SOD: Birthday week~. Birthday week~. It's my birthday week~.

Andrew: Happy birthday, Shinn.

SOD: Arigatou gozaimasuuuuuuu.

Andrew: So, is it true?

SOD: Yep. Actually doing a birthday upload week. I have 15 chapters prepared so I may as well get most of them out there.

Andrew: Looks like I got reading to do.

SOD: Yes, my friend. Yes you do~.

Andrew: You're more happy than usual.

SOD: Well aside from this being my birthday week, I just REALLY want this story to hit 100k words because from what I've seen, there aren't many Legend of Heroes fanfics with 100k words.

Andrew: Huh. You don't say.

SOD: That and I just want to get to Thors already. Fie is calling my name as is Laura.

Andrew: I'm scared for what you have in store.

SOD: I shall please redirect you to the 10th line in the prologue.

Andrew: 10th line... prologue... screw the continuity... and the logic... SHINN!

SOD: I meant it! I'm changing the story and how things work solely for what I have in store. Which is a lot.

Andrew: Oh god.

SOD: You mean Aidios.

Andrew: Ugh, so... define changing the story.

SOD: Simple. Some things are going to happen sooner than it does in the canon and other stuff are gonna be new. Oh, and in case no one has noticed, I'm changing the ages of characters like I have for Claire and Lechter.

Andrew: Oh... okay. That doesn't sound too bad.

SOD: Oh I'm sure once we get to Thors, people are either going to find what I do interesting or flat out hate it.

Andrew: ... what? What do you mean by that...?

SOD: On with the romance- I mean fic!

Andrew: Wait! Shinn!

SOD: Lemme know what you all think and see ya tomorrow!

"Uh, Yeah. I'm always warm 24/7."

"You never get cold?"

"No. Though I do still dress in the right attire as to not stand out."

Good. I feel my heat lowering. Just Relax, Relon. Jeez!

"A wise move as to not draw unnecessary attention. Alright, ready when you are."

"You heard her, partner." With that order, they take off at a brisk pace high into the sky. The night life that is Heimdallr in full view before them.

Variations of lights litter the ground below as people seeming to be ants walk the lantern-lit streets.

(I've walked through the city at night before but from up here, it's so different.) Claire whispers, Relon shivering the slightest bit able to feel her breath against his ear.

What IS this feeling? It's driving me insane!

"Having a bird's eye view really makes a difference. Helpful for moving around too."

"Relon."

"Yeah?"

"Is the Wandering Beast truly not your father?" Furrowing his brows, he remains looking forward.

"He isn't. We look nothing alike and I never knew my parents. I was found in a dangerous place where Mister took me in. Where... he saved me from a possible future that wouldn't have turned out so well. I'll forever be grateful for all he's done for my partner and I."

"If you don't mind my asking. How can you not call him your father if he's cared for you since birth?" The sword halts in the air.

"Simple." He glances over his shoulder meeting her pink eyes. She furrows her brows as she can make out an emptiness from his sight orbs.

"How can I call the man my father if I don't even know what fatherhood is?"

He turns back leaving Claire speechless. (Hopefully at some point I can. Once I figure everything out that is.)

Relon...

The rest of their night flight was relatively quiet. Both making small comments here and there as they flew over the districts. The mood having mellowed out after that. Before long they return to Relon's balcony.

"Hey Claire." He mutters.

"Yes?" He pauses as if trying to get the right words together before sighing.

"I'm sorry... about earlier." This causing the young woman to shake her head.

"You have no reason to be. I asked, you answered. I'm the one who should be apologizing."

"But I was the one who dampened the mood."

"But I was the one who said yes to flying with you."

"True, but I enjoyed you flying with me." As soon as the words come out, Relon stops speaking.

Both gain as blush, the night clouds now cleared as the bright moonlight illuminates their embarrassment before the other as both avert their heads.

"As did I..." She mutters gaining his attention.

Taking in her nervous form, the moonlight gives an elegant appeal to the woman. One Relon is drawn to. Unable to take his eyes off of her.

"Beautiful." He unconsciously states to widen snapping his head away as she snaps hers to him.

"Did you just...?"

"S-Sorry. I didn't mean to- I mean I did! You're very beautiful! I just didn't mean stare is what I'm saying! I- I'm just going to shut up." He slides his back along the railing placing a hand over his face.

I. Am. Such. An. IDIOT! Damn these feelings. What the hell even are they?!

Out of nowhere, he feels a soft sensation grace his cheek for what feels like forever but in reality lasts only a second for the boy before ceasing. Looking to the cause, he catches Claire backing away, her blush still evident. He could swear it got more noticeable.

"That's my thanks. For today... and for that. Not one's ever called me beautiful." Her statement barely above a whisper. "I'll see you around." She quickly begins to leave.

"Uh, Claire!" He reaches out for her as she stops. "If you want, I mean if you're free tomorrow, you should come with Alfin and I to her school. Since you'll be taking over. It'd help to get acquainted with the area and class since I'll be there." He finishes having eased himself.

For a moment, no response comes.

"... What time do you leave?"

"Around seven." He answers, for some odd reason he's hopeful about this.

"I'll see you both then. Goodnight." She gives one soft smile before leaving closing the door behind herself.

All Relon can to is blink in slow repetition, his sword hovering before him. Slowly, his hand makes its way to where his heart is.

"Partner... I have another goal to add to our list." With that statement, he looks up to the white moon in all its glory. "Figure out this new feeling asap.

The Next Morning

"I see. You and the Wandering Beast took the same precautions I would. Some I didn't even think of." Claire states looking at the list handed by Relon.

"He was the bodyguard from Prince Olivert so he's used to this you could say." Relon responds.

Having awoken, he and Alfin were greeted by Claire already stationed at their vehicle. Both her and Relon sharing a normal greeting refusing to show any indication of the previous night to Alfin. Now they were on the way to St. Astraia.

"Really? I never knew." Claire blinks at the new information.

"So Relon, what did you do last night?" Alfin asks out of the blue making both teens' eyes bulge for a second.

"Huh?! Oh, uh, nothing much. Just relaxed. Right, Partner?" The sword nodding going along with the fib.

"Really?" I guess you must have fallen asleep because I came by last night and didn't get an answer. Teehee, you must have been tired." She giggles.

"Yeah. I can't thank you enough for getting me out of Mister's training." He says refusing to look to Claire. "Ready for that test?"

"Yes, I am fully prepared to ace it, Instructor Relon."

"I thought I told you to not call me that."

"Hehe, but you must admit it does fit you. Even though you're only two years older, you really act like a wonderful teacher. Maybe you should be one when you grow up!"

"That or continue to be your bodyguard." He shrugs.

"Why not both?" Claire asks.

"I don't know. It's just a thought after all. Who knows what the future will hold."

The drive soon ends as they reach the school, Alfin walking ahead of the two.

(Nice cover.)

(Thanks. Leave it to Alfin though.) He shivers, both teens sharing a smile.

Unbeknownst to the pair, Alfin is carefully listening in with a smile on her face.

...

Entering class, they situate themselves.

"Where is the Wandering Beast?"

Relon hands a pair of binoculars from the podium to her confusion.

"First building straight across." He answers pointing to the window.

Going over, she raises it scanning the building to see the very man sitting with his legs crossed giving a small wave.

"You two were certainly prepared."

"It's Alfin. We had to be. Still do in case Senate tries anything today. I doubt it but you never know."

"True. Why don't you tell me about the students?"

Relon immediately gains an annoyed expression walking to Claire before pointing at the desk next to the both of them.

"This one. Watch out for her."

"Teehee. You know Musse only cares."

"With the things she says, I question. Heavily. Considering her age." Relon sighs.

"What does she say?" Claire asks.

"She-

"I only say what comes from my heart to my dear instructor~." All look as Relon shakes his head sighing to see Musse and Elise enter.

"Oh, boy." Relon shakes his head.

"Oh..."

"Yeah. Oh." Relon comments with a sigh.

"Good morning." Both girls greet.

"Musse. Elise. Good morning." Alfin greets.

"Morning, Elise." Relon smiles to lower it and his eyes. "Musse."

"Why, greetings my dear instructor." She winks.

Shaking his head, he goes back to the podium followed by Claire.

"Class hasn't even stated and you're already at it."

(How old is she?!)

(11.) He deadpans for Claire to go wide-eyed. (Yeah. I know.)

"I'm sorry, Relon. I tried talking her out of it but she was too persistent." Elise sighs.

"It's Musse. I'm certain she'll continue this until the end of time if possible." Relon jokes writing work on the board. "Oh, yeah. You two haven't introduced yourselves to Claire. She works under the Railway Military Police. She'll also be my replacement." Both girls hearing that last part.

"Wait, you're leaving?" Elise asks to get a nod as an answer.

"Yeah. I'm handing my job over to Claire here. I'm confident she can do it."

"Then. Does that mean the incident yesterday..."

"Yeah. We took care of it."

"Then Alfin should be safe now!" Elise exclaims.

"Yes, but that doesn't mean they won't target her again." Claire explains.

"Which is why Claire is taking over while Mister and I go do some more wandering. See if we can gather any info."

"Then..."

"This will be..."

Both girls look down with solemn looks to feel a hand placed on their heads to look up seeing Relon.

"No need to be sad, girls. This isn't goodbye. It's just see you later. Right?" He between the duo, after a moment, they cheer up nodding. "Good. Now then, let's enjoy ourselves. Oh, before I forget. Elise."

"Yes?"

"One good thing did come from yesterday. A certain thing happened." He looks over his shoulder smirking with confidence for her to immediately go wide-eyed. "Don't worry. We got it under control. Right?" His sword flying out to nod.

"That's wonderful! I just hope Rean can as well."

"I'm sure he can. If need be, I just give him the same talk Uncle Victor gave me."

"What are you two talking about?" Musse wonders.

"Oh, dear Musse. That's a secret." Relon jokes putting a finger to his lips.

"My, Instructor. I never knew you held such a mysterious side. Your charms woo me yet again."

"Yup. And I'm done with that now." He flatly states earning laughs from the girls.

All except Claire who looks on at Musse. Catching this, both seem to eye the other for a moment Musse simply winking as Claire dismisses whatever thoughts were forming.

Soon class begins, Relon telling the girls his situation much to their dismay. Cheering them up, they enjoy their last day. Before long, lunch comes. The trio of students all conversing while Relon and Claire grade the class' work. Relieving himself of the paperwork, he looks at the names of the papers with a red number next to them.

Alfin Reise Arnor: 100

Musse Egret: 100

Elise Schwarzer: 100

Leave it to those three to score perfect grades.

A smile graces his lips as he glances over to Claire at the teacher's desk, Relon having opted to stand at the podium.

Whoa! She's already done? Then again, she is three years older. I shouldn't be surprised. Hmm?

Looking at where her point of interest is, he spies the girls. Musse seeming to notice the boy's attention.

"Well, Instructor? How did we do?"

"Why ask when you can guess the answer."

"Hehe, I love hearing your praise."

"Of course you do. Honestly, I'm happy. My three favorite students doing so well before I leave. Good job, girls."

"Yay, we did it!" Alfin clasps her hands with Elise's.

"Phew. I was nervous for a moment near the end."

"Hard work shows effort." Relon holds up the papers for the girls to see. "You all should be proud."

"Last time I checked, instructors shouldn't choose favorites." Claire teases standing up.

Immediately, that odd feeling returns, Relon eyes for some reason going to Musse. Her eyes seeming to scan if not calculate the boy.

"Well, I'm technically not official. More so a substitute until an official teacher is hired. So I see no harm. Not like the class doesn't know the relationship between and the three." He shrugs jokingly.

Please let that work.

He glances between the two for Musse to get up.

"But no one knows the real story, now do they?" She says. A seductive air around her as she stops before the podium eyeing Relon. "Relon~." She purrs, Elise and Alfin squealing as Relon widens.

Wait, damn it, act normal. Don't let her win!

Just as he readjusts, she continues.

"Though I'll miss our one-on-one study sessions." She leans forward, Relon taking a step. "What's wrong, Instructor? Don't tell me, you've fallen for... someone else." She glances slowly at Claire, the woman narrowing her eyes at Musse.

An unsteady silence before the room before-

"Taht's enough." Relon lightly chops the top of Musse's head, everyone looking to see no ounce of fluster apparent on the boy's face. "Why do you decide to up things the day Claire is here? Please don't go giving misinformation." He sighs. "Though I'll admit you calling me by my name like that threw me for a loop even if only for a second." After a moment of mild surprise, Musse responds.

"Hehe. Looks like I finally made you trip if only for a brief moment. Next time, I'll sink my hands around a never let go~." She winks before rejoining the girls, Elise berating her and Alfin cheering for the greenette.

"I swear, that girl." The memories of her eyes looking directly at his come to mind causing a small shiver.

"I see what you mean by her." Claire states approaching.

"She can be a handful, but she means well. Her, um, jokes just get out of hand. Hopefully that'll cease with you here."

"By the way, Instructor Relon." Musse calls gaining their attention. "You never answered my question."

"Hm? What question?" He tilts.

"Is there someone else you've fallen for?" His eyes slowly widen. "Perhaps a certain police officer?" She puts a finger to her chin innocently smiling. "I don't mind sharing~."

"Ooh!" Alfin squeals.

"Princess, please do not react to that!" Elise exclaims attempting to reduce the situation.

Attempting to come up with something, Relon's words remain stuck as he eyes the smiling Musse.

"Well?" She teases.

Opening his mouth, a voice sounds out.

"Whether we're together or not is of no concern to you. Isn't that right?" She turns to Relon.

"Huh?!"

"You do have a point. Though I am curious. Would Relon prefer a girl like me his age or someone older? Well?"

"W-Well..."

Knock knock.

All eyes turn to the door seeing Yujiro.

"Oi, kid. Come with me for a sec. Something came up."

"Sure!" Without a moment's hesitation, he dashes out as they walk off.

"Saved by Mr. Yujiro." Elise sighs.

"I think his luck has gotten better." Alfin adds.

"Boo. I wanted to hear his answer." Musse sighs. "You wanted too as well. Am I right?" The greenette glancing towards the older woman eyeing the door with mild annoyance.

Leaning against the wall, Relon lets out a sigh of relief.

"Thanks."

"Your luck with woman is something else." Relon glares up at the man. "You needed a break so I'll leave it at that. Though to make up for this, training is going to be intense once we've settled down."

"Oh yeah, where to next?"

"Home." This causing Relon to raise an eyebrow.

"Yours or mine."

"Mine."

"We're going to Celdic? Got stuff to do there?"

"Not much. At least for me. I'll tell you when we get there. If I were you, I'd get back to class. I sense a certain blue-haired beauty looking for you. See ya." He waves walking out.

"Hey!" Relon calls but Yujiro disappears behind the corner. "Wait..."

Shaking his head, Relon turns back to come face-to-face with Claire's. Both quickly jumping back.

"There you are. Did something happen?"

"No. Mister just wanted to tell me a few things. Nothing worthwhile though." He answers, both heading back to the class.

Entering, Relon takes note of the girls eating.

"Aren't those apples?"

"Yes. But when they're red and yellow, people tend to call them pippins." Musse explains.

"Pippins?" He tilts.

"Would you like one?"

"No thanks. I just had a thought. Partner." The sword floats from its sheathe. "How does the name, 'Pippin' sound?"

"Pippin?" Claire asks.

"Yeah. Something about it just... sticks. Plus it's gender neutral."

"That sounds lovely!" Alfin exclaims.

"Pippin. That is quite a unique name." Elise notes.

"What do you think, Partner?"

All eyes fall on the sword as it hovers for a moment as if pondering the suggestion. Suddenly it flies towards Relon spinning while orbiting around him.

"I take it you like that one?" He asks, the sword nodding with excitement.

"Finally, we did it!" Alfin cheers along with Elise.

"My. To think my pippins would lead to this. I feel all warm inside."

"Are you always like this?" Claire deadpans.

"Let's give it our all, Pippin." Relon extends his fist the sword tapping with the front of its handle.

That Evening - Departure

"Thank you for everything, your majesties." Relon bows.

"No, thank you. If it wasn't for yours and the Wandering Beast's help, I cannot begin to fathom what ill fate could have partaked my daughter." The queen thanks.

"Stay safe, Relon Lucinance. You too, Yujiro." The king says.

"Relon!" Alfin runs up embracing the boy.

"Don't worry princess. You'll see me before long. Until then, try to keep Musse under control for me."

"Hehe, leave it to Elise and I. Be careful on your journey." She steps back. "Mr. Yujiro, please watch over him."

"You don't have to worry, Princess. I'll keep your brother safe from harm." He grins messing Relon hair up to the boy's annoyance.

"First Cedric, then Olivert, and now Relon. My three beloved brothers~."

"Truly, you are one of a kind, Alfin."

"Hehe, as are you Relon."

"You're not wrong there... See ya soon, okay?" Both he and Yujiro step away out of the palace.

"Yes, take care. I can't wait to hear about your travels."

"Will do. Look forward to hearing them. And tell Prince Olivert thanks for me."

"Leave it to me!"

With a final bidding, they go their separate ways.

Crossing the bridge, both take off towards the the gate leading in the direction of Celdic. Landing down, they are greeted by Claire in her uniform.

"Claire? I thought you had business to attend to?"

"I did." She glances to Yujiro.

"I'll be waiting past the gate. Damn lovebirds." He mutters walking off.

"Did something hap-

Before he can react, Claire pulls him into a hug. Right in the middle of the road, his brain shuts down.

"Eh, C-Claire?!"

"Stay safe." The tenderness in her voice cutting away his tension. "Seeing someone die once is hard. Twice is too much. So please, stay alive. and come back safe."

...

So that's it...

He returns the hug.

"I don't know why every time I leave, everyone thinks I'm going to get hurt. Then again, with my bad luck, I can kinda see why." He looks away smiling at the mention. "But, I'll be fine. I worry more so for you. Holding something in isn't good for the body." She widens looking at Relon. "Take it from someone who knows. Not that long ago, I was in a much different mindset compared to what I am now. "But, letting it out helps. You feel better now, right?"

"I... I guess I do. But how-

"We both have backstories that we don't like. Just have to accept it and move on. Remember and use it as fuel to better yourself. That's what I did at least." He places a hand at the sword's handle.

"I think... I'll do that." She smiles. "You've helped me out yet again."

"You've helped me out a bunch too. On the ship and today with Musse."

The mention of Musse has her eyes go wide as a blush appears. One Relon notices.

"Claire? You okay?"

"I just remembered something..."

"Oh? What's up?"

"No. Don't worry about it. It's nothing." She attempts to wave it off.

"Huh? Now I'm curious." Relon tilts his head with crossed arms. "Come on, tell me. Maybe I can help." He smiles bobbing his head side-to-side.

"Well..." She goes into a thinking posture with a hand to her mouth, her eyes averted. "It has something to do with the others..."

"Which is?"

"Is there anyone you like?"

His jovial bobbing freezes, his eyes bucking wide as he is about to deny but catches himself from stuttering.

"Oh..." He manages out his mouth coolly. "What about you?"

"H-Huh?"

"I... don't really understand what love is. It's... hard to explain." He leans against the gate with Claire leaning across from him. "That's why I asked. I've read about different forms of love. Like I care about Mister, Pippin, and Alfin a lot it should be described as love. But, love comes in different levels."

"The way Musse describes it, she's talking about like a significant other. I've read romance novels and all they've described are caring deeply for the other. That's how I feel about everyone... About you." Claire catching that mention but remains quiet.

"In a sense, it's like the issue with not understanding fatherhood. I can't understand it to... well understand it. At least not fully. This is the reason I don't call Mister dad. If I can't understand fatherhood through experience or through research, how can I? It's the same problem with love. During last night and today, when I was with you, there were these odd feelings but I couldn't determine what. Is that love? That tightening feeling in my heart? Nothing I've read said anything about that. I can't tell." He finishes with a sigh. "Sorry. I didn't mean to rant."

He looks up to see Claire gone from her spot. A moment later, he feels a slight weight lean on him. Looking, he finds Claire leaning next to him.

"No need. Holding something in isn't good for the body." She smiles at him for Relon to return it leaning his head towards her. "Tell me, is that feeling back?"

"Is that what you're after? Just knowing if I like you?" He jokes with a soft chuckle.

"No. I can't say whether it's love but depending on how tight that feeling is, it shows how much you may care for the person."

"Oh..."

Glancing to the older girl, he takes note of her eyes closed. The scent of her hair rising to his nose.

Of course it's blueberry.

Feeling an urge swell, he acts without hesitation. He presses his lips to her cheek, the girl's eyes snapping open as the shade of red returns for Relon to step back quickly.

"Thanks." Relon walks past her stopping outside the gate, his eyes closed, his hands in his pocket, and a blush clearly visible. "You're the first to listen to me rant. As for these feelings, they've only reacted to you. Even now, I can feel the odd sensation. Hopefully by the time I return, I'll be able to tell you these feelings more accurately." He opens his eyes looking back. "If you're still interested by then that is."

"... I'd love too. I look forward to it." She leans off smiling sweetly.

"Take care, Claire. Give Lechter my farewells for me." He grins hopping onto his sword.

"You too, Relon. And I will."

With one final glance, he takes off. As his figure fades, her smile does not.

Flying after a few minutes, he spots Yujiro walking. Getting close to the ground, he hops off.

"You two kiss enough?" He chuckles.

"Nope." Relon flatly answers, Yujiro looking to the boy at the unexpected answer. "Ready for another race?"

"Ha! Eager aren't you? You do realize I was holding back, right?"

"Yeah. But it's been a over two years since then so I'm excited."

"Alright, let's test that new speed of yours." They halt, Pippin marking a line along their current path as all three line up.

"Pippin, you're getting in on it too?" It nods. "Alright!" Crossing his arms in front of himself, Relon releases a shout as the boy transforms. "Hope you're ready to lose, you two. I don't plan on holding back!"

"Ha!" He picks a rock tossing it high into the air. "Maybe now I can get serious after all! Bring it on!" Yujiro snarls, all three lowering.

Slowly, the rock reaches its highest point before it begins hurtling down. In a split moment, it reaches eye level. And with a thud, they're off. Two red streaks are all that's left in their wake.

Celdic

"Darn it!" Relon curses sliding to a halt.

Panting from exhaustion, he exits his transformation, his sword right next to him.

"Nice try, kid. Give it another five years or so and maybe you'll be able to keep up." Yujiro grins. "Though I will admit, that speed of yours is rather impressive considering it took us only an hour to get here."

"We're not... even there. So why make the finish line... this hill overlooking the highway... and not the town itself?"

"Well, I didn't want our entrance to draw so much attention. Mainly in part because I haven't told Cecily we'd be coming."

"Why not? Should you have called... so she could prepare for us?"

"No need. She always keeps a room prepared. Mainly because I always show up randomly."

"Uh, Mister. Question." Relon comments finally gaining his breathe.

"Hm?"

"Is she expecting me, though?"

"Nope. But it'll be a good double surprise." They jump off the cliff onto the road beginning their small trek.

"I guess you have a point. She does run an orphanage after all. When was the last time you saw her?"

"While you were in Legram. While doing some other work, I stopped by to see her, the kids, the townspeople, and the beasts."

"That's right. The park isn't far from here..."

"We'll pay a visit later. It's where we'll be training for the next few years."

"I should have known." He sighs to notices the few homes scattered along the path. "Did we ever come here when I was growing up?"

"You're still growing up." Yujiro gives a hardy laugh.

"You know what I meant." Relon shakes his head.

"But to answer your question; yeah. You were still an infant when we came here though. But Cecily has met you before."

"I don't know why, but I feel nervous."

"That is odd. Well, better get over it cause we're here."

Looking forward, he stares at the gate with the word Celdic overhead.

"One question? How long are we staying?"

"Don't know."

"... Wait, what?"

"What? I've don the main things I've wanted for you to do so I don't have any other places to take you."

"Really?"

"Yup. The last things we have are all here in Celdic."

"What about finding intel on Senate?"

"Sometimes waiting for intel to come to you is better than going to the intel. Besides, I've been wandering around Erebonia for the last 12 years give or take a few."

"You have a point there."

"Come on, let's get going. First stop; the mayor."

Entering the city, he takes in the quaint size.

He mentioned the city prospering. But looking around, the only big thing seems to be the market. Makes me wonder how small it was before.

"Yujiro?" Relon looks over to see an elderly man seeming surprised.

"Yo, Mayor. Been about two years, huh?"

"My! Had we known you'd be here, we'd celebrated." The men shake hands, the elderly man glancing to Relon. "And you must be Relon." He shakes the boy's hand. "Yujiro has told us a great deal about you, young man. You're his pride and joy."

"Honestly, I can't see it with how he abuses me." Relon flatly says, the elderly man laughing at the false joke.

"You weren't kidding when you told us he has quite the personality."

"I know right?! Speaking of persons, Cecily still at the orphanage?"

"Yes. She just returned some time ago."

"Perfect! Let's catch up later. We'll be in town for who knows how long."

"Yes, indeed. If either of you need assistance with anything, do not hesitate to come by." He waves.

"Thanks, Mayor." Yujiro waves, the two heading back towards the church they past.

Next to the holy structure is another noticeably large building of almost equal comparison if not larger. Across from the two buildings are some benches. A cat sleeping on one of them.

"Hey there, Null. Still sleeping I see." Yujiro greets bending over and petting the cat behind its ears.

To Relon's surprise, the cat lets out a meow before jumping onto Yujiro's shoulder walking along his back to glance towards Relon. Reaching out his hand, the cat sniffs it before rubbing against his palm, Relon smiling as he pets the feline.

"As much as I like cats, this position is really uncomfortable." Yujiro comments, Null hoping back onto the bench and curling up before going to sleep once more. "I swear, this cat never changes.

"Alright, let's head inside. Ready?"

"You make it sound like we're about to get into the fight of our lives."

"Does everything relate to fighting with you?"

"When I'm with you; yes!" Relon grins.

"Sheesh, nothing wrong with fighting." Yujiro mutters opening the door.

Out the corner of his eye, Relon looks up seeing something move from a window.

"Time to meet the family!" Yujiro exclaims opening the door wide.

Great...
