Journey Through Remnant
Chapter 14: Reasons for Fighting (Part 1)
Pseudo-World of Zi-O...
"So, do you have any idea who he could be?" Eiji asked. He and Tsukasa had went into the kitchen to discussed Kaitou's information.
"Eiji... Do you have any idea how many Worlds I've been to and how many people I've met?" Tsukasa sardonically replied. The first clue he had gotten in the past two days (for him) and it was not much help.
"Well... Kaitou thought that it would help,"
"And Kaitou likes to mess with people. For all we know, he could be lying about this," Though Tsukasa was not sure for what purpose the cyan Kamen Rider would do this, "Or twisting the truth a little bit,"
"Hey, Woz.." Sougo spoke to his retainer in the main room. The two had let the senior Riders discuss the message nearby, "This Kaitou person? He's the DiEnd that monster mentioned, right? You mentioned that I met him before,"
"I'm- We're curious about that guy too. No one's been telling us anything," Ruby chimed in. All they knew was that they're in another universe and that Sougo was suppose to be some kind of king.
"Yes, my lord," Woz confirmed, "Kaitou Daiki, also known as Kamen Rider DiEnd, is the man who saved you from Another Double,"
"Excuse me, Woz right?" Weiss, despite getting frustrated by the lack of knowledge regarding their situation, remained polite, "Can you please tell us more about him?"
"Hmm..." Woz briefly considered whether or not he should tell them. After a moment, he decided there was not any harm with revealing this information, "Very well,"
"Finally!" Yang was eager at the prospect of finding out more.
"As I told you and Geiz in the old timeline,"
"Old timeline?" Jaune was confused at that part, not knowing Sougo's circumstances.
"Kaitou Daiki can be called an ally of Kadoya Tsukasa," Woz ignored the blond haired boy's comment, "He has the similar powers to Decade such as summoning dimensional walls and cross over to other Worlds,"
"Question!" Nora shouted as she raised her hands as if she were in a classroom, "Can he also transform like you and the professors?"
"Yes, that's why he's called a Kamen Rider," Woz said, a tiny bit annoyed at being interrupted.
"Just to make sure that we're all on the same page," Nora tried to justify her asking that question.
"What abilities does this Kaitou has?" Weiss asked this time, wanting to know more.
"His abilities as a Kamen Rider is like Decade's. Like Kadoya, he can use the powers of other Riders, just in a different way," Woz elaborated.
"Different how?" Ren asked.
"While Kadoya can transform into other Riders to fight with, Kaitou can summon copies that fight for him,"
"I'm sorry for interrupting," Pyrrha apologized, "But what exactly is a Kamen Rider? Nobody has explained that to us yet,"
"Yeah! All the professor says is Kamen Rider this and Kamen Rider that! What do you guys mean by that?!" Nora spoke this time.
"Nora, don't be rude," Ren scolded his partner on her manners.
"To explain what a Kamen Rider is would take too long," Woz said, undisturbed by the orange-haired girl's shouting, "The most simplest answer that is that most of us are heroes,"
"I told you, Weiss!" Ruby was absolutely gleeful that she was right, "They are superheroes!"
"You said that it was that it was the simplest answer," Blake noted, "What's the more complex one?"
"As I said, that would take too long," Woz repeated himself, "You'll be better off asking either Kadoya or Eiji Hino. They know more,"
"You could at least give us the basics,"
"The basics? I can say that each World has its own Rider whether good or bad,"
"You sure about that?" Yang said, "I'm sure Remnant don't have anything like you guys, and what do mean good or bad?"
"Not all of us fight for justice," Woz enigmatically said.
"You mean like that monster that attacked us?" Weiss asked the retainer.
"If you are referring to Another Decade, I must inform you that he is what is known as an Another Rider,"
"Another Rider?"
"To put it simply, they are false copies of existing Riders," Woz explained further, "As you have seen, Another Decade is derived from Kadoya,"
"So that's why that thing looked like the professor," Jaune said, "But why did it attack us?"
"Another Decade was not after you. It was after him," Woz gestured to Sougo.
"About that," Ruby said, "That monster called him things like Demon King and King of Time. What did it mean by that,"
"Oh, that's because it's my fate to become a king," Sougo spoke instead of Woz.
"A king? But that monster called you a Demon King. Doesn't that sound bad for your future?" Ruby was worried over that small fact.
"Well, it's always been my dream to become a king. Being a Demon King is just a minor problem," Sougo was rather carefree about his future.
"Hang on! What did you do to be called a Demon King?"
"Well... Hey Woz, what did I do again?" The teen turned to his retainer.
"On Oma Day, the day that you were fated to awaken to your powers as Oma Zi-O, you saved the world and became the greatest, kindest and most beloved king that ever existed,"
"That... doesn't sound quite right," Blake noticed the inconsistency, "If he saved the world, then why was he called a Demon King?"
"That would take too long to explain," Woz decided to keep quiet about that.
"And Oma Zi-O? What does that mean?" Ren asked.
"They told me about that. I'm supposed to become Kamen Rider Zi-O. Oma Zi-O is my strongest form,"
"Oh,"
"That's putting things too mildly, my lord,"
"Really?"
"This Another Decade wanted to stop you from meeting Professor Kadoya, right? Why?"
"It was to prevent my lord from awakening his powers again,"
"And how exactly did you lose your powers Sougo?"
"From what Woz said, I restarted the timeline and lost all of my powers and memories doing so,"
"...Things keep getting more and more absurd, don't they?"
"You're actually believing that straight away?!" Weiss shouted.
"I mean, it's not the weirdest thing that's happened so far,"
"Is it?!"
"Weiss, calm down," Blake spoke, "Why did Another Decade think that you meeting the professor would awaken your powers again?"
"More likely than not, it's because Kadoya had interacted with my lord back in the original timeline," Woz answered instead, "I believe that Another Decade feared that Kadoya could help accelerate my lord's return to power,"
"You still don't have your powers back?"
"No," Sougo answered, taking out the blank RideWatch he was given, "They said that my powers would only awaken when my feelings resonate with this thing,"
"And what is that?"
"It is... Woz, can you please explain?"
"Of course, my lord," Woz bowed, "This is what is known as a RideWatch. It has the ability to contain the powers and history of a Kamen Rider,"
"Powers, I get. But what do you mean by history?" Yang was confused at the last part.
"I'm afraid that is something I cannot discuss at this moment,"
"So back to the subject," Weiss turned to Sougo, "You cannot use your powers?"
"Not at the moment," Sougo answered.
"Okay..." A small silence fell on the group.
"Are the professors still talking in the kitchen?" Penny asked, having been quiet for the most part for some reason.
"Alright then, let's try to narrow it down," Eiji said, "Out of everyone you met, who would have a grudge against you?"
"..." Tsukasa only gave the Rider a blank stare.
"Okay... How about those that would want to try and kill you?"
"I think it would be easier to write of list of people who don't want to kill me,"
"Urgh... This is going nowhere," Eiji only succeeded in giving himself a headache trying to come up the identity of Another Decade, "And how are you so calm?!"
"I'm too tired to think about it. Besides, I'm used to this kind of things,"
"Huh," Eiji sighed before remembering something, "How about that guy with the fisher hat?"
"Who?"
"During that battle with the Showa Riders. There was a guy who cursed you after that last battle,"
"You mean Narutaki?" Tsukasa thought about that strange man for a moment, "Not sure. I haven't seen him in a long time,"
"But can he be Another Decade?"
"Narutaki hates me... most of the time anyway. I would not be surprised if he has at least some connection to Another Decade," Tsukasa said, "Not sure if he is Another Decade,"
"Is there anyway for you to contact him or something? That could help us in some way,"
"I don't find Narutaki, he finds me. I don't even know where he is,"
"So nothing?"
"Nothing,"
Eiji sighed again, "Let's take a break,"
"Fine by me," Tsukasa got up and went to the main room before being followed by Eiji.
"Professor!" Ruby was the first to notice the professors' return.
"Sougo... What are you doing?" Tsukasa was more interested in what the former King of Time was doing. Said teen was, for some reason, had a focused expression on his face and was staring down the blank RideWatch in his hand.
"Oh, Kadoya!" Sougo looked up at the magenta Kamen Rider, "I'm trying to try unlock my powers again,"
"No luck so far!" Penny chimed in, still cheerful as usual.
"You told him how he can get his powers back, right?" Tsukasa turned to Woz.
"He did," Sougo answered, "I just gotta have my feelings line up with this thing, right?"
"And what are you feeling now?" Tsukasa had a theory as to why the Demon King can not get his powers back.
"Umm... I feel like I want to get my powers back?" Sougo sounded unsure of himself.
"That's it?" Tsukasa had an exasperated tone.
"Kadoya," Woz interrupted, "Can you aid my lord in getting his powers back?"
"I wanted some sleep..." Tsukasa mumbled to himself, "Fine, come with me Sougo,"
"Hang on! You're leaving again?" Weiss shouted, "How about us? Can't you send us back to Remnant first?"
"Later... Sougo, what's your reason for wanting to be a king?"
"Umm..." Sougo fell silent, unsure how to answer.
"-sigh- Come on..." Tsukasa ordered as he opened a dimensional wall.
"Excuse me, sir?" Ruby said meekly, "Umm... Can we follow you?"
"...What?"
"I mean, we don't when you'll be back, so is it possible that we come along?"
"Yeah!" Nora shouted, "It'll be a field trip!"
"No, I'll be taking him somewhere we must not be seen," Tsukasa denied the request, "A large group like this is out of the question,"
"Come on, Tsukasa," Eiji spoke from beside him, "At least take some of them,"
"Please!" Ruby pleaded.
"...I'll only bring two of you. A group of four is as much as I can do,"
"Yeah!" Some of them cheered in happiness.
"Eiji, Woz, you two stay here and keep an eye on the rest," Tsukasa ordered as he tried to decide who to take along.
"Okay," "Very well,"
Glancing at the group, Tsukasa picked out the two he thought he could count on to not do anything to mess up. Tsukasa really wanted to get some rest, but unfortunately for him, it was his duty to help the Kamen Rider first.
"You two," He pointed at the two candidates, "Ren and Blake, right? You two can follow,"
"Aw..." Ruby and Nora whined at being left behind.
"Why do they get two go?" Despite still being irritated, Weiss also wanted to come along.
"Simple. Most of you don't know how to keep a low profile," Tsukasa said matter-of-factually, "I trust that you-" He gestured to Pyrrha, "-could make sure all of them behave,"
"I though that was our job?" Eiji was confused.
"You two make sure they don't wander out of the house, there's a difference,"
"There is?"
"Yes, now let's go. I want to be done with this as fast as possible,"
"How about me?" Penny raised her hand, "I'm sure that I can keep a low profile,"
"You're Atlasean, right?"
"Yes, I am,"
"Is that important?" Weiss, being Atlasean herself, was slightly offended at that question.
"Hahaha..." Yang was chuckling to herself, finding the irony hilarious.
"I can't have you telling anything to that General of yours," Tsukasa ignored the others and answered Penny's question.
"Aw..." Penny whined as well.
"Come on, you three,"
"Yes, sir," "Coming," "Wait for me!"
Unknown location...
"Where are we, professor?" Ren asked as they emerged out of the other side. This was the third time he had gone through the professor's portals.
"Yeah, what he said," Sougo said surveying his surroundings. The place they arrived in seemed normal at first. Then he realized they were on a roof.
"Professor? Why are we up here?" Blake asked, looking down the side. It wasn't that high up, she could easily see the road from where she was. Although that wasn't saying much.
"We're here because he-" Tsukasa pointed to Sougo, who was off looking down the side, "-needs to remember why he wants to be a king. Also, you two might learn something by watching us,"
"What does that has to do with my powers?" Sougo inquired, holding the blank RideWatch.
"Your powers as Zi-O and your desire to be king are directly correlated. If you can remember how you became Zi-O and why you wanted to become a king, then you can get your powers back,"
"So why are we here specifically?" Sougo gestured to their surroundings, "There's nothing up here except us,"
"This side, all three of you. Don't stray too far," Tsukasa called the three over to one side of the roof, "Down there,"
"What is that?" Blake, the one with the best eyesight out of all of them, noticed what was down there first. Two figures were down there on the road. One was a man, the other was much stranger. Even from high up, it was obvious that the strange figure was not human. The most notable feature of the figure was that it was beastly in nature, having green skin and multiple black eyes. It had claws in place of its fingernail and toenails. It also had a strange golden appendages sprouting out of his head.
The figure and the man were fighting, and the former was clearly enjoying beating up the latter.
"That is a Grongi or an Unidentified Life Form. Specifically, that is Unidentified Life Form #1, although this World's police have not started calling them that yet," Tsukasa explained.
"And that man? I feel like I've seen him somewhere before..." Sougo had a brief memory flashed in his mind. A Kamen Rider with red eyes and golden beetle horns.
"That's why we're here. If you want to remember the past timeline, you'll have to remember points of your previous life there. Unfortunately, we can't return to the past timeline. At least not without any problems," Tsukasa admitted, "As for who that man is, he is someone important to all of us Riders,"
"You're not gonna help him?" Ren asked, as the man below was getting badly beaten up fighting the Grongi.
"Can't. As I said, he's someone important to all of us. It's a bad idea to interfere in his birth,"
"'Birth'? What do you mean by that?"
"Just keep watching,"
The man, despite clearly being out of his league, continued tried to fight the Unidentified Life Form. Suddenly, as the man punched the monster, a strange yet familiar whirling sound rang out. Slowly, armor covered his body parts, one at a time. When the whirling ended, the man was adorned in a familiar, albeit slightly different, armor.
"Professor. Isn't that..."
"Yes. That is Kuuga,"
As Tsukasa said, the man had transformed into the same Kamen Rider the Destroyer of Worlds had used in his match against Team JNPR. Unlike that time however, this Kuuga's chestplate as well as his arm braces were white. His horns were also slightly shorter than before.
"He looks different than you," Blake noted.
"That's because that is Kuuga's Growing Form. The one I used was a different form," Tsukasa said, before turning to Sougo, "Did his transformation remind you of anything?"
"No... Yes? I don't know..." Sougo had a headache, memories flashing too quickly for him to properly process, "Who is he? Why is he important?"
"He is Godai Yusuke, Kamen Rider Kuuga," Tsukasa named the man below, "He is important to us because he is the first Heisei Rider. Without him, neither of us would have become Riders,"
"An ancient power for an ancient power!"
'ARMOUR TIME! KUUGA!'
"An ancient power..." Sougo muttered.
"You finally starting to remember your past?" Tsukasa overheard the teen's muttering.
"Something about an ancient power. And fighting an oni?" Sougo said.
"Good," That was a start. Although it'll take a bit more before the former King of Time will remember everything.
"There is also something about the year 2000?" Sougo could vividly recall that number imprinted on a red and gold RideWatch.
"Yes, Godai Yusuke became Kuuga in January of 2000,"
"Excuse me, sir," Ren realized what Tsukasa meant by that, "If he became a Kamen Rider in 2000, and we were in 2019. Then does that mean..."
"Yes, we are in the past. Which is why I want all of us to stay together,"
"You could time-travel as well?" Blake asked, somewhat dumbfounded by that revelation.
"If there is something you need to know about me, it's that I am much more powerful than anything you've ever heard of," Tsukasa couldn't help but boast a bit, "Now, we have to keep moving,"
Opening another dimensional wall, Tsukasa brought everyone to the next point of time...
Pseudo-World of Zi-O...
"Bored!" Nora made her feelings clear to everyone. It hadn't been long since their professor left for whatever he needs to do.
"Professor Hino. Why can't we go out again?" Ruby asked Eiji, who was cleaning the room to pass the time.
"In case Tsukasa gets back earlier than expected," Eiji answered. There was also the fact that he doubt that he could take care of everyone by himself (Woz was rather apathetic with the whole thing).
"He takes hours to return! We could just take a short trip around town and be back before nightfall," Yang pleaded. She, like everyone else, was getting bored with waiting around.
"Sorry Yang," He apologized, "But Tokyo is much larger than you think. If any one of you get lost, it'll be a large problem,"
"Please!" Ruby pleaded again.
"Sorry..." A short silence fell on the group once again.
"So what could we do now?"
"Hey sir," Jaune called out, "Can you tell us more about this place?"
"Hmm... Sure. What do you guys want to know?"
2003: World of Faiz...
"Where are we now?" Blake asked. Like before, they had taken to appearing on top of a roof again, "Or when?"
"Just a second. Sougo, do you recognize that person?" Tsukasa pointed to someone a short distance away who was hiding behind a tree in the middle of a courtyard. As for what he was hiding from, it was a strange creature with ashy-gray skin, and had scarab beetle.
"He's another Kamen Rider, right?" Sougo guessed. Like before, he felt like he knew who that man was.
"Yes. But do you remember his name? You've met him before," Tsukasa revealed.
"Hey, do you know?" The man spoke to the monster he was hiding from.
"He is..." The name continued to escape Sougo.
"Professor? When are we?" Blake asked again.
"That might jog his memories a bit," Tsukasa mumbled, "We're in 2003 this time,"
"2003..." The image of a silver and black RideWatch flashed through his head.
"When you have a dream..." The man continued speaking, "...sometimes it's really painful...and sometimes you get really fired up. Or so I hear,"
"What's he talking about?" Ren wondered. The man stepped out of his hiding spot while grabbing something out of his jacket's inner pocket. Specifically, a silver flip phone. Wrapped around his waist was silver Driver with an empty slot in the belt buckle.
"Just watch..."
"I don't have a dream," The man announced, and pressed a button on his phone, "But, you know, I can protect dreams,"
STANDING BY
Closing the phone, the man raised his hand high in the air.
"Henshin!" With that word, he inserted the phone into the Driver.
COMPLETE
Red lines flowed out of the Driver and traveled quickly along the man's body. He glowed brightly, and armor appeared when the light died down. The man was now clad in another familiar suit.
"Isn't that-"
"Shush," Tsukasa interrupted Ren before he could finish, "Sougo, do you remember him now?"
Sougo closed his eyes and focused, waiting for another memory to come back to him.
He was putting the RideWatches he had gathered into the holder.
"Who are you?" Someone asked from behind him. Turning around, he saw an older man, about 30 years of age.
"Tokiwa Sougo, sir..." He answered, slightly confused. He didn't know why that man was here.
"Myokoin Geiz," The person next to him introduced himself.
"I see. Well, sit down," The man gestured to the table.
"Who are you, exactly?" He asked as he sat down.
The man fished something out of his pocket. Taking it out, the man placed a card in front of him. A name was printed on it.
"Inui... Takumi?" Sougo said, recalling the name.
"Correct," Tsukasa praised, "Do you remember why you met him?"
"I... we were... looking into several missing people cases," A minor headache made it a bit harder, "We found out that an Another Rider was responsible,"
"Good,"
"Hey, sir?" Ren tried to get Tsukasa's attention, "That man is another one of your forms, right? You used it against those monsters that appeared in Beacon yesterday, right?"
"Was it really just yesterday for you two?" Tsukasa had forgotten how long it had been for them.
"Yes, sir,"
"Okay then. And yes, I did use Faiz's powers in Beacon," Tsukasa said, "Now, let's move on,"
"Protecting dreams..." Blake muttered as she followed the others through the dimensional wall...
Pseudo-World of Zi-O
"No Dust or anything like that?" Weiss didn't know exactly what to expect when it comes to other universes, but there being no Dust wasn't one of them.
"No, we have other methods for energy," Eiji explained, "Things like oil, gas, wind, and solar,"
"How about Grimms? There are none here?"
"No. Although we tend to have things like Orphenochs and Smashes running around,"
"No Grimms..." That was Ruby's dream. To create a world where people no longer have to live in fear of those creatures.
"What are Orphenochs and Smashes?"
"Right, those guys..."
2017: World of Build...
"I think I'm getting a bit queasy," The constant dimensional hopping wasn't helping Sougo's stomach, "Where are we now?"
"We're in-" A loud explosion prevented Tsukasa from finishing his sentence.
"What's going on now?!" A group of people rushed passed them and away from the explosion.
"Come," Tsukasa calmly walked towards the source of the sound. They soon found themselves overlooking another battle, "This time, we're in 2017, December of 2017 to be exact,"
"2017? That's just a couple of years ago," Sougo pointed out. The a image of a red and blue RideWatch flashed through his head.
"Who exactly are we looking at now?" Blake wasn't at the village where the Foundation X attacked. Because of that, she didn't recognize the yellow and purple Rider currently fighting against a few jet-black monsters.
"That-" Tsukasa pointed at the Rider of this World, "-is Kamen Rider Build,"
It was snowy evening. He had just been thrown out of the Time Mazine was disoriented by the fall. A strange monster had attacked him as soon as he got back up. He didn't know what would have happened had he not been saved by the two armored heroes.
"He's Kamen Rider Build," One of them pointed to the other.
"Kiryuu Sento. And this is my assistant," The red and blue armor disappeared, a young man was under it.
"I'm not an assistant! I'm Kamen Rider Cross-Z," The first one introduced himself as his own armor disappeared, "Banjou Ryuuga,"
"Kiryuu Sento, right?" Sougo remembered.
"Correct, his power was the first one you inherited,"
"IWAE! The one to inherit all Rider powers..." Woz announced, "The King of Time who will rule over the past and the future. And his name is Kamen Rider Zi-O: Build Armor! This is the moment where he inherits his first Rider power!"
"The law of victory is set!" He repeated what Sento had told him, only to botch it a tiny bit.
"The first power...Build..."
"Sougo?" Ren tried to get the teen's attention.
"Yes?"
"Can you tell us what you two meant by 'inherited'? Professor Kadoya isn't really giving us straight answers,"
"I've been giving you answers since I got back,"
"I don't want to be disrespectful, sir," Blake said, "But all you've done is tell us to be quiet, keep watching, and dragged us all over the place,"
"That is how I work. And this trip isn't for fun, it's for Sougo's sake,"
"..."
"And this is just the third one," Tsukasa added, "Now then, we're going to have to wait slightly longer,"
"For what?"
"Keep watching," Tsukasa turned back to the battle, which was not going well for Build. For some reason, he was fighting rather sloppily and was getting knocked around by the two Smashes.
"What's wrong with him? I thought he would be better,"
"That would take a while to explain, so I'll give the gist of it," Tsukasa said, "Basically, Kiryu Sento is an amnesiac, and had just learned something that shook his whole world,"
"Which is?"
"Wait a bit and watch," The three all simply groaned at that
Back with Build, he was knocked out of his transformation by the two Smashes, and was just lying there.
"What the hell is he doing?!" They heard someone yelled. Shortly after, another man ran into to the battle with a black Driver around his waist.
ARE YOU READY?
"Henshin!"
WAKE UP BURNING! GET CROSS-Z DRAGON! YEAHHH!
The second Kamen Rider had dark blue armor, and clearly had a dragon motif. Banjou Ryuuga, Kamen Rider Cross-Z, immediately engaged with the two Smashes before they could attacked the downed Sento.
"And who is that?"
"Banjou Ryuga, the second Touto Kamen Rider," Tsukasa explained.
"Touto?"
"Later,"
"You don't like to talk a lot, do you?" Blake noted.
"Not when it's necessary,"
"That's ironic coming from you, Blake," Ren said.
"Seriously, what are we waiting for?" Sougo wondered.
"Why aren't you attacking?!" Cross-Z shouted at Sento, getting everyone's attention again.
"I made them..." It was faint, but they could hear Sento speaking, "I played with people's lives... Injecting the gas...turning them into those monsters... If it weren't for me...no one would have been hurt..."
"What does he mean by that?" Ren asked despite already knowing what the professor would say.
"I promise you three I'll tell you more later. Just be patient,"
"You didn't just create the Smash!"Cross-Z yelled out, even though he was still fighting the Smashes, "You put on that belt...and used it to make...many tomorrows...and many futures and hopes!"
Despite barely being able to push back against the Smashes, Cross-Z continued to shout at his friend.
"You fought to help others! You stood to protect others! It's not Katsuragi Takumi or Satou Tarou who did that! It's Kiryuu Sento!"
"This sucks. Having you criticize me..." Sento complained as he got back up, "I remember now. I... am a narcissistic ego-driven..hero of justice!"
Having regained his confidence, Sento took out two small red and blue bottles, "Now, shall we begin the experiment?"
Shaking the two bottles, multiple scientific equations appeared around the genius. Inserting the two bottles into the Build Driver.
RABBIT! TANK! BEST MATCH!
"Come, we're moving on," Tsukasa turned around and opened another dimensional wall.
"We're not staying?"
"No. It's best we don't stay too long. It'll make it easier for us to be spotted," He explained as he walked through the silver wall...
Pseudo-World of Zi-O...
"There's how many people?!" That was one of the biggest bombshell they've heard.
"Uh... Over 7 billion?" Eiji said, not sounding confident for some reason.
"That's...a lot of people..." It made sense. With no Grimm, people could easily spread out across the land.
"How many people live on Remnant?" Eiji asked, having not checking that World's population when he was there.
"Uh..." No one was answering, still trying to process the information.
"Okay then... Let's move on. What else do you want to know?"
Destroy Everything!
Connect Everything!
A/N: I got burned out halfway through writing this chapter, so I decided to split it into two. When will the next chapter come out? No idea yet.
This (as well as the next chapter) will mostly focus on a bit of time-travel. They'll mostly be going to past episodes. I mostly have an idea which episodes will be visited, but you guys can give me ideas. The scenes that will appear will be those where (as the title suggest) the Rider's give their reasons for fighting.
The reason I wanted to have them go into the past is so that Sougo can try to recall events back in his series.
As for why I split them up was so that I can keep conversations short. Having 13 people around was incredibly hard, which is why I cut it down to 4 people only. And why did I choose Ren and Blake? I don't know. I felt like it.
As usually, leave a review saying what you like or dislike about this story.
