Chapter 27 Jenny's knee surgery

Jenny's POV

While I was waiting on the waiting room, Matthew was with me.

"I'm scared Matthew." I said to him.

"I know, Jen but you'll do great." Matthew said to me.

"What if I wake up during my surgery?" I asked him.

"That won't happen Jenny, cuz you'll be out to sleep."

Matthew said to me.

"Jenny Grey?" The doctors called me as Matthew got up.

"This is Jenny Grey." Matthew said to the doctor.

" Matthew, I can introduce myself." I said to him.

"I know I'm just being a good boyfriend." Matthew said to me while kissing my cheek.

"Aww." I said to him.

"Okay Ms. Grey we are going to get you ready for your knee surgery." The doctor said to me.

" Well, I be waking up during the surgery?" I asked him.

" No, I'll make sure that won't happen." The doctor said to me.

"So, I'm the surgeon who will be doing the operation on your knee. During this surgery, you will be put to sleep under anesthesia.

"And that's where I come in." The anaesthesiologist six to me.

" But I'm scared, I never had surgery before this, this is my first time." I said to them while crying.

" Jenny, sweetie it's going to be okay." Matthew said to me.

" No, it's not going to be okay. Because I might wake up during the surgery, and I'll feel a lot of pain." I said to him.

" Jenny you will with your pain when you wake up, but during the surgery you won't. Because you'll be asleep. I promise you when you wake up Jake, Izzy, Cubby, Princess, baby Jay, and I will be there when you wake up." Matthew said to me.

" What about my friend Laquan?" I asked him.

" I don't know about him, but the rest of them they will be there." Matthew said to me.

" Anyway Jenny, are you ready?" The doctor asked me as he came in.

"Wait, you're taking me to do the SURGERY NOW?" I asked him.

"Yes!" the doctor said to me.

"Yeah, I guess so." I said t hi as they rolled my bed ut of y room and they took me to the operating room.

"I love you, Matthew!" I said to him.

"I love you too Jen." Matthew said to me as I was now gone.

Matthew's POV

As I decided to wait in the waiting room I sat down on a char while waiting for my girlfriend's surgery to be done.

Jenny's POV

Ax we arrived into the operating room, the doctors placed me onto the operating table and placed a blue sheet over me.

"Okay Jenny we are going to start. But first can you count down from 10 to 1 please?" The doctor asked me as I started counting down.

"10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2..." Out.

Jake's POV

As Izzy and i were planning on Cubby's surprise birthday party, I was budgeting for hoe much stuff we need for our little brother's party.

"Jake, whatcha doin?" Izzy asked me as she was sounding like Isabella Garcia's apparel from that popular TV show Phineas and Ferb.

"Just budgeting for the stuff you need for Cubby's 10th birthday party.

"Okay so, we need to get a DJ, buy forks, spoons, knifes, disposable plates, bowls, a table cloth and a folded table." I said to her.

" So, how much will that cost us?" Izzy asked me.

" Mostly for the utensils and the other steps basically about five bucks. But for the folded tables and a DJ, that's going to be hard." I said to her.

"I'm sure we can find a used folded table Jake at a store." Izzy said to me.

"I'll go to the back and deposit maybe 100 bucks to get all the stuffs." I said to her.

"Jake, we're just going to the store and buying the stuff that we need for Cubby's 10th birthday party." Izzy said to me.

"I know, but but the hardest thing I'm worried about right now, is finding a DJ." I said to her.

"Jake well find a DJ, before Cubby's birthday party." Izzy said to me.

"I hope so, or else his party is going to be a total bust." I said to him.

"Okay so now, let's think about the food and beverage for the buffet, Izzy." I said to her.

" Okay Jakey wakey!" Izzy said to me as I smiled.

" Okay so maybe we can have crisps, mM's, candy lollipops, Doritos, sausage rolls mini sausage party rings, cookies, Smarties, chocolate bottoms, and him and she sandwiches. I'll just make you ham sandwiches Izzy since you love those." I said to her.

" Well yeah, because I don't like cheese." Izzy said to me.

" Oh, and maybe we can have make your own burritos." I said to her.

"That's an awesome idea Jake, I just put meat on mine." Izzy said to me.

"Even though this is Cubby's birthday party, you can put whatever you want on yours." I said to her.

"Oh don't forget cupcakes and pizza Jake." Izzy reminded me.

"Thank you for reminding me, I'm putting that on the list right now." I said to her.

"So, I was suggesting that we should make chilli curry, for the buffet, Izzy." I said to her.

" I agree with you on that Jakey wakey." Izzy said to me as we heard Cobby come downstairs.

"What are you guys doing?" Cubby asked us as he was curious on what we were doing.

" Oh, just bills." I said to him.

"May I see these bills please Jake?" Cubby asked me as Izzy turned to him.

"I have an idea Cubby, why don't you go visit Jenny in the hospital." Izzy suggested to him as I agreed.

" But Jenny's still in surgery." Cubby said to her.

"Jenny will appreciate the support Cubby." Izzy said to him as he went to go visit Jenny at the hospital.

"That was close." I said to Izzy as we both let out a sigh of relief.

" Anyway, for the drinks we should have Capri, Sun, Lucozade, Blackcurrant, coke, Pepsi and Fanta." I said to her.

" What kind of birthday cakes do we get for Cubby Jake?" Izzy asked me.

" I'm order one online, to find the perfect birthday cake Cubby." I said to her.

"And I think the last thing we should talk about, is the decorations." I said to her.

" Okay, we will need disco lights, birthday balloons, streamers, a happy birthday Cubby banner with his picture on it, and a huge 10 balloon to set by the DJ." I said to her.

after we discussed everything that we need for Cubby's 10th birthday party that's going to be held at the dance studio, we went to the hospital to see Jenny with our kids as we saw Laquan.

"Hey you guys going to go visit Jenny?" Laquan asked us.

" Yeah we're just about to go there, what's that in your hand?" I asked him.

" Flowers, and a balloon that says get well Jenny." Laquan said to me.

"Aww." Izzy said to him.

Anyway, as Laquan Izzy and I along with the kids finally arrived at the hospital, we all went into the waiting room where we saw Matthew.

"Oh great why'd you bring Laquan with you guys?" Matthew asked us.

" Watch it Matthew, I'm still upset about what you did to me." Laquan said to him.

"Are those flowers, and the get well soon Jenmy balloon for me?" Matthew asked him.

"No, they are for Jenny, not for you." Laquan said to him.

"oh so you do have a thing for Jenny." Cubby said to him.

"Cubby, shut up." Laquan said to him.

once Izzy and I took a seat on the chairs with our two kids on our laps, Laquan and Cubby were going back and forth at each other.

"All right, that's enough you two." I said to them.

"cubby don't embarrass him, and Laquan we know you don't have feelings for Jenny." I said to him.

"Yeah because I'm a 20 year old man and she's a 14 year old teenager.. and that's just going to be weird." Laquan said to me.
