Author's Notes- I don't own Dragon Ball Super. The show and manga were created by Toei Animation and Akira T. Here's chapter twelve of the story. Just a heads up, I never got to scripting an accurate story that might be okay for this. My first thoughts were going to be a wishing story, a dreams story, or a parallel dimension story. I hope that this story is enough to keep you entertained. Enjoy!
Cabba's Outrageous Missions: Chapter Twelve- "One Big Confusion"
Planet Sadala, Sadala Defense Academy (Principal's Office)
In the principal's office, the secretary is typing some documents for the science lab and other classes. Lessons and experiments are created by the secretary of the office. On the right side of the secretary's desk, a hallway that has two rooms. The one of the left is the vice principal's office. Victoria, the vice principal is working on the upcoming events for the semester. She has been working hard, due to the dark circles around her eyes and bags forming under them. She's a sectorian, meaning that she is picked by the king of Sadala to be the next vice principal, since the previous one was expelled. On the right of the hallway is the principal's office. His name is Toma and he's the leader and founder of the school. He makes sure that the school and it's students are safe. He's now talking to a new sectorian student. His name is Trent. He wears a brown outfit under his armor, has black, short hair, and has ember eyes. Trent stares at the principal, waiting for him to ask a question.
Toma: (Clears his throat) Trent was it? I'm glad that you're enrolling into our school for the greater good. I'll be grateful to put you in a good team for the semester. (Sliding the document to Trent)
Trent: That's very gracious of you to do that for me. I'm humble to be enrolled in this fine school of yours. (Writing the document)
Toma: We don't want any more sectorians to be hurt on Planet Sector. They're at a long war with the cyraxians, hoping that it would end, before it gets worse. (Seeing Trent finishing the documentation)
Trent: Done! (Sliding the document back to Toma)
Toma: Good! You can go outside and see the secretary. She'll show you to your group for this semester. Hope that you do good in this school! (Waving good bye)
Trent: (Getting up, bowing, and turning to the door) Thank you sir.
Trent leaves the principal's office and walks down the hallway. He had a sinister smile on his face, meaning that he's up to something. The smile disappears, when he reaches the secretary desk. He grabs the document and heads out to his group.
Planet Insectoid, Middle of the East Forest
Cabba's team has been asked to go to Planet Insectoid to get a special item that can allow a person to talk to insects or animals. Cabba, Romaine, and Frites had been in the forest for a while. About ten to fifteen minutes. Limo is in the ship, waiting for them to return. He can't go with them, due to the planet's inhabitants being humanoid insects. He's afraid of insects, either they're dangerous or not. Outside of the ship. The forest looks like an enlarged area of grass, making the ship more smaller. From within the forest, a worm crawls out of there. It's the size of an actual dog, even acts like one. Coming out of the forest, after the worm was a large, green caterpillar female insectoid. She's with her pet, in search of an important person.
?: Hey Berry! Do you see anything?
Berry: Woof! Woof! (Shaking it's head)
?: It's okay. We'll find him. (Hearing something) Huh! What was that?
Berry: (Looks at the direction of the noise, before whimpering)
?: Berry? What's wrong? (Looking at the direction of the noise)
The noise is coming from the left side of the forest. The caterpillar girl and her pet worm walk towards the noise, not knowing what the threat will be. Back in the ship, Limo's still waiting for the team to come back. He closes his eyes, leans back into his seat, and thinks of the time, when he met Masa.
*Flashback- (A few days ago)
Limo: (Blushes) Uh...H-Hi.
Masa: H-Hi. Sorry for bumping into you. I was running away from someone. I didn't want to be in their team this semester. (Looks at Limo) You look different. I've never seen a large saiyan before.
Limo: (Nervously laughs) Wow. Y-You really think that I'm the only large saiyan here. (Rubbing the back of his head)
Masa: You look cute, when you blush. I've never see a saiyan blush like that either.
Limo: (Face turning red) Ugh...Ahhh… (Closes his eyes)
Masa: (Making a worried expression) A-Are you okay? I didn't say anything bad. Did I? (Hear some fart sounds) Huh? (Smells something bad) Ugh!
Limo: Sorry! When I get really nervous, I fart out some gas. It's embarrassing!
Masa: (Covers her nose) It's fine! It's your first time talking to a girl. I get it.
Limo: (Nervously smiles) (She's really cute from up here. Maybe being large isn't a bad idea.)
*Flashback ends
?: AAAAHHHH!
Limo: (Opens his eyes) Huh! What was that!? (Looks at the door) Someone needs my help! (Gets up, walks to the door, and hold onto the door handle for a few seconds) But...They're humanoid insects. (Shaking in fear) I-I can't go out there and be scared of the monster and the victim. (Taking a deep breath in and out) I have to do it!
Limo opens the door and runs out of the ship. He sees a long centipede like creature chasing a large worm like female to a corner. He distracts the monster by shooting some energy blasts at it. The creature feels some pain from the energy blast, thus turning his gaze at the person. Limo is shaking in fear, thinking of another way of dealing with this creature. The centipede charges at Limo, ready to strike. Limo just stands there, still shaking in fear. He's done for, until a purple energy wave hits the creature, causing it to fly to the other side of the forest. It's Cabba's Galick Cannon that flew the centipede away. He looks at Limo, who's frozen in fear. He later looks at the large caterpillar woman, who's lying on the ground, probably fainted from the creature almost killing her. A big worm is cuddling her, trying to wake her up. Cabba thinks of bringing the person onto the ship and to Sadala for recovery, but he gets distracted by Romaine, telling him that they got the item. Before coming to the ship, Cabba grabs the caterpillar woman's body and carries her to it. The worm follows him, in order to stay with the caterpillar woman. The ship leaves Planet Insectoid and goes back to Sadala.
Space, Cabba's Spaceship (Twenty-Five Minutes Later)
In the medical room, Limo and Cabba are looking at the caterpillar woman on one of the operating beds. She's still unconscious, so she's lying there for a reason. Limo is observing the woman and is surprised that she doesn't look that terrifying to him. She looks like a human, but much flabbier and has less caterpillar designs. He thinks of why he didn't save her, if he isn't afraid of that centipede creature. After the worm barks, the caterpillar woman wakes up, seeing the ceiling lights. She quickly sits up, looking at Cabba and Limo. She gets scared for one moment, but Cabba calms her down.
Cabba: (Holds out his hands) You're fine! You were unconscious and a giant centipede was about to attack you. Luckily we were there in time to save you. (Smiles)
?: T-Thank you! Have you seen a blue, large caterpillar man? (Shows him a picture of the person)
Cabba: (Tilts his head) No. I haven't. We just left the planet and should be heading back to Sadala.
?: AHHH! DAD! I can't leave the planet! I have to find my dad, before he gets hurt! (Gets off of the operating bed and leans forward to Cabba) Will you get me back to the planet and save my dad!? Please!
Cabba: (Nervously sweats) I-I don't know! We just came to that planet for an item. But...I don't want a person to feel sad. Okay! We'll help you find your dad! (Smiles)
?: You will!? Yes! (Hugs Cabba) Thank you so much!
Cabba: (Stuggling to breathe) I can't...breathe! (Face gradually turns red)
?: Oh! (Lets go of Cabba) Sorry! I got excited.
Cabba: Okay. You'll stay in here, since we don't have big enough seats for you to sit on. Limo? (Looks at Limo)
Limo: (Looks at Cabba) Y-Yes Cabba?
Cabba: Stay here with our visitor. She might need some company. (walks out of the medical room)
Limo: (Looks at the caterpillar woman, before shaking in fear) GAH!
?: (Touching Limo's stomach) You look more like me, but more human. What's your name?
Limo: M-My n-name is L-Limo. (Looks at the opposite direction) What's y-your name?
?: My name is Denise. The worm that's rubbing it's head on your leg is Berry. (Points at Berry)
Limo: Huh? (Looks at Berry) AHH!
Denise: It's fine! He just likes you! (Smiles)
Limo: I-I'm sorry. I'm afraid of bugs. They make me feel squeamish.
Denise: Don't worry. You'll learn to appreciate him and me along the journey. My dad would like to meet you.
Limo: (Blushes, while smiling) Of course! (Why am I talking to an insect!? This is wrong in my opinion! Although Denise doesn't look that scary, I guess me and her will be fine.)
Limo and Denise talk for a while in the medical room. In the controls room, Cabba turns the ship around, in order to go back to Planet Insectoid and save Denise's dad from danger. He can't let another person be parent-less. He knows how much pain feels, after losing one parent. He sees the planet. The ship might approach the planet in a few minutes, so he puts it on auto-pilot.
Planet Insectoid, Near East City (Twenty Minutes Later)
Cabba, Romaine, Limo, Denise, and her pet, Berry walk through the forest, approaching the city. Frites is told to stay, since he almost caused the team to be in danger in that cave, while retrieving that item. Once they arrive at the city, the team is surprised by how the city looks. Large household items being used as building materials and insectoids walking around like normal people. Limo is the most surprised, since he's afraid of bugs, but he isn't. He is liking the city's environment. The team walk into the city, in order to find anyone, who seen Denise's dad anywhere. Cabba is looking from right and left, while Romaine is looking straight on. Limo is just holding Denise's hand, for which is weird, because he should be screaming by the tops of his lungs from this. Berry is walking beside Denise, watching the two enjoying each other. Denise sees a butterfly female with rainbow wings by the supermarket store. She points to her, tells Cabba that she's an old friend of her dad, and run towards her. The others follow her. The butterfly female, named Honey, sees Denise and a few new visitors and smiles.
Honey: (Waves her hands) Denise! It's been a while since I last saw you with your father!
Denise: (Waves her hand) It's been at least six months since you, me, and Dad last talked. So, have you seen him? I'm looking for him.
Honey: Well...I've heard that he was in the furthest east forest looking for an item that can talk to other animals. He said that he was going to use it for research, but that was the last thing that I've heard, before he hang up.
Cabba: An item that can let people talk to- Wait a minute! (Pulling the item out of his pocket) You mean this item right here! (Showing the item to Denise and Honey)
Honey: (Makes a surprising expression) That's the item that I was talked about a few seconds ago! How did you get that item!? (Points at the item)
Cabba: It was in the west side of the forest and in a cave. Denise's father went to the east side of the forest and went into a trap, as I've heard, before starting the mission.
Denise: Then my dad is really in trouble!? We have to save him, before he gets trapped!
Honey: I'll come with! He's a long friend of mine, so I should know where the east side of the forest is.
Cabba: Good!
Limo: (Looks at Denise) (She really cares for her father. I wished that I had the same confidence than my father had. If he were still around, he would be a good supporter.) (Smiles) I'll help!
Cabba: (Looks at Limo with a raised eyebrow) Really? You know that there will be giant insects. Are you okay?
Limo: I know that I'm afraid of insects, but if a person is in need, no matter what they look like… (raising his fist in the air) A soldier is always willing to help that person!
Cabba: (Smiles) Okay! Let's save a father!
The team, along with Honey go to the east side of the city to save Denise's dad from dangers. Limo is a bit confident in what he's doing. He knows that he's afraid of bugs, but he needs to be brave like his father. He has to conquer his fears. Five minutes later, the team arrive at a field with big holes. This is the trap that Honey and Cabba talked about. If anyone gets into one of these holes, then there's no way out of the holes, unless the insectoid is an aerial type. Honey ask the team to be careful and not fall into one of the holes. Cabba and the rest make a smirk expression, knowing that they can fly and go over the holes. Cabba tells Limo to carry Denise and Berry with him, while he and Romaine go with Honey to look for Denise's dad. Limo carries Denise in her arms, while Berry is carried in Denise's hands. The team and Honey fly into the air and look down at the holes, seeing if Denise's father had gotten himself in one of the holes. Honey sees noting so far. Cabba and Romaine don't see him either. Limo wants to help, but has to carry Denise in his arms. He blushes, thinking if Masa were in his arms, saying, "It's the nicest thing that you've ever done to me!" He would be happy to hear those words. Denise hears a voice from the left side of the east area. She looks to the left and sees a large, blue caterpillar man on the ground, crying for help. Denise tells Limo and the rest of the team that her father is on the left side of the east area. They see the man and flies down to him. Once they got to him, he warns them to get out of here, before the creature gets to them. The creature was slowly getting towards the team. Limo was the first one to hear the creature get close to them and tells Denise to get her dad and hold onto him. Cabba senses an evil presence and takes Berry in his arms and flies up. The team and Honey do the same and fly up into the air. They see a giant black widow spider coming out of the field. It screeches in anger, wanting to eat Denise's father whole. The team flies back to the city and help Denise's father with some medical help.
Planet Insectoid, Hospital (Thirty Minutes Later)
Denise's father, who's name is revealed to be Garry, wakes up in a hospital room. He turns around, seeing Denise in joyful tears. He also sees three new visitors from the east area. He hugs his daughter and says that he's fine. He wasn't sure, if he went the right direction, so he went east. He saw nothing, but a cave of cobwebs. The black widow spider attacked him harshly and was about to eat him, if it weren't for his supplies of mutated bug spray saving him. He was able to get away from the creature and to the east area of the forest. He's proud that his daughter found him with some help.
Garry: (Looks at the team) I'm so grateful for helping my daughter find me. How can I give you in return?
Cabba: Well...(Pulls out the item) Honey said that you needed this item, Is that right?
Garry: (Gasp) That's right! How did you get the item?
Cabba: It was on the west side of the east area and in a dark cave, filled with giant poisonous silkworms. We got the item for our mission and was about to go home with it, but we saw your daughter being attacked, so we decided to help her out.
Garry: That's the sweetest thing that any visitor has ever done. You can keep the item. I'll study on another research on this planet.
Cabba: (Makes a surprising expression) Really?! We can keep it!
Garry: Let that be my gift of gratitude! You deserved it!
Cabba: (bows down) Thank you!
Limo: Thank you. Hope that you feel better! (Bows down)
Romaine: It was a pleasure! (Bows down)
Denise: (Looks at Limo) Hope that we meet again!
Limo: (Looks at Denise, Blushing) Y-Yes! Let's meet again some day! (Smiles)
After saying their goodbyes, the team goes back to the ship and flies off of the planet. Limo is proud that he set aside his fear and helped a person. He's starting to become more like his father. He's glad that he's on the right path of his true future.
