got off a long shift and they came home and they showered and ate dinner. They also talked about any and everything. Andy then decided to ask Robert about the one thing that was on her mind since they had been married for a year now.
A:"Babe I know this question is kind of forward.."she began
R:"Go and ask me" he said rubbing her back
A:"Are you ready for a baby?" she asked hesitantly
R:"Well it takes two to make one but you'll be carrying it and bringing it into this world so are you ready?" he asked her back
A:"I wasn't ready before but I think that since we're finally at a good place in our marriage and the station is stable enough I feel like I can"
R:"Well then it's a yes from me sweetheart we can start trying whenever your ready" he replied
*Andy then rolled over to meet his eyes and they both locked eyes on each other. She then decided to take charge and she hopped up on Roberts lap and began kissing him passionately. She then took off her long t-shirt which left her in nothing. She began to feel Robert rising against her thighs. She kissed down from his neck to the beginning of his shorts. He then took control and rolled her over so he was now on top of her. He placed kisses all over her body and he trailed down to her core and began pleasing it with his tongue and fingers. Andy then moaned out "Please baby I want you" and with that Robert dropped his shorts and inserted himself. They began moving at a slow pace and they eventually picked up speed. They kept going until they both felt like they were about to explode. Shortly after Robert climaxed into Andy and he rolled back off of her and gave her a kiss.
R:"Andy you are so beautiful"
A:"Here's to the start of our little baby" she then kissed him and cuddle him next to his warm naked body and they both feel asleep
[PRESENT DAY]
*Andy and Robert have been trying at almost every moment they had. Sometimes it was very sneaky and sometimes it was in the comfort of their bedroom. They both were just really happy to be trying and didn't care about anything else*
{Andys POV}
I woke up and I looked at my alarm clock. It wasn't the time I was supposed to be awake just yet but my body just felt weird. I went over to my bathroom and I drank some of the water that was in my bottle on the counter. I then felt really nauseous and light headed so I decided to sit on the cold tile until it subsided. While sitting there I thought of many things that could be wrong with me. I thought it could be smoke inhalation from a previous call, the flu, or just tiredness. But then I remembered what Robert and I were doing for the past two months and then it hit me. I immediately got up and closed the bathroom door to be sure he wouldn't wake up to me rustling in my drawers to find a pregnancy test. When I found the pregnancy test tears began to fall down my face I began thinking about what if we did all of that work and it comes out negative. I decided to take a deep breath and just take it and see. I took it and laid it on the counter and waited for what seemed like forever. When I finally had the courage to turn it back over I read what it said and I immediately started crying. It read positive, I was indeed pregnant and my dreams have officially been fulfilled. I sat in the bathroom for I don't even know how long I was in there before I saw Robert walking in.
R:"Baby what's wrong why are you crying" he said still trying to wake up
A:"It worked love"
R:"What worked?" he questioned
A:"Look at what I have" she gave him the test
R:"Oh my goodness" he shouted
A:"Were parents baby" she said smiling
R:"I love you so much" he said picking her up and hugging her
A:"That was a lot of work these last 2 months"
R:"Mmmm but you enjoyed it and it worked" he winked at her
A:"Promise me one thing" she said
R:"What's that one thing"
A:"Please don't treat me like a baby" she said with a sweet face
R:"I won't but be careful. At 7 months your on desk duty no matter what because that's the rules"
A:"And before you say it I'll only take small fires" she said rubbing his back
R:"Thank you. When are we telling the team?"
A:"After I get an appointment and we see the baby for ourselves. This will have to be our little secret"
R:"I like the sound of that. Remember if you ever need something come to me in my office"
A:"Ok I will make sure of that. Now if we don't get ready we'll be late so shower together?" she asked
R:"Mmmm on one thing" he said winking
A:"Really Robert your not tired of doing that"
R:"Never not when my wife looks this fine" he said kissing her
A:"We will be late if we do that"
R:"Really quick" he said pleading
A:"Mmmm" she decided not to answer him and she just turned on the shower and dropped her clothes
*They entered the showers and got dressed to go work. They grabbed their to go bag and Andy grabbed some fruit out of the fridge and they were now on their way to the station*
A:"Are you excited?" she asked
R:"Yes love I'm excited"
A:"Were going to have a lot of work to do"
R:"I know but team work makes the dream work"
A:"I'm going to get so big and swollen" she said
R:"And you'll still be pretty"
A:"Hmmmm don't say that now. I'll apologize for everything this pregnancy is going to break to you and that wallet"
R:"What's that supposed to mean"
A:"I'm saying I'm going to be moody and this baby is going to need a lot of stuff Chief"
R:"Your funny" he said kissing her hand
A:"I'm ready to see what this little bean is going to be like"
R:"I know one thing. It'll be as cute as you"
A:"Robert just drive" she said laughing
*They got to the station and they went their separate ways. Andy went up to the beanery and she got a plate of food and some orange juice. Robert went into his office and he went straight to doing paperwork.*
