CONGRATULATIONS Jason00! (part 2) Yes! In Diplomatic Immunity he says he's had a lot of time to cook since he had been suspended.
NOTE: This flying experience is truly real. You really can do this, I'm not making it up!
?-?
"So you ready for the time of your life?" Bobby asked, the men waiting at the airport.
"What on earth did I get myself into?" Myles said as the little plane landed near them.
"Aw come on, it'll be fun!" Jack replied, patting him on his back.
"Hello! Welcome! Ready for your piloting lesson?" The pilot said, getting out of the plane after he shut the engine off.
"As ready as we'll ever be." Drew replied, slightly regretting his decision.
"We're definitely ready." D assuredly replied.
"Well let's go get you acclimated!" The pilot said, walking towards the plane, the guys following.
"This is exciting, eh, Sparky?"
Jack smiled at his friend. "Definitely."
?-?
"So what do we do?" Mya asked, the two still sitting in the middle of the little forest.
"We could go to the police." Josh suggested.
Mya shook her head. "We don't have proof. They won't believe us."
"Hrm." Josh replied, agreeing.
"I got it!" She exclaimed, excited.
Josh eyed her. "I'm not quite sure I like that excitement."
Mya couldn't help but laugh. Once she calmed down, she continued. "You like fishing, right?"
"Yeah, I guess." He replied, unsure as to where this was going.
"Well, you're going fishing tomorrow, for a nice, big, juicy, goose-stealing fish."
Josh looked at her, suspicious. "What on earth do you have cooking in that brain of yours?"
Mya smiled widely. "You'll see."
"No, I want to know now." He replied, getting up, as she had already gotten up and started walking to the car.
She smiled at him. "Buy me an authentic Hawaiian lunch, and I'll tell you over it."
He smiled widely back. "Now, that idea I like."
"I thought you might." She replied, smiling at him as she got in the car.
?-?
"I hope the guys are OK." Sue said as they browsed through a novelty store.
Lucy touched her shoulder. "I thought you said we weren't going to talk about them.
"We might not talk about them, but it's a lot harder not to think about them!" Darcy replied.
"You're right. I'm worried, and my man is sitting on a bench outside!" Carla exclaimed.
"Just imagine how hard it is for me, married over 30 years, and he goes off on some crazy adventure, and I'm wondering if he will be able to see his grandchildren grow up. It's almost worse than when he was a field agent!" Donna complained.
"Guys! Come on! We were supposed to distract ourselves, not dwell on it!" Maddy complained, tired of reading the conversation through the clear masks.
The women looked at her. "What do you care? You have no man at stake here." Cathi replied.
"I just want to have fun." She replied quietly, nervous of being balled out because of her outburst.
"She's right." Tara replied. "We should get back to shopping."
The rest of the women nodded, agreeing with her.
"If they want to kill themselves, that's their problem. I have to get on with my own life." Darcy said as she went off to look at another part of the store.
"Yes, you're right. I can't go on worrying about him either." Cathi replied, following Darcy.
"I'm not sure I can stop." Sue replied quietly, staying where she was standing.
?-?
"You're nuts, you do know that?" Josh said as they were finishing up a milkshake, their desert after their Hawaiian lunch.
Mya smiled. "Thank you."
He just shook his head.
"So you'll do it?" She asked.
"Do I have a choice?" Josh asked.
Mya looked up. "Ummmm, no." She replied, smiling at him.
"Then I guess I'll do it."
"Good! We'll start first thing in the morning!"
"Just one thing," Josh started.
"What?"
"Can we invite some of the others to help?"
?-?
"Woohoo!" Bobby screamed as he flew the plane. They had their little flying lesson, and were now taking turns flying. "This is amazing!"
Jack widely smiled. He had just flown, and was now letting his best friend have the reins. "Isn't it?" He replied.
"Can we stay up here forever?" Bobby asked, looking down at the beautiful scenery.
"Sorry, but I do believe Darcy wouldn't be too happy if you did." D replied.
"But it would be amazing if we could!" Drew replied, looking out the passenger window.
"For once I agree with you, Bobby, this is amazing!" Myles replied.
"Ooh, Myles agrees with one of us. Amazing!" Jack replied. He received a glare from Myles.
"I wonder if we could investigate where the girls are," Bobby mused, looking around.
"Maybe, but you'd have to fly really low, too low for my taste." D replied.
"I guess you're right." Bobby replied, a bit disappointed. "But this is so fun anyways!"
?-?
"You're alive!" Donna exclaimed, seeing the men walk into the hotel lobby later that afternoon. They had just got there themselves, and were reserving a table for dinner that evening at the hotel's restaurant.
"Yes we are." D replied, smiling as he walked up to his wife, hugging her.
"I hope you don't have any other midlife crisis-type things planned this week." She said suspiciously after the hug.
D chuckled. "No, that's it. Now just a calm week ahead."
"If you do anything like this again," Darcy started.
"You'll love me anyway." Bobby replied, interrupting her.
Darcy slightly smiled. "Most likely."
Bobby smiled widely. "And I will love you too, even if you do some sort of crazy thing too."
Now Darcy smiled wider. "Good."
"Did you have fun?" Sarah asked, trying to make the best of things.
Drew nodded. "Yeah, we did. You shoulda been there. It was amazing seeing Maui from so high."
"I woulda gone, ya know, but it's just that I'm afraid of flying, and uh, well, it wouldn't've been as nice." Howie replied, trying to get a say in the conversation.
Sue and Jack just stared at each other. She was still mad that he did that. She tried to ignore reality the day before, but with them being gone, her anger grew.
"SORRY." He signed. She ever so slightly smiled. "ME TRY WANT. ME FINISH TOUCH, ME FOCUS YOU NOW."
She smiled a bit wider. "OK." She signed back. "ME FORGIVE YOU." He smiled. "BUT," she continued. "NEAVER DO-DO AGAIN!"
He nodded. "PROMISE."
Now she smiled widely. "GOOD."
?-?
"Hey," Mya said as she and Josh hurriedly sat down at the table at the outdoor restaurant later that evening. "Sorry we're late, but we had some things to coordinate."
"Coordinate?" Sarah asked.
Mya nodded, the both of them sitting down. "We need to ask you all a favor."
"Ooh! Can I help?" Howie asked excitedly.
Mya and Josh looked at each other. "Uh," Josh replied, unsure how to answer.
"Sure, I guess." Mya replied.
