Wednesday 8th September Topaz POV
I was sleeping until...
"KIDS GET UP! YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE!" Dad yelled making me jump out of my skin.
"Well then Edward. You should have yelled at us earlier!" I said with sass.
"Don't you give me sass Topaz Marie Cullen." Dad warned. I rolled my eyes and got ready for school.
"Kids! Time to leave!" Daddy called and I walked down the stairs and got my bag tiredly.
"Hunter go get in the car." Daddy said to Hunter. I tried to walk past him but he stopped me.
"Dad! Move! I have to get going!" I said trying to get past him again.
"No. You will wait. Stop this attitude right now or I won't be afraid to call the school and tell them that you're sick and then you can do all your work here." Dad warned sternly. I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever." I said.
"Alright then. Go up to your room." He said and I walked up to my room. I heard him talking on the phone to the school and said how I would do my work at home. Then I decided to call Rachel and tell her why I wasn't at school.
"Hello?" She answered.
"Hey Rach, it's me." I whispered.
"Oh Hi Topaz, why are you whispering?" She asked.
"Because I gave my Dad attitude he told me that I have to work at home so I can't be at school. And to answer your question I am whispering because Dad is taking away all my electronics and stuff. I need you to tell the others." I said and we talked a bit more before I really had to go since I head Dad come up the stairs.
"What are you doing?! You're supposed to be working!" He scolded.
"No! What are you doing?! You're supposed to be taking Hunter to school! I guess he will get detention for being late! Yay! Not me for once!" I said with sarcasm.
"Topaz! Get out your Trig book and work!" He yelled.
"No. How about that Edward?" I said getting up from my chair and smirking. I crossed my arms over my chest.
"God! Get your ass on that fucking chair now!" He roared making Mom come up to my room.
"Topaz! Just listen for once." She sighed.
"No! Anyways what's it to you?! You weren't even here Mom!" I yelled.
"I am getting Dad." Mom said and rang Grandpa. After more sass talking he arrived.
"Topaz Marie Cullen!" He roared coming up the stairs.
"What?" I asked flicking my hair like Auntie Rose.
"Don't talk to me like that! I will have Uncle Em tutor you for today and if you say one bad word or anything I swear to god I will beat your fucking ass until it's beet red!" He roared. Fuck he swore, he actually swore. I thought. Dad gave me a disapproving look.
"Fine, fine." I said putting my hands up innocently.
"Uncle Em is on his way. Behave." Grandpa warned.
"Sorry." I whispered.
"It's alright just don't do it again." Daddy said and gave me a hug.
"Oh no! I have gymnastics!" I screeched. I couldn't miss that today!
"Sorry sweetie. But you're going to have to miss that. But you can use the gymnastics equipment that we got for you for your birthday! It's in the basement." Auntie Alice said bounding into the room.
"Ok. Now can we just get work done so I can do gymnastics?" I asked smiling.
"Alright. Mr McCarty is here!" Uncle Em announced.
"Finally! Let me grab my books! Hunter, grab yours too." I said, Hunter nodded and ran to the hallway to grab his stuff. He's only in the start of 3rd Grade and he comes home with as much homework as I do. He has my old teacher Miss Reed except now she's Mrs Reed, she got married.
"Alright guys, lets go back to the big house. Then we can go into the teaching room." Uncle Em said. By the way the teaching room is where me and Hunter go when we do homework or if someone needs to tutor us if we're naughty and can't go to school. It's a lovely room, very comforting. We got to the house and got lots of stares from the others.
"Geez! Calm down!" Hunter said trying to ease the obvious tension. I think it helped a bit but not a much. We went up to the teaching room and I set down all my books; Math, English, Science, History, Spanish, Trig, Technology, The Arts, Biology, Government, Geography, Chemistry, Physics and Art. Hunter only had one book. That is so unfair.
"Topaz you can do some Trig, Hunter you can do some Math." Uncle Em said, I groaned. I opened my Trigonometry book and worked on the first question.

I don't understand this at all. I put my head on the table as a few tears fell down my cheeks. I hate Trig!
"Topaz? You ok?" Hunter asked from beside me.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I said wiping away my tears.
"Let me see that." Hunter said and I pushed the book closer to him.
"Oh My God! That looks like the hardest question ever!" He said loudly, sounding utterly shocked.
"Yeah," I answered. "It's extremely difficult." (Keep in mind that Topaz and Hunter both have learning difficulties so some questions that are easy for readers they are like x100 for Topaz and Hunter.)
"Can I have help Mr McCarty?" I asked Uncle Em.
"Yeah, what do you need?" He asked sitting on the chair beside me. He read the question and started helping.
"So the answer is θ= 7π6, 11π6, 19π6, 23π6?" I asked and he nodded.
"Wow! That sounds like hell! I never want to be in high school!" Hunter said sounding worried and afraid. I heard laughing from downstairs, Hunter went bright red.
"It's ok. When you get in High School I will have done this so I can help." I said smiling.
